I did my research and the names you see here are in deed, former godchildren of Cosmo and Wanda

XxX

After the dramatic summer of forbidden love, a heartbreaking loss and eloping, the two young fairies finished their final year at the Fairy Academy. It wasn't long after graduation that they received their first assignment, an eight year old boy named Sammy. He was a handful and didn't get to keep his fairies for very long.

A few thousand years and several godchildren later, Cosmo and Wanda were finally in the groove of things and were currently godparents to a little girl named Tina Turner.

"Wow, that was a lot of fun!" Cosmo exclaimed, sitting next to Wanda on the edge of Tina's bed.

"Yeah it was." Tina giggled. "Hey, I have a question?" She got under her blankets and lookedat her godparents.

"What's up?" Cosmo smiles at her.

"How come you don't have any kids? Or do you?"

Cosmo glances at Wanda, who smiled at her warmly.

"Well sweetie, we've just been too busy to have kids of our own."

"But, do you want any?" The little girl inquired

"Well, yeah." Cosmo said "but like Wanda said, we're just busy." He shrugged.

"I see," Tina yawned and Wanda tucked her in.

"It looks like someone is ready for bed." The pink haired fairy said.

"Good night Tina." Cosmo said and poofed inside the fishbowl, sitting beside her bed.

"Wanda?" Tone asked before Wanda could Poof away.

"Yes, sweetie?"

"Do you really want to have your own kids one day?"

"Yes," she answered honestly. "But it isn't that simple."

"Well, you would make a great mom." Time said.

That warmed Wanda's heart. She did in fact want a baby of her own, but she was still recovering from the traumatic loss she and Cosmo experienced a few thousand years ago. She couldn't believe how long it had been and the sadness of their loss still haunted her from time to time.

"Thank you sweetie."

"I wish you would have a baby." Tina said sleepily, not really knowing what she was saying. But a wish is a wish and Wanda had no choice but to grant it.

"Wanda?"

Tears fell from his face as he sat beside the hospital bed. He ran his fingers gently over her cheek, pushing a fallen strand of hair out of her face. They'd been at the hospital for several hours and he refused to leave her side.

"Wanda, please wake up!"

He begged. He pleaded. He prayed to a higher power that his wife would gain consciousness.

There was a light knock on the door and the doctor entered.

"Mr. Cosma?"

Cosmo didn't move. He kept his tear filled gaze on his wife.

"Mr. Cosma, may I have a word with you?"

Cosmo heaved a heavy sigh and forced himself to turn his gaze from his wife to the Doctor.

"Is... is s-she going to b-be o-okay?" He stuttered out, trying to keep from losing it completely.

"Mr. Cosma, you're wife is stable. I have a feeling she'll regain consciousness before the end of the evening."

Cosmo smiled, feeling relieved for the first time that night.

"And then, we can go home?" He asked, hope lacing his voice.

"Well, if she does gain consciousness before the end of the night, I still want to keep her here for observation. After all, she did have a moderate concussion. But if all goes well, we should be able to discharge her in a couple days."

Cosmos smile fell.

Doctor Seymore moved to stand next to him. He placed a comforting hand on the green fairy's shoulder and gave him a sympathetic look.

"There is something else I need to discuss with you." He said with a serious tone, which caused an uneasy feeling inside Cosmo.

Suddenly, both Cosmo and Doctor Seymore jumped and looked at the door.

"WHERE IS HE? WHERE IS MY COSMO-LOLO?"

Outside the room Mama Cosma was in a frantic state. She had just received word about her son being at the hospital.

"Excuse me, ma'am, you need to calm down." A nurse approached the distraught woman.

"Calm down? CALM DOWN? MY SON IS HERE AND YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN?"

"Ma'am-"

"Just please, tell me where he is!" Mama Cosma demanded.

Just then a door opened and Cosmo peeked out. Mama Cosma flew over to him in a blur, gripping him in her arms tightly.

"Oh my poor boy! What happened? Are you alright?"

"Mama...can't... breathe..." he gasped out

Mama Cosma released her grip but didn't take her hands off of him. She held him out by the arms so she could look him over.

"My dear sweet boy, what happened to you? I heard you were here and I came as soon as I could."

"I'm fine, mama. It's Wanda..." he trailed off looking back into the room, biting his lip, trying to hold back tears.

"Oh thank heavens! I thought something happened to you!" She sighed in relief and smiled at her son.

Both fairies floated into the room. Cosmo took his seat at Wanda's side and his mother floated next to him. She eyed Wanda in the bed before turning her attention to the doctor.

"Hello, I'm Doctor Seymore." He extended his hand out to Mama Cosma.

"Oh, hello Doctor. I'm Edna, but everyone calls me Mama Cosma."

They shook hands and Doctor Seymore smiled politely before addressing Cosmo.

"Mr. Cosma, I do think it would be best if we have a word in private."

"But, I don't want to leave Wanda."

"Oh, it's alright dear. I'll go get you something to eat." Mama Cosma patted Cosmos cheek before poofing out of the room.

Cosmo sighed and looked at Doctor Seymore.

"We ran some tests and I'm afraid I have some bad news."

Cosmo whimpered, tears brimming his eyes and his lip quivered.

"B-but you s-said s-she w-was okkkayyyy." He lost it. The tears poured out h controllably.

"Mr. Cosma-"

"Please, please don't let her die! She can't die! I need her! I love her!" He said shaking the doctor in desperation.

"Mr. Cosma, please! Your wife isn't going to die. She's stable."

Cosmo looked up in confusion

"B-but you said there was bad news."

Doctor Seymore sighed. "Yes, I'm afraid there is. Your wife is going to be fine, but according to our tests, she was pregnant,"

Silence. Blank stare.

He blinked, trying to comprehend what the doctor had just said. Confusion was evident on his face.

"W-What?" He finally managed.

"She was three weeks pregnant," Doctor Seymore continued. "Unfortunately the baby didn't make it."

Silence.

"I'm so sorry for your loss. If you need anything, anything at all, please feel free to page me." He lingered for a moment before he turned to leave the room.

Cosmo was frozen in place. A blank stare remained on his face as he tried to gather his thoughts. Questions plagued his mind.

Pregnant? She was pregnant? Again? But, why didn't she tell him? Did she even know?

Suddenly, Cosmo's thoughts were interrupted.

"My dear Cosmo-lolo. I brought you your favorite, cheese casserole."

Cosmo looked at his mother and then drifted his gaze to Wanda. He made his way back to her side and placed a hand on her stomach. He stared at it in concentration as the doctors words rang through his head. Then a sudden look of horror flashed across his face as he realized the meaning of the words spoken to him mere seconds ago.

"Cosmo, dear, whatever is the matter?" Mama Cosma asked as she observed her sons actions.

Cosmo rested his head on the side of Wanda's bed, one hand remained on her stomach and the other gripped the blanket tightly. Mama Cosma watched as her son broke down. The only sounds in the room were sobs and the steady rhythm of the monitors.

"Jorgen, please!" Wanda sat across from the bigger fairy. "I can't go through that again."

"I'm sorry, but I can't make it a rule unless it is absolutely necessary."

Wanda looked at him perplexed.

"But it's not fair that a child can wish a life changing situation on is like that. What about those other fairies, who are too young or aren't even married? What about those who aren't ready for a baby?" She looked at Jorgen with pleading eyes. "This should be a rule just like wishing for divorce or someone to fall in love with someone else."

Jorgen looked at her thoughtfully.

"Well, I suppose you do have a point."

"Please," tears fell from Wanda's eyes and Cosmo places an arm around her in comfort.

Jorgen, although he was a tough fairy, couldn't stand to see a woman cry. He sighed and pulled out a sticky note from the top drawer of his desk.

"Alright, I'll make it a rule that babies can't be wished for." He began writing on the sticky note.

Cosmo and Wanda looked at each other with relief.

"Thank you!" Wanda said happily, wiping tears from her eyes.

"Yeah, yeah." He waved her off. "But if this should happen again," he looked at the two fairies intently "you will need to come up with an excuse as to why it is forbidden."

"Well, you can always blame me." Cosmo said with a shrug.

"Cosmo, why would we blame you?" Wanda asked

"Well, He does have a point," Jorgen said "after all, he was a dangerous little baby." He sneered at the green haired fairy.
