Chapter 14:
The Bloodhound
The Waiting room has been quite for some time now as the sign on the door was light up and said Surgery on it. In that room was Ashley Uzumaki, she was getting surgery done after a training exercise went wrong and Charizard's Mega form went wild and slashed her scar open and she was rushed to the Hospital for the surgery to begin. There waiting for them was Lady Tsunade. An old friend of Ashley's and of Naruto's parents. Tsunade went in and got to work on Ashley and the gang had to wait outside for the news if she was going to be ok or not. It has been several hours now since Charizard attacked Ashley. Charizard has stayed away from them and kept looking at his hands and the blood on them. He knew he didn't mean to hurt her but he did. Naruto and the gang wanted to do something but all they did was leave him alone and let this all be over. After several hours went by the door opened up and out stepped was Tsunade.
"Granny how is my sister. Will she make it?" Asked Naruto with concern on his face holding Hinata's hand
Tsunade looked at them grimly and shook her head and kept it low to the ground.
"I'm sorry we did all we could but she lost too blood and there wasn't anything we could do to save her." Said Tsunade as she felt ashamed to even be there
Naruto, Hinata and Kiba were shocked to hear the news of her death. They thought that she could live because Tsunade could save her. But they know if the scare were to reopen then she wouldn't make it. Hinata pushed on Naruto crying as she didn't want to hear this news at all. Naruto was also crying as he heard the news also.
"When we're all back at the house. Ashley wanted me to tell you all about her life and how she got here now." Said Tsunade
After all was said and done they all walked back to the house and there was Charizard still upset as to what he did. Tsunade walked up and to him. Charizard looked at her and roared at her. She grabbed him by the neck and slammed him down on the ground and jumped on to his back.
"Listen here Charizard, what you did wasn't your fault at all. I've heard that some Charizard's couldn't control the mega forms that easily and Ashley knew the risks when she did it. So it's not your fault at all." Said Tsunade as she got off and walked into the house.
Tsunade sat in the living room and held her out and telling them to sit down in the chairs.
"Now how much do you guys know of Ashley's background?" Asked Tsunade
"She never told us anything about her past." Said Hinata
"Well there is a good explanation for that." Said Tsunade
*Flashback*
20 years ago
Ashley was at home with her father when three Mist Ninja broke through the door of the house and want after her. Her father stood in front of her and told her to run and het away from the house and this as far as she could and to never look back on this place. We she ran for her life she heard her father's screams as the Mist killed him. She stopped and came down onto her knees and screamed. Then the Mist Ninja finally caught up with her and were looking at her ready to make the kill on her and end her life. One of the Ninja raised his weapon and brought it down onto her. But all he saw was the weapon was caught between her teeth and she held there in place and then put presser onto the weapon and she snapped the weapon in half. She then looked up at them with a killer look on her face.
"What the Hell is wrong with this girl?" Asked one of the Ninja
"She broke my weapon and that was made of steel." Said the other one
"She's a monster. Let's run while we can." Said the last one
They all turned and ran away but Ashley picked up a piece of the weapon and jumped into the air and landed on the nearest mist ninja and put the piece of metal right through his throat. Then she jumped off him and ran after the other one in front and kicked his legs out from under him and she grabbed him by the arm and pinned him to the ground and started to bend his arm until there was a braking sound and then she broke his arm. But she wasn't done yet. Then she grabbed the broken arm and she pulled at the arm and pulled it off and then slammed the broken bone of the arm into the spine and that killed him. Then she got back up and saw the last Mist ninja on the ground crawling away from her. She then ran over to him and grabbed him and flipped him over onto his back and stared at him.
"Why did you do that to me and my father? Tell me why?" Asked Ashley
"Because the higher ups wanted you dead because they fear the Ninja and Dragon inside you." Said the Ninja
After that she snapped and she punched him in the face and continued to do so until the head exploded and there was blood on her face. She licked the blood that was on her face and she yelled out.
*End Flashback*
"After that Ashley came to the village and was in rolled into the system by the Third Hokage." Said Tsunade as she looked at them
"Wow but there's more I know that." Said Naruto
"Let me finish." Said Tsunade "After she became a Ninja of this village that was when she got the nickname the Blood Hound. She killed anyone who got in her way and on the missions she could wipe out a whole squad of high level ninja by herself."
Naruto and the rest were amazed by his sister and that she had that much of an reputation of being someone who could find and zero you out and kill. After that Tsunade asked for Hinata to come down to the Hospital in the morning with Naruto she would take a blood test that was in the letter that was sent by Ashley.
"Yeah I'll be there with Naruto in the morning Lady Tsunade." Said Hinata as she held onto Naruto's hand
"Where Hinata goes I go to, right Hinata!" Said Naruto as he was smiling. Then the smile faded away "But still what do I do now without my big Sister here."
"Well that is the thing Naruto. This house is too big for just you two, so Ashley went a head and bought you a nice house in the village to live in and she even got everything ready for you guys. Your sister made sure you were strong without her always being here and so this is her final test to see if you are ready to live on your terms." Said Tsunade
Naruto looked at Hinata and wondered if she was ok with this. Hinata shook her head and that was fine with her.
"Hey what about our training for the exams." Asked Kiba
"Ashley told me that in the note she wrote to me. I'll be taking over your training for the exams and the team leader. That is her final wish she put on the mote before she passed away." Said Tsunade
They were shocked to hear that Tsunade agreed to do that and take her place and continue the training. Tsunade looked at all of them and smiled at all of them.
"She might be gone from the world but she is always going to be in your hearts." Said Tsunade
*The Next Morning*
Naruto and Hinata woke up the next morning and they got their breakfast and were out the door to the Hospital to see Tsunade about some blood testing that Ashley wanted done. When they arrived at the Hospital Hinata was having a time moving forward into the Hospital.
"Hinata I know your pain but we need to do this. So come on Honey." Said Naruto in a reassuring voice
Naruto and Hinata walked into the main room of the Hospital and said to the women at the desk that they were here for some work done by Tsunade. She said that she was waiting for them in ER #1 and that they could go back there and wait for her and that she would tell Lady Tsunade that they were here.
They waited for 30 minutes until Tsunade showed up with another girl by her side.
"Sorry for the wait but this is a Hospital after all. So let's get to the blood work." Said Tsunade to the other women
"Yes Lady Tsunade." Said the other girl as she pulled up Hinata's coat sleeve and put a band around her arm and started to check for a good sport to get blood from. Then she reached into her bag and grabbed a needle and put it inside Hinata's arm and drew blood and then pulled it out and put it back into the bag to be tested by the Doctor's. After that she walked out and disappeared. Hinata and Naruto waited there for more than 3 hours now.
"I'm wondering what is taking them so long." Said Naruto with an upset look
"Naruto claim down please." Said Hinata as she got up and grabbed he in kissed him on the lips
After they broke apart the door opened and stepped in Tsunade with the test results from Hinata.
"After looking over the tests Hinata. All I have to say is congratulations." Said Tsunade with a smile on her face
They looked at each other and wondered what was going on here. So they looked at each other and turned.
"What do you mean Lady Tsunade on congratulations?" Asked Hinata
Tsunade then sat down in the chair and looked at them with a smile on her face.
"Hinata my dear you're pregnant. Congratulations on the baby." Said Tsunade as she looked happy for the both of them
Naruto and Hinata were stunned to say the least. After hearing that Hinata fainted. After 5 minutes she woke again and kissed Naruto and Thanked Tsunade for the news. After that they left the Hospital. Naruto and Hinata then went back to the house to grab their stuff and start moving it to the new house in the village. It took all day but they did it. They are now moved into their place.
"Oh Naruto I love this place already." Said Hinata with a smile on her face as she was hugging Naruto
"I know my sister did always know what we liked." Said Naruto as he was hugging Hinata back
"Naruto we do need to plan the funeral for her soon." Said Hinata with a heavy heart
"I know Hinata, but I still can't believe she is gone." Said a crying Naruto
Hinata held onto Naruto as he cried for his sister who had died. Naruto was never this upset even when it came to Sasuke. But this did hit both of them really hard. But it must be hard for Charizard since he did the blow that killed her. They looked out the window and saw Charizard down on the ground crying. They were going to open the window to say something to him but before they did Charizard got up and started to slam his head into the stone wall in the yard that was over their home. Naruto and Hinata jumped out the window and Hinata grabbed Charizard by the neck and Naruto stood in front of him.
"Charizard Stop this." Yelled Naruto as he held his hands out in front of Charizard "I lost sis, I'm not losing you too. You didn't mean to kill her Charizard."
"Please Charizard please stop." Said a crying Hinata "We don't want to lose you too. Charizard we need you more than ever now."
Charizard looked at them and wondered what Hinata meant by that. So he roared asking what she meant by that.
"Charizard I'm pregnant. I'm going to be a mom. And I need you to help protect me while I'm pregnant, Ok." Said Hinata
Charizard shook his head and turned back around and layed back down.
3 Weeks later at the funeral
Everyone in the village had come to the Funeral of Ashley Uzumaki even Sasuke and his father showed up for the funeral. They all waited for the funeral to start. Naruto walked up to Sasuke.
"What are you doing here Sasuke? I don't want you here at all." Said Naruto
"Naruto look after what your said to my father and to me; I finally see what she meant." Said Sasuke as he was holding back tears as he felt sadden by these events
"And what would that be Sasuke." Said Naruto
"I'm sorry Naruto, I didn't mean to cause this pain for you and Hinata. I'm sorry can you forgive me." Said a crying Sasuke "Your sister was right I was letting power get to me and I was forgetting what it meant to have your team by your side."
Naruto, Hinata and the rest of the rookie 11 were shocked to hear this coming from Sasuke. Then the bells rang and the time came for the funeral to begin. Tsunade was first to speak, the rest followed. By the end it was Naruto and Hinata's turn to speak. Naruto and Hinata turned and looked at the stone that had Ashley's face on it. They then turned back around and looked at everyone.
"My Sister, Ashley was a great person and a great ninja. She taught me a lot over the past years I've been with her. She was one of those rare kind of ninja who put herself and her team above all else. She even made sure to train everyone on her team as good as she could to make sure we would work even without her. My Sister was a kind and caring person, yes she had a dark past but as ninja we are given the duty to protect this village with our lives if need by and that is what my sister did." Said Naruto as he stepped away and allowed Hinata to speak
"Ashley help me out more times than one else ever did. She got me away from my father and she invited me to live with her. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be alive right now. I owe her my life for that and Naruto as well. She and Charizard made me who I am today and thank them for that." Said Hinata as she held back tears
Then it was Charizard who roared and unleashed a Flamethrower and blow it into the air and continued to roar. After that he lowered his head and starting crying. Everyone who was there was a different side of Charizard now. This was not the head strong Charizard, no it was his softer side and he was letting it show. Naruto and Hinata went to Charizard and hugged him. As they were hugging All three of them felt a hand on them. They all jumped and looked around there was no hand on them. Then they all hear something.
"Take care guys and grow stronger, I'm happy for you all, and congrats on the baby Hinata."
They all knew that voice. They were happy to hear her voice one last time.
"Thank you Ashley for everything you did for me. I could never be who I am without you." Thought Hinata
"Thank you sis for everything I'll always love you and will keep you close to my heart. Wish you were here to see how the baby will grow up and so it can meet you." Thought Naruto
Charizard was looking and was happy to hear her voice one more time. Charizard sucked in air and made one loud roar saying thank you for everything. Then the wind picked up and there was a voice on it and everyone heard it.
"Thank you all for having in your lives and always keep me close in your hearts. I'll be here for you when you need me. And Sasuke thank you for understanding."
After that the wind died down and everything went quite. And then they all started to cry.
"We'll miss you a lot Ashley. We won't forget the things you taught us and gave to us all." Said everyone all at once
After this the funeral ended and everyone lift. Naruto and Hinata were back home after the funeral ended and they were sitting on their couch hugging each other. Then there was knock on the door and Naruto got up and answered it and there standing there was Tsunade.
"Hello Naruto I have something that Ashley wanted to give you." Said Tsunade as she handed a note to Naruto
Hinata walked up to Naruto and asked what was going on. He replied that Tsunade came here to give him a note that Ashley wanted to give to him. He opened the note and read it.
"Dear Naruto and Hinata
If you are reading this then it means I'm dead. I'm sorry for this but I don't have time to say much so here it is. Naruto, Hinata have a good life I'm sorry for not being there for you when you needed me the most Naruto. Hinata be good to Naruto and I'll leave everything to you guys. Have a good long Life you guys and take care of Charizard for me. I love you both very much. And there one more thing I lift a metal in a scroll for you both. So do as you see fit with it."

Tsunade turned and left them alone and Naruto closed the door and pulled Hinata back to the couch. They both sat back down and looked at each other and were crying.
