Hey guys, I have been EXTREMELY inactive, and I'm SO VERY SORRY (I kind of forgot I even had a story, haha) And um, I'm not exactly sure I can remember what I even wrote about, so I apologize if I made tons of mistakes. Also, I plan on ending this story soon, because I don't really like it. To be honest, I think this is one of the worst stories I have ever written :/ Anyways, thank you guys for being so supportive, and hope you enjoy the last chapter… Not sure how to end it though.

P.S. I might have um… Forgotten some of my characters and the roles in my stories… I'm sorry XD

"Sky," A voice broke through the thin veil of dreamland. "Sky!" The voice came again, more urgent now.

"What?" I yawn, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. I noticed with a pang of disappointment that Kai wasn't next to me anymore, but focused instead on Nya who was fidgeting in front of me.

"Do you know where is Kai?" She almost yelled in my face. I blinked, and she thrust a note addressed to me in my direction. "He left this behind. I found it a few minutes ago, and didn't open it yet." Hesitantly, I opened it up, and read it aloud to Nya.

"Sky: Kai sought me for a battle. He believes that I have wronged all of you. You and Melissa in particular. I do not have very long left, but neither does he. Because I am a man of honor, I have written this note to tell you about Kai's whereabouts. The last time I saw him, he was hit by a truck. Make your way to the Dragon Clearing, and you shall find him there. From Jake…" I trail off. "Nya," I widen my eyes. "We have to find him. Now!" We speed outside, and run to the clearing, not even bothering to tell any of the others.

We scan the clearing for any trace of him, but all that we found was his mask lying beside a tree. Suddenly, my phone rang, and I picked it up.

"Hello?" I asked in a taut voice.

"Hi, is this Miss Skylar?" The voice at the other end inquired.

"Y – yeah. I mean, yes."

"Good evening miss. Your friend Kai has been badly injured, and we have found your phone number through others. We would like to inform you that his condition is not very good at the moment, and-" I turned my phone off.

"Nya. Hospital. Now," We dash off towards the only hospital in town, and head upstairs to the emergency wards.

"Hi, this is Nya and Skylar, visiting Kai?" Nya spoke to one of the staff.

"Oh, yes, this way," She led us to a room, and smiled as we walked in, closing the door behind her.

"Kai!" I whispered. He lay unmoving on the bed, hooked up to some machines.

"Oh no," Nya sobbed. "Oh god. No. No," She knelt down beside Kai, and I followed her.

"Kai, wake up, you're fine," I begged. Suddenly, the door burst open, and a doctor made his way towards us.

"Will he be okay?" Nya cried. "Can he still walk? Fight?"

"Calm down," He smiled. I wanted to slap that composed look off of his face. How can someone be calm at a time like this? "Kai was badly injured in the accident. He is now in a coma, but we don't know if he will wake up, or when he will wake up." Nya gasps, and I choke back a sob. "I'm sorry, we've done the best we can." He exits the room, leaving us only with the sounds of silent tears.

"Nya, he will be fine," I whisper. "He has to."

"You're right," She said, smiling bravely.

"I – I think I'm going to spend the night here. I need to be here when he wakes up," I say. And tell him that I love him too.

"O – okay. I'll tell Sensei and the others first," She nodded, and rushed out. I sat down on the chair, and cleared my throat. I've never sang directly to him before, so this was a first. Even if he couldn't hear me.

"I don't mind spending everyday

Out on your corner in the pourin' rain

Look for the girl with the broken smile

Ask her if she wants to stay awhile

And she will be loved…" I take a deep breath, and stop when my voice threatens to break. Shifting into a somewhat comfortable position on the chair, I take his hands, and sigh. "I love you Kai. And I'll always be here, until you wake up, whenever that is."
