AN: Hello once again hope you've all been enjoying the more frequent updates I've been working hard to make up for lost time and keep progressing the story while keeping it entertaining. Anyway this is a shorter chapter just a bit of fun and filler with hopefully a bit of a shock and twist anyway I've talked enough so yeah…

Chapter 14

I wake up to sun peeking through the windows of my house back in Ponyvile, it's been about a year since I awoke in this time and I think I've finally settled in pretty good. The training of Equestria's armies was proceeding ahead of schedule and the commanders were at the point where they could oversee the training most of the time which gave me more time to train with Spike and practice more forbidden spells. At the least we still have 2 years before Zenith is revived at the most we have 4 though I'm confident with the way things are going Equestria's army will be more than strong enough to take on Zenith and his troops. Yet it's not the strength of the army I'm most worried about it's the size Equestria's full army is only about 4,000 troops which I guess makes sense considering how little conflict this country has had. I've calculated the Zenith at the most will only have a few hundred dragons in his army but they will all most likely be mid to high level dragons which means our army would almost need to double in size before we could fight on level ground even with the combined power of myself, Celestia, Luna and the elements of Harmony the way our numbers are now we just don't stand a chance.

Speaking of the elements as I go to sit up a hear rather loud snoring to my left and right, I scratch my hair which I need cut as it's gotten to the point where it falls past my upper back. I blast the covers into the air and see a passed out Vinyl and Rainbow sleeping in very unlady like poses muzzles half open snoring loud enough to make the dead roll over. It seems that Pinkie Pie had to leave town a few days ago to go visit some of her family, so Rainbow decided to take her spot for the day. Both Rainbow and Vinyl came crashing in my door at exactly 12:01 demanding that I go out with them to one of Vinyl's gigs which I was planning to go to already since I needed to unwind. The night started out great I had a few drinks danced with Rainbow and Vinyl you know the usual everything was fine until Cloud Chaser decided that she was gonna get a piece of me whether Rainbow and Vinyl liked it or not…which as you can guess they didn't.

Cloud Chaser managed to get a dance out me which wasn't anything unusual I could dance with whoever I wanted I just couldn't fuck them anymore according to my girls I already had more than enough. Anyway what started with a dance ended up with Cloud Chaser trying to pull out my dick when she backed me into a corner with very vigorous twerking. Rainbow who was coming out of the little mares room saw what was happening and hit Cloud Chaser in the back of the head with a cider mug yelling for her to find her own colt. Cloud Chaser pretty much told Rainbow fuck off and grabbed my package through my pants making Rainbow drag her off me by her mane of course Flitter jumped in to help Cloud Chaser making Vinyl jump in to help Rainbow. What happened next was one of the worst ass whooping's I ever seen Rainbow speared Cloud Chaser out of the door while Vinyl threw Flitter into a large punch bowel. Once Rainbow came back in looking no worse for wear I thought it was all over until somepony threw a chair and all hell broke lose as a bar wide brawl broke out ( kudos if you can figure out where that's from). Yeah I probably could've stopped the fight but by this point I was too busy laughing my ass off. Don't worry I didn't get away scout free Rainbow and Vinyl got me back pretty good after some hot foreplay involving me giving them both head for almost an hour apiece they decided they didn't need to return the favor instead going to sleep leaving me with a bad case of blue balls.

Seeing the two of them were still sleep even after I blasted the blankets off I decided a little pay back was in order. With a few words I cast a spell creating a thin layer of ice over the floor of the entire house so it was impossible to do anything without slipping and busting your ass (which I learned the hard way after deciding to test it good thing I knew a friction spell that would let me walk around normally) after that I went and found the largest tub of whip cream in the world a gift from Pinkie Pie for who knows what, it was about the size of a kiddie pool and I kept it in the cellar having absolutely no idea for what to do with it. So after a quick trip to grab it and place it at the bottom of the stairs my plan was almost complete I grabbed a bottle of chocolate syrup from the fridge and mixed the whole thing with the pool of whip cream. Now I just had to wake those two up and I knew just the way I went to the bathroom and filled the tub to the brim with warm water. Once that was done my diabolical plan was complete. Making sure they were still sleep I tip toed into the room and chanted a few words, the water in the tub instantly teleported and appeared over Vinyl and Rainbow I let it hover over them for a few seconds before releasing the magic and letting it crash down on them. Both of them flailed around scrambling and rolling out of the bed onto the floor where they struggled to stand only to keep busting their ass.

I doubled over laughing my ass off watching the two tomboys older tomboys fail hilariously. The two of them finally realized I was getting them back for last night and decided to come after me busting their flanks the whole time. Letting them chase me I ran out of the room jumping down the stairs making sure to avoid the pool of whip cream and chocolate syrup. The girls however weren't so lucky as they tried to stop seeing the pool I was standing behind only for their momentum to carry them down the stair crashing into the pool. I fell back onto the couch laughing at the top of my lungs.

"What the hay was this really called for" Vinyl said popping up out of the whip cream.

"Pay back's a bitch isn't it" I laugh.

"Yeah it is" Rainbow groaned before she turned to look at Vinyl and a wicked grin crossed their faces.

"Oh fuck" was all I had time to say before they jumped me covering me in whip cream and chocolate of course that playful fun turned into a foreplay session which turned into a hump session so….

One sticky hump session later.

"Oh man that was great" Vinyl panted somehow we had all ended up in the tub of whip cream that somehow felt stickier than when we started.

"Yeah it was let's go again" Rainbow yelled jumping on top of me.

Another sticky hump session later.

After a long hot shower I left my house leaving a thoroughly fucked Rainbow and Vinyl pass out on the floor still covered in whip cream. I'm sure they'll clean up once they wake up, right now I'm headed over to the spa to get this rats nest I call hair taken care of. I walk in and Aloe and Lotus welcome me with a smile I've been coming here every weekend to get my hair washed and every couple months to get it cut since I found out that even after 5,000 years I still can't properly manage it.

"Sup I'm here for my usual cut" I sigh scratching my scalp.

"Of course it's always a pleasure to see you after all who would have thought Equestria's strongest soldier couldn't maintain his mane properly" Lotus giggles.

"Shampoo my only weakness" I say dramatically.

"Right this way Deidrick" Aloe says leading me back into the shampoo room as I like to call it, which is just a room full of the hair dresser chairs that are bolted in front deep sinks. I take my usual seat at the far end even though there's no pony else here I lean my head back waiting for Aloe to come and work her magic. After grabbing a few things from other stations Aloe trots up behind me taking her hooves through my hair a few times before clicking her tongue in disgust.

"What did you put in your hair maple syrup this mess is terrible" Aloe says starting the sink.

"You can blame Rainbow and Vinyl for that" I grunt as I feel her start to roughly rinse my hair scrubbing my scalp free of lose dirt.

"Ohhh I'm guessing you had an eventful morning" Lotus giggles, I just grunt again in response letting her work her magic on my hair. "Well at least you didn't do anything last night" Lotus says grabbing a bottle of shampoo.

"Why's that" I ask curiously.

"Because I really don't like being kept up all night hearing mares screaming your name from halfway across town…especially when it's been a while since I've gotten any" Lotus sighed tearfully.

"Sorry to hear that…hey you know what there's a young sergeant by the name of Iron Flakes he might only be a year or two younger than you I think I can arrange for an exercise in Everfree that way I can introduce you two I'm sure you'll hit it off" I say closing my eyes and enjoying the feeling of my hair being scrubbed clean from all the sticky sugar from the whip cream and syrup that had latched onto it.

"Really you would do that for me" Lotus said shocked.

"Sure I mean most of the ponies here have helped me out in some shape or form besides having a training exercise would be a good excuse to get out of Canterlot for a few more days" I sigh.

"What are the princesses running you ragged" Lotus said deviously.

"Not even close, though they can be a handful at times…it's just all the damn higher up's trying to get in my good graces that pisses me off" I growled slightly.

"You didn't have to deal with anything like that in your time" Lotus asked curiously.

"Yeah kinda but back in my time when they tried I just threatened to cut their head off and that usually got them to fuck off but I doubt I would want to do the same thing in this time" I twitch a bit as Lotus starts to roughly rinse my hair again.

"Yeah I don't think so either…and I guessing that if you're talking about higher up's you've just have met prince Blueblood" Lotus said grabbing a pair of scissors.

At the mention of his name my power spiked for a seconds shattering several mirrors. "Ohh yes I've met that arrogant little dick fuck-tard he's so fucking cocky you'd think he shit out gold and diamonds…I'll pay for that by the way" I say calming down.

"Yeah I know can't you ever come in here without breaking something geez the last time you came here you broke four sinks when I asked if you ever licked Celestia's Pl-" Lotus found herself suddenly unable to talk as I used a binding spell to seal her lips together.

"How about we don't talk about that" I said with a creepy voice as cold as ice. Lotus nodded up and down vigorously and I released the binding spell.

"Someone's sensitive today…anyway how short do you want it" Lotus scoffed.

"about neck length" I say relaxing again knowing that Lotus had everything taken care of.

The conversation ended as Lotus focused on getting my hair just the length I liked it. After about 20 minutes of careful snipping and trimming Lotus put her scissors down examining her own work with and approving nod "there we go all down I have to say I think you look nicer with your hair loosely hanging than when it's all spiky and crazy" Lotus admits.

"Hmm" I stand up to look in one of the few mirrors I didn't shatter my hair was just a little longer than when I had first woken up here since it was wet it hung limply down framing my face I guess how some could say it looked better like this but…it just wasn't my style. I released a blast of static that made my hair become its usual wild and messy self. "Ahh much better" I grin while Lotus shakes her head. Now that we're done we walk back to the front desk where Aloe is waiting looking bored.

"You two sure took your sweet time hope you weren't having too much fun without me" Aloe said giving Lotus and eye a curious look.

"Calm down you perv I just washed and cut his hair" Lotus sighed.

"Mmhmm sure you did" Aloe said sarcastically.

"Seriously nothing happened now here this is for the hair wash and cut" I said placing a small bag of bits on the table "And this is for all the mirrors I broke" I said adding another larger bag of bits before heading out the door.

"So did you two Buck" Aloe asked. Lotus just rolled her eyes and sat down behind the counter to wait for more customers.

Now that my hair was back to the way I liked it was time to grab Spike from Rarity's. I just hope they're not in the middle of anything because last time interrupted them Rarity threw fucking Stitching needles in my eyes when I open the door…(I know right it seems a litter excessive I mean yeah it only took my eyes like a minute to heal but seriously fucking stitching needles) my eyes twitched as I approached her boutique remembering the mind numbing pain they had gone through last time. I knocked on the outside door a few times after I sniffed the air to make sure the pheromone levels weren't spiked indicating various stimulating activities…luckily they weren't.

"Come in dear" came Rarity's voice from inside. I slowly push open the door after casting a deflection spell on my eyes. Once its open I see Rarity humming while knitting something I can't really recognize Spike is wrapped around in a way that tail sits across her stomach while his head rest on her thigh so she was using the bulk of his body as a back rest. There was something about his position that scratched at the back of my mind dragons like demons were very protective of their mates yet there was something off that I just couldn't put my finger on.

"Hey love birds sorry interrupt your cuddling time but it's almost time for us to head back to Canterlot" I say leaning against the door frame.

"Aww already" Rarity pouted as Spike shifted so he could pick her up and set her on the plush couch in the corner.

"Don't worry I'll be back soon" Spike said nuzzling Rarity who nuzzled him back lovingly.

"I know Spikey Wikey you have to go so you can train to save the world" Rarity sighed understandingly. I watched them as they nuzzled each other lovingly and for a brief moment I felt envious of those two and the love they shared. I wasn't jealous by any means not when I have 11 of the most beautiful mares in Equestria in my heard it was just of all the emotions Demons could feel love was not among them. It's something that years of being breed for war will do to a race I'm not sure if the dragons back in my time were the same way since I never really asked one. I know I cared deeply for all of them and was content with the ways things were but I honestly wouldn't know what to do if any of them confessed love for me after all I couldn't lie and tell them I felt that way in return when it wasn't an emotion I was capable of feeling.

Deep in thought I didn't even know Spike was ready to go until he cleared his throat loudly. "I guess you're ready now huh" I turn to leave out the door with Spike when curiosity gets the best of me. "Rarity what are you knitting anyway" I ask.

Rarity just shakes her head giggling "It's a surprise dear".

"Whatever come on Lover Drake let's go" I sigh taking off my shirt I sprint forward a bit before my wings burst out my back and I take to the sky with Spike right behind me. I angle myself towards Canterlot finding a nice thermal to ride I ease into a leisurely glide. Spike glides next to me in silence for a few minutes before I decided to break it.

"I'm envious of you…you know that" I say over the wind.

"What seriously why" Spike says confused.

"The love you and Rarity feel for one another" I say simply.

"What…" Spike says even more confused.

"Demons aren't capable of feeling love only compassion and contentment to a certain extent" I say as a fact.

"Why is that" Spike asked.

"Love is the emotion that most often leads to betrayal for instant back in my time if I had loved someone and they were captured by dragons I would do anything to get them back even if that meant betraying my entire nation that is why love is an emotion that I can't feel" I say solemnly.

"Is it something you chose not to feel or is it something your just incapable of" Spike asked.

"Years upon years of war being born just to fight and die I think nature just decided that love was no longer needed in the world I lived in" I sigh

"Wow that's terrible…do the girls know" Spike asked. I shook my head as I hadn't planned on telling any of them if I could help it.

"I think you should tell them it might just be a mental block something that still there it's just been repressed for so long you forgot about it" Spike said.

"Huh you know what that could be the case…when the hell did you become so smart" I asked teasing him a bit.

"I've been doing a lot of reading lately" Spike admitted. "So is that what was bothering you…you kinda seemed out of it earlier" Spike said.

"Oh you noticed that, well yeah that was one of the things" I admit.

"What was the other thing" Spike asked.

"It's nothing after all there's nothing that can be done about it anyway" I sigh.

"You never know I just might have the answer your looking for" Spike said a hint of smug in his voice.

"I doubt it" I say blankly.

"Okay I'll make you a deal I'll tell you Rarity's little secret if you tell me what's on your mind" Spike said offering a deal. I think about it for a second before realizing what harm could it do in telling him and it would be worth it to get one over on little miss knitting needle throwing princess.

"Sure what the hell what's her secret" I ask agreeing to the deal.

"Well…."

One blushing dragon explanation later

"RARITY'S PREGNAT" I scream in disbelief.

"Can you not scream I don't want half of Equestria to hear you" Spike said blushing.

"And it's your child" I say still shocked.

"Of course it is duh" Spike said grinning with pride.

"So I take it you two are gonna get married" I ask calming down.

"Yeah next year after the baby is born I was planning on asking Celestia if we could use the royal wedding hall…I know she'd say yes especially if a certain demon helped out a bit" Spike grinned.

"Fine I'll convince her" I sigh.

"Alright perfect Rarity is going to be so happy" Spike cheered doing a barrel roll and breathing out a small torrent of flame. "Now what was it that was bugging you?" Spike asked.

"Well I'll be honest Spike we don't have enough soldiers to go toe to toe with Zenith and his remaining followers. That seemed to put a damper on Spikes mood rather fast.

"Well numbers aren't everything right we can still win we just need to come up with a strategy" Spike said trying to be optimistic.

"If we were facing any other opponent I'd agree with you but Zenith is old enough to have seen every trick in the book every strategy or tactic he's seen and come up with a counter for I'm afraid this is one battle that needs to be fought head on" I say with an edge in my voice.

"I see so how many more troops would we need" Spike asked.

"Another 2,000 unicorns and Pegasus" I say solemnly.

"Wow that many but there's no way in hay we can get that many" Spike said scratching his scales frustrated.

"I know that everypony that wants to fight has already joined that's why I said there was nothing we could do" I growl lowly.

"Do we really need that many" Spike asked after a few minutes of hiding.

"Well I guess we would only need half if the new soldiers could fly and use magic but unless you know about an entire country of fucking Alicorn in hiding I don't think we can do that" I say sarcastically. Spike pauses for a few seconds with a complicated look on his face.

"Well maybe not Alicorn…." Spike said trailing off.

"Wait so there is something out there" I asked.

"Yeah but…" I stopped Spike with a death glare.

"Tell me everything you know".

Spike pretty much explains the entire royal wedding fiasco.

"Changelings huh so this Queen Chrysalis is the monarch of an entire race of flying magic using pony bugs…" I say blankly.

"Yeah" Spike nods.

"I a few months before I awakened she attacked Canterlot and tried to take it over" I say staying expressionless.

"Un-huh" Spike answers.

"And she did it to get food for her race which feeds off…love" I state.

"Yup" Spike answers.

"HOW THE FUCK DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS EARLIER" I explode "Seriously I've been living in Canterlot for almost a year how the fuck haven't I heard anything about this I mean the place got completely overrun and half way destroyed so how in the flying fuck…" I string together several sentences of curses before I finally calm down enough to finish the last phrase "….With a god damn pig" (You get a cookie if you know where that's from)

"Calm down I'm sure everyone was just too worried about the new oncoming threat of total annihilation they just forgot about the old one" Spike said trying to placate me.

"Well on the bright side looks like this isn't as hopeless as I thought" I sigh.

"Yeah good luck getting Celestia to agree with this one" Spike shook his head.

"I don't need luck she'll have to agree to this we're running out of time with no other options this is the only route left to take" I state.

"Good point" Spike nods.

After making it to Canterlot we head straight for the royal palace where I called an emergency meeting with the princesses and commanders.

"Okay General what is it that requires all of us to be here on such short notice" Luna asked.

Deciding not to fuck around I was blunt and to the point.

"We're going to lose" I state.

"What" Flare says shocked.

"You heard me with the forces we have now we're going to lose" I say leaning on the table. "This is not a war we can win unless we doubled our numbers our forces aren't enough to go toe to toe with the remaining dragons I've calculated Zenith will have at his disposal"

"What doubled that's impossible" Steel said shaking his head.

"How can you even be sure how many dragons Zenith will have" Maelstrom asked.

"I've spent weeks tearing through scroll after scroll after of everything I could find regarding Zenith and his clan and I've managed to estimate the number is between 300 and 450" I state before looking at Steel Mail and answering his question. "No it's not impossible I have a way where we can make it with only an additional 2,000 troops" I say standing to look over everyone.

"What did you have in mind?" Celestia asked.

"Chrysalis the queen of the changelings we need her army" as soon as I finished speaking everyone broke out in an up roar. But I was in no mood so I released a burst of power to silence everyone.

"I understand your grudges against her but are you all so shallow that you would let everything be burnt to ash over past transgressions" I yell.

"I don't understand even with 450 dragons we still have an overwhelming advantage why would we need that witch" Shining armor said with distaste which I can understand after what Spike told me.

"I would absolutely agree if it wasn't for the fact that we will be fighting Zenith he is the closest thing I've seen to a god besides his father" I pause as my arm burns slightly.

"His power is more than you can imagine I've seen him burn entire cities to the ground he is not someone you can fight which is why I've been studying a few spells I've already decided to fight Zenith myself but that means you all will be on your own when it comes to his army" I say looking up and down the table.

"If General Deidrick says this is the only way then it is we've all been inside of a few of his memories we've seen what we will be going up against…I'm not happy to say this but considering how effective they were attacking Canterlot I would be lying if I said their assistance wouldn't greatly improve our chances." Flare stated.

The table was silent for a few minutes before Celestia spoke. "Fine bring Chrysalis here I'm sure she will have demands yet we must be willing to come to a truce for the sake of both our kingdoms".

"Do you even have any idea where she is" Luna asked.

"I have a few idea's I'll be leaving for a few days to search while I'm gone the commanders are to stick to the scheduled training…is that understood"

"Yes sir" is the response.

"Good you are dismissed" I say flatly

Once the commanders are gone Celestia turned on me "Are you sure this is the only way".

"Of course I am Tia if I wasn't I wouldn't be suggesting it" I sigh.

"I don't like this…but I trust your judgment" Celestia admitted nuzzling my cheek.

"We do as well" Luna said nuzzling my other cheek.

"Besides if Chrysalis thinks she's the baddest bitch in Equestria she has another thing coming" Nightmare Moon said taking over for a few seconds.

"You really need to stop reading some of those demon scrolls" I chuckle. "Anyway I'll be gone for maybe four days at the most keep the bed warm for me while I'm gone loves" I give them a quick peck on the lips before teleporting back to my room where Spike was waiting.

"So did they agree to it" Spike asked playing around with a staff I had in the weapons rack…he was actually pretty good with it now that I watched him use it.

"Yeah they weren't happy but they agreed now I just have to find Queen Chrysalis and bring her back here" I sigh.

"Ohhh…that's great" Spike said sounding slightly disappointed.

"You were talking about me asking them about you using the royal wedding hall weren't you" I say face palming. Spike gave me a pleading look, I sighed and teleported back into the meeting hall making Celestia and Luna jump.

"Back already" Luna smiled.

"Yeah I need a favor" I say flatly.

"Of course" Celestia says with a glint in her eye.

"Spike wants to get married to Rarity next year sometime and was wondering if he could use the royal wedding hall" I explain leaving out Rarity's condition.

"How sweet please tell Spike to get with the wedding planners whenever he is ready to start preparations" Celestia says happily.

"Thanks loves" I give them another quick kiss before teleporting back to my room. "Alright your good just get with the wedding planners when you two come up with a date oh and I left out Rarity's condition so you're welcome"

"Awesome Rarity's gonna go crazy once she hears the news" Spike cheers.

"Haha I'm sure now if you'll excuse me I have to get going" with another teleportation spell I ended up high in the sky's over Canterlot I hovered in the air for a few minutes before picking the direction I wanted I just hoped my hunch would be correct.
