Thank you to all the readers and reviewers, y'all are amazinnnggg! Thank you, thank you, thank you! It's taking me really long to update because I've been really busy, I'm sorry! Anyway, please review if you have any comments or suggestions on anything, I'll be happy to try and incorporate them. Next chapter will be like a walk down memory lane, if any of you have some funny ideas for that, let me know. :)

Disclaimer: I don't own the characters, obviously, otherwise Deyna would be all over each other by now. ;)

Deacon woke up first and saw that Rayna had turned on her other side and that she was barely touching him. Of course she had stolen all the covers, as usual, and he was cold. He looked at the nightstand and the alarm read 7:00. He groaned a little, if was so early! He turned to Rayna and looked at her sleeping figure. Her beautiful and perfect hair was messy and covered her face a little, he moved it out of the way so he could look at her. She looked so peaceful, she was really sent down from heaven, he thought. Her mouth was a bit open and he fought the urge to run his lips over hers. He lifted up the covers and scooted closer to her and wrapped his arm around her waist. She felt the shift in the mattress and subconsciously pressed her body into his. He felt her whole body against him and he slowly pressed his lips to the back of her neck. Rayna felt the kiss and had woken up but kept her eyes closed and her breathing shallow so that she could feel everything he was doing to her already. She loved the feel of his lazy kisses in the morning and how each one would be dragged out because he hadn't woken up yet. He moved his lips to the side of her neck, Rayna wanted to feel his lips on hers so she turned around to face him but kept her eyes closed. Deacon smiled knowing that she wanted him to kiss her, but he didn't give her what she wanted, that would be to easy. He kissed the other side of her neck now that she had turned around and dragged out his kisses. Rayna turned her head towards him searching for his lips but he pulled away. She opened her eyes now and gave him a look as if to say, why do you tease me like this. He just smiled and she wanted to kiss that smirk right off his face so she moved towards him and she could feel his breath on her lips and she had just brushed them when he pulled away. She knew he did this on purpose. She left her lips parted, waiting for him to kiss her. She was driving him crazy by keeping her mouth open like that and he ran his index finger on her lips and ran his finger tip where her mouth was parted and then he ran it over her lips again. He kept his eyes on her lips and Rayna shuddered. She entwined her fingers with his so that his fingers weren't touching her lips anymore and their eyes locked. He smiled at her and she flashed him his favorite smile. He leaned in and kissed her, capturing her lower lip. She kissed him more urgently and pulled him onto her. They continued like this till it was to much to take and they gave into each other. When they were done Rayna rested her her head on her hand so that she could look down at him and kissed him, "morning babe." He laughed, "yeah it's a good morning."

She put her head down on his shoulder, "you know what?" He shook his head, "no, what?" "I missed you so much when I was married to Teddy, let's just say he wasn't very good in the bedroom." Deacon laughed because what else could he do, he had thought about that when she was married to Teddy. She laughed too, "it wasn't funny, it sucked actually. I missed out on fourteen years of this." He kept laughing, "no, it's kind of funny but I'm sorry that you weren't able to feel good." She smiled, "well, I felt good when I was dreaming." "When you were dreaming?" Rayna nodded, "yeah you know it wasn't reality but it felt like it and it felt good." Deacon got it then, "are you saying you dreamt of me when your husband was in bed with you?" Rayna blushed and nodded. Deacon took pride in that and smiled. He scooted down so he could kiss her, he wanted to comfort her, to show her that he was there now. She smiled against his lips and asked tentatively, "did you ever dream of me?" Deacon pulled back and looked at her. When he didn't answer she looked hurt but she didn't know that he had dreamed of her almost every night, she didn't know that that's all he thought about when he was with other women, she didn't know that he compared all of them to her even though he picked the ones that didn't look like her at all. He smiled, "I dreamed about you almost every night Ray, you're hard to forget." She was glad to hear it and she smiled, "so I'm not the only crazy one over here." He laughed at that and she joined him. They kissed again and then Rayna's phone rang. She pulled back to see who it was and saw that it was Tandy. She ignored it, "it's just Tandy I'll see her in a bit." Deacon nodded, "do you have to go?" "Yeah I actually do. I have to get some stuff done." She pulled back and got up leaving Deacon alone. She stood next to the bed looking for her clothes. He shook his head and laid back down, "your clothes are in the living room Ray." "Right!" She found her underwear and put them on. She leaned over the bed and kissed Deacon, "thanks for last night and this morning." He kissed her back, "I'll call you." She walked into the living room and was about to walk out the door but stopped. She went back to the bedroom and Deacon looked surprised. She smiled, "I love you." He smiled back, "love you to."

Rayna had left in a rush only because she wanted to call the owner of the house so that she could meet up with him. She really wanted the house, and from the conversation she had had with Deacon the night before she realized he did too. She drove home and when she got there Tandy was having her morning coffee. When she walked into the kitchen her sister looked her up and down and Rayna said, "what?" Tandy shook her head, "how was last night?" Rayna smiled, "it was good, he made dinner for us." Tandy smiled back, "and then...?" Rayna's smile was giving her away, "and then I told him to screw the agreement." Tandy laughed, "how was it?" Rayna said, "it was needed." Tandy laughed again. Rayna smiled and poured herself a cup of coffee, "so, I want to buy the house that Deacon had bought for us." Tandy contemplated this, "that's a good idea, have you two talked about this?" Rayna nodded. "So you would be buying it together?" Rayna said, "we haven't talked about that yet, but yes that's what we- I want." Tandy nodded in agreement and Rayna continued, "we were talking about breaking down that house and building a new one so that we could have the land but a new house, with new memories, good memories." Tandy smiled, "that sounds really good. Do you want me to look up the number of the owner?" Rayna nodded and Tandy looked up the number. Rayna dialed it and put it on loud speaker. "Hello?" "Hi, this is Rayna Jaymes. I'm calling to talk about the house you have on sale." "Ms. Jaymes, I'm a big fan, what can I help you with?" "Well thank you. I was wondering if I could come see it? I'm interested in buying it." "Of course you can. What time would be good for you?" Rayna looked at the time it was nine, "would twelve be fine?" "Yeah that works. I'll see you there." Rayna was happy to hear that the house was indeed for sale and that the owner had no problem in selling.

Back at his house, Deacon, had gotten up and taken a shower. He was now looking for the number of the owner of the old house. When he found it online he called. "Hello?" "Hey, this is Deacon Claybourne." "Oh Deacon, it's so nice to hear from you again." "Same goes for you, Tom. Did you keep the house in good shape?" Tom said, "yeah, it's up for sale." Deacon said, "I know that's why I'm calling, I want to buy it. Do you think I could come see it?" Tom looked at the time, "of course! I have another person coming to see it at twelve how about you come at twelve thirty?" Deacon nodded, "sounds good, I'll see you then." Deacon smiled, he couldn't wait to tell Rayna that Tom was actually very willing to sell the house but he wanted to wait till after he saw it.

Rayna drove to the house and was there at exactly 12. Tom had just gotten there and he walked towards her extending a hand out. "I'm Tom, what a pleasure to meet you." Rayna smiled, "thank you, it's nice to meet you too." They made their way towards the house and before he put the key in to open it Rayna laughed. He looked confused, "is something wrong?" Rayna shook her head, "no it's just that that was Deacon's key, see that drop of black nail polish?" Tom had never noticed it before because it was so small. Rayna's key had a drop of pink nail polish so that they each knew who's key was who's. "Wow! I never noticed it before." Rayna smiled too and Tom opened the door. Rayna inhaled before passing the threshold, she felt kind of weak. "I'll leave you to it," Tom said as he stepped back. Rayna nodded and walked in. She couldn't believe she was in this house again! She saw the same scratches in the floor that had been there, the same places where the paint had chipped a bit, and then she saw the same furniture. An involuntary tear escaped her eye when she saw that white couch. She walked towards it and sat down. It was bittersweet touching that again. She ran her hand over the fabric of the couch reminiscing all the nights she had spent there cuddled up with Deacon. She smiled and looked around the room. Then she got up and walked around the room, it felt as if she had gone back in time. She continued to walk around the house. The kitchen where they had had breakfast and cooked meals together. The countertop where more than just meals were shared. A warmness settled in her chest. Then she walked to the bedroom area. She walked to the master bedroom first with a smile on her face. She leaned against the door frame looking at the bed. She smiled when she realized it was the same one.

Deacon had arrived for his appointment ten minutes early and exchanged small talk with Tom and then Tom said, "Rayna is here." Deacon was surprised, "Rayna as in Rayna Jaymes?" Tom laughed and nodded. Deacon smiled and walked towards the house. He slowed down when he got to the entrance and took a deep breath before stepping inside. Rayna heard someone walking in, expecting it to be Tom. She walked back to the entrance and was surprised at who was actually there. Deacon looked at her and smiled, she smiled back. They just stood there in the entrance of that house looking at each other, not saying a word. Deacon spoke first, "I guess we thought about doing the same thing. Talking to the owner to see if the house was actually available and all." Rayna smiled and walked towards him, "yeah, I guess we did." She wrapped her arms around his neck so that she could kiss him and Deacon kissed her back. Rayna pulled away first, "I'm going to leave you so you can look at everything by yourself." Deacon shook his head, "you can stay." Rayna smiled and led him to the living room. They didn't talk as they walked through the house. They just held hands and looked at everything that was the same, nothing had really changed. When they go to the door of their old bedroom Rayna nudged him, "they didn't change the bed." Deacon looked down at her, "maybe they should have." Rayna laughed under her breath and Deacon leaned down to kiss her again. Their kiss was becoming heated and they had forgotten that Tom was still there till they heard someone walking in the other area of the house. Deacon pulled away from her and led her to the kitchen were Tom was waiting for them. They talked to Tom and decided that they were going to buy the house together. Tom was more than happy to give them the house back again and they said they would work out the details in the next few days. However, they asked him if if he minded if they went back in the next few days because they wanted to show the girls. Tom said it was no problem and that they could go whenever they wanted because him and his family had already moved out. He trusted them and knew that they would buy the house.

They all walked out and Tom left first. "So, the girls are still with Teddy today, do you think we can sneak in the house tonight?" Deacon smiled, "I think I would like that." Rayna smiled and kissed him, "I'll see you here at eight." Deacon nodded, "that sounds good." They both drove back to their houses and Rayna told Tandy what had happened. Tandy was happy to hear that Rayna and Deacon were on the same page and wanted to buy the house together. She had lunch with her sister and then Rayna called Juliette to ask her if she wanted to join Highway 65.
Juliette was surprised to see Rayna calling: "Hey?"
Rayna: "Hi Juliette. I was wondering if you could come over to Tandy's. We have something we want to talk to you about?"
Juliette was surprised but intrigued: "Umm sure. When?"
Rayna: "How about now?"
Juliette: "Okay, I'm on my way."
When Juliette got there Rayna opened the door and led her to the living room where she had three mugs of coffee already made. One for her, one for Juliette, and one for Tandy. They said their hellos and then sat down. Rayna watched as Juliette smiled after she took a sip of her coffee, Rayna had remembered how she liked it from when they had written Wrong Song. The two country stars smiled at each other. Rayna said, "I'm sorry to hear about all the crap they are saying about you. Reporters should just mind their own business." Juliette smiled and Rayna went on, "we were wondering if you wanted to join my label." Juliette was taken aback, "you want ME to join your label?" Rayna nodded and couldn't believe she was actually admitting this to her, "mhm, I think you're a great songwriter and I need acts." Juliette smiled, "that sounds really good. Thank you." Tandy smiled, "however we need you to put 2 million dollars into the production. If I'm not mistaken that's what you made on the tour with Rayna." Juliette nodded, "yeah that's right. I'm honored to be on your label. Honestly, I need to get away from Jeff he is an asshole." Rayna laughed, "at least we agree on something! See, this could work." Juliette smiled, "yeah, it could. So all I have to do is send you 2 million dollars?" Tandy nodded, "yeah and you need to buy yourself out of the contract with Edgehill, otherwise your records stay with them and they can do whatever they want with them." Juliette nodded, "okay so I'll talk to Glenn and Emily about it and see what they think, not that it is their decision to make, but they are part of my team." Rayna and Tandy both agreed to that and told her to get back to them about it. Juliette was getting up to leave but Rayna stopped her, "do you want to stay for lunch?" Juliette smiled, "sure, I could use the company." Juliette couldn't believe that she was going to be on the same label as her idol, it felt unreal.
