She stomped back and forth in her room; low hisses and growls spewing out of her as she cursed her brother's actions. Not an hour had passed before words reached her ears and the frustration didn't allow her to be in public. She felt somewhat betrayed by Garen when he let his honor cave in. How could he?! Talon deserved to die, nothing else – so why did he let the creep out of the dungeon and into care? Lux grabbed a pillow from her bed and tossed it across the room with a horrifying growl. Maids had stopped disturbing her, a long while ago; but she had yet to encounter her brother. But, the worst thing was Ezreal. He now took on an intensive re-training to get his muscles working again, and Sona helped him do so. The mage nearly pranced around the halls emitting flowers into the air. Most thought of him as weird but some laughed with him and returned his ever growing smiles. Lux was the only one thinking negatively on the matter.
A simple but strong knock on her door took her from her thoughts and she turned to scold at whoever dared interrupt her. "What?!" she yelled angrily as the door slowly opened, but the person stepping through only made her more angry. "What happened here?" the man closed the door behind him and took a good look at the room that had become a battlefield. "You!" Lux spewed with anger as she walked further away from him. "Lux, I need you to try and understand." Garen said and slowly approached her. "No! Don't touch me!" she followed the wall to her bed and crawled over the feathers that scattered in every direction. "You're a traitor!"
"Lux!" Garen got furious; how dared she speak to him like that. "Oh don't you 'Lux' me! You got nothing to say that can justify your actions!" She yelled right back at him and it seemed his anger turned to frustration. There were things she didn't know of, but Garen were no traitor. "Not only do you agree to let him be healed, no you take him out of prison and put him in a room. To make things worse, it's a very luxurious room meant for GUESTS!" Garen could have sworn he saw fire come out of her mouth as she narrowed her eyes and spoke to him as if the world was about to end and it was his fault. Yes, he had let Talon fall into care, but not unguarded. He knew it was risky and possibly beyond stupid. "Hold your foul tongue!" Garen yelled at her as he kept his place. "You don't understand and apparently don't want to – but this is how it's going to be!" He would have explained the situation to her, but it seemed she wouldn't listen to anything he had to say – he even doubted she saw him as her brother these seconds. "No I don't understand! He deserves to die!" She yelled right back, her words more poisonous than before. "You only say that out of your own selfish desires!" that seemed to calm her and Garen had almost let his guard down when an item was thrown his way. "OUT!" she screamed with her lungs capacity before she picked up something else to throw at him. Garen dug and took a few quick steps towards the door, only to miss another incoming attack. He barely managed to get out the door before a vase flew out the room and crashed against the marble floor. Garen quickly closed the door once more, only to meet terrified eyes from someone who could actually bring him a little comfort.
Sona stared at Garen in disbelief before her eyes turned to the shattered vase on the floor and back again. Had that been seconds later she would most likely have been hit. "I'm sorry." Garen spoke softly to the scared woman, but she simply shook her head before managing to smile. Garen offered her a hand and helped her cross the broken glass without touching it. On the other side of what had seemed like a fragile barrier, the two now stood close, and for the first time in a long while, Sona felt like she could bring Garen joy. They ignored Lux's smashing, only seeing each other as Garen started to lean down towards her. Their lips melted together for a few blissful seconds – Garen had wasted no time with flatter before letting his hands touch her passionately. They loved each other; that much was clear, but Sona still knew he would drop her in a heartbeat for someone else – someone he cared for a hundred times more than he could ever care for her, and it tore her apart. Whenever she could, she would offer him everything and she were always there to support him when he need her the most.
His breath had gotten heavier as their lips parted and Sona knew what he needed – what he wanted – and she would give it without second thought. Garen looked at her as he slightly bit down on his lip, not wanting to upset old feelings as he slowly pulled way, but she was quicker to make the decisions. Sona took a step back and firmly gripped his hand before pulling him along. Garen would never ask for her to do this and he would never come to her for these things, so she had to go to him. She dragged him to a room nearby but let go of him as she disappeared through the door. Garen stayed outside the room for some long lasting seconds, thinking it over. He knew he could never love her as she loved him, but right now he felt more attracted to her than he had ever felt before, so he joined her in the room.
Before he had closed the door, then he had already removed some of the heavy clothing that protected his body from harm. Garen quickly scanned the room. It seemed Sona had used the time to draw the blinds and begun removing her dress. She had a back turned at him, not looking but just waiting. The conference room was awfully chilly against her bare skin, but when Garen put his arms around her the cold wasn't bothering her anymore.
The man wasted no time rubbing her chest or private area as he attacked her neck and shoulder with needful kisses – but it wasn't good enough. He had only touched her for a few seconds before her dress fell to the floor so he could truly feel her body. She relaxed into his embrace and closed her eyes as his hands once more did what they wanted. She soon felt a hand between her legs, and Garen wasted no time with formalities, he just needed to make sure that she wanted this too. After confirming her body's activity then he turned her around and lifted her off the ground. She swung her arms around his neck and spread her legs wide as he readied himself. He lowered her body onto him and breathed out in pleasure before he looked at her. His strong arms protected her and she felt secure with him, she could never trust a man like she trusted him. Their lips met but only to distract her for a second before he harshly screwed her. Sona felt his frustration with every thrust and heard his sadness with every restrained moan. She wanted to join him, let him hear how much she enjoyed every fiber of his being, but her silence didn't even let her scream for him. Sorrow corrupted her heart even though this was the first time they had felt so connected in such a long time. He was the only one that could be heard in the room, as if she wasn't even there – she cursed her throat silently and tried to focus on his ruthless loving, but it was hard, knowing that he might be thinking of someone else just tore her soul apart.
"Perhaps, if it's not too much trouble for you, then we could share bed tonight?" Garen had said as they got dressed after their act of natural desires. Sona easily heard the embarrassment in his voice and she like seeing the more vulnerable side of him. Her body throbbed in pleasurable pain and for a few seconds she hadn't been able to stand straight when he finally put her down. She wondered if he was as rough with the other woman in his life. Sona turned her head with a smile and nodded gently at his question. Garen slowly walked to her and helped her get her dress back on, and for just a second she felt victorious as they spared a loving gaze for each other… "Shall I come to you when I'm off duty?" he asked with a soft whisper and he simply couldn't deny her a kiss when her face brightened with joy.
They separated outside the door; Garen was acting awkwardly tough and tried to keep a façade going when a maid saw them leave the room together - the light bruising on Sona's neck and given them away in seconds. Sona enjoyed the rest of the day, smiling and sharing kindness, but she still tried not to get her hopes up. It wouldn't have been the first time Garen promised to spend a night with her and never showing up – and that was exactly what happened. They saw each other around dinner time, exchanged smiles and ate separately, but once the clock hit eleven at night then Garen still hadn't showed up. Sona waited with heavy heart, looking towards her door and listening for approaching steps – but by eleven-thirty she had enough. She got out of bed and dressed herself before leaving her room. If Garen was sleeping in his bed he would get a scolding like never before… But he wasn't…
For a moment Sona's heart dropped to the floor, leaving her cold and without comfort as she entered his empty room. She pondered about where he was for a few moments as she undressed, and hoped that he wasn't out seeking his love as she slowly got under his bed sheets.
Somewhere passed midnight the door finally opened and a tired man with heavy steps dragged himself inside. Garen closed his door again and sighed heavily before dropping his armor on the floor on the way to his bed. He didn't notice the maiden in his bed until she started squirming around tiredly. "Oh God…" he grunted in dismay as he looked at her. "I completely forgot." He mumbled and sat down on the edge of the bed. He didn't even have the energy to come up with an apology, so Sona assumed he had long day. She wasn't really awake but still managed to open her eyes and watch him undress before joining her in bed. She had thought he invited her to share bed sheets because he felt their act from earlier was unfinished, but he was asleep before his head hit the pillow. Sona chose to enjoy the moment and just let herself fall asleep in his arms without having to give her body for it.
