A/N: To all those who were expecting something new, sorry. I figured that I should put this with everything else like it... I may add to this soon with all my other miscellaneous stuff saved on my computer.
I will, however, be putting up something new soon, so I guess you have that to look forward to. (user weishou fei, if you're reading this, I promise one day I'll do something for Music Up)
"The exit's closing!" Hua shouted to the others, panic in his voice. "Huohaha must be closing the portal connecting the book to our world! At this speed, only one of us will be able to make it back!"
"Kai, you go!" Tian said. "You can fight and defeat him!"
Kai looked at Hua, at Chu, at Xiao, who all nodded.
He reached out, grabbed Tian's wrist, and hurled her toward the rapidly-closing exit.
The last thing she saw was the four of them smiling at her.

When Huohaha fired that bolt of energy at the book, he had expected for it to be destroyed, along with all those still trapped inside.
He hadn't expected the girl to be there, a fierce look on her face, a forcefield around her and the book.
"So, your friends send the dead weight of their group as fodder to protect them?" the magician sneered.
"No one would entrust their only chance of survival to someone they thought useless!" Tian retorted. "I know they believe in me to protect the book and get them out, and I won't let them down!"

He was too strong. She knew that. She would have to reconnect the portal and get her friends out of the book if this powered-up, twisted version of Huohaha was to be defeated.
But he was battering her relentlessly with shots from the staff, leaving no break she could take advantage of. The one attack she had managed to pull off, while he was still surprised, had hardly done anything, and it was one of her strongest while unarmored. Calling her Car Knight now was out of the question. She was reduced to focusing everything on keeping her forcefield up, because if she wavered, if her power broke and even one blast got through...
"This ends now," Huohaha snarled, raising the glowing staff - and then, as if someone was answering her prayers, something flew toward him from the side, gray and blue and black... a television?
Huohaha, in his rage-clouded state, started furiously attacking the area from which the object had come from, burying it in rubble.
Tian dropped the forcefield and reconnected the portal, her eyes briefly closing from exhaustion. When she opened them, she saw her friends before her, fully armored and ready for battle.
"You did great, Tian!" Kai grinned. "Leave the rest to us!"

The fight passed in a blur for her, but in the end, the villain was sent flying, Xiaohaha's magic was restored, the Globe Leader was finally awakened (and could tackle all that paperwork waiting for him), and all was well.
"I must return," said Xiaohaha after performing the magic. "This book... I will entrust it to all of you." And the old magician disappeared with a flash into its pages.
Kai stared at the book in his hands with a mixture of surprise and sadness, but the mood was quickly broken by Hua.
"Tian!" he said. "This time it was all thanks to you that we won, so I have decided to give you this wonderful battle outfit as a gift!" He held out a pink sweater.
Inwardly she groaned - he still remember that time she had tried to knit for Doctor? - but then she saw the words on the clothing.
"Minor Character"
"HUA!" she screeched, chasing after him a bit before stopping as a thought occurred to her. "But it was pretty strange," she mused. "I only managed to do it because of that TV distracting him..."
There was a sharp intake of breath and they all looked over to where Xiao had been digging through the rubble. They saw him staring in shock at the silhouette etched into the wall, of someone all too familiar.
"...Kalo..."
