Hey guys! I'm back! Here's chapter 14 as promised. :) Please also check out my oneshots for PJO Ship Weeks!

Disclaimer: I do not own PJO!

(Silena's POV)

Oh my gods. Oh my GODS! I can't believe I just broke up Percabeth. I thought they were inseparable, that nothing could break them apart, but this was one of the few times that I had been wrong. And now here I am, trapped in the Aphrodite Cabin because I'm too ashamed to face my peers, pacing back and forth wondering to the gods what I had ever did to them to deserve this torture, and most importantly, questioning Percabeth's break-up. I assumed it was something either my mother, Aphrodite, or I had done. A camper had reported that Annabeth was mad at Percy because he accused her mother of causing the bird attack. But if I knew both of them, I knew that they wouldn't have argued about something that simple that would cause them to break-up. Needless to say, people hate me. My siblings claimed my magazine column had"drove them apart with lies," while the rest of the camp was just furious with my mother.

I currently sat on my bunk in my cabin with the few people that would still talk to me. Thalia and Clarisse were already at each other's throats, though they looked uncomfortable with the amount of perfume in this room. Katie also sat there awkwardly, shifting in her seat.

"That girl jumped ship before it sunk," Clarisse had said, praising Annabeth. "Prissy was going to disappoint her some day."

"Shut up, Clarisse." Thalia snapped. "Even I have the guts NOT to gut Kelp Head, we all knew how much they were in love with each other, something doesn't add up." she thought.

"Well, math aside. They both seem completely fine now, Sparky, the Athena girl seems even happier. She's been designing buildings all week, probably knee deep in all her equations and blueprints." the daughter of Ares rebutted.

"You call that okay?" I asked incredulously. "She might be in depression and we won't even know it! Trust me, that's what love does to you."

"Annie is stronger than that." Thalia stated. Her electric blue eyes seemed to dart at everyone, daring them to deny her statement, no one did. Her glare spooked everyone, even Clarisse had looked mystified from her eyeliner clad eyes. "Besides, what is love but an emotion that gives people way too much power over you?"

That is when she did it.

"Thalia Grace," I started, knowing she didn't like her last name being used, I purposely said it. She took a sharp breath in, mission complete. "Just because you couldn't find love because the guy you thought had loved you ditched you, doesn't mean the rest of us don't have a life. I know what love is, thank you very much, since I am the daughter of the love goddess, whereas you should just shut up. If my love failed me to fight with the enemy, I'm sure I would have hated love too, but guess what? He was a fake, and he never loved you, he loved Annabeth, so just get. Over. It. You never loved him either, you just thought you did, because if you had really loved him, you would've have walked to the ends of the earth just to get him. So you, Thalia Grace, all powerful daughter of Zeus," I spat, taking a haste breath. "Have no idea what love is."

Whoa, I exhaled. I needed to let that out. I probably shouldn't have hit so close to home though, Thalia was actually crying, or close to it at least, her eyes were glassy. Darn right, she loved Luke, she still did actually and had probably joined the Hunters to numb herself from the pain. Thalia did what was right for the others and not herself, if she had joined Luke in the Second Titan War, we would have lost the Hunters as our allies. We would have lost the war. After my sudden outburst, she got up from my pink duvet covers without saying another word and walked towards the direction of the door, but my voice stopped her.

"But you are partially right," I continued, attempting some form of an apology. "Love gives people immense power over you, because they know when you love someone, you will go to desperate measures for them." But Thalia never returned my gaze.

(Third person POV)

Athena was celebrating. Aphrodite and the rest of the other ten Olympians were thoroughly saddened, as were some of the muses and the minor gods. The whole mood of Olympus was no where near celebratory, but still, the wisdom goddess persisted. "I knew my daughter would come to her senses!" she exclaimed, literally floating towards the temple of the love goddess. "Aphrodite! I was right again, you can never doubt me!"

"But I do, sister." the love goddess said, turning around in a chair that was in front of her mirror. Her station was like a dressing room of a famous celebrity, three gigantic mirrors and drawers filled with makeup. She set her makeup onto a table and stood up, staring straight into the wisdom goddess's gray eyes. "They both obviously still love each other." Aphrodite snapped her fingers and the mirror she was glued to just a second ago showed the two demigods who were, in fact, deeply in love with each other.

"You lie, Aphrodite." Athena dead panned.

"Can't you tell, you're supposed to be the smart one. She yearns for his love right now, but she's drowning herself into her work. It's not healthy for her. She's living her life like he doesn't exist." Aphrodite observed.

The blonde daughter of Athena sat hunched over her desk, blueprints all round her work area, and furiously scribbling something on a sheet of lined paper. The son of Poseidon slumped on his bed, staring blankly at the fountain in his cabin. His eyebrows were furrowed and he frowned as the design he was making in the water dispersed.

"Which is how she should've lived her life in the first place, and do not question my knowledge." Athena sneered. "It's her choice, and in fact, I am proud that she is now focusing on her career and not investing all her attention into that sea spawn."

Aphrodite shrugged. "It's also your choice in what you believe in, but face it, Athena. We both know you're lying to yourself." she smirked.

"They do not love each other." and with that, the wisdom goddess stormed out of the love goddess's temple, a scowl seemingly etched permanently into her face.

Okay, so this wasn't my best chapter, but I swear it is completely necessary to get the story moving on. :) I did a lot of foreshadowing here, so let's see if you guys can guess what's going to happen. (*HINT*) Also, please give me some ideas for Chris/Clarisse week! (it would be helpful to know their couple name too. :D I always thought it was Claris or Chrisse, it's hard, their names are so close.) Thanks a bunch! Feel free to PM me or put your ideas in your reviews!
