Cherri sighed as she worked. "I wonder how Cream is doing… She didn't even show up to school today."

"That is because I told her not to." Ryou said, walking up behind her. "I told her to rest. After that attack yesterday I thought she would be better at home."

"I guess that is a good idea…" Cherri sighed. "I'm surprised she agreed to that. She's always been stubborn." She chuckled.

"She was tired and exhausted… But did you know Cream is now leaving alone at her own apartment?" Ryou asked, helping her put away the dishes.

"Yeah." Cherri said calmly. "So her brother didn't find out about her becoming a mew. Some of our missions have us running out in the middle of the night. Part of me is thinking to move out of my cousin's house and move in with her, but I'm not rich."

"If it would make your life easier you can take a room here at the café. We have some rooms downstairs."

"Really?" Cherri blinked shocked. "That would be great! Thanks Ryou!"

He nodded and then turned and walked out to check on the others. His thoughts still on Cream, he wished that she was at the café fine and smiling. But because of the aliens she wasn't.

"Ryou." Keiichiro said looking over. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine." He sighed. "Just worried about Cream. She was hurt pretty badly."

"Yes… The aliens with those two new ones have gotten stronger and smarter." Keiichiro sighed. "The girls are in more danger as the fighting continues."

Ryou frowned. "We need to find the soul stones and stop the aliens… and fast." He glanced over at where the girls were working. "For the girls' alien as well as the world's alien."

"I agree." Keiichiro nodded. "But are you thinking more of Cream than the others?"

Ryou shifted. "Keiichiro I know what I am doing…. Let me deal with it myself." He glanced off.

"Just be careful." Keiichiro put his hand on his friend's shoulder. "I'm only worried about you."

Ryou sighed, but turned and headed back to his office.

"I'm going to go check on Cream; do any of you want to join me?" Cherri asked Ichigo and the others as they walked out of the café after work.

"I think it sounds like a good idea." Lettuce smiled. "I'm sure she could use the company. She's probably been bored all day alone."

"Probably." Ichigo chuckled. "But maybe her boyfriend came to check on her. Then I'm sure she wasn't alone at all."

"And how would she explain her injuries?" Mint pointed out.

"Let's go cheer her up!" Pudding chuckled jumping up and down. "I can perform tricks for her!"

"I'm sure Cream just wants to rest." Zakuro said calmly. "Maybe we should just take her something to eat and help her feel better."

"That sounds like a good idea!" Mint smiled. "Let us go now!"

"Sounds good." Cherri smiled. "I know where her apartment is."

After getting some soup they headed towards Cream's apartment. They were half way there when Ichigo's soul stone tracker went off. "A soul stone!"

"Let's look around then." Lettuce said setting the soup down.

"It's got to be around her somewhere." Pudding said looking around.

"I found it!" Cherri called out as she looked down at the blue stone. She went to pick it up, but was interrupted by a blast.

"Thanks for finding that for us." Kukki laughed from a tree.

"Taruto!" Pudding said spotting the other alien floating nearby.

"And Buroonii." Lettuce said glancing over at the third alien.

"Yes. Now back up so we can take the soul stone." Kukki ordered. "Or else we'll have to destroy you."

Ichigo frowned. "Let's go girls!" They all quickly transformed into their mew form. "You can't have the stone!"

"Hmm." Kukki frowned. "I see the little white mew isn't with you anymore."

"WHY YOU!" Mew Cherri shot forward angrily. She aimed to punch at him, but he dodged back.

Buroonii shot forward and blocked her with his staff. "I'm not letting you hurt my friend now!" He glared darkly. He was no longer the calm one. He looked angrier. "Now back off cutie or I'll be forced to get rough with you."

Cherri flinched as he punched her back, Zakuro shot forward and caught her before she slammed into a tree. "You okay Cherri?"

"Fine thanks."

"I guess I'll take on two little cuties." Buroonii smirked.

"Oh great, now he's all worked up." Kukki grumbled. "He's can become so annoying when he's like this."

"It doesn't matter!" Ichigo said aiming to attack him. "You have to take us on now." Her and Mint attacked Kukki.

"Taru-Taru.." Pudding frowned looking over at her old friend. "I don't want to fight you."

"Shut up mew! And my name is Taruto! Get it right!" He grumbled.

"Mew Pudding we have to fight him." Lettuce frowned.

"Fine!" Pudding frowned and shot at her old friend. The mews continued to fight against the aliens, but neither side was getting to the stone.

After a little the mews were finally starting to win. Buroonii had backed off injured. Taruto was pretty beat up as well. The only one left fighting was Kukki, against all the mews.

"You'd do better to surrender." Cherri frowned annoyed. "Let us have the soul stone! And while you're at it, leave our planet!"

Kukki glared. "Why you!"

"Man, you are weak." They all turned hearing a female voice. Everyone turned to see a new alien standing on a tree. She had short light blue hair with one side pony tail like the other aliens. She wore a half tank top with one sleeve on her shoulder. She had on a pair of shorts with a see-thru skirt over her shorts. She had the same ribbons as the other aliens around her waist. She also had arm band around her wrists. Her gold eyes scanned over the mews and aliens. "So fighting over this stone?"

"Who are you?" Zakuro frowned. "Another alien?"

"My name is Taiyaki." She smiled. "So tell me, what are my fellow species doing?" She looked over at Kukki. "What is so special about this stone?"

Buroonii looked over at Taiyaki. "Are you here to help us?"

"Sure." Taiyaki smiled and shot forward, nailing Ichigo in the guts and tossed her aside. She leaned down and picked up the stone. "Well then, I'll be taking this." She floated up in the sky and smirked. "Let's go now."

Kukki smirked and nodded. "Follow us." The aliens all disappeared.

"No!" Cherri frowned as she helped Ichigo up. "And now we have to deal with a new alien!?"

"We'd better tell Ryou." Zakuro frowned. "And they got a stone…"

"Yeah." Lettuce sighed. "Let's head back to the café then."

"What about Cream?" Cherri frowned.

"We can talk to her tomorrow. It's late anyways." Mint said calmly. "I'm heading home now." She waved and started walking off.

"I need to get home as well." Pudding sighed. "My siblings need me." She too turned and began to walk home.

"I'll go talk to Ryou and Keiichiro." Zakuro said. "The rest of you should head home and rest. I don't think you have to worry about the aliens attacking again today. We'll decide what to do about this new alien tomorrow as a team."

"I guess so." Cherri sighed.

Pai blinked as he looked over seeing the others returning with Taiyaki. He froze. "Who is this?"

Taiyaki ignored him. "So where is the boss guy? I can tell none of you weaklings are the boss."

"We're not weak." Kukki frowned. "You only beat that mew because of surprise." He glared at her annoyed.

Taiyaki laughed. "Whatever makes you feel better, now where can I meet this boss of yours? And don't try telling me that this guy is your boss." She jabbed her finger towards Pai. "A leader isn't going to be sitting on the side lines doing nothing unless he's injured. And I know none of you are the boss because you were all beat to easily."

Pai frowned. He didn't like this girl's attitude, but she was one of them and deserved to meet Deep Blue. And if Deep Blue didn't like her than he and the others could take her out. "Follow me."

"Sounds good." She smirked and followed him into the back room.

"Deep Blue." Pai said kneeling. "I have brought someone to see you."

Deep Blue glanced over from the tube he was healing in. Pai frowned seeing that Taiyaki was standing and showing no respect to Deep Blue at all. "Who are you?"

"My name is Taiyaki. And I've come to help."

"Why now?" Deep Blue frowned; something seemed to be bothering him.

"Because I only just learned about you and I should be loyal to my own kind, shouldn't I?" She smirked.

"What do you mean?" Pai asked getting up slowly.

"I've been asleep for a long time, stuck on this boring little planet. I only just awoke recently and heard your little commotion going on. So I thought I would join in." She held up the soul stone. "And I recovered whatever this is."

Deep Blue seemed to think a moment and then spoke. "Taiyaki, if you will swear allegiance to me then you will be able to join our team."

"Sounds good." Taiyaki smiled and swore to serve him. "So what exactly are the plans?" Deep Blue explained about the mews, trying to reclaim the planet for the aliens, and the soul stones. Taiyaki remained silent as he explained and nodded calmly. "I see." She smiled. "I think I will have fun battling with these little mews." She gave a small bow and then turned and walked out.

"Deep Blue are you sure this is a good idea?" Pai asked. "I do not trust her."

"She is our new team member. Let the others know." Deep Blue ordered.

"Yes." Pai nodded, bowed and then left. He informed the others of Taiyaki joining the team and then left to his personal area. He didn't like Taiyaki, but there was nothing to do about it. His suspicions weren't helped by the fact that she had disappeared almost instantly. Kish did that also, but Pai had known Kish for many years and trusted him. Taiyaki was a different story.

Pai pulled up his human cell phone and picked Cream's speed dial number. He waited patiently as it rang and smiled as he heard her voice. It relaxed him and made him happy. "Kaoru?"

"Good evening Cream, I was calling to see if you wanted to meet up and have dinner or dessert."

"Uh… Sorry but I'm not feeling my best." She said hesitantly. "I'm sorry. I would love to, but my boss ordered me to rest and get better."

"Oh." Pai frowned. He had wanted to see her and talk to her. "I hope you get better soon then."

"Is something wrong?" She asked before he could hang up. "It sounds like you're worried about something."

Pai paused. Did he tell her about Taiyaki? "My boss has recently hired a new employee... But I don't trust or like her…. I tried to convince my boss to fire her, but he likes her."

"Well I don't think there is anything you can do about that." Cream said after a moment. "You just have to work with her as best you can and keep an eye on her. If she does anything that can get the boss to fire her then you report it to him. But otherwise you just have to play nice. And be glad that you don't have to see her 24/7."

Pai smiled. She could sound so logical at times, but he knew that she didn't understand the complete situation. He couldn't explain it to her either, but some of the advice would be useful. "Thank you Cream. Good night."

"Good night Kaoru. I hope I'll see you soon."

"Same here." Pai said gently and hung up. He smiled slightly.
