"Thank you for the warning." Ollie called to the martian and the alien boy as they walked away from his home, the boy waving back with his little friend joining in. "We will be waiting on your call."

The Martian stopped walking to turn to Ollie once more, his eyes suddenly glowing red. "You shall know when you are needed, Oliver. Goodbye."

And with this the three were suddenly gone, leaving Ollie pale faced as he looked at the spot they had been standing on.

Greg now stepped out of the house with a smirk and placed his hand on his friend's shoulder.

"We got some pretty weird lives. Don't we?" He asked Ollie, who could only nod worldlessly after what he had seen.

The cowboy chuckled at his friend's actions then turned to look inside the home, only to find Artemis glaring at him.

"I still don't have my costume." She growled, placing her hands on her hips. "And I'm not going to let you go running around fighting aliens without me! I want to bash some skulls too!"

Greg groaned in almost comedic manner as he shook his head, "Kid, why can't yuh be a normal girl? I remember when Ah helped yuh some two years ago. Yuh weren't this mean."

Now Artemis' eyes were even more narrowed than before and her hands were balled into fists, anger radiating from her, "That was before Stuff was killed and my sister betrayed me! How come you can go running around swearing vengeance on his killer but I can't try to hunt my sister down."

Now Greg sobered and his lips were drawn tight, frowning down at the girl.

They had never seen eye to eye. They both were extremely hard headed people and would get into an argument at any given second. And his temper had been horrible the past few days.

"Ah'm a grown up. Once yuh get a license and get emancipated yuh can do whatever the hell yuh want!" With this Greg motioned to the world around them, "But 'cause Ah want yuh ta enjoy the beauty of livin' Ah won't let yuh go out and fight for a dyin' cause!"

Artemis threw her arms up, "But you never let me do anything! I've already proven myself many times! I can-"

Greg pointed at her dangerously, "Yuh better shut up! For as long as yer under mah care yuh won't run around in a skin-tight costume fightin' dangerous bein's! Don't yuh get Ah care too much for yuh to see yuh burried six feet under?!"

Artemis' face became red in anger and before she could stop herself, she yelled, "I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!"

Greg's eyes widened and his mouth hung open after these words and she gasped at herself, unsure why she had just said those hurtful things. But with tears in her eyes and anger in her heart, she made it even worse.

"And I wish it had been you to die instead of Stuff! I wish it had been you!"

And before Greg could say anything in return, the blonde girl was running away and into the home, leaving him and Ollie in stunned silence on the front porch.

"Barry!"

The blonde man jumped in surprise because of the bone chilling scream that came from his wife, falling from his seat on the couch where he had been relaxing.

"Come here! It's Richard!" Iris yelled and Barry was beside her in less than a second, looking at the television screen in front of them.

"So? Come on, Police Department! Either you give us a hundred mil without any kinds of tricks or we waste the kid!" Captain Cold yelled at the camera in front of him- an amateur one- while his cold gun was pointed to the side of Richard Allen's head.

"Barry!" Iris whispered, tears brimming in her eyes as she saw her only son in a very dangerous situation.

And suddenly Flash was standing beside her, eyes narrowed dangerously. "On it. I'll have him back home by dinnertime."

With this the Flash kissed the woman on the side of the head and sped off, dead set on making the Rogues regretting every single crime they had ever committed in their lives.

"I say, old chaps," Richard spoke in a mock Australian accent, seemingly unaware of the ropes wrapped around his whole body. "I believe these dumb blokes think they can take on the Flash for money."

James Jesse humphed in a pompous manner, fixing his imaginary monocle, "Well, Dickey, I believe I shall place all my money on the Scarlet Speedster."

"I think I shall place all my money as well!" Hartley agreed, "He is much too good to lose to such second rate villains."

This small conversation received a growl from Captain Cold, "Shaddup! Shaddup if you don't want the brat to meet the Ice Age!"

Richard stuck his tongue out at the bald man and Hartley and Jesse both crossed their arms.

"He's our friend! You can't possibly hurt him!"

Captain Boomerang suddenly appeared, boomerang in hand as he examined it. "Wanna try us?"

The three friends paled at the dangerous tone and didn't dare answer.

"They might not. But I will."

Luckily, they didn't have to because the Flash was suddenly standing in front of the boys, arms crossed and eyes burning in anger.

"Flash! How'd you get in here?" Captain Cold gasped, suddenly standing because of the shock he had just received.

The red clad man raised his right hand, showing the many cameras and booby traps the Rogues had laid out to try and grab him, only to let them drop to the floor.

"You've crossed the line, Cold." Flash growled, looking at the three boys behind him. "It's one thing to attack me. But it's a whole 'nother to attack children."

And he attacked.
