A/N: Chapter 14 is finally here! :D

My computer was having some serious problems earlier this week, and I mean really serious. After staring my computer it wasn't letting me access the internet at all and repeatedly blue-screened so I couldn't even google what to do! I was really panicking because I thought that I may have to buy a new computer (which I really don't have the money for right now since University is about to start and my textbooks are painfully expensive) (-_-")
However, thankfully after talking to some tech experts it is now as good as new! It's even running faster than it was before! :D

Over the next few days I will do my best to update everything as soon as possible in an effort to make up for my absence. The next chapter of 'A Helping Hand' should also be up tonight. However, I might get called into work tonight so I'm not sure if I can do any more than that, but I will certainly try! :D

Chapter 14: Time Alone Together

"That was so sweet! Our little Mirai is all grown up…" Zero spoke as they entered their little house again, leaving Mirai with his friends.

"Mmm, that was sweet…" Kaname agreed.

Kaname then grabbed Zero from behind by the hips and pulled the silverette closer, proceeding to lick Zero's neck. "But you're sweeter…" He added.

"Kaname…" Zero moaned, slightly surprised at Kaname's actions.

"Now that Mirai-chan's living with his friends, maybe you can pay a little more attention to me…" Kaname purred before sinking his fangs into Zero's neck.

The bite wasn't deep and he didn't draw much blood. Being a pureblood Kaname only needed a small amount to sustain him and keep his sanity. He also didn't drink too much of Zero's blood because he didn't want to harm or scare the silverette. However, he could not deny that, if it was offered, he wouldn't decline more. Zero's blood tasted so sweet upon his tongue…

"So is this what parents do when their kids are away on a sleepover?" Zero asked Kaname after the fangs had been removed from his neck, wriggling around so that he could face the pureblood.

"Probably." Kaname replied with a low chuckle of amusement before capturing Zero's lips with his own.

"Mmm…" Zero showed his approval of Kaname's kiss.

Kaname felt Zero's arms wrap around his neck, urging him closer, if closer was possible. He also opened his mouth slightly, inviting Kaname to give him more attention. Kaname replied eagerly.

And then they fell to the floor…

They hadn't 'done it' ever since they had found Mirai. After all, it was too awkward to do 'that' knowing that something was watching you. So now they had to make up for lost time.

Kaname thanked the fact that neither of them had been wearing shirts this day. It meant he could nip and kiss Zero's chest and stomach to his heart's content. All the while, he rejoiced in feeling Zero's hands also exploring his exposed muscles. And, after building their little house, Kaname felt sure that he'd actually gained a little bit more muscle mass. He wasn't hesitant to show it off to Zero, he was only glad that his little silverette seemed to be enjoying it.

Their pants also disappeared quickly, freeing their arousals. However, Zero didn't feel like doing things the way they had in the past. Today he wanted to give Kaname something more…

He flipped them over until it was Kaname's back on the ground.

"Zero?" Kaname asked, not sure what Zero was doing.

But Zero had already planned out what he was doing. Over the past few nights he had been dreaming about this, dreaming of all the things he wanted to do to Kaname and dreaming of all the things he wanted Kaname to do to him.

As Kaname lay there beneath him, Zero placed a kiss to Kaname's lips and then followed down, over his neck, allowing a fang to draw just a drop of pure blood from beneath the skin.

"Zero…" Kaname growled appreciatively.

Zero the licked and kissed the small wound before continuing his trail of kisses down Kaname's chest and hips until he reached something more interesting to give his attention to. Beginning to tease the pureblood's arousal with his tongue, he looked up towards Kaname's face to see the pureblood looking at him with hungry eyes glazed over with lust. That look only encouraged him to take it into his mouth and do his best to increase the pleasure of his partner.

Kaname really hadn't been expecting Zero to take the initiative today. At one stage earlier in the week he had even been wondering I he was the only one struggling with his desires. Was he wrong about that!

Zero being so bold only turned him on further. His large hands with long fingers couldn't resist the temptation of winding their way through Zero's hair. Deep red eyes flicked up behind eyelids as Zero licked the tip. His grasp on Zero's hair tightened as he pulled Zero's head up. Even though Zero hadn't done this before he was far too good. Kaname had to reverse their positions because he was getting far too close and he didn't want to be the one to reach pleasure first.

Now on top, Kaname licked around Zero, teasing him as he began to prepare him.

"Nnn…" Zero moaned in appreciation of Kaname's actions.

"Good?" Kaname queried, stopping the movement of his fingers.

Upon seeing Zero's face go as red as a tomato, Kaname couldn't resist smiling with triumph.

"D-don't smile!" Zero demanded, turning redder by the second. "Just hurry up and…you know!" He insisted, pushing his body closer to Kaname.

"Hmm…someone's impatient today." Kaname teased before lining himself up.

"Shut up and- ah!" Zero was trying to scold Kaname, though his attempt failed dismally as soon as Kaname gave him what he wanted. "Yes…" He moaned instead.

Kaname grinned triumphantly before beginning to move slightly, not wanting to go too fast too soon. However, he was soon told Zero's opinion on his slow pace.

"Nn…Hurry up!" Zero moaned pleadingly.

Kaname obliged, more than willingly.

And so their night-time activities continued on until the morning when they collapsed, covered in sweat, completely satisfied and with smiles on their faces.

…

The rescue boat raced ahead to the island where the 'hut' had been seen. Haruka, Juri, Yagari and Kaien were at the head of the boat, looking forward. It was nice that, even in these troubled times, they could enjoy the spectacular sight of the sun rising upon the horizon, dying the sky a vibrant orange before becoming gradually more blue.

As they watched the sight, one of the crew members walked onto the deck to convey a message from the captain.

"Lady Juri, Masters Haruka, Yagari and Kaien. We should be there in just under two hours. Now that the sun has risen we're expecting some strong chill. The captain wonders if you would care to move inside?" He asked them.

Juri shook her head.

"We are eager to see our son as soon as possible so we would like to stay here, please." Haruka explained.

Yagari nodded in agreement with Haruka. Kaien just looked on in awe, amazed that Haruka and Yagari could still appear so serious and command such authority, even with braided hair. Yet, Kaien knew that he didn't appear any better. Normally Kaien would have been the first to reply to the crew member. However today he was trying to hide behind Yagari so that no one saw him.

Since they had left in such a hurry, Kaien hadn't had the time to straighten his hair. As a result it was frizzy, so frizzy that Kaien feared his adopted son may not recognise him anymore. He was truly self-conscious inside. However Yagari was not in the mood to let Kaien remain hiding.

"Get off my back." Yagari growled.

He didn't like it when Kaien wasn't in his sight. So, he grabbed Kaien by the collar and pulled him out to the front.

"Don't worry Kaien, you look fine." Juri assured him, having noticed the problem.

"J-Juri, you're so kind!" Kaien then went to hug Juri but was stopped by Haruka's arm.

"You may accept Juri's compliments." Haruka explained. "But if you touch my wife you may end up in the sea." He threatened.

Kaien immediately shrunk back.

Maybe Haruka-san doesn't like me anymore since it was partly my fault his hair is braided…

Even though they were less than two hours away from their destination, it still seemed like an awful long time to Kaien. After all he was on board a boat with an peeved pureblooded vampire, and an even more peeved Vampire hunter…
