Sakura managed to convince Ino to go sleep over at Kiba's house so she can be alone with Kakashi. But the moment she realized what she had done she started to regret her decision. If Kakashi was the one who truly brought her silence what would she do? Cling to him? Follow him everywhere he goes?

One thing was for sure thought. She had to get her act straight. People were starting to notice the way she was acting. The spacing out, the blank stares. If people find out the about her problems they would label her as crazy. She didn't like to think of herself as crazy, she referred to herself as too open minded. Admitting to herself that she might be mad would send her to another downfall.

By eight the dinner was ready and the table was set. Sakura knew that he would be late and she couldn't stop fidgeting so she started walking in circles around the living room:"I am so stupid. Why did I even do this? To him it might seem that I want sex from him or something." She thought and her inner self replied in seductive tone in her head:"That isn't such a bad idea. Mm you will see his face and that body under those clothes. Just imagine the tight muscles on his stomach. Those broad shoulders and that big back of his towering over you while you spread your legs." Sakura grabbed her head and started chanting in a low voice:"Shut up" over and over again.

Kakashi was sitting on the branch of the tree that was growing near Sakura's house. From his position he had a clear view of her in the living room. He smiled under his mask since he saw her holding her head. Her soft rosy lips were moving rapidly. To any other person she would look ridiculous but to him she looked cute and innocent. But he couldn't help but feel concerned as well. He knew she was alone in the house. So either she was nervous or talking to herself. He decided it was time to make his appearance.

Sakura finally composed herself and as she inhaled a deep breath her attention snapped to the door from which a knock came. Sakura took a look of her reflection in the mirror for no apparent reason and went to open the door:

"Yo." His usual greeting and awkward hand shake put a smile on her face.

She invited Kakashi in and made her way towards the kitchen while saying over her shoulder:

"Wow you are not that late. Only fifteen minutes."

He looked at the clock on the wall and hummed in response:"I must be losing my touch."

Those words earned him a chuckle from her and as he sat down on the table she brought the food and put a generous amount in his plate. At first they were talking about normal everyday things. She was telling him about her time in the Fire temple:

"In the beginning while I was recovering they were taking care of me like I was a porcelain doll. But after that I had to live the same way they did. Training, meditation, studying scrolls at one point it was like I was training with Tsunade-sama again."

"Did you learn those jutsu you showed today from there?"

The fact that he had noticed her new techniques put a smile on her face:"Yes. The monks said that I have the abilities to learn more than I already know."

He slowly nodded and before turning his attention back to his food he looked at her. The smile was gone and sadness and worry covered her lovely features. Something spiked his heart so he covered her hand and asked:"What's wrong?"

The moment he placed his hand over hers her mind felt blank. It was the most amazing feeling ever. There weren't whispers, no one talking back to her. She closed her eyes to savor the moment but it wasn't long before Kakashi lightly squeezed her hand and brought her back to the table. She looked him straight in the eye and said:"Do you have nightmares?"

He let go of her hand and looked down in his lap. Nightmares, he always had them no matter when or how. They never let him sleep soundly. After he had killed Rin they were horrible. Only three hours of sleep during the night was his punishment. But at that moment he felt curious as to why she had asked him such a question:

"Of course I do. Everybody does. Why do you ask?"

Sakura wasn't sure whether to be honest with him or make up a lie and change the topic. Ino was the only one who knew part of her problems and she wasn't sure how others would react. In the end she knew that Kakashi would never judge her in any negative way so she decided to go with it:

"I can't sleep that much. Ever since the war ended I have nightmares. Every night."

He saw her painful expression and wanted to comfort her. But how? He himself was broken mentally. But as her friend and ex-sensei he had to say something:

"Eventually these things disappear. We tend to think about them less and less and then they are gone forever from our minds."

Sakura smiled at his failed attempts to cheer her up. She knew better than to hope that time will heal her wounds. Hell she was relying on time to kill her emotions towards Sasuke and how long did it take. Almost her life, but she wasn't the type of person to rain on someone's parade but she still had to say it:

"I know best that these things just don't disappear. They only fade away and then they come back once more to haunt you."

After that conversation the night was relatively pleasant. Once they were done eating he helped her clean the table. She was stalling him with words so she would take his attention away from the dirty dishes. Kakashi saw through her act and trapped her between the sink and him. As he did that her heart skipped a beat. She could feel her body temperature rising and she was praying that in that moment she wasn't blushing. He caught her gloved hand and panic struck her. She knew Kakashi would never do what Sasuke had done to her but still she couldn't hold it back and tried to pull her hand away but he caught her wrist.

Kakashi stared deep into those emerald eyes and saw panic run through them. He wanted to make her feel comfortable and safe. He didn't know why he was feeling like this but he didn't care at that moment. He didn't want to see that expression ever again. He gripped her hand and traced her knuckles with his masked lips and simply whispered:

"I will wash you can dry."

Sakura's heart skipped a beat from the simple motion he had made and as he moved away she felt her heartbeat in her ears. Not wanting him to see her emotions she simply dropped her gaze to the floor and moved from the sink to retrieve a towel. Once they were done and said their goodbyes she closed the door behind him and leaned on it to take a deep breath:"What the hell is happening to me." She thought as she pushed herself from the door. As she was walking into her bedroom the sudden realization struck her. Throughout the whole evening the voices hadn't spoken to her even once.

When she woke up at four o'clock once again she didn't bother to get up. She was staring at the ceiling and various thoughts were racing in her mind:

"Ino saw something inside my mind that night. She tried to hide it but I know her too well. Also the force I used on Sasuke today wasn't the force I had packed in my fist."

Her mind was looking for answers in all situations but one stuck out like a thorn. The fact that she was still alive after that battle and her wounds; she had used all of her medical knowledge to answer that simple question. How had she survived? In her mind it wasn't possible but Tsunade had praised her and that alone had clouded her judgment. The fact that the voices inside of her head were reacting in a different way to each of her teammates was also strange.

She let out a sight and got up from the bed. As she was carrying the cup of hot coffee and walking out on the porch something dawned on her. Tsunade, Kakashi, Naruto and Sasuke were all hiding something from her. And she wanted to know what exactly.

I am really sorru for updating so late but I was really busy and when I was free actually my mind was really tired. I will try to post the next one as soon as possible. Enjoy ;)
