Frozen Swan 14:

It's been 12 weeks since the last time Emma saw Elsa. 12 weeks of moping. 12 weeks of crying herself to sleep. 12 weeks of hell…for Emma at least. It frustrated the hell out of Emma. She doesn't know what happened, doesn't know what she did wrong. It wasn't even a few hours after finally finding Anna, along with her fiance Kristoff, that Elsa eagerly walked out of Emma's life without a glance back. Emma, of course, was heartbroken. She finally found someone who she truly connected with and could actually see spending the rest of her life with. Someone who she wanted to share breakfasts, cuddles, and morning kisses with. But apparently, that wasn't enough for Elsa. That's not even the worst part. The worst part is the fact that she didn't even know Elsa left her until Regina told her. Elsa just left without letting her know. She abandoned her. Just like everyone else in her life. Everyone does it. She probably broke the world record of being abandoned the most.

Flash Back!

Emma has been crying steadily for the past 2 hours after Regina broke the news that Elsa left Story Brooke. Apparently, the Apprentice opened a portal for Anna and Kristoff to go back to Arendelle, but some words were exchanged that Regina couldn't hear from where they were standing outside the room before Elsa left with her sister without an explanation. Emma of course ran straight home after hearing the news and collapsed face first on her mattress.

Snow gently knocked on Emma's door before slowly walking inside to see her daughter clutching what she assumes was Elsa's pillow to her chest. The mother sat down on the bed where Emma was and began rubbing her hand across her daughter's back.

"Emma, are you alright?" the only response Emma gave was a hiccup as she turned to face Snow. As soon as Snow saw Emma's broken face, she gathered her in her arms and pulled her into a tight hug. More tears began to fall as the sheriff held on tight to her mother.

"Shhhh, it's going to be alright, darling" Snow said before giving Emma a kiss on the cheek.

ONE WEEK AFTER ELSA LEAVING

In the rare occasion that Regina willingly comes to the Charming apartment, never has it been to stand outside the savior's bedroom trying to get the woman out of bed and into the shower for the first time in God knows how long. Regina has been knocking for a few minutes before the door was abruptly swung open.

"WHAT?!" Emma hissed at Regina. The blonde was wearing a stretched out, dirty tank top with some flannel pajama bottoms. Her hair was a mess and her eyes were extremely red with dark circles underneath. Regina was certain that the blonde hasn't had a goodnight of sleep since the last time Elsa and Emma saw each other.

"Oh, you're alive! Great! How about you go take a shower and come out to have dinner with your family, hmm?" Regina sassed at the blonde trying to coax her out of her bedroom.

"How about you go back to your Dairy Queen? I don't care about dinner. I'm not hungry." Regina held the door open with her hand before Emma got the chance to slam it in her face.

"Oh, no you don't. You don't get to wallow in pity for the rest of your life. And I realize it's been almost a week since Elsa left, but she might come back any day now and she wouldn't want to see you like this."

"Like what? A mess? Because I've been abandoned by her without a thought? Thrown away like a used broken toy? It's not like it hasn't been done before now has it?" Emma hissed out bitterly as her eyes watered.

"Hey! You are not a mess." Regina said grabbing Emma's chin forcing the blonde to make eye contact. "you are not a mess." She repeated.

"Messy and unorganized, but not a mess and not broken. At least, not in the sense that you can't be healed. You got that?" Regina held the savior's gaze as the tears began falling from Emma's eyes and her lip trembled as she nodded her head that was still trapped in Regina's hand.

Regina let go of Emma but quickly pulled the blonde into a strong hug.

"now, go shower before I let a fireball loose on your ass."

Emma's lips tilted upwards for the first time that week.

PRESENT DAY (12 WEEKS AFTER ELSA LEFT)

Emma has been back to work for a few days before another unexpected visitor arrived running to the station.

"EMMA! I need your help!"

"Anna?" Emma got up from her desk and step forward.

"I need your help, Emma! Elsa needs your help!"
