The rest of the day felt like torture for Kim as she felt so alone but so crowded at the same time. She didn't feel like that before that day. It's because now Jerry has a girlfriend and can do couple-ly things together and Kim can't with Jack. But in one day hopefully she'll be able to do couple-ly things with Jack.
"Hey Kim!" Milton said going into our last lesson "You okay?"
"I guess..."
"Kim, you either are or you aren't. Which are you?"
"Aren't." Kim admitted to Milton
"Why?" Jerry asked
"I've been going out with Jack for like a week and we haven't even been on a date!" I said
"It's not Jack's or your fault that he's in juvey. Think about it this way, if he wasn't in jail... you guys might not even be together..." Milton said
"You're right, I'm just being silly." Kim said walking into the classroom and as they sat down in their seats "Anyway, Jack's trial is tomorrow and there's no way we can't get him out."
"I know. We just need to check the video feed again tonight, and put it onto a disc or flashdrive to present to them tomorrow."
"Hey, I just realised that, besides his parents, you and me are doing the most work to get Jack out of jail aren't we?"
"Oh yeah!" Milton realised loudly
"I wrote a really good speech about Jack and how he's so-" Kim said until being interupted by Milton
"Yeah, and I've done all the tech stuff that needs to be done against the Black Dragons like set up the equipment, hack into the mall's security system and reset the password of Rudy's safe in his office where he keeps Frank's phone that we've hidden from him." Milton said proudly
"I wouldn't mention any of that tomorrow." Kim said
"Yeah..." Milton agreed
"Have Ty or any of the others said anything yet?" Kim asked
"Not really but thinking that the trial's tomorrow then surely they will say something to the people who took part in it especially Ty and Frank." Milton replied
"Good. We can go to the dojo with the guys to get the stuff we need and go through it all tonight." Kim said and Milton nodded as their Algebra teacher walked into the classroom requesting silence.
After class at the dojo
"Hey Rudy." They all said walking into the dojo
"Hey." He replied
"Rudy, the dojo has been like this for more than a week, when are you going to fix it?" Kim asked
"Well, when we prove Jack innocent tomorrow. The Black Dragons will pay for the damages of the dojo then." Rudy said proudly
"I'm going to go check on the phone, what's today's password Milton?" Jerry asked
"594726"
"59-what?"
"594- I'll go with you." Milton said walking into the office with Jerry
"What was yesterday's one? 753229?" Eddie asked
"No that was Wednesday's one. Thursday's one was 650128." Kim answered
"Then what was yesterday's one?" Eddie asked
"Thursday was yesterday!"
"Yeah Eddie, don't you know your days! Oh what's tomorrow's date, I need to write it in my calendar and diary-man journal." Rudy said
"Oh, I can't wait for Jack to come back!" Kim said thinking about how he'll be back in the dojo and she won't be as tortured by the others when he's around
"Did Jack say he's definitely coming back?" Rudy asked
"Not exactly..." Kim said
"Well, what did you talk about last time you saw him. I wasn't there I was on a DATE WITH MY GIRLFRIEND BETHANY!" Rudy said standing near the door hoping all the pretty women in the courtyard who have rejected him (all of them), heard and be jealous "WHO IS PRETTY AND REAL!"
"Well, we kind of talked about... you know when... we stated to discuss..." Kim started off
"They were probably making too many kissy faces at each other to do anythign else." Jerry said coming out of the office with Milton
"What, why?" Rudy asked not getting it
"3, 2, 1" Kim, Milton, Jerry and Eddie said in unison
"Oh! You two are together?" Rudy asked as Kim nodded with a huge grin across her face "FINALLY! No more awkward silence between the two of you in the dojo or when I come in and you two are having a moment then deny anything before I can say something! AT LAST!"
"The four of you, possibly more happy about it than I am... possibly." Kim said to everyone smiling when she finished
"When did this happen?" Rudy asked Kim
"A week ago today." Milton answered for her as she opened her mouth to say so
"Wait, does everyone know about it?" Rudy asked as they all nodded "Why am I always the last to know everything? I was the last to know that Kim was joining our dojo... I was the last to know about Jack losing his memory... And I was the last to know that I didn't get the part time job the bikini store in the mall!" Rudy complained
"But you were the first to know about the dojo being trashed and that it was Jack." Eddie said
"Good point... But that's not something to be happy about."
"You were the first to know that Jack was going to China." Milton suggested
"You were the first to know that Jack had the opportunity to go to the Otai Academy." Jerry suggested
"You were the first to know to know that Jack and me were going to be in the Karate Games... Not that, that turned out well..." Kim said
"Has Rudy even got a life that hasn't got to do with us or the dojo?" Milton asked
"No." They all thought for a second then said all together, even Rudy.
"So guys, I talked to Jack today and I said we'd come tonight and talk to him as we won't be able to talk to him until after the trial tomorrow." Kim told the others
"Sure." They all replied
"Of course after we finish things off for tomor-"
"WE GET IT!" They all yelled
"Kim, we understand that you want Jack out." Jerry said
"Yeah and?"
"Oh that's it."
"But you're kind of being a bit... what's the word I'm thinking?" Milton asked
"Crazy." Eddie
"Bossy" Jerry said
"Mean!" Rudy said in a childish voice
"Yes." Milton said while Kim was offended and stood there with an open mouth
"Fine." Kim admitted
"Well, I'm going to go and watch more footage of the Black Dragons and put it together." Milton said
"Ooh ooh! Can I help?" Jerry asked
"Why?" Milton asked
"Last time it was my turn, I watched Frank for hours in the changing rooms after practice trying to tie his shoelaces... It was hilarious!" Jerry replied as Milton walked into Rudy's office where the footage from the cameras were feeding to
"Jerry, it's not good to laugh at someone's mistakes." Rudy said stopping Jerry from walking into the office
"And I also watched Ty talk to his wall for hours and then he started to argue with them."
"NO WAY! I am so watching that!" Rudy said pushing Jerry out of the way into the office
"Guys, you've got to hear this." Milton said coming out of the office as he went back in with the others
"Listen." Milton said un-pausing the video feed
On The Video
"So... What are we going to do about tomorrow?" Ty asked the Black Dragons students
"What about tomorrow?" Frank asked
"Tomorrow is Jack's trial. Surely those Bobby wasannabes-" Ty said before laughing at his 'clever' joke "would want to bail him out after we framed him for ruining both dojos-"
Milton unpaused the video
"Do you know what this means?" Kim asked
"That his 'Bobby wasanabes' joke makes my 'Bad Dragons' joke look bad." Rudy said
"Rudy, you don't need Ty's joke to make yours look bad." Eddie said "I mean... Bad Dragons?"
Then Jerry started laughing to himself
"What?" Eddie asked
"Bad Dragons! Classic!" Jerry said bent over laughing as Rudy smiled to himself
"Guys! It means that we have more evidence against them and this would definitely prove Jack's innocence! We can get him out!" Kim said as they all celebrated
