Chapter 14: Be Mine? Who am I?

Thousands of scenarios rushed through Quinn's mind. Fear clouded her mind for a few second before she regained her composition, since she somehow knew one brunette would always come to her rescue.

The hands grabbing her loosed around her mouth and waist, and Quinn quickly turned around to face her attacker and only gasped when she caught a glimpse of golden hair. Geez, no wonder everyone loves to make the twins joke…

"Sam! What are you doing? Where have you been? Why don't you call me back? Why do you dress like a mummy?" Quinn was riding an emotion rollercoaster. She was both angry for the boy's disappearance and concerned about his well-being. Sam had the bandage over his chest, his arm was cast plaster.

Just as Sam was about to say something, the door of the classroom was pushed open, Rachel emerging into the classroom with a concerned look.

"Quinn, are you okay?" The brunette instinctively checked the blonde for any hint of injury.

Quinn couldn't help but chuckle at her girlfri…well…Rachel's adorably concerned face. She ran her hands up and down on the brunette's arms to calm her down and carefully poked her arm to get her attention.

"I am alright, Rach. It's just Sam."

Rachel's eyes snapped to Quinn's face to ensure her safety before turned toward the blonde boy, almost immediately shielding the blonde from the boy.

"What do you want, Sam?"

Sam flinched at the brunette's tone and stern look.

Quinn couldn't see what was going on between those two, but she saw an amusing change in Sam's face, from fear to confusion.

"I am sorry, Quinn. I overacted. I just need to grab the comic book I left at my locker, and tell you that don't worry about me. Just need some more rest before I go back to school. Have a nice day."

With that, the boy walked out of the room after ran into the wall once.

Quinn frowned, because that was so not Sam.

"Rach, I am worried. I think he… He wasn't on drug, was he?"

Rachel linked their hands and gave hers a squeeze.

"Don't worry, babe. He will be fine. Probably concussion."

Quinn nodded half-heartedly. Honestly, she almost forgot about her encounter with Sam as soon as the brunette touched her. A giggle escaped from the blonde.

Rachel raised an eyebrow, silently demanding an answer.

"It's silly…You just call me 'babe.'"

Rachel blushed. She didn't realize she said that out loud. She was meant to save it after her surprise.

Quinn smiled and leaned in to kiss hard on the brunette's lips.

Rachel quitted pouting and used a little force on the blonde's wrist, making Quinn falling back toward the brunette. The brunette kissed the blonde deeply.

When Rachel finally broke their kiss with a smirk, she linked her forehead with Quinn's, watching the blonde whose eyes were still closed.

"I just cannot get enough of you, babe, if that's the praise for calling you my babe, Quinn."

Quinn opened her eyes and peaked the brunette's lips again and again.

"Come on, let me show you the surprise." Rachel grinned, gently leading the blonde to the choir room.

As soon as Quinn walked into the room, she was welcomed by the music playing by the piano and her peers who all wore dark jeans and red shirt singing in the background.

After Quinn was placed on the seat prepared for her, she took her time to take in the brunette's outfit, a very tight white short shorts, showing off her endless legs, and a short red v-neck, haunting the blonde with both her cleavage and flat, tanned stomach.

She recognized the song even before Rachel started to sing.

Baby life was good to me

But you just made it better

Rachel winked at the blonde at the endearment. She drew a heart in the air. Quinn smiled, and her heart warmed when she heard the emotion behind the word, "baby" instead of "babe."

I love the way you stand by me

Through any kind of weather

They locked their eye and smiled at each other.

Baby it just took one hit of you now I'm addicted

You never know what's missing

Till you get everything you need, yeah

Rachel looked right into Quinn's eyes, licking her lips seductively.

I don't wanna run away

Just wanna make your day

When you feel the world is on your shoulders

Don't wanna make it worse

Just wanna make us work

Baby tell me, I'll do whatever

Quinn didn't realize the brunette walked down to her until Rachel held out a bouquet of flowers for her to take. Rachel winked and whispered, "For you."

Quinn giggled and took the bouquet. Only then did she break her eye contact with the brunette and sniffed the armor from the flowers.

See it was enough to no

If I ever let you go

I would be no one

Cos I never thought I'd feel

All the things you made me feel

Wasn't looking for someone until you

The piano suddenly stopped playing, and Quinn's eyes snapped toward the brunette, only to find Rachel started to rap.

She giggled at the brunette, who was now dancing around her, swaying her hips from side to side along with the music. Rachel was probably the only one who could add an impromptu rap in between a slow, love song. Twice.

"You are adorable like the white camellia, and there's sunshine in your smile like the yellow tulip in your arms. Pink camellia is my longing for you. Red camellia means you're my flame. And my love."

She pointed at the bunch of flowers in Quinn's arms, making Quinn laughed.

"The red carnation means my heart aches for you. And my soul."

The emotion was too strong to speak, and Quinn suddenly had the urge to cry.

"You are so pretty like the lily, and I want to make you happy forever like coreopsis."

It feels like nobody ever knew me until you knew me

Feels like nobody ever loved me until you loved me

Feels like nobody ever touched me until you touched me

Baby, nobody, nobody

Until you

Quinn didn't realize she was crying until the brunette kneeled down in front of her, weeping her tears away with her thumbs.

"One white rose, love at first sight, and you are the only one. Quinn Fabray, be mine?" Rachel whispered toward Quinn with a faint smile, showing such longing and care, as if there were only two of them in the entire world.

Quinn smiled back and nodded.

Just as the blonde was about to say "yes" however, the door of the choir room abruptly opened.

"No! Quinn, don't!" Sam shouted, breathing heavily as if he just finished running a 100-meter dash.

People in the room drafted their eyes from the couple on the floor to the boy at the door and then back to the couple, who never took their eyes off each other.

They got lost in each other, smiling like fools.

"No, Quinn, you cannot be her girlfriend!"

"Back off, dude! You are ruining the kissing!" Puck whisper-shouted with a dreamy expression.

Sam stepped forward. "Quinn, you don't know who she is!"

Rachel whined a little bit, but Quinn turned around to Sam with an annoying look. "Get over it, Sam. I know her damn well."

She turned back to the brunette with an apologetic smile and parted her lips once again.

"Quinn, she is a werewolf!"
