As you all must know by now when something is in italic it means that it is a thought, and POV means Point of View.
I don't speak English as my first language so expect some grammatical errors. :(

Corina Salvatore POV
I watch the sun come up from the roof of Niklaus house.
Yesterday, after talking to Alaric and having some drinks, we decided what to do. Damon insisted I live with him so I am waiting to be able to go inside which he said it would be done by today's lunch time; Rebekah insisted on me getting new clothes instead of bringing mine here, which means that today we are going to go shopping; Kol insisted I went to school with him and Bekah, I am older than Stefan but younger than Damon so I can still pull off a student finishing high school although I usually prefer being a college student but since this will make Kol happy then who am I to say no.
With Niklaus things are more complicated; the feelings are still there but I wonder if after all this time it will be enough.
"Not planning on taking off your ring, are you?" Elijah says jokingly appearing beside me.
"The sun rise is so beautiful… I like watching and I think it's nice to appreciate it, especially when others like us don't have the opportunity to see." I say without looking at him.
"May I watch with you?" He asks softly.
"Of course Elijah." I say smiling. "Let's watch now and talk later…"
We spend some time watching the sun rise.
"Why do you think I want to talk?" Elijah asks.
"Kol always looks for me to help him fix something he did but shouldn't or to help him do something he shouldn't." I say smiling. "I am Bekah's best friend; I am there to talk about matters of the heart and also girl stuff that she can't talk with you guys."
"And I come for you to talk because you are a good listener and wise; you are smart and care for me which means that you are perfect to just talk or to ask advices to." He says softly but I can hear the pain in his voice.
"You are hurting, my brother… Why? I thought you would be the happiest regarding this arrangement of all us becoming a family." I say confused.
"I am. I truly am but... Damon told us something before you and Klaus arrived… he told me something regarding the woman I love. Katerina." He says and I look away.
"I am sorry…" I say looking down.
"Why? You were the one hurt!" He says exasperate and confused.
"And now you are the one hurt!" I say serious.
"I will get over her! I thought she was something she is not and I will get over her in time but I… You've known how I felt about her! Why didn't you tell me?" He asks desperate.
"Because you love her and I was afraid that if I told you, Nik might find out and he would kill her for sure! I didn't want for you to have your brother killing the woman you love!" I say.
"Even after everything she did to you?" He asks sad.
"It doesn't matter… If Nik had tortured and killed her it would destroy your relationship and I love you two too much to ever want that!" I say wanting him to understand.
"You are forgetting something." He says grabbing my hand kindly.
"What?" I ask confused.
"You are my sister and the one I confided on so many times… I love you too and as much as I love Katerina, you are the one that I need in my life! If she shows up, she will be as good as dead and if Klaus finds out she will be hunted, really hunted down by my family and yours too. I won't kill or hurt her but I won't let her ruin anything about my life or hurt you. So please don't ever again hide something from us because you are afraid of the pain it might bring us… especially when it's something that hurts you!" Elijah says kindly.
"But you love her…" I say.
"I can live without her or live with the fact that my family killed or tortured her but I can't live with you getting hurt. If you got hurt because you hid something to protect me, I would hate myself for as long as I shawl live, and forever is a long time." He says and I can see that he speaks the truth.
"I can't promise I will stop protecting you or the others but I can promise to try to protect myself better." I say kindly.
"It's all I ask." He says. "Ready to go downstairs?"
"Yes! I am surprised they left us here all this time!" I say smiling.
"Oh, well… Damon left to take care of things regarding the house, Rebekah is planning your shopping trip and is trying to convince Kol to tag along, Klaus is still moody about you not living here at our house and Finn is reading one of the books you recommend in your letters; which means that they were all busy enough to give us some time but should be coming after you if we don't get inside now." Elijah says smiling.
"Then let's go!" I say smiling and accepting the hand he is offering me to help me get up.
"You're here!" Rebekah says when we reach the living room. "Are you ready to go?"
"Bekah! It's too early! I was just watching the sun rise! We can't go shopping now!" I say shocked.
"Of course we can! We are taking the car and going to a big city! We can't shop here in Mystic Falls! So it's a little bit of a road trip too! Kol is coming too!" She says excited.
"You really want us to go now?" I ask.
"Yes! Why? Don't you want to? You always loved shopping with me…" She says a bit upset.
"I… Of course I want to! It's just that it has been so long since I went out shopping like we used to… I had some girl friends that I would spend my time with but I never went shopping with them…" I say.
"I'm glad or I would be jealous wondering if you replaced me!" Rebekah says making me smile.
"Never!" I say.
"Who are they? These girls that are your friends…" Kol asks interested.
"Just some humans… I don't stay for long… I don't like turning them." I say shrugging.
"Okay! We are leaving now!" Rebekah says excited.
"Bye boys!" I say to Niklaus, Elijah and Finn.
"Good luck." They say at the same time.
The trip was fun, Rebekah and Kol already know some new songs and we had some fun singing along; we stopped for breakfast at McDonalds and one of the great things about being a vampire is not having to worry about your cholesterol or getting fat.
"This will not fit in the car." Kol says as we try to put the things in the truck.
"I went to Mystic Falls running and since we came to shop near where I was living I could run to get my car…" I say agreeing with him.
"Great! You get your car while I do a little more shopping!" Rebekah says excited.
"No more shopping! It's almost dark and we still have to go back! Let's go!" Kol says exasperate making me laugh.
"Why don't we compromise?" I say trying to reason with them. "Rebekah keeps on shopping while you can go have a drink! Just stay in the mall!"
"Fine by me! I saw a really hot red headed!" Kol says smirking.
"Okay… Fine. But we are going to shop again right?" She asks me with puppy dog eyes.
"Of course!" I say smiling.
I run in vampire speed to my house and once I get inside I freeze.
"Katherine." I say. "How did you find me?"
"You should know by now that I have my contacts…" She says smirking.
"What do you want?" I ask serious.
"Well… Damon told me a very interesting story but I guess he was lying since you are here and not in Mystic Falls…" She says smiling. "He should have known better than to lie to me… What am I going to do to him…"
"If you try anything against my brother I will kill you!" I say furious.
"Oh my dear Corina! Have you forgotten what I used to do to you? I can make you remember and don't think that I won't just because you are a vampire because I am older than you which makes me stronger." She says getting up from my couch.
"Let's give your theory a try!" I say running towards her.
She moves to grab me by the neck but I grab her hand and break it and then I kick her throwing her at the wall, she falls into a glass table and I move to the corner where I keep a stake.
"Want to know something interesting Katherine?" I ask watching her get up. "There is a reason why Mikael was stronger than his children even though they all turned at the same time… He drank vampire blood and the stronger the blood you drink the stronger you get, and if you think that if you drink vampire blood you will be stronger than me you will be mistaken because I drink original hybrid blood constantly."
She looks at the stake in my hand.
"This is a warning and I am only giving it to you because I know I shouldn't get in the way of the Originals and their fun by killing you before they have the chance to enjoy their hunt… so run. Run as fast and as far as you can because soon enough the real hunt will begin and the prize is your heart detached from your body." I say smirking.
She moves towards me to grab the stake but I spin out of her reach and lodge the stake on her back but not near the heart and then I snap her neck.
I walk and grab the car keys.
"It was really nice seeing again after all this time Katherine… Let's see if my friends arrive before you wake up or if you will have time to run away." I say looking at her lying on the floor.
While driving to meet Rebekah and Kol I text them so they can meet me outside.
"Hey! Nice car!" Kol says when I arrive.
"Thanks! It's a Porsche 918 Spyder plug-in Hybrid." I say smiling.
"A hybrid?" Rebekah says smirking.
"I thought it was fitting." I say smiling.
I notice that Rebekah has a few more boxes and shopping bags while Kol has a little bit of blood in his cheek.
"Kol… You've got blood on your left cheek!" I say smiling.
"Why would you tell him? I wanted to see how long it would take!" Rebekah says annoyed.
"You guys will want to get into Bekah's car as fast as you can and give me all the shopping bags to put on my truck." I say ignoring her comment.
"Why?" Kol asks curious.
"Katherine was waiting for me at my house and we got into a disagreement where she end it up with a stake on her back and a broken neck… I thought you might like to play! That is if she is not up and running already…" I say smiling.
"Get everything! I can't wait to get that bitch!" Rebekah says handing me the bags and boxes for me to put on my car.
Everything is soon ready and they are soon following my car with Rebekah's car. When I stop the car I don't even have time to get out before Rebekah and Kol are already inside. When I don't hear the noise of broken things or screams I realize that Katherine already left.
"Sorry guys! Bad luck!" I say apologetically when they come out of the house.
"It's fine… We will have another opportunity!" Kol says. "But let's go back now… I don't like that she caught you alone…"
"I am fine but you are right, we should return now… Damon texted me and said everything is okay with the house so we can take all this stuff there and then have dinner at your house! Elijah said he is cooking tonight and that it's going to be awesome!" I say smiling.
"Okay but you stay ahead of us with your car at all times!" Rebekah says. "I thought I lost you once and I can't handle feeling that again."
The trip back was faster but not quieter, because of our hearing we could easily talk to each other even on different cars.
"Did you buy the whole fashion world?" Damon asks shocked when he sees us arrive.
"Don't exaggerate and come help us!" Rebekah says to him.
"Cora did need to get her car to fit everything so it was a close call!" Kol says smirking.
"I feel bad for you… To endure such torture… You are truly strong." Damon says to Kol in a pretend awe.
"It was not that bad! Just help us out or next time I will force you to come along!" I say annoyed.
"No! Please! Anything but that!" Damon says pretending to be scared while moving to help us with the stuff.
"Ass." I hear Rebekah saying.
"A pretty nice ass don't you think?" Damon says to her making me smile at their interaction.
With the help of vampire speed I was done putting everything in its place in no time and soon Damon, Kol, Rebekah and I were on our way to dinner.
