The Light in the Darkness
Spoilers: All of Haven Seasons, especially 4x13 The Lighthouse

They were escorted to a huge hall that seemed to be lined with columns on both sides and cloth that created a majestic effect. At the end of the hall sat a throne but before it was an altar of sorts, on it laid Audrey's body. Guards surrounded the altar and each held a sword, as if to ward off anyone who could touch the body.
"Audrey!" Nathan ran over but was met with a sword to the throat. "What…"
"Stand back, no one is to touch the body. We cannot risk someone trying to steal and wake the woman who nearly destroyed our lands."
Trevor moved over and the man lowered his sword, "Simon move aside, they have not the ability to wake her."
The man stood aside and Nathan moved to Audrey's body, touching her forehead. "Come on, you accepted Light…or whatever you had to do. Wake up, please wake up."
"Simon, removed them!" They saw Leo walk in, he walked over to Jennifer and stared down at her. "You should not have returned Jennifer."
Jennifer looked over as guards dragged Nathan away from Audrey's body, she folded her arms. "I have every right to return, I am Jennifer of Lunis, Lady of Light and I have come to claim the body of Mara of Darkness. As she was my mother I have right to claim her body and I shall…trade it for the mantle. I will hand it over right now to your daughter if you give me my mother."
The guards seemed to stop and watch as Jennifer spoke, Leo chuckled. "You maybe a Lady of Light but you cannot claim the body of the most wanted woman ever to grace our lands. Nothing you give us can replace what she did, two souls or not."
"This madness will cease this moment." Everyone turned to see Phoebe walk in, she wore a white gown with a golden circlet like Jennifer's. "Guards you are dismissed," they merely looked at her, "I said leave this moment."
They left and Nathan returned to Audrey, Leo pulled the sword from his side. "Mother, the people must know she is no longer a threat."
"And destroy Audrey's soul?" Phoebe moved to the throne and sat down, "was it not you that said we must help those who are of Light."
"Light did not accept Audrey and it could not touch Mara, so it is pointless." He pointed his sword at Jennifer, "and this one, once people know she is the daughter of Mara all will condemn her as well. These outsiders who have no place, they will suffer with her." He shook his head, "for centuries you have brought our land to ruin and with the body of Mara delivered by me when you failed it will be known you cannot lead us."
Duke moved to Jennifer and pulled her aside, "this was all a set up to begin with, you knew we'd have to shoot Audrey to get rid of Mara. You wanted her dead so you could bring her here to begin with. To what, dispose of your mother…why?"
"Like I said, centuries of ruin under her…because she could not do what had to be done and kill Mara."
Jennifer looked around and then at the ceiling, "lunis acmore!"
Leo looked at her and lunged, the sword piercing Jennifer's side. "You will destroy us all!"
"Jennifer!" Phoebe yelled as the ceiling opened and a bright light filled the room. "Shield your eyes, stay to the ground, you'll burn if you do not."
Duke moved over to Jennifer as she laid on the ground, blood staining the purple dress she wore. Leo moved away, his bloody sword just feet away. They all huddled to the ground as the light shown across the room, engulfing it in light bright as the sun.
"How do you stop it?" Nathan yelled and Phoebe practically crawled over to them, "Duke have Jennifer stop it…whatever it is."
Phoebe reached Nathan and pushed him closer to the floor, "it is the Light of Ages, that which surrounds us is a piece of a dying sun that was trapped in crystal long ago. It is as powerful as the sun on your world, it is part of it as all suns are Light. Only a command from whom released it can stop it."
Duke looked at Jennifer from where he laid, having pulled her onto her side. She was still bleeding and only halfway conscious, "Jenn…Jenn you have to undo it. Come on, you can do it."
Jennifer groaned as she reached out a hand to Duke, "lunis decamore."
Minutes later the light was gone, immediately Duke rolled Jennifer over. "She needs help, a hospital or something."
A/N: So we are in Darcadia and have discovered a huge plot to overthrow the kingdom, plus Audrey's fate is unknown and Jennifer is severely injured once again. What do you think will happen next?
