It was surprisingly easier to write this chapter than some of the last few. It has been fun to read where the manga is at now though I am feeling impatient for chapter 212. If spoilers bother any of you just skip the rant contained inside of the bold words. SPOILERS and a rant: the other world is interesting to me for several reasons. First is why is the male birthrate so low that the world is primarily populated by women? Also the technology is of a lower level than Earth which is fun to see when the two worlds are compared (at least for me). I wonder how the Nova are created and how is it that they evolve? Who is the one altering them? For that I lay my suspicions on the dark haired Gengo of the alternate world since he knows something about them. I feel like sucker punching Kazuya for telling that guy all about his world when he really doesn't look like his grandfather (Gengo Aoi). I do wonder what the true abilities of Freezing are besides only working on females in the alternative world. Lastly chapter 212 is where we finally get to see what happened to Arcadia who also went to the other world the same time Kazuya did. Spoiler and rant end.

I feel better with that out of the way. If you guys wish I can provide a list to those in Mad Dog's harem at the end of the next chapter. Thanks to all the new stuff with the latest chapters of the manga I have conjured up another Freezing fan fiction that I will most likely post on here. On another note I now know that the energy used by the Pandoras and Nova is called "Soul Energy". However I am sticking with "Volt Energy" which is a little different than Soul Energy for this story in relation to Halion Nova-slayers. if that is confusing feel free to send me a PM and I will try to clear up the confusion. Thanks for the reviews, favorites, and follows of this story and the author too.

The redhead Pandora walked down the halls of the academy at a slower pace than usual. Her mind weighed more than it should have and the words of Izarha echoing in her mind. "The choice you make regarding him will have consequences for your world." Arnett grunted quietly. "Consequences for the world, huh?" She muttered shaking her head. What kind of consequences? The Pandora mused. She couldn't help but think about it as her feet led her out of the school building twards another familiar one. The more she thought on it the more her thoughts turned dark and bloody. Shattered cities and blood soaked streets materialized. Gritting her teeth in annoyance she cleared her mind of those thoughts then her eyes registered the building she had stopped at.

Entering through the doors Arnett was surprised to find the building empty of people. It was strange but she let it slide. Shaking her head once more the Pandora went up to the controls setting up a number of training exercises for herself. Once that was done she made her way to the large simulation room below where solid holograms materialized. Nine of them appeared in total, mimicking S-class Nova in a miniature form. With a flex of her right hand Arnett's Volt Weapon materialized. She twirled the scythe around several times feeling more composed already.

The closest of the holograms threw up one arm just before it extended. Arnett's eyes quickly zeroed in on the approaching limb also seeing the other arm of the hologram coming for her. In one motion the Pandora side stepped the attack and sliced off the sharp tip. it vanished in a flash of light once it was disconnected from the hologram. With use of Double Accel the Pandora got behind the first hologram slicing it up the middle. It split apart then shattered into shards which vanished after a few seconds.

"One down, eight to go." Arnett commented to herself as the remaining holograms turned to face her. This time two holograms launched their arms at the Pandora. The limbs raced forwards, but she Acceled away dodging them. Once out of the speed burst one slice of her weapon chopped another hologram in half. As the top part of the fake Nova fell and vanished she deflected arms away from her. Out of the corner of her eye the Pandora saw an arm come for her with her weapon on the other side of her body. It hit her right side seconds later sending her into the side wall with a thud.

The redhead grunted getting to her feet. She quickly focused on the one that had hit her. The mini S-class Nova moved ahead of the group then stopped as a tiny light began forming at its mouth. Her eyes widened considerably before she dashed away to the other side of the room with Triple Accel. The wall she had been next to exploded from the beam of energy that hit it.

What the hell!? Arnett barked in her mind staring at the good sized crater in the wall. The Holograms shouldn't be able to do that! She gripped her weapon tight with anger rising in her blood. The Pandora took one step then the room turned dark without warning. She froze using her iron will to keep from letting out any sounds. The darkness persisted for two minutes, then the hairs on the back of her neck stood up. The familiar feeling of energy in the air let her know there was someone else in the room.

Then the lights came back on displaying not S-class Nova holograms, but one individual. The glowing blue eyes of the male in front of her let the Pandora know this was no hologram. He was fairly lean looking with a build similar to her own. No visible weapon was upon him, though she knew he didn't exactly need one. His form was clad in a black tank top, dark blue jeans, and combat boots.

"Human Nova?" Arnett whispered tentatively watching as the male smirked.

Clapping his hands once he nodded. "Bingo." His hands untangled themselves with the right one going to grab air, only a longsword materialized. "Those holograms are pointless, as you won't be fighting that type of Nova."

Arnett charged with a Triple Accel, closing the distance within seconds. The front blade of her Volt Weapon raced to the exposed neck of the Human Nova. However the longsword of her opponent stopped the blade in its tracks. With a grunt she turned the weapon attempting to slam the shaft into the smirking face of the Nova. She blinked suddenly not seeing him. A kick to her back let her know where he had gone to in the blink of an eye. Arnett slammed into the far wall with a crashing thud, denting the surface with her body.

Without warning a force pulled the Pandora out of the wall. Looking to her waist she got the answer to an unspoken question. Glowing white and blue chains were around her connected to the Nova whom held the other end of it. With a tug her feet came off the ground as the chains shattered seconds later. Arnett swung her weapon in a down arc at the right arm holding the longsword. The Scythe struck the arm of the Human Nova at the wrist cutting it. She grinned as she got close enough to strike, aiming back and socking the Nova in the face with her left hand.

The Nova took the blow and went several feet to the side. He went with the motion rolling to stand back up on his feet moments after Arnett landed. On his cheek was a light mark that quickly faded out of existence. The redhead ground her teeth then yelled out utilizing Tempest Turn, sending copies of herself to attack the Nova at once form four sides.

"Interesting." The Nova commented idly as the copies closed in. Just before they could attack the sword arm blurred moving almost too fast for her to see, dismantling her copies. "Gotta do better than that." Again the Nova vanished from her sight. However this time she noticed a blur race around to her left. Quickly she spun her scythe around parrying a sword strike to her back. The force behind the strike made her stumble forward a few steps.

Seeing only a blur race around the room she closed her eyes in concentration, waiting for the moment to strike. After some time she felt the Nova come for her zigzagging from left to right. She opened her eyes stomping a foot down, which landed right on one of the Nova's feet. That halted the male forcing him to fall towards the ground face first. Before that Arnett brought up her weapon catching him in the throat with the shaft. Removing her foot and twisting her body she threw the Nova into the far wall of the rectangular room. Thick dark green blood left his mouth as he impacted with the wall leaving a cracks in it.

The male Nova chuckled prying himself from the wall. With one hand he wiped the blood away from the corner of his mouth. A glow surrounded his body before three images materialized. Once they appeared the glow stopped. The images all moved at the same time, boxing the Pandora. With another yell copies of herself lashed out stopping the fakes of the Nova. The images of the Nova were countered before Arnett's Volt Weapon made short work of them after her copies vanished.

She took the opportunity to breath feeling some drain form using the Tempest Turn ability twice within one minute. He lifted one hand a made a flicking motion with the index finger. Pain flared in her left leg without warning causing the Pandora to wince. Glancing down there was a burning hole only about the size of a quarter in her thigh. Fixing her eyes back to the enemy she caught sight of another flick motion. Again another burst of pain flared up, this time in her right shoulder.

Arnett jumped to the side avoiding another attack. This time her eyes barely saw the tiny laser like blast of energy that scorched the floor. Adjusting her focus to the Nova she charged him. The male was smirking again bringing his weapon down to cut off an arm. Then she performed another Accel in a different direction. The weapon sliced through air accompanied by a surprised expression on the Nova's face. With that opening she surged to him slicing upwards on his chest, ripping through the tank top with ease. Blood flowed from the slash encouraging her to continue. She brought down her weapon to slash again, but the Nova's blade blocked her at the last second.

A fist hammered into her gut with an explosion of energy causing the Pandora to fly into the other long wall. Blood flew out of her mouth at the impact knocking the air out of her lungs. As she fell her eyes caught sight of blood on her front from serious burns that also tore open most of the front of her uniform. Ignoring the hole that exposed her breasts the Pandora got to her feet slowly spitting out blood to the side. Again she Acceled to strike the Nova drawing more power from her stigmata.

He grunted blocking the strike then got to her back side. She increased speed getting out of the slash of his weapon before engaging him in melee combat. For some time this went on with most of her attacks parried though some got through leaving more slices on his form that bled. However she also suffered for those hits, getting fresh bruises or slashes from his edged weapon. The room hardly looked as it did earlier that day, marked and damaged from battle.

As they clashed the Pandora's mind wandered on its own away from the fight. Why didn't he tell us about the Human Nova? The sword slashed upwards catching her left arm a little drawing blood. Ducking to the right let her avoid another diagonal slash. Why did he leave Halion? Her weapon was parried once again though she twisted and hit him in the head with the shaft along the jaw. "The Living Curses are physical embodiments of negative emotions." Cyaton's voice echoed in her mind. Leaping backwards she mostly dodged a down angled slash, catching her calf with the tip of the blade. With a grunt Arnett sprinted shoulder charging the Nova.

He let out a cough form the hit then punched her ribs getting several audible cracks. She backed up wincing in pain spitting out more blood. Ignoring the burning in her chest the redhead got up parrying another strike from the Nova whose movements were beginning to be clearer to the Pandora. More copies provided by Tempest Turn went for the Nova. The male punched through one copy dispelling it then turned quickly parrying the other ones. Arnett's weapon followed up going for a lower target, slicing the left thigh at an angle.

"You are the Key to Zair's heart." The doctor's voice echoed again within the Pandora's mind. The Nova screamed a little at the slice on his thigh, but retaliated quickly. A leg caught the Pandora on the upper part of her chest sending her once more into a wall. "Eras have come to an end due to a Key to the Heart rejecting the Avatar interested in them." Anger flared in her blood fueling her to continue the fight despite the pain she was in. He charged at her with the blade in his left hand this time ready to strike. She waited for several seconds then made her move. Arnett Acceled to her left swinging her weapon in an arc to the weapon arm. She watched her scythe slice the arm clean off just above the elbow, spraying dark green blood. "If Zair goes insane or is controlled by the Avatar of Fear your world has nothing that can kill him."

The Nova's severed arm started glowing before it grew back with quick regeneration, and the other wounds she made following suit. Arnett let out a war cry with a slight glow to her body. The Nova's glowing eyes widened in surprise before she vanished from his sight. The scythe in her hands moved in quick circles slashing legs and arms many times. Blood splashed from those wounds onto her though she ignored it aiming for one last attack. With everything she had the Pandora turned putting her whole body into the motion. The reward was her Volt Weapon stabbing through the torso of the Nova, with the tip out the other end.

Blood came out of the Nova's mouth as she got a look at the wound. Her weapon had gone through the chest right where a human heart would be. She let a weak smile grace her lips at the victory before the Nova's form slid off her weapon to the ground. Putting the weapon in front of her Arnett leaned on it catching her breath. A flash of blue light appeared ahead of the damaged Pandora showing none other than Izarha.

"Good job." The Halion Nova commented with a smile on her lips. "I thought he might be too much for you, but I was proven wrong."

Arnett grit her teeth holding the Volt Weapon tight. "This...was a...test?" She said between breaths for air.

Izarha nodded. "It was, and if the Human Nova had defeated you I was going to kill him." She moved to the corpse then a spark of white energy lanced out to it from her finger. Within seconds the body of the Nova was consumed in white fire, turning it to ashes. "I felt your mind was on the Wolf."

The grip on her weapon tightened further until the bloody knuckles were white. "I can't get him out of my head!" The Pandora groaned loudly.

"Sparring with the Human Nova only made you think of him so let's do something else." Izarha said waving a hand in Arnett's direction. At the motion tiny orbs of blue white energy filled the room.

Once those touched the Pandora pain receded from her senses. The injuries upon her form fixed themselves until there was no mark of them having been there, aside from the damaged uniform. "What did you just do?" She asked feeling better and energized as if she hadn't been fighting for some time.

"Healed your wounds and resupplied you with energy." The Nova replied turning to leave the room. "It is something only the High End Nova-slayers can do."

Dismissing her weapon Arnett followed the Nova out of the building while also re-creating her uniform through Volt Texture. "Why did you come to me?"

Izarha stopped to face the redhead. "I want to explore the city that is near here, and figured you would know it better than I."

"Of course." Arnett grumbled. "I can guide you around the city." She muttered heading for her room. The Nova followed her the entire time, but waited outside her dorm room. Why do I have to show her around the city? The Pandora thought as she stripped off her uniform tossing it onto the bed. Then she went to her closet getting out a pair of jeans and a long sleeve shirt with a short v-neck, nothing like the deep one of Izarha's shirt. Once those were on she left with the Nova in tow. They remained quiet during the train ride to the city. Once off the train Izarha looked over the area before following the Pandora again as she went somewhere.

"If you don't mind I would like to eat somewhere for lunch." Izarha said getting a nod from the redhead. "And it is a little odd for me to see you in casual cloths Arnett."

Arnett chuckled. "It is nice to wear casual cloths every now and then."

The Nova followed Arnett around catching sight of quite a number of men staring at her, or females in an envious way. The tall buildings reminded her of the times she went through human cities on Halion. However those had been in ruins showing only parts of what they had been. The streets weren't too crowded making it easy for Izarha to be noticed. Along the way something caught the Nova's attention causing her to stop.

"There is a good place to eat over this way." Arnett said then stopped to see the Nova in front of a display window. The Pandora made her way over to see what held the Nova's attention. The redhead came to a stop next to Izarha whom had stopped to look at a toy store which displayed a line of action figures on one row while another contained stuffed animals of various colors and shapes.

"What are those?" Izarha said pointing to the toys on the window shelf. "I've never seen anything like them."

Arnett stared at the Halion Nova slack jawed. Does she seriously have no idea what those are? She mused in her head before composing herself. "Those are toys for children Izarha. I'm surprised you didn't know that." This brought the Nova's eyes to hers.

Izarha snorted. "I'm a soldier not a care taker." Her blue eyes shifted back to the display window. "I've never been around kids before, except my younger siblings."

"Are you a Pandora?" A tiny voice asked drawing the attention of Arnett and the Halion Nova. Said voice belonged to a little girl wearing a light blue t-shirt and brown skirt.

Izarha looked to Arnett who gestured with her head to the little girl waiting for a reply. The Nova turned back to the little girl before nodding. "I am."

The blond girl's face lit up in excitement. "I wanna be a Pandora when I get older!"

An eyebrow rose on Izarha's face. "Really?"

"Yep!" The child said still excited. "They fight to save the world!"

"There you are." A older female voice commented before a woman in jeans and a long sleeve shirt walked up to the little girl. The woman looked like an older version of the child with shoulder length blond hair and the same green eyes. Her eyes turned to Arnett and Izarha. "I hope my daughter wasn't troubling you two."

Arnett smiled shaking her head. "No."

Izarha let a small smile grace her lips as the mother picked up the girl. "She did mention wanting to be a Pandora when she gets older."

The woman chuckled. "That is her dream, though she isn't old enough to take the Compatibility Test." With that the mother and daughter left the Pandora and Nova.

"As I was saying earlier I know a good spot to eat not far from here." Arnett said walking again, this time Izarha followed. Like the redhead had said the place where Izarha was led wasn't far. It was a small cafe with outdoor seating for the nice weather of the day that was a little on the cool side.

"This is a nice little spot." Izarha commented sitting down to have her back facing the street while Arnett sat across from her. Arnett nodded in approval before a each of them picked up a menu that was on the table. "Been a long time since I've had pasta."

The redhead looked up from her menu with a raised eyebrow. "I take it you're going with that?" A nod was the reply before her eyes went back to the menu in her hands. After a minute she decided on a stir fry.

"Are you ladies ready to order?" A middle aged waiter asked quickly getting out pen and paper. He wrote down their orders then left taking the two menus with him.

"It seems that Pandoras are held in high regard by civilians on this world." Izarha said watching as Arnett shrugged.

"To most Pandoras are heroes since only we can fight the Nova." Arnette replied. "Every girl has to take the Compatibility Test at age 11 which determines what level of compatibility one has to Stigmata. If the compatibility rate it high they are encouraged to join the Genetics Academies to train to become a Pandora while those with too low cannot become a Pandora. However they do not have to choose to be one if they don't want to."

"Interesting." Izarha said leaning back in her chair to look at the sky above them. "On Halion it is rare to find someone who cannot use Stigmata in some form. Though it is also rare for a Nova-slayer not to be able to use Freezing on top of their combat powers."

"Mad Dog said that males and females could become Nova-slayers, or was that one of the things he lied about?" Arnett asked with a hint of anger at the end of her question.

Izarha shook her head. "He didn't lie about that." She said then the waiter from before arrived with their plates of food, placing the pasta in front of the Nova and the stir fry in front of the redhead. Once the plates were down he left them. "Nova-slayer is a term that has two meanings. One is what can be translated to this world as Pandora, those who use the same energies of the Nova to combat them. The second meaning is someone who fights the Nova but does not have Stigmata in their body. Jessie is an example of the latter since Elementals don't have much issue battling Nova."

"That makes sense." Arnett said then started eating. Silence loomed over the two comfortably as they ate. Fire minutes later both of them finished their respective meals. "How many siblings do you have?"

The Nova closed her eyes and remained quiet for several minutes. "I am the middle child out of five." A whimsical look came over the Nova's face as her eyes opened. "I was the rebel of us, always getting into fights and trouble with my parents."

"What are your siblings like?"

"The older two I didn't get to know very well, before they were killed. Never got along with the second youngest. However the youngest, Tora, was close to me."

"Was?" Arnett asked thrown off by the word. Izarha took in a deep breath letting it out slowly, loosing the whimsical look at the same time for a neutral one.

"I've lost my family during the war with the Nova between my original home and Halion." Izarha said shaking her head a little. "My little sister Tora has been missing for years."

Arnett shifted her eyes to the empty plate in front of her. "What's worse than knowing is not knowing." The Pandora said quietly, images coming to the front of her mind without warning. Are you doing well father?

Izarha nodded. "She disappeared among an accident that ripped a hole through dimensions. That tear closed itself before I could get there. So I have no idea where she was sent to or if she is alive."

Collecting herself the Pandora took in a breath and let it out slowly. "Do you want to continue exploring the city?"

"Yes." Izarha replied. Arnett paid for the meal then the two left once again walking down one of the main streets. "How similar is this to Halion?"

"Similar, but also quite different." Izarha said. "There humans built cities far larger and taller than what I see here, and of completely different materials."

The redhead looked at Izarha to her left. "Different materials?"

The Nova chuckled. "They did have to contend with Elementals and Primals after all."

"Right." Arnett commented before a group of young men stood in their way.

The six men were dressed in various sets of tank tops and jeans of dark colors ranging from red to gray. All of them had a lean muscle build and a calculating gaze in their eyes. One of them stood ahead of the others dressed in black. He held up a open hand towards the two females.

"You ladies look like you could use some fun." The male standing in front of the others said.

Arnett narrowed her eyes at him. The tone he had used did not quite sound friendly, nor did the five others make things seem it. "We'll be fine one our own." The Pandora said keeping a level tone.

"Interesting idea, but I don't do that with low life vermin such as you." Izarha said casually with a dark tone. The men stood flabbergasted at the same time Arnett's head whipped to the Halion Native.

The lead man's face turned from surprise to a snarl. Just then Arnett grabbed one of Izarha's hands and ran to a side alley close to them. "After them!" He yelled giving chase. It did not take the males long to reach the empty alleyway the two women had gone to. Two of the six men pulled out pistols aiming them at the females.

"Boss, I recognize this one." The only male wearing a hat said gesturing to the redhead with his weapon. "She's a Pandora."

The lead man glanced over his shoulder to the one with a hat. After a pause his eyes went back to Arnett. A wicked grin came to his lips. "As a Pandora you can't harm civilians without severe penalties."

Arnett grit her teeth in annoyance. It was true that Pandoras couldn't attack humans without severe repercussions since they were trained to be the defenders of humanity and the world. It was times like this she hated that rule. The man whom had a pistol trained on her pulled the trigger, shooting her in the left thigh. She grunted kneeling down a little then another shot rang out hitting the other leg. This brought her down to her knees unwillingly.

"After we immobilize the other one we can have some fun with you two." The lead thug spoke, a clear tone of ill intent in his words.

Izarha sighed bring attention to herself. "If you're that desperate for sex why don't you go find a place that allows you to buy it."

"We'll fix that mouth of yours shortly." The thug returned with a glare.

Izarha laughed at that. "I'd like to see you try."

The pistol trained on Izarha barked once, letting out a round. Before it could get close to the Nova something appeared in a flash of blue light. The occupants in the alleyway froze at the humanoid looking being standing before Izarha. The bullet had shattered upon colliding with the white colored being. Overall it was taller than the humans by a little bit with long head resembling a snout that ended with a lower and upper jaw that was parted slightly. The arms were larger than a human's up to the elbow where the forearm left extending bits. The legs looked mostly human save for feet resembling those of a lizard with three claws.

"Is Mistress safe?" The being spoke keeping inhumanly still between the thugs and Izarha.

"I am, though the bullet wouldn't have harmed me anyway." Izarha replied.

"What the hell is that thing!?" Both men with guns spoke at the same time.

Izarha stepped around the being that had appeared in front of her. She stopped next to Arnett. "The redhead here may be bound by rules that all Pandora have to follow, however..." She paused to fix them men with a unsettling stare. "Those rules don't apply to me."

There was a pause before they began to back up at once. They never took their eyes off of the now shifting being that had been shot to no effect. It held up one open hand showing a mix of lines in hexagonal patterns across its arm that could also be seen on the rest of it. A brief flash of light came from the hand that seemed to do nothing to the six men.

However the furthest back one stopped without warning. Looking over his shoulder a slight blue white color was in the air at the edge of the entrance to the alleyway. The others shortly pressed into him with the light effect acting as a solid wall.

"What does Mistress want to do?" The humanoid being spoke lowering the hand to its side then turning the eyeless head to Izarha.

"Incapacitate them and destroy the two pistols." Izarha ordered then the humanoid moved. In the blink of an eye it appeared in front of the men.

Was that Accel?! Arnett thought as it reached forward and grabbed the two pistols and hands holding them, then crushed them. Blood curdling screams came from the two armed men as their hands were pulverized with nightmarish ease. It let go of the two then placed large hands onto the the men whom were on the ends of the gathered line up. Seconds later a spark came from the hands of the humanoid shocking the group unconscious. It wasn't long before the men collapsed and the humanoid removed its hands before going back to stand next to Izarha.

"That might have been a bit much on the electricity." Izarha commented idly noting the trail of drool from the mouths of the thugs.

The humanoid lowered its head. "Sorry Mistress."

"What is it?" Arnett said once again seeing the little orbs of light float down to the ground. As before the two bullet wounds in her legs closed up within seconds, leaving no trace they were there.

Izarha patted the crest of the humanoid in a friendly manner, as one might pat a child on the head. "A humanoid Nova that obeys my commands."

The name did make sense to the Pandora as it did resemble a human mostly. "Is this one of the types of Nova from Halion?"

"Yes, and one of the more common ones." Izarha said petting the other Nova's crest. "You are free to return to Halion." With that she retracted her hand and the Humanoid Nova vanished in blue light the same way it had appeared.

"Thanks for the healing again." Arnett said getting a nod from Izarha then the two of them left the alleyway, and a pile of unconscious men. For some time their walk was quiet as they made their way down the street again. "Has Mad Dog ever fallen in love before?"

Izarha stopped in her tracks and turned to the Pandora with an unreadable expression. Arnett couldn't figure out that the expression meant, and that made her nervous for the answer. "You are not the first one to capture his heart in a way."

She was not the first? "What happened to the one before me."

"There is a reason he fears getting close to others." Izarha said with a sigh. "A human girl was the one before you. He killed her with his own hands."

Shock manifested on the Pandora's face at the same time a jolt went through her. Killed her with his own hands?! She shouted mentally. "Why?" the word left her mouth without consent.

Izarha shrugged. "Only Zair could tell you that. On another note are parents here proud of any daughter that becomes a Pandora?"

Changing gears Arnett nodded. "From what I know parents are proud of children who become Pandoras."

"What about you?" Izarha said walking again with the redhead next to her. "Are your parents proud of you?"

It was Arnett's turn to stop walking. She looked down to the ground making Izarha turn to face the human. She stood still for nearly a minute before looking the Nova in the eyes. "My mother died when I was young, but dad raised me alone. We lived in America where he delivered supplies for money."

"What kind of supplies?"

Arnett shrugged then walked ahead. Izarha followed the Pandora for a time until they got to an empty park where she sat down on a bench. "I don't know what supplies he ferried to different cities."

"What is he like?" Izarha asked sitting down to Arnett's left.

The barest of a smile came to the Pandora's lips. "He is kind and too trusting of others. Back then I dedicated myself to protecting him from trusting others too easily and also made sure we got paid for the deliveries." The redhead looked up to the sky while leaves danced in the wind. "Three years ago was the first time I met Pandoras, though I didn't know they were that at the time. My father, Keith, agreed to pick them up and give them a ride to San Francisco. There at a restaurant he gave me a hand held console I had been eyeing earlier that day for my fourteenth birthday. He also let me know the results of my Compatibility Test which said I had 80% compatibility with Stigmata."

Izarha also turned her attention to the sky. "I would assume a compatibility rate that high is rare."

Arnett nodded. "When he told me that and gave me plane tickets to a Chevalier facility. I flipped and left the restaurant. He of course apologized to me later for quick judgment. Some time later the two Pandoras wanted to hitch another ride with us to some port city where my father was headed." She lowered her head from the sky to look at the ground in front of the bench, covered by the shade of a tree near them. "On the road we got attacked since he had taken a dangerous job to earn more money. Out the other end he was saved by the hitch hikers who stopped the car from falling into a ravine and they inspired me to be a Pandora."

"Sounds like you were close to your father."

Arnett scoffed lightly in a non-offended manner. "I am, though I have not talked to him since becoming a Pandora."

"You should try to contact him when you get the chance." Izarha commented standing up. She stretched her arms over her head. "We should head back to the Academy." Arnett stood up before leading the way towards the tram station.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOo

The rectangular room was plain of most things save for a large long table in the middle of the room that was shaped like half of a rectangle. Along the table were twelve seats each of them occupied by the upper caste of Chevalier representing parts of the inter-national organization. At one end of the table sat Radox Phantomheim, Commander-in-Chief of Chevalier. As usual the man had on dark slacks, black shoes, and a white business shirt with the sleeves rolled up. The man overall was tall standing over most of the others in the room if they were not seated. Running a free hand through his short military style black hair he sighed.

Time to get started. Radox commented in his head. "This meeting has been called to discuss the recent events centering on the one called Mag Dog." He paused getting all eyes on him. His sight lingered slightly on the calm form of Gengo Aoi whom sat at the other end of the table from him. "Nova have been appearing in greater numbers and in new forms that have slaughtered a number of Genetics students during the Joint Training done in America. Some of the Pandoras who fought the new Novas and defeated them displayed abilities not taught at any Genetics branch. And power that is beyond most active duty Pandoras."

"Where did they learn the skills used in that battle?" One of the meeting members asked. The man was presumably one of the older ones with graying hair that was neatly trimmed, from short hair to the beard on his chin. "Then what of the other abilities some are claimed to have? Control of electricity? Of earth?"

Another male in the room scoffed. This one being younger with also trimmed hair, though black in color matching his suit. "That is nothing but the failed interpretation of battles with powerful Nova."

Gengo chuckled bringing attention to himself. "That hardly seems possible." He remarked getting narrowed eyes from the previous speaker. "The reports made by the students cannot be tossed aside simply because they are not active duty Pandora. Each of them knows what Nova are capable of and familiar with the results of battles against them." The Nova scientist said placing one arm onto the table in a relaxed manner. "Regardless of where they learned those unknown skills it is the special Pandora who won the battle against the Nova that appeared."

"It does matter where they learned those skills!" Another member of the meeting shouted, slamming a hand on the table. "Whoever taught them allowed the special Pandoras to successfully destroy the Nova that showed up when others were helpless."

"Did you know about the unusual level of strength in the Pandoras who performed the best during the battle against the Nova Dr. Aoi?" Another of the younger members said fixing his steely gaze on the global authority concerning all things Nova.

"I did notice the higher levels of strength, however I suspected those were just an experiment of Dr. Cayton on new forms of Stigmata." Dr. Aoi replied with a slight shrug. "For that reason I did not see the need to inform others of what I saw."

"If she knew about these special Pandoras why did she not inform us of them and their development?" Silence followed the question from the gray haired man.

Radox sighed. "It is clear that information was kept from us by more than one person. Bring Dr. Cayton and Mad Dog in for questioning."

OoOoOoOoOoOo

"Who is that?" Izarha said gesturing towards the young male that was running to her and the scythe wielder. The young male in question wasn't anything impressive, average build for a Limiter with short blond hair. On his form was the standard light tan brown uniform of Genetics Limiters.

"Morrison?" Arnett spoke as the male came to a stop in front of them panting, leaning on his knees. "What's wrong?"

Morrison continued to pant trying to get breath back into his lung while another, familiar voice to the Nova, spoke. "So this is your Limiter Slashing Trickster?" Turning around awarded the redhead with the sight of Josh and Carmine with duffel bags slung over their shoulders. This time both Halion natives wore the uniform of West Genetics Pandoras. Josh smirked. "I quite like the sight of him."

Arnett noticed the Limiter finally stand up taking in the two new Pandoras before him. "Who are you?"

The Halion Nova-slayers looked at each other then to Morrison once more. Shrugging Carmine spoke first. "Carmine Krous of Australia Genetics, transferred to here."

"Josh Rynkol of Australia Genetics, also transferred here." She said holding out a hand for the human to shake.

Morrison grabbed the hand only to be shocked at the ironclad grip Josh placed on his own hand. "P-pleasure to m-meet you." He stuttered wincing as the Pandora squeezed once more then released the hand.

"Why are you two here?" Izarha said crossing her arms.

They shrugged in unison. "Late transfers." Both replied in sync.

"Why did you run Morrison?" Arnett said getting her Limiter's attention.

The blond Limiter's eyes focused on his Pandora partner. "Dr. Cayton was just summoned for questioning along with Mad Dog."

Izarha snorted drawing attention to her from the two Earth natives. "They may get some answers out of that old hag, but that wolf isn't even on this planet."

"Not on this planet?" Morrison repeated quietly looking at the Pandoras owlishly. They turned to give him deadpan looks, then it dawned on the young Limiter. "Another planet!?"

Josh grinned showing one sharper than human fang. "A little slow there human." Morrison's eyes widened considerable as they focused on her. "As Izarha said Mad Dog is on another world, Halion."

"I see..." Morrison trailed off before shaking his head. That was beyond what he could grasp. "Dr. Cayton was taken by Chevalier for questioning."

Izarha looked at the shorter human. "Chevalier?"

Arnett face palmed with a sigh. "It is scary that you haven't figured that out yet. Chevalier is the organization that controls Pandora and such."

The Nova shrugged. "Makes sense."

"Would you be willing to part with the kid, Slashing Trickster?" Josh asked gesturing to Morrison.

The Limiter in question looked between his current Pandora partner and the Australia Pandora. Glancing down he replied. "It is okay if you want to let me pair up with her over you because I am a failure."

Arnett groaned. "I'm not going to drop you."

Morrison held his gaze to the ground. "Are you sure you don't want Mad Dog who is better than me?"

The redhead's right hand clenched into a tight fist. Does he still think so little of himself after being with me? She turned her eyes to the Limiter who hadn't looked up yet. Suddenly alarms blared jolting everyone but Izarha.

"Multiple Nova signatures detected. Repeat, multiple Nova signatures detected. Prepare for combat operations." An electronic female voice spoke over the school's PA system. Seconds later the pounding of many feet could be heard by those next to Izarha.

"How many showed up?" Arnett said looking to the bright blue light of Nova dimensional shifting.

"Six." Three voices answered at the same time.

The blue light faded quickly though the echoing roar after that sent shivers down the spines of the humans. "Sounds like lizards." The resident Nova commented.

Josh grinned punching one hand into her palm. "Been a while since I've beaten one of those to death."

A flash of light materialized before the group followed by five more. Thinking quickly Arnett tackled Morrison to the ground saving him from the pounce of a large creature. She tracked the Nova thing to see the maw of a giant lizard hissing at her. The creature was covered in the same looking armor of other Nova from previous battles. It leaped at the downed humans only to have the attack come short. Concrete launched into the air as the head of said lizard was hammered into the ground with a simple fist.

The armored reptile growled flipping onto its back where Carmine shot it with her weapon with a burst of five shots. The redhead got off the ground summoning her Volt Weapon, charging one of the five remaining lizards. Her weapon drew a sharp spray of dark green blood with several droplets landing on her face. Despite the slice across one leg the Nova lizard reached out with one paw armed with four large claws. In a flash Arnett sped out of range seeing the claws of the lizard tear through the ground with ease.

"Come at me ya bastards!" Josh boomed with excitement drawing two of the lizards to her at once. Both enemies leaped at her with open maws and claws at the ready. With a shift of her feet the Nova-slayer lunged with an uppercut. The force of the blow threw Morrison several feet away while the next second a tremor rocked the earth. A great splash of blood exploded from the ground coating the human werewolf crossbreed. That spray of blood even landed on Carmine who grunted in annoyance.

"What are these things?" Morrison spoke leaning on one arm to see the battle before him. Fear shook his being of both the things his Pandora were fighting and of Josh.

Izarha sighed. "Nova Beasts." She explained looking down to watch the Limiter as he looked over the group, his gaze seeming to linger on Josh more than Arnett. "They are something you humans haven't dealt with till now."

Another screech thundered from the lizard Arnett faced, after earning another of many marks across its body. However the Nova Beast didn't seem to slow down much with the wounds. Their tough. The scythe wielder thought blocking another slash at her. The shaft of her weapon rumbled with the force, but didn't break as she slid some feet back. A grin worked its way to her face slowly as she Tripple Acceled getting behind the Nova Beast. With one powerful swing the tail of the lizard came off in one go.

The Nova Beast howled in pain thrashing about. The redhead jumped back receiving claw marks on her legs, tearing her jeans more. For about ten seconds the beast thrashed about then a familiar field erupted from it.

"They can do Freezing!?" Morrison said feeling the movement impairing effects of it.

Arnett was frozen in place while Josh and Carmine were slowed considerably. "Freezing huh?" Carmine said before energy rippled from her form. "Too bad I can make my own Freezing Field!" With that movement came back to her, and the other two as they were in range for it.

Arnett's eyes widened at the sensation. This is strangely pleasant, like when I do Eranbar Set with Morrison. She thought moving in to slice the head off of another lizard. The eyes of the Nova Beast went wide as it seemed to realize its Freezing field wasn't working. Seconds later her scythe cut the head clean off at the same time Carmine's rifle barked more.

"That's all six, so why is the alarm still going?" Josh asked looking around.

Izarha held up a hand with an index finger pointing at something. Out in the distance six visible S-class Novas stood. At the tip of the Nova's finger a small orb formed crackling with energy. "More of them." She noted then the orb unleashed a beam of destruction. That beam fired just over the edge of the nearby first year male dormitory catching one of the S-class Nova in the chest. Shortly after the beam went through it the Nova exploded, sending waves of water crashing to the beach. However the five other S-class Nova turned to face their attacker.

"That got their attention." Arnett commented gripping her Volt Weapon tight. The Nova moved closer by a little bit before a massive bolt of electricity roared into existence. Her eyes widened feeling the familiar energy. She watched the Nova be torn to bits by arcs of lightning. Following that was a bright flash of light that faded slowly.

"Nova threat has been neutralized. Repeat, Nova threat neutralized." The electronic female voice boomed over the PA again.

"He's back." Izarha said turning to walk forward with the others behind her. They stopped when a flash of light occurred in the second year male dorm.

A blast of wind hit the faces of those present as one scythe user surged to the dorm. Mad Dog's finally here! Now I can ask him what else he has been keeping from me. Arnett slid to a halt in front of the dorm's main entrance causing the boy to open said door to dive to the side as she sprinted in. Arnett got to the floor with Mad Dog's room quickly coming to a halt when the male exited his room. His crimson eyes shifted to her form, going over it.

Her eyes were glued to the werewolf's human form. The short sleeve shirt covering his chest did nothing to hide the muscles there. Slung across his back was some sort of large bag full of things from the look of it. Gray pants with combat boots completed Mad Dog's outfit. She felt heat rise to her cheeks.

Those arms looked inviting, capable of protecting her from whatever the world may throw her way. I'd love to have those arms around me. She thought then blinked once, then twice. Where the hell did that come from?! She shouted mentally seeing a slight smirk tugging Mad Dog's lips.

"Good work taking out a few Scaleshards." He said then looked away from her. Following that was an explosion of force that blew a hole through the wall leading to outside the second year male dorm. Once at the hole in the wall he jumped down to the ground.

Narrowing her eyes in annoyance Arnett rant to the hole. She stopped at that tracking Mad Dog as he walked away. "I want to talk to you." She said loudly with silence following. The werewolf kept walking ignoring the Pandora. Her right hand closed tightly onto a piece of stone until enough force was applied to crush it to dust. "When are you going to tell me the truth?" At this he stopped to look over a shoulder at the redhead. For a time he stared then faced forwards to walk again. Gritting her teeth the Pandora launched from the hole racing for the elemental. "Why aren't you answering me!?" Arnett roared bringing down her Volt Weapon to slash him.

Arnett's Volt Weapon shattered upon hitting the werewolf's back. The shards vanished before it re-materialized in her hands. Another slash on his back resulted in the weapon breaking again. Letting go of the broken shards the Pandora cocked back a fist and punched. Her fist went through empty air making her lean forward.

Illusion Turn?! Arnett's mind screamed sensing something behind her. Turning around awarded her with Mad Dog standing with a neutral expression. Grunting she spun aiming for a high kick to the face. Mad Dog simply leaned back from it. Arnett followed up with a series of punches and kicks that the werewolf stepped out of with ease. "Talk to me!" The Pandora yelled in frustration before using Triple Accel to get to Mad Dog's left side. This time it was an elbow coming for the Nova-slayer's face. However it was stopped midway in its tracks.

A blueish green glow surrounded just Arnett's body and nothing else. "What are you so determined to find out about me?" The Wolf's eyes for once held little sign of what he was thinking, aside from calculated calm.

The Pandora tried moving, but to no avail. She was stuck in a Freezing field targeted specifically to her body. "Why?"

A eyebrow rose on Mad Dog's face. "Why?" He repeated.

Pressure disappeared from most of her body, but the redhead's legs were still targeted by Mad Dog's Freezing. "Why did you kill her?"

Shock lit up his face as eyes grew distant. Silence lingered in the air as something stirred within the werewolf's mind. "Sound familiar?" A dark echoing voice taunted. "She said it too." The image in front of Mad Dog shifted from Arnett to something buried within his memories. A blood splattered stairway up to a fragmented door materialized with a body down from it. The body was that of a young human female whose body hardly looked normal. It was soaked in blood and flattened from repeated heavy hits. Despite the damage dull gray eyes focused towards him with one word wheezing out of her mouth. "That redhead will die just like the one before her."

Arnett watched energy begin to leak from the werewolf's form at the same time the Freezing around her legs vanished. It did not take long for the energy to become visible around his body, giving off a black smoke with deep purple mixed into it. What does the purple mean in the smoke? The Pandora thought. Seconds later one of the wolf's hands went to his head with eyes closing in grimace. Mix colored smoke rose off him faster and more visible, making a small cloud around him.

"All those who get close to you die." The demonic voice thundered within the werewolf's mind as another image appeared. Mad Dog's elder sister suspended by a rope in the air, pierced by dozens of Nova blades. Around her corpse lay the shattered remains of a public square bathed in the blood and broken bodies of many. At this the werewolf's body began trembling.

"Zair?" Arnett spoke quietly waiting for a reply. Seconds passed with none besides the shaking of his body. The Pandora reached out with her left hand touching the hand that rested on his head. "Why did you kill her?"

Faster than she could see the wolf's left hand closed painfully around her wrist. His eyes bored holes into her own, displaying a mix of colors. Besides the normal crimson black and purple were visible within both eyes. "My past is of no concern to you." Mad Dog spoke with a cold tone sending chills down the human's spine. After a few seconds his hand closed pulverizing bone with no effort.

Arnett screamed before he let go allowing the Pandora to pull her injured arm to her. The left hand hung limply with a visible mark where he had grabbed. She growled summoning her volt Weapon, Scythe Machina, to her right hand again. Moving as a barely visible blur Mad Dog's fist punched clean through the volt texture as if it were nothing more than a beam of wood. Following that up the werewolf spun kicking her in the chest. Blood splashed out of the Pandora's mouth as bones audibly snapped. Mad Dog held his position for a few seconds then lowered his leg.

Arnett flew a distance before crashing through the lone statue in the center of campus utterly destroying it. She coughed violently turning to her side to spit out blood. Searing pain burned in her chest, clearly signaling a number of broken ribs. Ignoring the pain Arnett got to her feet slowly breathing heavy and slow. She nearly stumbled when a gust of wind blew clearing the dust cloud from the destroyed statue. Why? She thought keeping track of Mad Dog's approaching form. Why is he attacking me? Anger boiled in her blood once again dulling some of the pain. Why won't he talk to me?! She surged forward with Start Tripple Accel cocking back a fist to strike, all the while glowing blue-white. Streams of energy rolled off of her form causing the area to glow slightly.

Her fist hammered into something before cold crimson eyes as if hitting a solid wall. Arnett stared slack jawed momentarily then pulled back to punch again. Her fist slammed into something unseen to her eyes, leaving roughly six inches of space between his face and her hand. She jumped back a few steps then kicked once again hitting something.

Is this some kind of barrier? She thought after kicking once more with her other leg, getting no where close to the werewolf. The Nova-slayer stood still keeping watch of the Pandora. For another thirty seconds the redhead funneled anger into her attacks continuously hitting a barrier. "Damn it!" She roared punching with all her might. This time her fist went past where it had been as it sparked with white colored energy. However fear gripped her instead accomplishment with him holding her hand.

Mad Dog jerked her to him and spun slamming the Pandora into the ground. Stone cracked from the force with more blood coming out of the human's mouth. The werewolf paused watching her try to get air in her lungs. Several seconds passed then he lifted her up by her right arm to slam her once more into the ground. Glancing to his left Mad Dog sensed Izarha and others with her coming. Turning his attention back to the human redhead Mad Dog walked around her form. Dull eyes tracked the wolf with some effort to focus with her chest rising and falling irregularly.

Holding one hand up and open electricity materialized wrapping around her limbs and torso, holding Arnett in place. He knelt down putting one hand around her left arm just below the shoulder. The binding electricity suddenly constricted making her weakly cry out while his grip tightened. With one powerful tug her left arm tore off spraying blood onto the wolf's form. A blood curdling scream echoed from her throat as she thrashed against the bindings.

The werewolf stood up facing forward only to see an unexpected someone within striking distance. Izarha's blue eyes glowed with fury as her fist made contact with his gut. At the moment of impact the Nova added an explosive force generating a concussive blast that further cracked concrete around them. Bright green blood splashed from the wolf's mouth before the force launched him away from the redhead. He crashed through a corner section of a building and past it.

Izarha watched him vanish from her sight before sighing. That should wake him up from its influence.

Morrison stopped dead in his tracks at the sight next to the Halion Nova. "A-Ar-Arnett?" The Limiter stammered taking in the blood soaked body of his partner. His eyes quickly found the dull unconscious eyes of the scythe user and the vicious injuries.

"I was hoping to be wrong." Josh said shaking her head then looking to the severed arm of the Pandora. "Can you heal her Izarha?"

"She needs to be stabilized first." The Nova replied.

Josh nodded then turned to Carmine. "Get the medic teacher now." The Nova-slayer vanished with a burst of movement and blue-white light.

"Why?" Morrison whispered falling to his knees next to the unconscious Pandora.

Izarha watched the young male silently as tears flowed down his face. A sense of fear and pain radiated from the boy, but there was something else she could pick up on. It was not long before an electric boom erupted not far from them displaying Elize in a dark green t-shirt, black skirt ending at mid thigh with stockings, and short heels. Her eyes widened considerably at sight of Arnett.

Seconds went by before the shock was replaced with composed calm. "We need to get her to the medical bay quickly!" She said loudly with Josh and Carmine nodding in unison. The two Nova-slayers carefully picked up the unconscious Pandora. Elize collected the detached left arm guiding the two in haste to the hospital.

"Fear." Izarha said, her voice jolting the Limiter. He stood up then faced the Nova, looking up due to her greater height. "An emotion that can bring out the worst in anyone. That is something that drives you, boy." She said poking Morrison's chest once with a finger. "You fear for the health of your mother who needs expensive medical care that you can only get for her as long as you remain enrolled in Genetics. If you leave for any reason she would stop getting that care."

Morrison took several steps back with a few more tears silently running down his face. "How d-do you k-know?"

Izarha tapped her head a few times. "I got that from your mind, besides what I could sense from you generally."

Morrison's head hung down so his bangs blocked sight of his eyes. With one arm the Limiter wiped away the tears that had been shed. After a pause Morrison took slow steps away from the Nova. "I need answers." He muttered though Izarha heard him.

She watched the Limiter walk away with his head down with some form of determination in his steps. That boy is going to march to his own death. She mused then a jolt went through her body. That better not be what I think it is... The Nova closed her eyes before vanishing in a flash of bright blue light after a few seconds.

What he did was cruel. Morrison ground out in his mind. Thinking of his Pandora partner in such a damaged state made his blood hot with anger. For some time nothing stood in his way with the student body mostly inside the school buildings. However a flash of light and heat made the boy look up. At the same time Morrison's face bounced off the ample chest of a female before he fell to the ground. Where did she come from? He thought before his face flashed deep red.

The woman before him stood still in nothing but dark blue bra and panties. "You seem distracted kid." She said keeping red eyes on Morrion's own. After a pause the green haired woman sighed with fire erupting around her. The Limiter immediately scooted back several feet to be safe. The fire persisted for ten seconds then vanished, revealing her to be dressed in dark red pants and matching tube top.

Morrison stood up then brushed off his pants. After that he started walking again passing the green haired woman. "Sorry." He said passing the elemental.

She waited for the Limiter to be several feet past her before speaking. "Do you wish to die?"

"Huh?" Morrison said turning around to face the elemental. She had also turned around fixing him with an unnerving stare.

"I'll say this again: do you wish to die?"

Morrison shook his head. "No." He answered weakly.

The air around the two heated up without warning. "If you went to try to talk to Mad Dog he'd kill you without hesitation."

"Kill me?" He repeated with wide eyes.

The elemental nodded slowly. "You mean nothing to the werewolf and are the type of person who is more often than not a liability on a battlefield." She said with a cold tone. The boy before her took a step back seemingly shrinking under her gaze. "If you really want to confront him I will simply kill you for that kind of stupidity."

The two stood silently before flames flickered into view around the elemental. However her eyes shifted off of him to something else. Josh appeared before the human without warning shocking him. Her fist hammered into his gut silencing any form of protest that might have left Morrison's mouth. She picked up the Limiter with ease, draping him over one of her shoulders. "That was a bit far Jessie."

The elemental shrugged as the flames disappeared along with the heat around her. "He needed to know the truth of what he was going to do."

Josh sighed. "I suppose." She said walking towards the second year male dorm. "Find out what is wrong with this kid's mother and tell Cayton so she can fix it." Feeling a discharge of energy that is the signature of Jessie or Mad Dog teleporting away via electricity she smiled a bit. Hopefully having his mother's health problem fixed will ease the stress on the kid's mind. She thought ignoring the few stares from students leaving the main buildings.

OoOoOoOoOoOo

"Do you know why you are here, Dr. Amelia Cayton?" Radox said with a clear tone of authority while the other men in the room stayed silent. The Halion scientist stood opposite of him where the table did not extend. Her hands were relaxed in the pockets of her skirt, completely at ease.

"I'm not quite sure, so enlighten me." She said with a slight grin focusing her gaze on Radox who faltered a little. Briefly a look of anger crossed his face before composing himself.

"You have been called before this board to answer questions in regards to information you have been withholding from Chevalier." Radox explained seeing the woman's smirk grow slightly. She doesn't seem intimidated by any of us. It is almost as if she is amused. He noted mentally.

"Information about what?" Cayton said glancing to each of the men in the room before settling her gaze back on Radox. "About Halion and Nova-slayers?" She paused noting the confused faces of the men. Only Gengo Aoi didn't display shock on his face, though she was certain his mind was working quickly. "It isn't withholding information if you didn't ask about those things in the first place boys."

"You dare mock our age Cayton?!" Two older men next to Gengo shouted slamming a fist onto the table each, while the Nova scientist sighed.

Suddenly Cayton's eyes focused on the two gray haired men. An aura of darkness and death materialized around the woman making both men struggle to breath. "I can mock your age all I want, or do you not respect your elders?" The tone was dangerous and laced with potential violence.

"If that is the case how old does that make you Dr. Cayton?" Gengo asked seeing the aura around the only female in the room vanish the next moment.

"I was mortal once over twenty thousand years ago." Cayton answered with a distant look crossing her face for some moments before it was gone. "Now what kind of questions do you have Commander-in-Chief Radox?"

Over twenty thousand years old and she looks perfectly human! Radox's mind whirled. How the hell was that possible? Did she have some sort of internal machinery that kept her alive so long? If there is technology that can keep a human alive for that long on this other world Chevalier must get their hands on it. "How powerful are Nova-slayers versus the Pandora of this world?"

"It varies." Cayton replied getting Radox gesturing with one hand to continue. "Like the Pandora of this world the Nova-slayers of Halion have different levels of strength. Meaning that some of the most powerful of Pandora can be a match for the lower classes of Nova-slayers, but are powerless against the stronger ones."

"Why are there Nova-slayers, as you call them, on Earth if they come from another world?" One of the other men asked, a younger one with a tailored suit and slicked back brown hair.

"Some of the Nova-slayers and their families left Halion after the military collapsed that was fighting the Nova. They left to a world where they thought it best to live." Cayton shrugged.

"Why did you not tell us about the soldiers from Halion that were among us?" Radox asked gaining her attention. The room remained silent for nearly a minute then Cayton stretched her arms over her head.

"Everyone is entitled to keep secrets, are they not?" She said causing Radox to grit his teeth in annoyance. "I did not-" she stopped mid sentence with a flash of bright blue-white light appearing to her left. It persisted for a few seconds then faded out, letting the humans see some sort of design in the air behind the being that had materialized.

The being next to Cayton looked remarkably human who had some form of angular armor covering her features. She removed the winged helmet revealing an attractive face with a few minor scars visible and flowing white hair. However the glowing blue eyes denoted her as something not human. The pupil design was one all too familiar to the aged Nova scientist.

"Why did you teleport to me Korrel?" Cayton asked tilting her head slightly with a raised eyebrow.

"Thel'ka has awakened." The Nova said getting a visible jolt out of the Halion scientist.

"Awakened?!" Cayton repeated taking a step back in shock which her face displayed clearly.

I honestly had some trouble thinking of Gengo's lines for this chapter. He is not the easiest one to write.
