HEY EVERYONE. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE SUPPORT FOR THIS STORY. I AM SORRY THAT IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO GET THIS CHAPTER UP. I WAS WORKING ON CHAPTERS FOR OTHER STORIES.

Chapter 13

When Barry came to his senses he found himself looking up at his wife.

"You know I think Wally's about ready to kill Superman for the stunt he pulled about her joining the League." The red head pointed out as she helped her husband up into sitting position.

"What Happened?" The blond asked as he felt a major headache start to form.

"Ya passed out from the shock of using the teleportation used by the Lords of Order. You've been out for a couple of hours." Wally told her uncle as she came into the room with a large tray of food. "Don't worry. I did the same thing when I first used the Ankh" Wally told her uncle as she placed the tray of food down in front of the older speedster.

"How is it possible that you are able to use magic when you don't believe in it?" Barry asked his niece as he took one of the sandwiches off of the tray and began to eat it.

"Wally West doesn't believe in magic but Dalia does. I created 2 different people when I put on the Helmet of Fate. It was hard believe me keeping the two separated but I was able to do it." Wally told her uncle who was still in shock that his niece/daughter was the new Dr. Fate and had turned down an invite to join the Justice League.

"I turned down the invite to join The Justice League because Superman wanted Dr. Fate as a member based on the magic I processed but I want to be on the League as Kid Flash not Dr. Fate. Besides I really don't want to be on the League. My team is Young Justice and will always be." Wally told her uncle as she knew what he was thinking about.

Barry looked at Wally. He could see just how mature his Niece had become since the Helmet of Fate incident. Perhaps seeing a dead body had made Wally realize the dangers of being a hero. It was said that it took someone losing their life for the teen speedster to mature.

"Wally, does the way you are acting have anything to do with what happened with Kent Nelson?" Barry asked as he looked at his niece with concern in his voice.

"Maybe, but when I saw just that what Kent Nelson had done made me realize that there was more to this world than just being an immature teenage hero. When I was in the Helmet of Fate, I saw just how much Kent Nelson love his wife, it remind me of how much you and Auntie Iris love each other that I knew that I couldn't let him stay on this plane of existence anymore. I also knew that by letting Kent Nelson cross over that my life would never be the same once I released Kent from his duties as the former host of Dr. Fate and became Dr. Fate. Not once have I regretted that choice. If anything that choice has made me more responsible in what I do and who I am." Wally told her aunt and uncle. She knew that they were just concerned about her.

"Wally, I want to say that I am very proud of you for the way you have been handling this situation. It takes a lot of maturity to do what you have been doing." Barry told his niece as he finished the last of his food.

Wally smiled at her uncle. Wally was glad that her Uncle Barry was proud of her in the choices she made. He was her father in every way she could think of. He had taken her in when her birth father had beaten her to almost death. Barry had raised her in the ways of science. It was Barry who was there for her when she hurt herself doing something stupid when she was a child and it was Barry who was there for her when she recreated the Flash experiment when she was 7 and almost died. Barry was the one that taught her how use her powers and protected her when she needed it.

Meanwhile at the Cave.

The Justice League had left shortly after Wally disappeared with Flash. Superman was clearly upset with the way he was talked to by a teenager. Batman defended Wally by saying that she was in her right to talk to Superman the way she did.

The entire team minus Conner and Zatanna were still getting over the fact that the one teammate that was against magic being real was now the new Dr. Fate. Also they were a little upset that she didn't tell them the truth but they knew that Wally was just protecting them.

"I still can't believe that Wally is Dalia!" M'gann gasps out in shock. She was shocked that Wally had managed to keep the fact that she was Dr. Fate from her.

"I know. You never would have thought that Wally would take the fact that she has magic powers seriously like she is doing." Apollo pointed out. He was upset that Wally hadn't told the team everything only about her past with her birth father but the archer knew the speedster had reasons why she did what she did.

"Perhaps we should wait until Wally comes back to the Cave before we make any accusations on why Wally did what she did. Remember that she was affected by Kent Nelson's death as she was the only one to see his die. Also there is more to what happened when we fought Klarion that day." Kaldur being the reasonable one told his team. He being the only other member of the team that used magic would defend Wally should someone said something nasty about her.

"I agree with Kaldur on this matter. Wally deserves to have her story be told as to why she did what she did. She told us why she did not want to join The Justice League but she did not tell us why she hid the fact that she was Dr. Fate." Robin spoke up defending his best friend. Sure he was upset that she told Batman that she was Dr. Fate but Batman had figured out who Dr. Fate was just by looking at the eyes.

"I agree. Wally had the right to speak her case. She had her reasons to do what she did. She was protecting us." Conner pointed out. He would defend Wally until the day he died. Wally had defended him from Superman when The Man of Steel didn't want him on the Young Justice team.

"Plus Wally didn't join the League when she had a chance too." Zatanna pointed out. She did respect Wally for sticking up to what she believed in and for her willingness to accept that magic was real and her role as Dr. Fate.

"Wally will have a chance to tell us why she did what she did when she returns with Flash." Kaldur told his team.

Everyone nodded their heads. They would let Wally tell her story.

Next chapter: The Rogues find out about Wally being Dr. Fate and they are not happy about it.
