Library II

For once Miranda got to hang out with Gordo without Lizzie for a change. She liked it not because she was tired of her other best friend, but because when it was all three of them, Gordo payed attention to Lizzie. Today they were hanging out alone, at the library.

"What books are you into Miranda," Gordo asked as he opened the Library door for her.

"Eh, I'm not really into books that much." Miranda scratched the back of her neck. They walked into the Library and passed the children's books.

"You should be," Gordo said as he poked at some books on a shelf. "Books stimulate the mind." He tapped his head.

"I know." Miranda rolled her eyes. "But I just can't get into any books."

"You don't know if you don't try." Gordo pulled out some books and put some back.

"I don't have the attention span to read books."

"I'm sure if you found the best book, you'd never be able to put it down."

"Doubt it," Miranda said, scanning her finger across a row of books.

"Well of course you won't with that attitude. Come on, I'll help you find a book."

Miranda followed Gordo to the back of the library.

"You just need to know how to search. The best books are usually in the back," Gordo told her as he scanned the shelves. Miranda put her hands on her hips and tapped a foot on the floor.

"How about you pick out a book for me?" Miranda suggested.

Gordo raised his eyebrows. "Are you sure?"

Miranda nodded. "Go for it."

"Alright."

Gordo started to look through all the shelves for the perfect book which made Miranda smile as she watched him.
