The Real Savages!

South Blue: Jungle Island; Marine Ship

"Did you find anything useful regarding to this "murderer" that these guys were talking about earlier?" Wyatt asked Lucy after he and Miles had finished tying up all the unconscious marines to the mast of the ship.

"No, nothing. It seems like the connection with the den den mushi's has been cut for some reason. I can't come into contact with anyone from the other marine squad." Lucy replied as she set down the den den mushi, letting out a sigh of frustration.

"So what should we do now? It isn't safe to stay on the ship anymore since we were attacked by the other marines." Miles stated. "Eventually other squads will come here to investigate won't they?"

"Miles has a point. It won't be safe here anymore. We've gotta move the ship somewhere else." Lucy stated before she got Wyatt to help here raise the anchor to the ship.

"Where are we going to move it? And what about Corona, Koga, and Jays? What if they come back here and the ship is suddenly gone?" Wyatt asked while Lucy headed for the wheel of the ship.

"We'll find a way to signal them on where the ship is." Lucy replied as she began to steer the ship. She looked up and stared off into the distance to see smoke filling the air. "Hold on a second...isn't that where the settlement is? What's up with the smoke?"

"It looks like the place is on fire. What the hell is going on over there?" Wyatt raised an eyebrow as he walked over to the railing of the ship. He asked that the others on the ship remain silent for a moment as he leaned forward to get a good listen on what was happening in that area. A small frown made its way onto the usually cheerful marine's face upon hearing multiple sounds of gunshots. "It sounds like some kind of battle is going on over at the settlement."

"Perfect. We'll dock the ship near the settlement and settle whatever is happening over there." Lucy said.

South Blue: Jungle Island; The Settlement

"Why? Why didn't it work?" Corona muttered as she was currently watching the chaotic fight between the people and marines of the settlement engage the animals on the island in full on combat. She could do nothing but watch the constant bloodshed of everyone in the area. "I tried to stop this bloodshed and end this whole problem peacefully. So why didn't it work? Why did it turn out like this?" She felt utterly hopeless. She became a marine to prevent battles like these from even happening. And yet one was occurring before her very eyes and she couldn't do anything but watch.

"T-This is all your fault! Those savage beasts are killing us because of you!" The people of the settlement yelled and pointed at Corona. Feeling that she should take immediate responsibility for her actions, the people rushed towards the momentarily stunned marine, moving in to kill her once and for all. Before they could raise their weapons to deliver the finishing blow, Lieutenant Hunter Bradford aimed his rifle at the attackers and fired off a few rounds into their arms, ultimately disarming them.

"Back away from her right now!" Hunter ordered, his finger was ready to pull the trigger once again. The group of people cringed in pain while clutching their wounded arms. They stared at the marine lieutenant for a second before looking back to Corona. Not wanting to risk getting injured anymore than they already have been, the group of people quickly turned tail and ran away from the area. Sighing in relief that the people were gone for now, he knelt down beside Corona to make sure that she was okay.

"You saved me again. Thank you Hunter." Corona smiled as she looked up at her superior officer.

"Don't thank me just yet. This is only the beginning." Hunter indicated to the marines beginning to surround the two. The marines had witnessed Hunter shooting the people from earlier and they were determined to take him down.

"Lower your weapons and raise your hands up into the air!" The marines ordered while aiming their rifles at the two.

"W-Why are you pointing your guns at us? Didn't you see those guys try to attack me earlier?" Corona questioned the marines' actions. "They would have killed me if not for Hunter. He shot them in self defense."

"You two brought all these animals to the settlement and now look at what's happening!" The marines focused their attention onto the chaos occurring around them before returning their focus onto Corona and Hunter. "You two are under arrest! Now lower your weapon and raise your hands into the air or else we will be forced to use brute force!"

Hunter hesitated for a moment. He didn't feel right with complying with the marines' orders. He could see that even if he did lower his weapon, the marines would still use brute force against him. He then began to contemplate whether or not he should just take his chances and take down the marine officers. But before he could make his choice, Teal dropped down from the sky and landed in between the marines, immediately taking them down with a fury of swift kicks.

"Teal!" Corona was shocked to see Teal take down the marines in a matter of seconds. Though the feeling of shock instantly passed once she remembered that this girl took down a tiger earlier.

Teal simply stared at Corona and Hunter for a moment before she focused her attention back onto the the unconscious marine. The little girl used one arm to grab onto the collar of one of the marines while raising the other arm to deliver the final blow. Though her attempts were foiled once Corona grabbed onto her arm.

"No Teal! You'll only make things worse if you kill these men!" Corona stated to Teal before the little girl shrugged her off and went on to continue battling the people and marines of the settlement with the rest of the animals.

"We can't stop this anymore, Corona. Though I appreciate that I tried to prevent all this bloodshed, we have no other choice but to evacuate the island with the others." Hunter sighed.

"I understand." Corona frowned while nodding. Even though she wanted to stop the fight, her mission was to find the missing marine and return to the base. And she had definitely found him, so now was the time to leave before anything else went wrong. "But can we at least take Teal along with us? I don't want to see her die here."

"I'll see what I can do. But I won't force her to come along with us if she doesn't want to." Hunter said as he looked ahead to the ongoing battle amongst the two factions.

His eyes scanned across the battlefield in search of Teal. It took some serious will power for him to ignore the cries of pain from the humans and the animals as their battle only continued to rage on with no sign of stopping any time soon. Once the marine lieutenant spotted the little girl, he began to rush over to her but then skidded to a halt once a group of animals were suddenly launched into the air. Hunter was taken aback by the sudden sight before he finally snapped back to his senses and dove out of the way before he was crushed under the weight of the animals.

After pushing himself back up onto his feet, Hunter looked to the dead animals spread out across the ground before him. There were several slash marks across their bodies which worried the marine lieutenant greatly. He quickly looked back to see Teal down on all fours like a feline, arching her back and hissing as she glared at Marine Commander Kramer. "W-Who is that?" Hunter muttered, immediately taking notice of the bloody boomerang on his back.

"A boomerang?" Corona blinked a few times to make sure that they were still working properly. She wanted to make sure if she truly did witness a large boomerang kill those animals in a matter of seconds.

"Commander Kramer!" The marines of the settlement cheered in excitement upon the arrival of their superior officer. Now that their strongest member was here alongside them, their overall morale was going through the roof.

"Sorry that I'm late." Kramer apologized to the people of the settlement before he focused his attention to Teal who continued to glare him. "I assume that you're the leader of the animals here?" He raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

"Commander Kramer! That's the girl that killed two members from our squad!" One of the marines spotted to Teal.

"Is that so?" Kramer's eyebrows furrowed upon hearing the bad news. He then let out a sigh as he grabbed hold of his boomerang, preparing to launch it once again. "So you're the girl that killed two men from my squad? Very well then, I won't show any mercy just because you're a girl!" He shouted loudly as he quickly hurled his boomerang towards Teal.

With the nimbleness of a feline, Teal leaped high up into the air in order to evade the marine commander's boomerang.

"Well now, you seem to be quite…feral." Kramer commented on Teal's strange movements as he looked up to see her running across the rooftops of the nearby buildings.

Since she believed that the marine commander was now defenseless, Teal jumped off the building with her right arm pulled back, preparing to maul Kramer with her sharp fingernails. Acting quickly, the marine commander crossed his arms above his head and endured the swift attacks to his forearms before he spun around and landed a back kick to Teal's torso; sending the girl flying back. A small smirk of triumph made its way onto his face as he watched the boomerang he tossed earlier began to make its way back towards him. And with the speed that it was going, it would easily slice the unsuspecting Teal in half. Unfortunately for him Teal had a sixth sense when it came to danger. The little girl simply arched her back far enough to allow the boomerang to fly by right under her back into the hands of Kramer.

As the marine commander slid back a few feet upon catching his boomerang, Teal kicked off the ground and rushed towards him. Kramer's eyes widened in shock at how fast the little girl was running at him. In a blink of an eye the little girl was already in front of him and before he had any time to react she had already rammed her head straight into his stomach; nearly knocking the wind out of him. The marines all gasped in horror as the marine commander was sent crashing into a nearby building.

"Incredible! Teal surely is strong to be taking on a marine commander like this!" Corona couldn't help but smile. Despite the fact that the fight between the two wasn't helping the situation a single bit, she couldn't help but be impressed by Teal's skills in battle.

"Teal is probably the only person on this island that can defeat that man." Hunter said. "She has consumed a devil fruit that allows her to memorize and mimic the abilities and traits of animals."

"Memorize and mimic abilities and traits of animals?" Corona repeated as she looked to Hunter for more information.

"You saw earlier how agile she was in evading the boomerang correct? She was most likely mimicking some kind of feline. And once she rammed into the marine commander, she was most likely mimicking a rhino." Hunter explained.

"That explains how she was able to confront that tiger earlier today then. She was mimicking it." Corona nodded in understanding before she focused back onto the battle.

"Well that caught me off guard." Kramer groaned as he sat back up and then stood up to his feet. "I don't know what kind of devil fruit you've consumed. But your strength increased briefly for a moment there when you rammed into me." The marine commander said while dusting himself off.

After seeing the marine commander stand back up to his feet and dust himself off, Teal rushed for Kramer at a high speed once again. She was preparing to ram into him once again, though this time the marine commander was ready for her attack. He simply placed his large boomerang in front of him and held onto it firmly as the little girl rammed into it with the force and strength of a rhino again. There was a brief power struggle between the two; neither of them was planning on giving up no matter what. Kramer had his feet planted onto the ground but he was still being forced back by Teal's strength.

The marines watching the power struggle between the two of them began to show expressions of concern for their commander. Upon noticing their expressions and not wanting to lose face, Kramer simply stepped to the side and allowed gravity to take effect on Teal. Once the little girl lost her balance and fell flat on her face, Kramer quickly raised his boomerang above his head, preparing to deliver the finishing blow to Teal while her back was turned like some kind of animal.

Before he could finish her off, Teal quickly whipped around and lunged for him, sinking her sharp teeth into the commander's arm. Hollering in intense pain, Kramer slammed Teal onto the ground in order to get it to release him. He then clutched his wounded arm, the blood instantly seeping through the sleeve of his shirt. The moment Kramer took his eyes off of Teal; the little girl swung her leg outward and landed a roundhouse kick across his face, sending him sprawling across the ground back over to his marine squad.

"Commander Kramer!" The marines rushed to their commanding officer's aid and helped him back up to his feet. Before they could check to see if he was okay, they were immediately brushed off.

"Don't worry about me. Keep focused on the other animals and with protecting the people of this island." Kramer ordered as he glared at Teal. "You're very annoying you know that? You haven't spoken a word since we began fighting and I cannot get a full on grasp of your devil fruit abilities. But no matter, I'm through holding back now." He quickly hurled his boomerang towards Teal once again. Already knowing what to do, Teal jumped into the air and evaded the boomerang with much ease. Though this is what Kramer wanted her to do. The marine commander took advantage of the opportunity and leaped into the air towards Teal with his arm pulled back. Teal prepared herself for the oncoming attack by crossing her arms in front of her. This proved to be a mistake for Kramer wasn't aiming for her face but rather her side. The marine commander quickly spun around and performed a swift spinning hook kick, sending Teal crashing down onto the ground upon the kick making contact with her side.

Once she was down, Kramer landed onto the ground next to her and pinned her down by grabbing onto her neck. He then checked to see if his boomerang was going to come back to him, and it did. The marine commander caught his boomerang and then held it inches away from Teal's face in order to get her to stop struggling.

"I'm not sure if you can understand me or not, but you're under arrest for the murder of my men." Kramer said sternly as he released his hold on Teal's neck in order to reach for the sea stone handcuffs in his jacket. Teal quickly used the opportunity to launch her legs forward and landed a strong kick against Kramer's torso, sending him reeling back a few feet in order to give herself some space to stand up. The moment that she stood up, she gritted her teeth and clutched her side in pain upon hearing a snap.

"Damn it. That kick earlier managed to break a few of her ribs." Hunter stated while balling his hands into tight fists. "She won't be able to fight on much longer like this."

"What should we do then? If we help her, we'll be criminals for fighting against fellow marines." Corona stated.

"And if we don't help. The odds of all these animals getting slaughtered by the end of this will heighten." Hunter sighed.

"Impressive…an eye for an eye, right?" Kramer grinned while wiping away the blood from the corner of his mouth. The kick that he had received from Teal had broken a few of his ribs as well. But this wouldn't change a thing for him. He took notice of how Teal looked to her side in confusion; she must not have understood what Kramer had done to her. "Perhaps now you'll go down quietly right?" He assumed before he rushed for Teal once again. Once he was within range, he began to swing his boomerang around as if it were some kind of sword.

"She's beginning to struggle now." Hunter said as he watched how sloppy Teal's movements were in evading Kramer's boomerang. "She won't be able to hold her own against the commander for much longer. This is her first time fighting someone of his caliber."

"Despite having a few broken ribs you're still as agile and nimble as ever." Kramer chuckled as he continued to swing his boomerang around like a sword, watching in mild amusement as Teal barely managed to evade it which each step that she took. Once he performed an outward swing with the boomerang, Teal ducked down onto the ground and watched it go right over her head. She then leaned forward and performed a quick handstand before she launched her legs upward and landed a double kick on Kramer's chin. Upon receiving the damage from such a fierce kick, the marine commander was flung into the air, giving Teal the opportunity to deliver the finishing blow to him.

She leaped high into the air after the airborne marine commander with her hands linked together. As she went to slam her hands down onto Kramer, the marine commander quickly came back to his senses and used his reflexes to catch Teal's hands before she could land the attack on him. Now that he had her where he wanted her, he spun around real fast until he believed that he had gained enough momentum to make Teal dizzy. He then released his hold on her and watched the little girl crash down onto the ground.

"I believe that this battle has gone on long enough." Kramer landed on top of Teal and then placed her hands behind her back before proceeded to place the sea stone handcuffs on her. "This is our victory." The marine commander cheered loudly with his subordinates soon following his example. Unfortunately for them, just because that Teal had been defeated, it didn't mean that the other animals were done. Upon seeing their leader get defeat, the animals were even more determined to take down the humans on the island.

"I-It's not over yet!" Hunter shouted before the animals continued to attack the marines in the settlement.

"Why are they still attacking? Usually when the leader of the pack is defeated, the others surrender as well or at least retreat." Corona gasped.

"Damn animals don't know when it's time to quit." Hunter grabbed Teal and then tossed her over to a few marine officers close to him. "Take her and put her in one of the cages. I'll remain here and help deal with the rest of these animals."

"Yes sir!" The marines quickly saluted before they rushed off to put the now struggling Teal in one of the cages as if she were one of the animals. The animals took notice of this and some proceeded to lunge for the marines while their backs were turned.

"L-Look out!" Corona alerted the marines. But before the marines could turn their backs to see what was coming for them, a large net appeared out of nowhere and trapped the attacking animals inside. Once Corona got a better look at the net, she found it strange that the net was blue. A bright smile soon appeared on her face once she realized that the net was made of hair. "Jays!" She followed the trail of the hair and saw Jays making her way into the settlement.

"Corona? You're alright!" Jays smiled before she swung her head around in a circular motion, twirling the trapped animals above her head for a short period of time before she undid the net and watched the animals go flying out from the settlement.

"And it seems that she's found the missing marine." Koga said before he used his katana to cut down the animals that attempted to strike Jays while her back was turned. "You're Lieutenant Hunter Bradford right?" He turned to Corona and Hunter.

"Correct." Hunter nodded.

"Good. Now that we've found the both of you we can finally leave this island once and for all." Jays smiled as she and Koga walked over to their fellow marines.

"We need to go after Teal first. We can't leave her here." Corona said.

"Teal?" Jays and Koga raised an eyebrow in confusion. But before Corona could open her mouth to answer, a jaguar lunged for the group of marines while their backs were turned. Before any of them had any time to react with the sudden appearance of the savage animal, a loud gunshot could be heard before the jaguar dropped dead before their very eyes.

"Where…where did that bullet…" Hunter estimated the trajectory of the bullet and followed it back to the person who pulled the trigger. His eyes widened in horror as he saw Lucy and his son Miles rushing towards him. "M-Miles?" He gasped in shock as he immediately took notice of the gun in his hand, the smoke rising from out the gun barrel.

"Dad? Dad! I finally found you!" Miles' face beamed in sheer happiness upon saving his father's life. He quickly dove into the arms of his father and hugged him tightly, not planning on letting him go any time soon.

"Lucy? Miles? What are you two doing off the ship?" Jays was outraged at how those two disobeyed her direct order.

"It's a long story! But we had a good reason to come over here like this!" Lucy said in a panic.

"Miles! What are you doing here? Who gave you that gun?" Hunter was distraught at the sudden appearance of his son. Though he was grateful for him saving his life, he was now in a state of panic once he began to hear the animals coming towards them, growling, roaring, and bearing their fangs. They had witnessed Miles kill one of their own and they were determined to exact their revenge. Realizing the danger that they were in, Hunter stood in front of his group of marines and tried his best to talk down the approaching animals. But they wouldn't listen to him; they were "saying" things that not even Hunter himself would dare say aloud. Once a wolf lunged for Miles, Hunter acted on instinct and used his rifle to shoot the attacking wolf through the head, ending its life in a matter of seconds.

It was now final to the animals, Hunter was now their enemy. Upon witnessing him and his son kill two of their fellow animals, they were certain that it was now a mistake to ever trust humans ever again. All at once, the animals surrounded the small group of marines, preparing to strike at any given moment.

"Hold on a second! I didn't mean to do it! I was just protecting my son!" Hunter pleaded with the animals to stop one last time. The last thing he wanted to do was kill another one of his friends.

"It's pointless trying to talk them down. They're too focused on revenge that they're tuning everything out until they exact their against one another!" Koga frowned, his hand tightly gripped on the hilt of his katana, ready to strike at any given moment.

"We need to get out of here now. We've already accomplished our mission so staying here any longer will be a waste of precious time." Jays stated; her hair began to form into the shape of a fist.

"We're going to have to cut through the settlement though. We were attacked by the other marines earlier so we moved the ship to a different location." Lucy stated while gripping onto her chain flail. "I'll show you the way once the path has been cleared."

"Consider it done." Jays swung her head around in a circular motion and knocked back all the surrounding animals. The moment that the path was clear, Lucy led everyone through the raging battlefield in order to reach their marine ship so that they could make their escape. Once they were in the clear from the settlement, Hunter took a moment to stop and look in the direction of the settlement. Tears of sadness began to run down his face, he felt utterly helpless that he couldn't do anything to help the animals that had saved him from the brink of death a month ago.

"Forgive me, all of you." Hunter bowed his head in the direction of the settlement before he ran off with the others back to the marine ship where they all sailed away from the island once and for all, leaving everything else behind to settle itself out.

"Is this a good thing? Leaving the island and the people behind like this?" Corona asked as the island began to get smaller and smaller in the distance.

"We found our missing marine lieutenant and we're bringing him back to the island. Our original mission has been completed, Corona." Koga stated before he went back to his room.

"I agree. I'm not sure what was going on, but today was a good day." Wyatt smiled as he walked over to the railing of the ship and leaned against it. "Though I'm saying that now, why do I feel like such crap after completing this mission?"

"Perhaps you still feel a bit squeamish after seeing your own blood awhile ago." Wyatt's face went crimson in a matter of seconds, feeling embarrassed that Lucy had brought up that incident.

"Oh shut up!" Wyatt pouted before he disappeared from his spot. Corona chuckled at the interaction between the two before she looked over to Hunter and Miles.

"Dad, it's so good to finally see you after so long." Miles hugged onto his father. He was overwhelmed with joy that his father could now return home once and for all.

"It's good to see you too, Miles. But promise me that you'll never come along on missions like these ever again." Hunter said sternly while taking the gun out from his son's hand. "You could have really been hurt on that island or even worse. You should have stayed home with your mother and kept her company while I was away."

"But you were missing for so long and none of the marines were doing anything to help find you. And mom was so worried about you…I had to do something…" Miles looked down to his feet; he could already feel the tears coming.

"You snuck on board a marine ship sailing towards an island filled with wild animals and left your mother home alone. Do you understand what could have happened if you wound up getting hurt? Your mother never would've forgiven me if I had allowed that to happen." Hunter said.

"I'm sorry dad. I promise that I won't ever do anything like this again." Miles began to sob slightly.

"You bet you won't. Once we return to the island, you're grounded for a month mister." Hunter smiled as he removed his hat and placed it on his son's head. "But until then, let's celebrate my return with a party."

"Yeah!" Miles wiped away his tears and smiled brightly.

"A party actually does sound nice right about now. But first I must administer firm punishment to your son, Hunter." Miles began to tremble in fear as Jays' hair began to waver around the air as a dark aura surrounded her. "I gave him a direct order not to leave the ship ever again and yet he thought it was a good idea to disobey me."

"I-I'm sorry! But I had to help Lucy!" Miles cried out as he hid behind his father for protection. Once Jays' hair maneuvered around the Lieutenant and went straight after Miles, the little boy screamed in terror as he ran around the ship in a desperate attempt to escape punishment.

"Despite everything that happened, I guess it all turned out okay in the end." Lucy smiled as she walked over to Corona.

"Okay for us at least." Corona looked back to the island one last time before it was finally out of her line of sight. She let out a small sigh of frustration as she began to wonder what was going to happen to the animals and Teal now.

Meanwhile back on the jungle island, after hours of nonstop fighting and senseless bloodshed, the marines all cheered in triumph as they had finally defeated all of the animals and locked the unconscious ones in steel cages. They then began to load the caged animals onto their ship as they prepared to sail away from the island since their mission was now complete.

"This concludes the end of our mission, Mister Reginald. You can send our reward money directly to our base once you return to your kingdom." Kramer said as he shook Reginald's hand.

"Thank you so much for helping us rid this island of these beasts once and for all, Commander Kramer. You and your men have my respect." Reginald smiled as he looked over to the marines lugging the steel cage containing a weakened Teal. She was slumped up against the back of the cage, struggling with little power she had left to escape. "What are you going to do with these animals and that girl?" He inquired.

"The animals will be dropped off on some other island while the girl will come back with us to our base. We'll issue out some kind of missing child's report and hope that her parents come by and pick her up. Until then, we'll try to get her out of her feral state of mind." Kramer replied before he turned to his ship upon hearing his men call him, they were ready to leave the island.

"It was a pleasure seeing your men fight so bravely against those beasts, Commander Kramer. I sure do hope that you come to our aid again if we ever need it." Reginald waved the marine commander goodbye as he walked over to his ship and finally set sail away from the island back over to his home base. Once the island was out of his sight, Kramer let out a small sigh of exhaustion as he walked over to the ship's doctor.

"So tell me doctor, how many men have we lost during this mission?" Kramer asked.

"After taking a head count, we've lost about twenty men." The doctor replied.

"Son of a bitch." Kramer cursed slightly while clutching his hand into a tight fist. "I guess we'll have to send letters of condolences to their families once we return to the base."

"That would be best." The doctor nodded before he noticed his superior officer clutching his ribs. "Suffered a few broken ribs now have you? Come inside my cabin and I'll patch you up."

"I'll come in there last doctor. There are plenty of men here on this ship that have been wounded far worse than I have." Kramer sighed as he watched a few wounded officers limp their way into the doctor's cabin.

"How humble of you. Very well then, I'll tend to you in a few hours Commander." The doctor chuckled as he walked into his cabin to deal with the injured officers.

"Commander, come here and take a look at this." One of the marine officers called over to Kramer. The marine commander walked over to his subordinate and was immediately handed a pair of binoculars. "Take a look at this Commander. There's a ship over there."

"A ship?" Kramer held up the binoculars and looked through them to see an orange colored ship with black strips going across the sides. He then looked to the figurehead of the ship which was a roaring tiger with sharp fangs. A small shiver went down the commander's spine. He knew that there was only one crew in the world with a ship like this. But in order to confirm his suspicions, he needed to look to the sails to see the Jolly Roger.

Kramer focused on the sails to see the Jolly Roger of a heart with two daggers going through it. That had settled it for the marine commander. He was so stunned upon seeing that ship that his jaw dropped and he dropped the binoculars on the deck of the ship.

"Commander Kramer! Those are pirates! We have to capture them!" One of the marines said.

"I don't think that they've spotted us just yet. If we can get within firing range, we can sink them to the bottom of the sea before they even know it." Another one of the marines smiled, obviously liking the sound of the idea.

"We need to get out of here right now!" Kramer ordered his men. "Someone take hold of the wheel and steer us away from this area right now!"

"What's wrong Commander? Why do you seem so worried all of a sudden?" The marines were confused by their commander's sudden change in attitude.

"That ship doesn't belong to any regular pirate crew! That ship belongs to one of the…" Kramer stopped in mid-sentence once he caught a glimpse of an unfamiliar person on his ship. He looked over to the railing of the ship to see a man sitting on the railing of the ship, a book propped open in his hands. The man was rather tall compared to the average human; he has jaw length blonde hair and green eyes. He is currently wearing a black top hat, a red coat with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, a black v-neck shirt with a few gold chain necklaces worn over his neck, cargo pants with a red sash tied around his waist, and black boots.

"W-Who are you?" The marines were alerted by the sudden appearance of the strange man. They all aimed their swords and rifles and pointed it at the strange man. "What are you doing here on our ship? How did you get here without us noticing you?"

"Finish that sentence." Was all the man said as he flipped to the next page in his book.

"What?" The marines exchanged confused glances with each other as the man raised his hand and pointed to the marine commander.

"You seem to be the only one here that has done their homework. Why don't you finish your sentence and tell everyone who I am." The man looked up from his book for a brief second and stared into the eyes of the visibly frightened commander.

"Y-You're Bourne. You're the first mate of the Carnage pirates." Kramer frowned as he gripped onto the handle of his boomerang, contemplating on whether or not if he should attempt to fight this man or not.

"He's a pirate? Then that settles it, Commander! We have to capture this man!" The marines frowned.

"We can't! This man is the first mate to one of the Royal Shichibukai! This man's bounty of 130 million beli's has been frozen! We can't capture this man no matter what!" Kramer warned his subordinates.

"What? Are you serious?" The marines aboard the ship gasped in shock. They had no idea that there were pirates in the world that couldn't be captured. The moment that the marines lowered their weapons, a gust of wind blew by and rendered all the marines on the ship besides Kramer unconscious.

"W-What the hell was that? What did you do to them?" Kramer was shocked to see his men rendered unconscious in a matter of seconds. "What kind of devil fruit have you consumed?" He roared loudly as he hurled his boomerang towards the pirate. By the time he released the boomerang from his grasp, Bourne was already behind him. He then quickly whipped around and threw a swift punch at the pirate, aiming for his face.

"Too slow commander." Bourne taunted the marine as he caught Kramer's fist within the palm of his hand with much ease. The pirate looked up slightly past the marine commander to see the boomerang coming back towards them. A sinister grin etched onto his face as he grabbed Kramer by the neck and held him up, lifting off the ship and using him as a human shield.

Kramer let out a loud roar of agonizing pain once the boomerang lodged itself into his back, piercing through his spine and immediately paralyzing him from the waist down. But it didn't stop there. Bourne then slammed the marine commander onto the deck of the ship, causing the boomerang to lodge itself farther into his body.

"Now then commander, you're going to talk to me for whatever time you have left in this world." Bourne smiled as he placed his foot on the marine commander's neck. "About a month ago one of our subordinates was captured along with a very important piece of merchandise that our captain wants. We've come to believe that your branch is the only one capable of accomplishing such a task. So be smart about this and tell me where exactly our devil fruit is."

"I…I have no idea…what you're talking about…" Kramer coughed up a moderate amount of blood before he spit some on Bourne's foot. "And even…if I did…I would never…tell you anything…"

"That's a shame. Thanks to you not being very cooperative here today, I'm going to kill every single marine on this ship without mercy." Bourne said before he raised his foot and then promptly killed the marine commander by slamming his foot onto his face, crushing his skull indefinitely.

"Oi, Bourne!" The pirate slowly turned around to see his pirate ship stopping next to the marine ship. A few pirates had already boarded the ship to witness the murder of Kramer.

"Did you find out if their branch had the devil fruit or not?" The pirates asked.

"No I didn't. This marine proved to be as stubborn as the previous ones that we attacked." Bourne replied. "This is the tenth marine ship that we've attacked this month. Eventually our position here will be compromised and our operation will be foiled."

"What should we do then?" One of the pirates asked.

"Let's head back to Naikawa island and pay Mister Oswald a little visit. Perhaps he has the Intel that we need in finding the devil fruit." Bourne grinned before he ordered the crew to ransack the marine ship.
