Sorry for the long, long, long, really long, long wait!

"Chloe, I choose..."
Before Siddeley could finish his sentence, the door was thrown open by Miss Clark.
"Oops." She said looking at the wall that now had a crack in it. "Looks like I don't know my own strength."
Siddeley and Chloe both rolled their eyes.
"Anyway, I came in because I heard voices so I assumed that you were both awake." Miss Clark informed them. "Siddeley, dear, sit down and Chloe, move somewhere else please."
"No, I'm staying here!" Chloe said stubbornly.
"Chloe E-" Chloe gave Miss Clark a warning look that caught her mid sentence. She cleared her throat and glared at Chloe before continuing. "Chloe, please leave the room, I need to help Siddeley."
"I'm not leaving!" Chloe shouted, her voice echoed across the large room.
Siddeley and Miss Clark were both stunned by her stubbornness. Miss Clark just gave her another glare before giving a sigh of defeat.
"Fine, do as you like, just don't get in the way and be quiet." Chloe just nodded and sat down on the other side of the room while sticking her tongue out at the both of them.
Siddeley sat down on the edge of the bed while Miss Clark sat on the chair that Chloe was previously sitting on. She put on a pair of white latex gloves before inspecting Siddeley's body. (She's a nurse, so it's not weird for her to be checking Siddeley's body :P)
"Everything seems to be in order." She said, as she inspected Siddeley's stomach. "A few bruises, but no broken bones, so that's good. Just don't put so much pressure on it. I'll give a note to your combat class teacher, so you don't have to worry about that."
Siddeley bit his lip to prevent himself from laughing. He didn't want to embarrass himself in front of Miss Clark and Chloe. Unfortunately for him, Miss Clark noticed and smirked.
"Siddeley, are you ticklish?" She asked.
This obvious got Chloe's attention as she looked at Siddeley.
"...yes..." He muttered quietly.
Chloe flashed him a devious smile while Miss Clark just laughed light-heartedly. She glanced at her watch to check the time, her eyes widened, then she quickly ripped off her gloves and threw them in the trash can nearby.
"Well, you two better get a move on." She said as she helped Siddeley of the bed, even though he didn't need any.
"Why's that?" Chloe asked.
"Didn't you hear the announcement?" Miss Clark said, "There's an assembly at 9:00."
Chloe just waved her hand at her, obviously not caring. "I don't wanna go and besides, no one listens to the announcements anyway."
"Speaking of which, why are the announcements so early in the morning?" Siddeley asked. "People are trying to sleep!"
"Actually... the students and staff always get up at around 6:50." Miss Clark said, then laughed when Siddeley's jaw dropped open. "There aren't any classes on Saturday or Sunday though. And some times the students get to sleep in until 7:15, if classes get canceled unexpectedly."
"You're joking right? Please tell me you're joking." Siddeley said.
"That's what happens at CHROME academy. It's just the way things are." Chloe added, "Though, I never follow the rules so I don't really care." She smirked.
Siddeley looked at her confused, "But... if you never follow the rules and get into fights a lot... then how come your not... you know... expelled or something?"
Chloe and Miss Clark both stiffened at his question, before avoiding eye contact with him. Then Chloe mumbled something that Siddeley couldn't hear but went along the lines of 'my stupid father, that's why.' Or something like that.
"Whatever, nevermind..." He said.
"Anyway, you two should get ready for the assembly." Miss Clark said then shooed them both out of the infirmary room, but not before calling out to Siddeley. "And be careful Siddeley, go easy on your stomach."
"Thank you very much Miss Clark, I really appre-"
"Let's go already!" Chloe said annoyed then grabbed Siddeley by the ear and dragged him away.
"Ow, ow, OW!" Siddeley whined as Chloe pulled his ear. "Let go!"
"I'm trying to find your dorm room."
"Do you even know which section it's in? Let alone the room number?" Siddeley asked irritated,
"No, but I bet you don't remember either, considering you don't have your nerd-like papers with you." Chloe countered back while smirking.
Siddeley was about to throw a comeback when he realized that she was right. Without the papers that the secretary gave him, he had no idea where he was going. He blushed in embarrassment.
"Whatever, I guess you'll just have to go to the assembly like that." Chloe said as she stared at the clock on the wall.
8:30 already? Wow, time flies by when you're arguing with some girl who you just met and are already defending from a group of idiots... and Finn, I guess... Siddeley thought to himself. Wait, isn't she still mad at me?
"Hey... Chloe?"
"Yeah, what?" She answered while leaning against the wall.
"Are you... do you... do you still hate me?" Siddeley stuttered. Way to act manly, Siddeley. He thought sarcastically.
Chloe gave him a look of confusion before she realized what he had meant.
"What? No!" She said, "Look, I'm not gonna say much, but I can't hate you. As stupid as it sounds, I could never hate you... no matter how hard I try." She muttered the last part.
"Why not?"
"Can we just drop the subject before I go on hulk mode again?" Chloe growled.
Siddeley put his hands up in defense, "Fine, fine. But if your gonna be hulk, can I be Iron Man?"
Chloe smirked at him, "But whoever you want. No one can defeat The Hulk." She stuck out her tongue at him, "And besides, I happen to know Iron Man's one weakness."
"Oh? And what would that be?" Siddeley challenged.
"This."
Chloe tackled Siddeley to the ground and started tickling his sides. He started laughing hysterically, tears formed in his eyes.
"Chloe! Get off me!" He shouted in between laughs. She just grinned deviously and continued tickling him. "Chloe! I mean it! Get off!"
"Say that The Hulk is better than Iron Man."
"Never!"
"Alright, you give me no cho-"
Suddenly, Siddeley flipped both of them over so that he was above her. He started tickling her sides with his fingers, and because he was sitting on top of her stomach, Chloe couldn't get him off.
"Siddeley! I'm gonna... kill you!" Chloe laughed.
"Ha! I'd like to see you try." Siddeley smirked.
"Bring it on fly boy!"
The tickle fight went on for a few more minutes until Chloe's stomach started to hurt. Siddeley figured that she had had enough, so he got off her.
"Come on, I think we're late." Siddeley said,
"Psh, I'm always late, it's no big deal."
"Yeah, well I need to make a good impression!"
"Yeah, well I don't care." Chloe said sticking her tongue out.
"You're so immature."
"Well obviously! I'm a kid! You're not immature; it's kinda scary seeing a kid like you... not act like a kid."
"What do you mean?" Siddeley inquired.
"What I mean is that, you don't act like you're supposed to. You act all serious, and it's kinda boring really." She shrugged.
"But-"
"You act like an adult, all work and no fun. That's just sad." Chloe said, "You need a lesson on how to let loose and just go with the flow."
"Does that involve breaking school rules? Because if it does, then I don't want any part of it."
"How do you expect to have fun when you're always worried about what might happen? Come on Siddeley! We gotta live while we're young!"
"I guess... I could... But what about-"
"Hey you two!" A stern voice echoed through the empty hallway.
Both Chloe and Siddeley turned their heads to find a young, male teacher walking towards them.
"What is it now, junior?" Chloe asked, a little irritated by his presence.
The teacher ignored Chloe's rude question as he glared at both students.
"The assembly already started! Like the head master said, it is important. Go to the auditorium, right now!"
Chloe rolled her eyes but obeyed. As the three of them made their way to the auditorium, Siddeley began to wonder what the assembly was about.
"Probably to fix some of the gadgets." Chloe answered, obviously not caring. "Or best spy student of the month award. Whatever it is, I hope it's quick. I don't wanna waste my time doing something useless."
"Trust me Chloe, it is important." The teacher said, not bothering to look at either students.
I guess Chloe's right. I mean, if this assembly isn't important then there's no point, right? Still... what if it's a presentation? What if they'll test me on something I don't know about?! Okay, just breathe Siddeley, everything it going to be fine. I just have to calm down. It's just a regular assembly.
Oh how wrong he was because as soon as the teacher opened the auditorium doors, Siddeley's face paled. All eyes landed on Siddeley and Chloe. He heard Chloe gasp, but didn't look at her. He ignored all his surroundings because all he could focus his eyes on was the picture projected on the giant screen in front of everyone. Siddeley's eyes were fixed on the small sentence at the bottom, along with the picture of a smiling man.

I know it's really short and I'm sorry for that, and if it's... boring. But, hey, it's better than nothing, right?
