Chapter 14: Memories of the Past: Part 1/4

"Ok. The Journal should be in Me and Izaya's room." Shizuo said as Shinra closed the newly repair door of Shizuo and Izaya's Apartment.

Shizuo walked in to his and Izaya's bedroom and looked at their book shelf and he sees the book pulsing with light and power.

"I can feel the power of the journal in my veins. It feels warm and familiar, like a old friend I haven't seen in years. An ancient power that was lost to the world centuries ago." Shizuo thought as he stepped closer to the bookshelf drawn by the journal's power.

As he touches the book, he falls to his knees holding the journal to his chest as memories long forgotten flash right before his eyes. Memories of a life full of love and tragedy. As the memories start to slow down, his minds stops on his most treasured memory of them all. The Day he meet the love of his life in real life. Instead of just in his dreams.

(Memory)

" I have finally found him my prince. My Izaya." Shiro said as the pull on his heart led him to the gate of the Empress Azula's Palace.

The palace was beautiful and the gates were a beautiful golden color. And the palace itself was mix of gold, pale blue, red and silver. It looks similar to a Japanese Temple.

As he stands in front of the gate a guard asks " Young man, what is your business here?"

" I have come here seeking an audience with the empress and her son. I must speak with them" Shiro said as he looked at guard that have spoken to him.

"Very well, I shall escort you to the throne room." The Guard said and he started to lead him into the palace.

"Wait here and I shall see if The Empress will see you." the guard said as they stopped in front of the throne room. Then he walked into the room and closed the door.

"I hope that the Empress with see me." Shiro thought as the doors to the throne room opened up.

"The Empress shall see you now" The Guard from before said as he held the door open for him.

When Shiro walks into the room. He looked around the room. The room was made of stone and marble a pale green and a gray blue with two golden thrones with black out lining it in the center of the room.

Upon the one of throne, was The Empress herself wearing a black Kimono with Sakura blossoms on the bottom outlined in read. Her long Raven hair is in a neat bun with a Sakura Blossom pin. She was a very beautiful woman.

Shiro stepped further in to the room and bowed before the Empress.

"Raise young warrior. Tell me, why have you come here? " Azula said with a kind smile on her lips.

Shiro did as she said and said " Empress Azula, my name is Shiro Fujimoto. And I have traveled far to be here today. I am here today because 5 months ago I started to hear a song at night in my dreams and I felt a pull on my heart. I decided to see where my heart and these dreams would lead me. And they lead me here to your kingdom . I would dream about a raven haired boy the same age as me. I know now that my heart was searching for my soulmate. And I believe that your son is my Soulmate. Prince Izaya looks exactly like the boy from my dreams. "

" I see, you say that your heart lead you here. How do you know that it's my son that you see you in your dreams? How can you be so sure it's my son and not somebody else you may be looking for?" Azula asked.

" I know that is him. Because the moment that I stepped into your Palace, the pull my heart I became stronger than it has ever been before." Shiro said.

"Do you remember the song that you heard in your dreams ? " Azula asked

"Yes, I remember the song. I don't think that I'll ever forget it. Do you want me to sing it for you?" Shiro asked.

"Yes, for I am curious to see if it is the same song that I have heard my son sing at night." Azula said.

"Very well, I shall sing. " Shiro said then he began to sing in a soft voice.

"As night falls I hear my heart calling out to someone. And so is my soul. I know that its calling out to the one that I'm ment to be with. The one that will protect me until the very end. The one that will always be right by my side. My Love, My Knight, My Protector and My Soulmate. I hope that I will see them soon in my dreams. So I would know who to look for when they Follow the call of our hearts and souls to me. If you can here my song please find me soon, My Dear Knight. " Shiro's voice grew stronger as the song came to an end and he heard the Empress Azula gasp and he look at her.

"Ryou, please go find my son and bring him here. Quickly. " Azula order as her eyes shined brightly with hope.

"Yes, Empress Azula." the guard from before said from his post by the door to the throne room. The. He left in search of the Prince.

10 minutes later, Ryou came back with the Prince.

"You sent for me, Mother." Izaya said as he bowed before his mother.

"Yes, my son. Please take your seat beside me." Azula said as she gestured to the throne besides her. When her son was finally seated she spoke to him again.

"My son, this young Knight has come here and claims that he is your soulmate and that his heart lead him here. And I have heard him sing the lullaby that you sing every night. " she said gesturing to Shiro who was still standing in front of the thrones. And that was the moment that Izaya got a good look at Shiro and gasped.

"Mother, he maybe just be who he says he is. He looks just like the Knight from my dreams. And I know just the thing that will prove if he is the same Knight. " Izaya said to his mother. The he spoke again this time he was addressing Shiro.

"Young Knight, if you are who you claim to be. Sing to me the song that you would sing to me in my dreams. The song that you sing to me in reply to my lullaby. " he said.

"Yes, my Prince. " Shiro said then he began to sing again. " Here I am, my Angel. Soon I will find you in real life. You are my Heart. The only one for me. When I find you, I will never let you go. I will protect you with my life and love you too the very end of time. Even in death my love will live on. Not even the gods could tear us apart. Soon my Angel I will be able to see , touch, kiss and hold you in my arms. I will search the whole world to find you. Please believe in me, your Knight. " he sung.

As his song ended he looked up at Izaya and saw tears of joy running down his cheeks as he recognized his Knights song.

"It is you. You finally found me. My Knight, My Protector. Your love will always be all that I need. Shiro stay by my side forever. Vow to protect me with your life until the very end. " Izaya said as he stood in front of Shiro and touched his cheek and gave it a kiss. Then he turned to his mother and said, " Mother, he is my soulmate. The one that the Goddess Skyla said would be the one to love me unconditionally and complete me. I am truly happy now for I complete."

Outside of Shizuo's Dreams, a woman appears in his and Izaya's bedroom and lays him in bed with the journal still in his arms. The woman has long curly red hair and brown eyes. Her skin is brown and she is tall and slender. And she has a very strong aura of light that surrounds her.

"Finally, you memories has been awakened Shiro. Or should I say Shizuo for you have been reborn. Soon you will have your prince by your side once more. You both shall defeat Ryoku for good this time. And I will make sure of it. Till we meet again my child, Be Strong." the Mysterious woman said. Before the women left she made a vow to help protect Shizuo and Izaya. And to make sure that they have a chance to truly be together in their new life unlike there last one that Ryoku destroyed.

A/N: Hey everyone! I am so sorry that it took me so long to update. But I have been having medical problems. And I have been busy with trying to figure out if I am going to go to anime Expo in regular clothes or consplay.
