As the mother figure of their small group of friends, the white haired girl noticed something a tad bit off with her indigo-haired friend. Sure, said indigo-haired friend was constantly being weird but this was just—
"What do children like eating?"
…wierd
"What?" She swears that her eyes would bulge out of her eye sockets if the people around here carry on surprising her with these kinds of questions all the time. Knowing the heterochromatic-eyes girl for years, one would expect that she was the kind of person to ask about what children does NOT like eating and maybe cast an illusion fooling kids that their favorite foods suddenly turned into veggies
… Ryomei didn't even think Tsuna has ever let that one go, even after all those years
That shows how much that girl hates getting her cupcakes stolen
"I want to know what children usually prefer eating" The creepy girl repeated her earlier question as a statement to the white haired girl.
Sasagawa Ryomei raised an eyebrow "Why to the extreme?!" She unconsciously raised her voice
"Is there a problem with wanting to know?"
"Well… No, there isn't…" The younger thought for a moment or two "Kids usually like eating sweet things, like cookies and candies! For more reference, think of Melambi!"
"Err…" the pineapple-haired girl trailed off, seeming to have trouble forming words.
"C'mon! I'll accompany you to the store!" She offered and the other looked relieved
Ryomei just realized how seemingly helpless Mukuri seemed to be when Kyori wasn't with her. The ebony-haired girl was usually the one giving the indigo-haired girl advice for various things.
But on the other hand, she couldn't imagine Kyori taking care of children. But if the older girl came back from that job of hers (the latest one, she just left to meet her temporary boss a few hours ago) with a positive pregnancy test, hell WILL break loose
Yeah, that was how much of a mother-figure she was.
Back to about Mukuri, she wondered who she was giving sweets to. Who knows? Maybe she decided to adopt a child while she was still seventeen
Hahaha… no
Though, she was still curious of who Mukuri was giving treats for. Maybe she should ask someone to spy on her (because Ryomei wasn't stealthy at all was will most likely be caught in no time at all) Maybe Kyori, perhaps? No, Kyori's out of the list, since she's working for what she calls a vampire
Other than Kyori, there was Hayano. Since the three lived together for a year or two, they were bound to have a bond.
Ryomei gave a thoughtful hum. Hayano was out for today, saying she was going to the library today. It was best not to disturb her for today.
The white haired girl wasn't going to ask Tsuna either, the second youngest of their group went to Vongola mansion today again and Ryomei bets money and boxing gloves that she wouldn't like to be taken away from Giotto. Whether she knows this or not, Tsuna was VERY fond of the blonde.
Speaking of the blonde, there was this one time when he was forced to leave Tsuna because of large amounts of unfinished paperwork.
Seriously, Ryomei didn't think there was anybody else close to Mukuri to ask the favor of. Everyone she knew was busy except—
Daemon Spade!
Though there was this extremely annoying air about him, he's still Mukuri's student—at one point anyways, so he should have a close bond with Mukuri. All good teachers had a close bond with their students and Mukuri didn't really strike her as a bad teacher; she had taught Chrome and Fran in the future after all.
So anyways, Daemon Spade should be at the Vongola mansion
"Oya? You think master is taking care of children?" Daemon was inwardly surprised when one of his master's friends came looking for him (for some reason, Knuckle glared at him for a second or two) He was even more surprised when he was asked to spy on his master
Well, he DID think of it before. He just didn't have an excuse when he was caught
"What are you doing?" A seven year old Mukuri asked an eight year old Daemon. She was going to buy a chocolate bar when she noticed him hiding in the bushes
Younger Daemon cursed inwardly as he struggled to find and excuse "I-I was…" He started off
"You were…?"
"going… t-to buy…"
"a…?"
"a-a… watermelon! Yeah, that's it! I was going to buy a watermelon!"
…
No words could be used to described how much Mukuri wanted to laugh right now
"Pfft-!"
And so she did
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
"Yes." Was Ryomei's only reply, It couldn't be anything else anyways
"Have yo ever considered that maybe she only wanted to eat them by herself?" The melon headed teen suggested.
"I don't think so; most of the chocolate she bought were containing strawberries" Ryomei explained, and when Daemon's confused face needed and explanation, she said "If you didn't know, Mukuri's allergic to strawberries"
"…She is?" Maybe that was the reason she didn't eat the cake he bought her for her birthday! He had been hurt that day… He never would have thought she was allergic to strawberries!
"She is, she gets severe rashes if she eats even a tiny bit. Sometime around her seventh birthday, she ate strawberry cake knowing she would get rashes!" Ryomei said, thinking back to the time when Mukuri decided to be an idiot and devour that cake
"…Oh" So she DID eat it! Maybe that was the reason she had bandages covering most of her body a few days after her birthday
Daemon felt so touch he could dance around happily
But he won't because the girl in front of him would think he's weird
And he is NOT weird thank you very much!
Funny… Alaude would've hit him by now and call him a liar
"So can you find out what she wants to do with the chocolate?"
"Alright then, Nufufu…"
'What is she doing here?' Daemon thought as he hid behind a tree. He really didn't have any idea what Mukuri was doing in an open lot.
It was quiet, since the lot was quite distanced from the town. Deciding to walk over to her and ask about what she was doing here but stopped when he finally noticed the illusion around the space in front of her. It was weak and it was definitely NOT his master's work
Looking for his devil lends in his pockets, the melon-headed teen held it up to his left eye. That was when he saw the small child in front of her.
Oh wait, there were two children, there was another sitting in the sidelines.
Back to the one in front of Mukuri, it was a girl no older than eight or nine years old was standing there. She was quite short, and had shoulder-length purple hair with wide matching eyes. The child had a concentrated look on her face
"Viper, still too weak" Mukuri said, snapping Daemon out of his thoughts. The tone she used wasn't cold nor was it warm. It was just somewhere in the middle with a tiny bit of firmness
What? But Daemon couldn't see through the illusion until he brought out his devil lens! How could Mukuri see through the illusion so quickly? It was then he noticed that object in his master's hand
Isn't that… and eye pad?
Then it finally dawned on his head

"What are you doing here?"
Oh shit
A maid was sweeping the front yard today when she spotted a carriage heading towards the mansion. Looking through the clear windows, she smiled excitedly and made her way towards the carriage when it finally stopped. The door was opened and the person inside came out
"Good morning, Miss Tsunahime!" She greeted, happy to see the warm brunette again. She was so nice! Remembering the other women who visited frequently before Tsuna and her friends started visiting, it was safe to say everyone preferred Tsuna and her friends any day. They were a lot nicer (even miss Kyori and Miss Mukuri too!) than most female guests. And so the maids, butlers, and other workers in the Vongola Mansion were always looking forward to their next visit
"Good morning as well, Miss Nancy" The younger girl sent her a heartwarming smile. For some reason, in the time length of the last six or seven visits Tsuna had already memorized about eighty percent or more of all the staff in the Vongola Mansion.
"Master Giotto is in his office right now" She informed the guest who her boss had a crush on. She knows why he liked her as well; if she was a boy she'd like Tsuna like that as well
"Alright! See ya' later, Miss Nancy" Tsuna said as she skipped happily towards the main entrance, greeting some maids along the way
As the maid now known as Nancy continued to work, she saw yet another person; someone her master would also be glad to see.
"Ciao, may I know your name?" A taller man approached Tsuna, smiling in a carefree manner
"You first" Tsuna turned to him, smiling in the same manner as the man—no he looked too young—teen did. He had bright red hair and a handsome face. He seemed nice and there was a hint of… playfulness(?) around him
"Cozart Shimon"
