I DON'T OWN YU YU HAKUSHO
Now in one of my reviews someone said that she thought that they were in the dark tournament. she was quite sad i think about that. The only reason that im following the story line is because i have yet to see people do that in their stories. well follow it exactly is what i mean. I didn't know if anyone got this but Cherumi's brother, Jubei, is actually the little boy in the anime series that Yusuke saves. That little boy is the reason for how this story started. With one little question in my mind.
What if that little boy had an older sister?
NOW, ON WITH THE STORY!
Chapter Fourteen(A.K.A Episode 12)
We all stood in silence, staring at Kazamaru's unconscious body.
"Well since he doesn't seem to be moving you're going to have to fight around him." Genkai stated. I looked at her with wide eyes.
"Genkai!" I looked at the body then to Yusuke. "Come help me move his body." I told him. He stared at me like I just grew two heads.
"No." I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Yusuke." He flinched at the stern sound in my voice and walked over with me to the ninja's body. I picked up his arms while Yusuke got his legs. We quickly moved the body next to where Genaki and The rest where standing. I was panting slightly while Yusuke looked like he lifted nothing.
Shorin and Kuwabara walked over to the center of the field, facing each other and waiting for Genkai's signal. I looked at Shorin. Our eyes connected and he gave me a smile. I gave him a smile back. Even though he was a dangerous demon doesn't mean I can't be polite to him.
Botan turned her pink gaze to me. "How did you know that Shorin was Rando?"
I looked at her and put my finger against my shin in a thinking way.
"I'm sure Rando has gone through many disguises, right? I think Rando took the form of a child to keep inconspicuous and because the first thing that pops into a persons head, when thinking of some as powerful as Rando, he would be this big muscle guy." I then continued. "In other words he was trying to throw you off." I said finishing off with a smile.
Botan blinked with a surprised look on her face. She opened her mouth but then closed it and turned to look back at the battle. I guess I surprised her.
"Hey Kuwabara!" I looked toward the voice and saw Yusuke running up to the orange haired boy. Probably went to tell him that he is fighting a powerful demon. Hopefully. I saw them talk in hushed voices until it turned into yelling at each other. I sighed. So much for being secretive. I walked over to them and whacked over the head with my bag.
"This isn't high school, you too!" I scolded. "This is serious. Yusuke, let's go so they can continue the fight." I grabbed Yusuke by his ear and dragged him back to stand next to Botan. When I let go Yusuke rubbed his ear and stuck his tongue out at me like a child.
"Begin!" Genkai said, signaling for the battle to start.
They bot charged at each other. Kuwabara lifted his fist and punched Shorin with so much force it knocked him back a feet or two. Yusuke and Kuwabara's faces where shocked. I felt a little bit of guilt for Rando. Even though he is powerful that looked like it hurt.
Shorin then ran to attack Kuwabara throwing punches and kicks left to right. He was fighting sloppily. Kuwabara hit him square on the head causing all his hits to stop. I looked at Yusuke and he looked like he was doubting that Shorin is Rando.
"Don't judge a book by its cover, Yusuke." I said. He looked at me confused, then turned his attention back to the fight with a shrug of his shoulders. I sighed. he didn't get it.
Shorin got into a stance once he got up and began to make hand motions. A ball of fire formed in his hands. I was in awe. I clapped my hands a smile on my face.
"Cherri! Whose side are you on!" Yusuke yelled.
"Kuwabara's." I said like it was the obvious thing in the world.
"Then why are you clapping for the other guy!" He yelled his face turning red.
"Yusuke, Just because I clap for the other guy doesn't automatically mean I'm on his side." I explained with my arm crossed. Yusuke just huffed and turned back to watch the fight.
Shorin lifted his other hand and the same thing happened. It was interesting.
Shorin threw the fire orbs, Kuwabara quickly made a sword out of energy with a piece of wood as the hilt. My eye's widened in shock. (A.N: Remember everyone Cherumi wasn't there for Kuwabara's first fight.)
"Amazing!" I cheered. I never knew Kuwabara had such a power. He swung the sword like a bat causing one of the fire balls to launch back and hit Shorin in the stomach.
"Man, those bitches were pretty nasty," Kuwabara said with a smug smirk. "but nothing compared to the old batting cages at home." (A.N: Kuwabara actually says this in the anime.)
"Kuwabara! Language!" I yelled. He ignored me. Shorin began to chant some words. I looked to Genkai.
"What's Shorin doing?" Genkai didn't glance at me but still answered my question.
"I thought that fire ball attack looked familiar. Ages ago, two renown masters spent their whole lives trying to perfect the circle of fire with this chant." Genkai explained.
"What does this chant do." Yusuke asked.
"That isn't the point. What matters is that the only ones who could have taught this boy have been dead for centuries."
"Lady you just proved something for me once and for all." Yusuke said.
Kuwabara charged at Shorin, but as he was about to hit him Kuwabara shrunk. Shorin grabbed the small Kuwabara and started to squeeze him. He began to play with him, as if he was a toy. Shorin then ripped Kuwabara's sleeve to his uniform.
"I wonder how fragile, the human bones are once they've become small." Shorin then gripped Kuwabara's arm and began to bend it.
"Kuwabara!" I uelled worriedly.
SNAP!
My eyes widened, pupils dilating. He broke his arm.
"KUWABARA!" I screamed. His face was frozen in pain. It looked like he couldn't breathe.
"That was a fun experiment. Now let's try the rib cage." Shorin then began to squeeze Kuwabara again. Yusuke marched up to Genkai.
"I can't stand this lady! I'm going in there!"
"No." Genkai said stopping Yusuke from walking over there. "I'll call the fight." She then raised her voice. "That's enough Shorin!"
Shorin began to tighten his hold on Kuwabara. You could hear the bones creaking. Kuwabara began to yell in pain.
"Stop it!" I yelled tears forming in my eyes. Botan watched the scene with her hands over her mouth, her pink eyes wide.
"You bastard!" Yusuke yelled as he ran toward the boy. Shorin smiled and threw Kuwabara like he was nothing. I gasped and ran. I caught Kuwabara but lost my balance and fell back mud flying in the air. I looked down at Kuwabara, who was resting in my hands. He was shaking in pain.
"Oh, Kuwabara..." Tears fell down my face as I looked at his arm. I said soft words to him, telling him that he was going to be fine. I set him down on my lap and curled my body around his small form when Shorin began to saying another chant. Suddenly, Kuwabara grew back to his original form but I still kept my body over his, not wanting Shorin to do anything else.
"Oh my god." Yusuke whispered. More tears fell down my face at the words. It was bad. Kuwabara's body was twisted. Both his arms are broken and his ribs.
"I don't know if these wounds will heal." Botan said.
"They will heal!" I yelled determinably, my body still over Kuwabara's broken one. More tears fell down my face, my body shaking. He will heal. He will.
Kuwabara turned his head to face Yusuke.
"I won't die, Uremeshi. Not even if all my bones are broken. We still need to have...our...fight." He lost conscious after that.
"Yeah," Yusuke's voice was soft. "that's right." I looked up at Yusuke and saw that his hands were clenched. He's mad. I looked back down at Kuwabara. I placed my hands over his torso and closed my eyes. I didn't want to hear what Shorin was saying I just wanted Kuwabara to heal.
I heard Botan gasp. I stopped and opened my eyes. Kuwabara's face looked peaceful. I whipped my head toward Botan.
"What did I do?" I asked franticly, the words coming out fast. Botan looked Kuwabara over.
"I don't know but whatever you did managed to make Kuwabara's injuries less severe." I stared at her. The words went over my head. "It means that all Kuwabara has to do is get some rest for a couple of days and he will be fine." I began to cry again, this time wailing loudly. Botan began to wave her arms around franticly.
"Cherumi! That's a good thing!"
"I-I Know!" I wailed. A soft smile appeared on her face and she patted my back, comfortingly. I felt someone put their hand on my head but I didn't need to see to know who it was. Her comforting aura was enough to know the identity.
I rubbed my eyes and looked at the field to see Yusuke and Shorin facing each other.
"You better win Yusuke!" I yelled.
Yusuke charged at Shorin and punched him square in the jaw. Yusuke's fist seemed to glow when he punched him. Shorin was sent flying a few feet.
"I've stiil got 99 more." Yusuke said. "One for every psychic you stole."
Yusuke sharged at him again. His fist where like bullets. They were fast. Shorin then jumped in the air and stayed there.
"I see." I looked at Genkai.
"What is Shiorin doing?" I asked worriedly.
"I once knew a fighter who made quite a name for himself with this attack. It creates a vacuum around the opponent, sucking all the air through their cuts until nothing is left." My eyes widened at the information. I looked toward Yusuke. Shorin attacked causing wind to whip around the battle field.
Yusuke was hit in the chest and flew back landing on the ground with a hard 'thud'. Yusuke stood back up and ran toward Shorin again. Shorin attacked again but this time Yusuke actually got him this time. He knocked Shorin down. He was out cold before he hit the ground.
"Yusuke! Don't walk away from him!" I yelled. He looked back Shorin's body and saw that it was changing. Suddenly the ground cracked open and a body emerged.
Yusuke's real battle begins now.
Finally! Rando is here. I was getting bored looking at Shorin's face all the time.
