AN h guys i know the chapter is short and you probably don't want to be reading a authors not but i felt i had to address something. the other day i got a really bad review from an anonymous guest reviewer. basically he or she felt that i was trying to be creepy and weird with this story this is not my intent i am attempting to use an idea i have seen in books before. i am not making Bats into a pedophile or Black raven into some sort of Lolita slut character my intentions are an honest gradual changing of relationship any physical adult relationship will happen when Black Raven is an ADULT. And to the guest reviewer you only read the first chapter or at least i assume you read it instead of tearing into me right away. I don't appreciate people flaming others its mean and not helpful in anyway please people think before you review.

Chapter 12

Warehouse on the docks.

"Well it seems that Little Miss Raven here is allergic."

"Damn I want them to feel the fear before they die not go into anaphylactic shock." Scarecrow sighed and looked to Bane.

"Lets throw her into the river she wont be doing us any good." Bane picked the unconscious girl up and felt her heart hammer her ribs and heard her pained erratic breathing as well as saw the painful looking hives on the skin of her neck and jaw and almost felt sorry for her, almost if she wasn't a Bat he probably would have spared her.

They went out to the docks and Bane threw the girl in watching her sink beneath the small waves.

"Adios Niña." Bane muttered as they turned and went back to their hideout to check on their experiments on combining Venom with Fear Toxin.

Outside at the Docks

Batman felt his heart skip a beat he knew Black Raven was still incapacitated so she couldn't have been moving under her own power. When he saw her dot on the map head over the area that Batman knew was the river he cursed violently and took off running with Commissioner Gordon behind him already ordering silent patrol cars into the area.

Underwater

Cold…falling yet weightless… wet…pain…

Confusion was the dominate emotion for Black Raven as she returned to a semi-conscious state. Black Raven closed her eyes and went limp again precious air escaping her lungs.

If this was death it wasn't so bad.

Docks

Batman unhooked his cape as he ran letting it flutter to the ground behind him knowing that Gordon would catch it without his having to ask. He heard Detective Bullock and Officer Montoya run over and badger Gordon with questions but continued on his course and threw himself into an arching dive as he reached the end of the pier. The water was freezing, but Batman didn't notice much as he began to search for Black Raven.

He went down deeper and saw the fluttering trail of her cape grabbing it he carefully reeled her in and wrapped his arm around her waist and made his way to the surface.

Gordon watched the water anxiously waiting for Batman he ignored Bullock's inane chatter about how kids were more trouble than they were worth as the surface of the river surged he stepped forward cape in hand to wrap around Black Raven.

"Take her and start CPR immediately." Batman growled as he handed the girl over. Taking her he and Montoya started CPR wincing in sympathy at the painful hives on her neck and jaw line.

"Batman where are you going?" Gordon asked as he kept mental count of the compressions.

"I'm going after Bane and Scarecrow, once you have her breathing again get her into the Batmobile it will take you Gordon and her to the cave where she can get treatment." They heard the Batmobile pull up and wait idling and Gordon hoped they could get Black Raven breathing again because if not he didn't think anyone would be able to stop the Bat and he knew Robin would be right there with him.
