Eddie sat there at the table confused, he decided to get up and follow Bradley and Loren but stopped when his sister walked out.
Natalie: I thought I heard the door open and where is Bradley?
Eddie: Well Loren came in and then Bradley told her that you guys were engaged she got upset and ran outside with Bradley behind her I am not sure what is going on?
Natalie put her hand under her chin and put all of her weight on her right leg: why would she be upset?
Eddie shrugged: I am not sure I was about to go out there after them but how did you know Bradley and Loren? I never met them before
Natalie laughed: that is because you never paid me any attention Eddie! Bradley has been my best friend since we were kids but you know mom she did not want me around him because she thought we were going to do more than be friends plus you were still a little baby, Dad would let me sneak and hangout with him, that is why he never came over to the house and we never acted on our feelings until a year ago and he asked me to marry him a few days ago. Loren and I became cool the day I met her I thought she was Bradley's girlfriend and he lied to me but of course they explained it and told me they had different mothers and they were close.
Eddie: wow such a small world how is mom?
Natalie rolled her eyes and crossed her arm: did you really ask me that? She is still mom nothing will change with that woman she is in there arguing with dad about how irresponsible I am and blah blah blah.
Eddie laughed: sounds about right (he sighed and looked out the front door to see Loren and Bradley).
Natalie touched his arm: Loren is a great girl Eddie I think you will love her no I know you will love her I rather you be with her than them other jerks of women you were with and I saw Leah leaving what did that tramp want?!
Eddie scoffed: to lie and tell my parents that she is pregnant by me she is mad because she found out about me and Loren she tried going to the chancellor to see if I could get fired but it failed because he was cool with it he told me just not to show the affection on campus.
Natalie: that tramp is crazy if you ask me! But I am happy about Loren I just hope that whatever she got upset about it was not about me.
Bradley caught Loren by the arm and she jerked back: Loren listen to me it is not what you think?
Loren scoffed: seriously Bradley! You of all people should know I do not take part into men cheating on women how could you do this! Does Natalie know that you are still with Emily?!
Bradley looked at her with a blank expression: No but I am breaking up with Emily this weekend
Loren shook her head: shouldn't you have done that before you decided to get down on one knee and ask her to marry you I mean don't get me wrong I love Natalie with all my heart and I want you guys to get married but not like this Bradley not like this!
Bradley sighed: I know Lo but I had been holding that ring for months wanting to ask Natalie to marry me I love her so much you knew that since we were all kids I would never want to hurt her and I am not going to. I understand what you are saying and I was already planning on breaking up with Emily this weekend and I have my reasons as well but the kicker is I saw her sleeping with someone she called her cousin.
Loren turned her head at him and frowned her face in disgust: incest?!
Bradley gave her a "now you know she lied face" and laughed: hell no not her cousin at all I knew that he was someone other than her cousin and that was confirmed when I caught her in our bathroom having sex with him, me and her have not been on good terms since so she know this break up is coming but those few days ago I hung out with Natalie I knew that it was time for me to give her that ring I love her a lot.
Loren sighed and touched his arm: I know you do Brad and she would make an amazing wife! I just want you to do it the right way break up first then get in engage this is going to bother me and you know it.
Bradley: I know but I will fix it I promise okay?
Loren nodded: okay I am giving you until Saturday and if not I am not talking to you and I am telling mom. Does she know anyways?
Bradley: no she don't know I haven't talked to her in a couple of days every time I called she been dodging me talking about she doing some stuff.
Loren smiled: we should go pay her a visit on my break next month
Bradley: I would like that (he looked at her with his puppy dog eyes) so you not mad at me?
Loren scoffed: yes I am but I am letting it slide because you are going to break up with her if not then I am not talking to you.
Bradley smiled and grabbed her in for a hug: I love you Loren you are the best sister ever you know that?
Loren laid her head on his shoulder: yeah when you do right
Bradley pulled back and laughed: So Eddie huh?
Loren rolled her eyes and started walking back towards the house: Yes, Eddie and come on so we can figure out a story to tell them about why I slapped you.
Bradley jogged up beside her: good idea.
Melissa sighed when she turned off the ignition and looked at Ian's house she hated it now because she remembered the memories of her walking in and seeing him kissing his ex. She decided to get out of the car and walk up to the door. Right before she was about to knock Ian pulled the door back fast.
Ian sighed: Melissa?
Melissa: Ian
Ian cleared his throat: what are you doing here?
Melissa: are you going to leave me standing out here or do you have company?
Ian rolled his eyes and opened the door back some more: come in
He walked away and sat on the couch and Melissa sat on the opposite chair they both just stared at each other until Melissa started to cry.
Melissa stood up: how could you Ian? How could you do this to me to us?! We were so happy and I thought that you liked me that much but you decided to lip lock with your ex?

Ian stoop up and yelled: WOULD YOU SHUT UP AND LISTEN MELISSA! DAMN I LOVE YOU OKAY I WOULD NOT JEOPARDIZE WHAT WE HAVE FOR SOMEONE WHO DIDN'T GIVE A RATS ASS ABOUT ME SHE CHEATED ON ME AND WHEN SHE CAME IN I WAS TELLING HER TO LEAVE AND THAT WE WERE OVER AND WHEN SHE HEARD A KEY SHE KISSED ME IF YOU WOULD HAVE STAYED A FEW MINUTES YOU WOULD HAVE SAW THAT I PUSHED HER AWAY THAT IS WHY SHE LEFT RIGHT AFTER YOU CLOSED THE DOOR!

Melissa started to cry even harder and Ian walked over to her and got down on his knees to lift her head up: Melissa when I first saw you in my class I fell in love with you in that moment and when I told Nat my ex about you she went ballistic because me and her were still together but tolerating each other at that point we were just roommates. We were not happy so when our lease was up she moved on and I moved on I want you to be my woman because I know you will be my wife later on down the line I love you so much and no one will take that away from me or you.
Melissa looked him in his eyes and while he wiped the tears from her face with his thumbs she smiled: I love you too Ian and I am so sorry
Ian smiled and kissed her lips passionately: just make sure that you talk to me before you just cut me off I was sick without you ask Eddie
Melissa laughed: okay deal
Ian: I love you Melissa
Melissa: I love you too Ian
Bradley and Loren were sitting down in the living room talking to Eddie: yeah Loren already knew about Natalie but she knew her by Katelyn so she thought I was engaged to someone else because she did not know she was your sister.
Eddie smiled and pulled Loren towards him: you should have waited and asked babe before you hit people and run off do I need to worry about that later on down the line of our relationship?
Loren laughed and kissed his cheek: no we will be fine where is Natalie?
Natalie: seriously mom why can't you just be happy for me and what I do?! I am successful, I do not have any kids anddddd I am in love!
Katie rolled her eyes: you know what I am done being involved in both of my children lives if that is what you want for me to stay out of it then that is what I will do!
Max: Katie stop trying to play the victim when you know you put yourself in these situations!
Katie: REALLY MAX?!
Bradley: is this what you go through all the time?
Eddie laughed: oh yeah
Loren: Are we still doing dinner?
Bradley: still hungry Loren that never gains a pound but eats like bear

Eddie kissed her forehead: it's okay I still like you
Katie: I think I am going to go stay with my mother for a few days because you all do not care about me when all I am trying to do is look out for you! All you had to do was tell us about this man and you did not say a thing!
Natalie rolled her eyes: dad knew
Max cut his eye at Natalie and everyone looked up at him, Katie shook her head.
Katie: wow my own husband is keeping stuff from me as well I am leaving
Katie walked away and Max looked at Natalie: why did you do that Natalie?
Natalie: she asked for it Dad
Max shook his head and ran after Katie: Katie?!
Max ran into their bedroom and saw Katie zipping up her bag she looked at him and grabbed her purse: you never really loved me Max
Max frowned: sweetheart how could you say that?
Katie grabbed her bag: because you never consult with me or say anything to me when it comes to our children they love you more than me and that is evident but I thought that you would at least be on my side when it comes to what is best for them so I think I should go to Virginia and stay with my parents
Max grabbed her when she started to walk away: Katie that is not true at least listen to me
Katie: no I am leaving and you can stay here with your children and their significant others
Max and Katie walked out of the room and Eddie stood up and looked at his mother: mom lets be rational and sit and talk
Katie: I have done enough talking and I think it is best if I leave so yall can be happy and not only that I think it is best for a divorce
Natalie: what the hell is wrong with you mom?! We been having disagreements for years this is nothing new
Katie scoffed: yeah your right but that was when your father agreed with me now he doesn't so I am leaving and Max?
Max raised his eyebrows and Katie looked at him and tried the stop the tears from running down her eyes: you will be getting divorce papers in the mail soon
Katie walked out the door and went to her car with Max yelling: KATIE! COME ON KATIE!
When she pulled off Max put his head in his hands and sighed.
Eddie walked over to his dad: I am sorry Dad you know mom is just overdramatic she will be back
Max shook his head: I think it is best if everyone just leave.
Natalie: But Dad?
Max yelled: I SAID LEAVE!
He went back to the bedroom and slammed his door and everyone stood there looking at one another confused.
Natalie: I can't believe that just happened
Eddie sighed: me neither Natalie me neither.
