Q&A!
...no questions? ._.
Well... ummmm... here's chapter 14!
DISCLAIMER: *sigh*, do I even have to say it?
"Crap." was the only word that entered in Ash's mind as the mass of airships came flying towards him and May.
"Ash," said May in a panicked tone, "What are we going to do?!"
Ash looked out the window, and saw Charizard, Lucario and Pikachu scrambling around, unsure of what to do. Ash quickly stuck his head out the window and snapped his fingers twice, alerting Charizard of his location. Charizard replied with a mighty roar, and flew towards Ash, Lucario and Pikachu on his back. Ash grabbed two pokeballs from his belt, readying himself to return Charizard and Lucario to their balls as soon as they were close enough.
But Ash forgot one important detail. The airship's captain was still in the room. Before Charizard, Lucario, and Pikachu could get close enough, a metal shudder fell over the window, blocking them from entering the airship. Ash turned around to see that the captain had pressed yet another button.
"Heheheh... looks like your pokemon are toast." said the captain with a vicious smile. "I've also locked us in this room, with 5-inch thick steel walls. You're done for. You've gotten what you wanted. The airships are the castle!"
Aggravated, Ash snapped his fingers, knocking out the captain. Ash turned to May and opened his mouth to speak, but did not get the chance to. The room began to shake violently, meaning that their airship had connected with the rest of the castle. Ash grabbed May, and held her close in a protective manner. Once the shaking ceased, there was silence. Ash released May from his embrace.
Ash opened his mouth the speak, but was interrupted once again, this time by the sound of the castle submerging itself in water. The sound did not end for a while, causing May to wonder just how deep the castle was sinking. Finally, the sounds stopped, and everything seemed at peace.
"Well, that was... unexpected." said May, sitting on the floor.
"Hmm..." hummed Ash sadly, sitting as well.
"Ash, don't worry. Charizard, Lucario and Pikachu are fine. I'm sure they just flew off to one of the Orange Islands when they were locked out."
"Yeah, you're probably right."
They sat there in silence for a few more minutes.
"So, are we really trapped in this room?" asked May, looking around.
"Of course not." said Ash.
Ash stood up and walked over to a wall. He knocked on it a couple times, feeling it out. Both his eyebrows slightly lifted in surprise at what he had learned.
"Damn, he wasn't lying. These really are about 5 inches thick. No matter though. I'll take care of it."
May watched as blue light shone from Ash's eyes. He pointed an index finger at the wall, and shot a thin beam of Positive Aura towards it. As soon as the beam made contact with the wall, sparks flew everywhere. May watched in admiration, wanting to learn how to shoot Aura from her fingertips.
Soon the sparks stopped, meaning Ash's beam had drilled through the wall. But the beam was not stopped. Instead, Ash moved his arm, making a circle with the beam. Within minutes, the beam created the outline for a large hole in the wall.
"Prepare yourself." said Ash to May. "I'm sure what I just did caused tons of commotion. There's proooobably gonna be a lot of bad guys on the other side of this wall. So as soon as I kick through this circle, be prepared to spring into action."
"Gotcha."
Without hesitation, Ash kicked through the circle, creating a large hole in the wall. As expected, about 15 Aura Warlords grunts were waiting on the other side, ready for battle. Ash was the first to jump through the hole, dodging a Negative Aura Sphere as he jumped. As soon as he landed, he quickly formed 7 levitating Positive Aura Spheres around his body, not using his hands. As quick as they formed, they fired, hitting 7 of the 15 enemies, incapacitating them on contact.
Before Ash could take down any other foes, a red blur zipped around the remaining 8 enemies, disposing of them immediately. The red blur then stopped in front of Ash.
"Hah, I took down 8, while you only got 7. Who knows, maybe I'm the Master of Legend." said May teasingly.
"Tee-hee, very funny." said Ash sarcastically. "Let's go."
"Where are we going exactly?" asked May.
Ash froze.
"That's a wonderful question." said Ash. "Should we save Max first?"
"Of course!"
"Then let's go save Max!" said Ash running down the first path he saw.
"Do you have any idea where Max even is?" asked May, following our hero.
"No, but I have a hunch we're going the right way!"
May facepalmed.
A few hours later, Ash and May were still running through the halls, looking for the prison hold. They still had not found Max. They had encountered countless Aura Warlords, none of them willing to give May and Ash any information. May was becoming impatient. Her brother was so close yet so far away. She missed him. Soon our heroes reached a point where the hall split into two different paths. May took this as the perfect time to say what was on her mind.
"Ash." said May, stopping.
"Hm?"
"I think we should split up." said May flatly.
Ash's face paled.
"Y-you mean y-you're breaking up with m-me?" whimpered Ash.
"No!" shouted May quickly. "I mean we should go in two different directions. I have a plan."
Color quickly returned to Ash's face as he sighed in relief. "Okay, what's this plan of yours?"
"Think about this; Since I can pass as a Aura Warlord when I put my hood on, it'd be better for me to look for Max. In my disguise, I can ask any Aura Warlord where the prison is. Once I find out where it is, I'll knock out the guards there, rescue Max, and find my way back to you."
"Alright... where am I supposed to go then?" asked Ash.
"You look for Sir Aaron and defeat him. By the time you beat him, I should already have Max."
"Are you sure about this? I don't know if I'll be able to save you if you're in danger this time around." said Ash worriedly.
"I'll be fine." said May, placing a small kiss on Ash's lips. "Now will you go kick Sir Aaron's ass for me?"
"Will do. Now you be careful, okay?" said Ash, hugging May tightly. "Love ya."
"I love you too." said May.
Ash then departed, heading down the hall on the right.
"I guess I'll just go this way then..." said May as she walked down the left hall, putting her hood on.
Knock! Knock!
"I wonder who that could be." thought Misty aloud.
"I'm busy. You open it." said Brock, who was reading a Pokemon Biology textbook.
Misty stood up from her seat and cautiously walked over to the door. Her and Brock had been extremely cautious of everything since the night Paul revealed to them the danger they were in.
"Who is it?" she said.
"It's us." said a familiar male voice.
"Who is 'us'?" asked Misty in a sassy tone.
"Ash and May." said a familiar female voice. Brock looked up from his textbook while Misty raised an eyebrow.
"Really? Why are you guys here?" asked Misty, still a little unsure.
"We have a lot of crazy stuff to tell you guys. Open the door already, Mist." said 'Ash' impatiently.
"How do I know you're the real Ash?"
"Ummmm... I stole your bike?" said 'Ash'.
Misty thought for a moment, wondering if that was enough to confirm it was truly Ash and May. She looked over to Brock for guidance. He shrugged his shoulders. Misty rolled her eyes and opened the door, half-expecting to see what she saw. Two Aura Warlords. They had special microphones attached to their mouths, which made their voices sound like Ash and May's. Misty's eyebrows furrowed in anger.
"I should have known... The real Ash thinks I'm still mad at him. *sigh* Brock, the enemy is here." said Misty as she grabbed a pokeball from her pocket.
In her disguise, May walked down the halls. It had been about an hour since she had split up with Ash, and she had found nothing yet. It seemed like the castle was a maze, filled with empty halls and eerie silence. With each second, May's desire to see her little brother grew more and more. She began to run down the halls, desperately in search for a person that could tell her where the prison cells were.
Finally, she stumbled upon a janitor sweeping the floor. Before approaching the man, May completed her disguise by channeling a small amount of Negative Aura into her eyes, changing them from blue to red. Ready, May took a deep breath and approached the janitor.
"Hello. Do you know where in this castle the prisoners are kept?" asked May, altering her voice to make it sound evil.
The janitor looked at May and raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, I do, and you should too. How come you don't know your way around the castle?" asked the man analytically.
"Umm... I'm new. I was just recruited as a prison guard yesterday. I would like to know where the prison is." lied May.
"Oh. Lucky for you, the prison is close by. Continue down this hallway, and make a right. Then head down the stairs, and make a left. Then you'll be at the prison hold."
"Thanks." said May as she ran down the hallway.
The janitor watched her leave. When she was out of sight, he pulled out a phone-like item and pressed a button. He then spoke into it.
"We have an intruder heading for the prison. Female. Armed. Proceed with caution."
"Sudowoodo! Use Rock Throw!"
"Politoed, Water Gun!"
The battle had been raging on for at least an hour. Brock and Misty had been able to move the battle to a nearby open field to avoid damage to their home. Misty's Starmie and Psyduck had already fainted, while Brock's Croagunk and Crobat were also unconscious. While Misty and Brock's teams were weakening, the Aura Warlords' Dark Lucarios showed no signs of fatigue.
The Dark Lucarios easily dodged Sudowoodo and Politoed's attacks. They immediately countered with Aura Spheres. While Sudowoodo was able to dodge, Politoed was not as fast. The ball of Negative Aura collided with Politoed's leg, causing immense pain.
"Politoed no!" cried Misty.
"Knock it out." commanded Aura Warlord #1. His Dark Lucario grunted, and ran towards the injured Politoed, channeling Negative Aura into its fist.
"Sudowoodo, jump in front of Politoed and use Counter!" yelled Brock.
"Sudo Sudo!" replied Sudowoodo as it hopped in front of Politoed. When the Dark Lucario arrived, Sudowoodo slapped the enemy's fist away with one branch, and punched the Dark Lucario's stomach with the other.
"Sudo! Sudowoodo?" said Sudowoodo, turning to Politoed.
"Poli..." grunted Politoed. Judging by his voice, he was clearly in pain.
"Politoed, return!" called Misty. She then grabbed her last pokeball. The rest of her pokemon were at the Cerulean Gym. "Come out, Gyarados!"
In a flash of white light, Misty's powerhouse of a Gyarados emerged from the pokeball.
"Gyarados, use Hyper Beam!"
Gyarados angrily roared, and began to charge the lethal beam in its mouth. Brock, realizing that Gyarados would need some time to charge a Hyper Beam powerful enough, opted to keep their foes occupied. He grabbed a pokeball from his belt and tossed it into the air.
"Onix, come on out!"
"Brock, just keep them busy for 30 seconds!" called Misty.
"I'm on it! Sudowoodo, use Slam! Onix, Stone Edge!"
"Dodge and use Power-Up Punch on Sudowoodo." commanded both Aura Warlords in unison.
Both of the Dark Lucarios followed their orders and dodged Sudowoodo and Onix's attacks. Then, as ordered, they Power-Up Punched Sudowoodo, one punch on the left, the other on the right. Sudowoodo cried out in pain, badly injured by the brutal attack. Before he could counter attack, the Dark Lucario's jumped away, back to their owners.
"Sudowoodo, are you alright?!" asked Brock.
Sudowoodo turned to Brock and smiled.
"Sudowoodo!" shouted Sudowoodo proudly, saluting Brock. But then, Sudowoodo frowned, shuddered, and collapsed, swirls around his eyes.
"Dammit..." muttered Brock as he returned Sudowoodo to its ball.
"Hah, there's no hope for you." chuckled Aura Warlord #1. "You're both down to your last pokemon. Once we dispose of them, we'll kill you-"
"GHRRRAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHH!" bellowed Gyarados as it finally fired its gargantuan Hyper Beam.
The Hyper Beam was headed straight for Aura Warlord #2, at an incredibly fast speed. There was no time to dodge. As soon as the Hyper Beam made contact, the Aura Warlord was no more. His body had disintegrated in a matter of seconds. And, as expected, his Dark Lucario faded away as a result of it's master's death.
There was silence.
"Well played." said Aura Warlord 1, staring bitterly at the pile of ashes that was his partner 20 seconds ago.
"Good job Gyarados!" cheered Misty.
"Shit..." thought the Aura Warlord. "I have to get out of here. I won't be able to defeat these two by myself. And to think out of the Master of Legend's friends, these two aren't even the most dangerous... This is bad. First I lose to that purple-haired brat, and now I'm running away from these two..."
The Aura Warlord then felt a vibration in his pocket. He reached into it and pulled out his phone. 1 new message from his other team mate.
"Todd, the two coordinators escaped. I almost had the green haired one, but the other came and shot me with a Confuse Ray, and they both got away. What should we do?"
Todd squeezed his phone in anger. His team promised Master Brecht that they'd get the job done, and they were failing. Sure, they had been able to defeat that Ritchie guy, but since then, they weren't as lucky. And now one of them was dead.
"Keith, meet me in the Unova Region. These two gym leaders are fucking strong. Kevin's just been killed by one of them, so it's just you and me. I'm going to escape. You and I will meet up in Unova and try to take down Iris and Cilan. After that, we'll see who we'll go for next. We can't afford to fail our mission." typed Todd.
Misty and Brock watched in confusion as their enemy stood before them, texting.
"Yo! Are you gonna fight us, or sit there and text all day?!" hollered Misty.
Todd looked up from his phone and glared at Misty. His eyes began to glow red with Negative Aura. A few seconds later, a portal appeared next to him.
He then turned and stepped into it.
"Hey! Get back here!" shouted Misty as she charged towards Todd and his portal.
But she was too late. Todd stepped through the portal, and it had closed before Misty could get to it.
"Damn, he got away." said Misty. "Gyarados, return."
Brock returned Onix to his ball as well. The battle had ended.
An hour later, Misty and Brock were in a pokemon center, healing their pokemon. Brock and Misty had not spoken since the battle. As the Nurse Joy placed their pokeballs in the machine, Misty spoke.
"...Those guys were strong." said Misty.
"Really strong... and those Dark Lucarios were pretty terrifying." said Brock.
"What bothers me the most is that those guys were probably just average Aura Warlords... These villains are so powerful that their grunts are strong enough to have two experienced Gym Leaders on the ropes."
"Yeah... I just hope Ash and May are okay. These Aura Warlords really are a force to be reckoned with." said Brock, staring at the ceiling.
"Oh man... I really hope the pokemon are okay..." thought Ash as he ran down the hallways. "If only there was a way to contact them... Oh wait, I can contact Lucario telepathically!"
"The fact that it took you this long to realize that is quite disappointing, Master." echoed Lucario's voice in Ash's mind.
"Lucario! Are you guys okay?!" asked Ash.
"We are fine. We have safely landed on a small island."
"Thank goodness. We're safe too."
"So you are planning on doing battle with Sir Aaron?" asked Lucario.
"Yes, I am." said Ash seriously.
"Be careful. He will not be an easy foe. From what we have seen, he is more than capable of defeating you. When you battle him, there will be no room for error."
"Yeah, I know. But before I think about fighting him, maybe I should think about FINDING him. I have no idea where the throne room of this place is!"
"From what I've sensed, you've been knocking out or killing every Aura Warlord you've come across, correct?"
"Yep."
"Have you considered searching their pockets for a map of the castle? A castle that large must be hard to navigate, even for the workers." asked Lucario.
"..."
"Master, is something wrong?"
"..."
"Master?"
"Stupid Lucario and his stupid good ideas..." mumbled Ash as he ignored Lucario's voice in his head.
Ash stopped moving and turned around. The last time he had incapacitated and Aura Warlord was 20 minutes ago. Ash groaned. Deciding not to waste any more time, Ash channeled Positive Aura into his legs. He then ran down the way that he came at top speed. in 45 seconds, he had reached the Aura Warlord he knocked out 20 minutes ago.
He quickly shoved his hands into the Aura Warlord's pockets and much to his relief, he found a map. After finding his position, he discovered something that made his blood boil.
The throne room was a few steps away from the hall he was speaking to Lucario in. If he never spoke to Lucario, he would have been there already, making the whole run back to the knocked out Aura Warlord superfluous.
Ash crumpled the map into a ball, threw it at the wall, and shot multiple Aura Spheres at it. He wanted to just zoom back to where he was before at top speed, but that would take up energy. And he needed all the energy he could get to take down Sir Aaron. So Ash decided to walk. Most of the walk was spent in deep thought. The closer he got to the throne room, the more he began to doubt himself. But remembering one of the things he was fighting for drove the doubt away. May.
"I can't lose. I have to win. For May. She needs me, and I need her." thought Ash repeatedly as he arrived at the door leading to the throne room. He looked at both of his hands, and saw Positive Aura burning in one, and Negative Aura burning in the other. He was Ash Ketchum. The Master of Legend. It was time for him to prove that Arceus made the right choice.
"Let's do this." said Ash as he kicked down the door rather dramatically.
A cloud of dust emerged from the kicked down door, and Ash walked into it. The person sitting on the throne looked at the cloud of smoke, and saw only a pair of glowing blue eyes, getting closer and closer with every second.
Finally, the smoke cleared, and the glowing blue eyes were revealed to be owned by Ash Ketchum.
"SIR AARON! I'VE COME TO DEFEAT YO-"
"Sir Aaron isn't heeeeeeeere." said the person sitting at the throne. They were dressed in the average Aura Warlord cloak, except for shining black gauntlets on their arms.
"Where is he then?!" yelled Ash.
"Quit yelling. It's not fabulous." said the person.
"Who are you anyway?!"
"You're still yelling. So unfabulous."
"Uggghhh... who are you?"
"I am the stupendously fabulous Kamerion Augusus, Sir Aaron's right hand man, and as of now, the most powerful, and fabulous, person in this castle." said the man.
"Cool. I'm Ash Ketchum, the Master of Legend. And you're wrong. I'm the most powerful and fabulous person in this castle." said Ash with confidence.
Kamerion stood from the throne and looked Ash in the eye. He was not happy.
"Nobody is more fabulous than I am. You better watch your mouth, or I'll beat you up."
"You're gonna beat me up?" snorted Ash.
"Yeah, and then I'll go after your unfabulous whore of a girlfriend!"
Ash's eyes narrowed in anger. His brown irises glowed red as he channeled Negative Aura into his fist and delivered a powerful punch to Kamerion's face. The incredible impact sent Kamerion flying, his body painfully landing on the ground.
"Don't talk shit about my girlfriend." said Ash as he walked over to Kamerion's body. Ash's eyes widened. Kamerion was dead. "Though I might have overdone it on that punch..."
Since his only opposition in the room was no longer alive, Ash took this as his chance to look around and see if he could find anything useful. Ash looked around, and spotted a safe behind the throne. Ash blasted a small hole through the door of the safe and found a small book inside. The book had a lock on it. Ash looked into the safe and found a key inside of it. He grabbed the key.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you. Totally not fabulous." said a familiar voice.
Ash's eyes widened as he turned around. Kamerion was standing up, alive again. He looked the same, except for the fact that he had pointed teeth.
"H-how are you..."
"Still alive? I'm fabulous."
"No really."
"What do you mean? My fabulousness revived me!"
"I'm going to kill you. Again." said Ash monotonously.
"Why?"
"You're annoying."
"I'M FABULOUS!"
Ash's fist glowed with Negative Aura as he prepared to punch Kamerion in the face again, with the same amount of strength and power as before. He thrust his fist, aiming it straight for Kamerion's face. He felt his fist connect, but it didn't feel like it hit Kamerion's face. Ash's jaw dropped as he realized that Kamerion had caught his fist.
"Allow me to give you a fabulous explanation of what's going on here." said Kamerion, smiling an evil grin. "I'm sure you've encountered some Aura Warlords that were given fabulous powers by Master Brecht. I am no different. The fabulous Master Brecht bestowed upon me a fabulous power! You could say that I'm a cat. A fabulous cat."
Ash yanked his fist from Kamerion's hand and backed away from Kamerion. Confusion was written all over his face.
"You're... a cat?"
"Correction: a fabulous cat."
Ash pinched the bridge of his nose in aggravation. "Explain what you mean by 'cat'."
"I have 9 fabulous lives. Each time I am given a new life, more fabulous and cat-like than the last. I'm sure you've noticed the sharp fangs I have now?" said Kamerion, pointing to his teeth. "These fabulous fangs weren't here before you killed me. Nor were these sharp, fabulous claws!"
"Big whoop, you're cat-like. I'll just kill you 8 more times." said Ash nonchalantly.
"I forgot one fabulous detail." said Kamerion with a smile. He then zoomed in front of Ash and scratching him in the face. Ash felt the scratch and saw that it was bleeding.
"What the-"
"My speed and strength double with each time I am fabulously revived!" cackled Kamerion as he rushed towards Ash, planning on attacking him again.
This time, Ash was prepared. He gracefully dodged the claw and formed a Positive Aura Sphere in his hand. Instead of shooting it, he pushed the Aura Sphere into Kamerion's stomach. A pained Kamerion doubled over, clutching his stomach. Ash took this as an opportunity to elbow him in the back of the head with all his might. Kamerion fell to the ground. Dead. Again.
"Only 7 more to go..." sighed Ash as Kamerion's body began to glow red.
In seconds, Kamerion was alive again. His red eyes became more feline, with black slits for pupils. Whiskers had also sprouted on his face.
"I'm back! Did ya miss me and my fabulousness?!" yelled Kamerion as he formed a Negative Aura Sphere and fired it at Ash. Ash slapped the attack away, and retaliated with his own. Ash's Aura Sphere zoomed towards it's target, only to be dodged by Kamerion.
Kamerion then rushed towards Ash at a speed twice as fast as before. He attacked Ash with a series of quick scratches and slashes. Ash dodged all of them easily, jumped into the air, and attempted to strike Kamerion with a Negative Aura fueled drop-kick. Kamerion grabbed Ash's leg mid-kick, and threw him across the room. Ash landed on his feet.
"This is going to be annoying." thought Ash aloud as Kamerion rushed towards him.
Ash pointed a finger at Kamerion, his hand in a finger gun position. He aimed his Aura Gun attack straight at Kamerion's forehead. His eyes glowed blue as he fired a single bullet of Positive Aura and Kamerion. The bullet hit its target, killing Kamerion yet again.
"Man, Kamerion's gettin' his ass whooped." said The Vanishing Man, watching the battle.
"Indeed, he is." concurred Master Brecht. "But his power will soon become an issue for the Master of Legend."
"In his current state, yes Kamerion is weak. But once he is on his last few lives, he'll be strong enough to really push the boy to his limits." said Sir Aaron with a smirk.
"Hmph, whatever. This fight is boring." said The Vanishing Man, standing up. "I'm heading back to my palace."
"Sit down this instant." commanded Master Brecht, power radiating from his voice.
The Vanishing Man's eyes widened in fear as he quickly sat back down. "Heheh...Sorry."
"We must watch this fight. Especially you. You need to see what Ash is capable of when pushed to his limits. Because once he defeats Kamerion, there is a large chance he'll go to your dumpster of a palace next. And he'll probably end up fighting you. So sit down and watch closely, fool." said Sir Aaron.
"I'm not a fool! You're a fool!" replied The Vanishing Man childishly.
"If I'm a fool, then you're an idiot." retorted Sir Aaron.
"Well you're a double idiot!"
"You're a-"
"The Master of Legend has just killed Kamerion for the 6th time. Kamerion is on his 3rd to last life. The real battle should begin now. Watch closely and shut up, Both of you." ordered Master Brecht.
Kamerion was becoming a problem. Ash had already killed him six times, and it was becoming harder and harder to kill him every time. Kamerion's appearance had drastically changed in his past six deaths. He had grown cat ears, along with even longer fangs and claws. There were patches of black fur on his knees and elbows, and instead of standing on two feet, he operated on all fours. He barely spoke, but when he did, he'd hiss or roar in between sentences. His speed had matched May's at this point, and his physical strength was beginning to catch up with Ash's. Granted Ash's strength was dwindling due to the energy he had used to kill Kamerion six times. And to top it all off, a cat shaped shroud of Negative Aura surrounded his body.
"Damn." thought Ash. "He's getting strong, and he still has 3 lives left... I have to save my energy to be able to fight his final form, but at the same time, his current state requires energy to deal with... what am I going to d-"
Ash's thoughts were cut off by Kamerion pouncing on Ash. Ash landed on his back, with Kamerion on top of him. But before Kamerion could do anything else, Ash kicked him off with both feet. Kamerion landed on his feet and charged towards Ash. Ash formed an Aura Sword in his hand and swung it towards Kamerion. Kamerion parried the sword with one hand and slashed Ash's chest with another.
"Shit!" swore Ash as he held a hand over the bleeding wound. He tried to jump away from Kamerion, but Kamerion's speed was making it difficult.
"Die!" roared Kamerion as he made a slashing motion with his hand, causing a crescent shaped arc on Negative Aura to form. He then sent the arc flying towards Ash.
"Uh-oh." said Ash as the large attack zoomed towards him.
He dodged it, only to find Kamerion running towards him at top speed. Kamerion jumped towards Ash to attack, but was sent flying due to a powerful Negative Aura fueled kick dealt to him by Ash. Kamerion's head hit the wall, dazing him.
"This is my chance!" said Ash as his eyes glowed blue.
He got into traditional Aura Sphere stance, and began to channel Positive Aura into the space between his hands. Once enough Positive Aura was channeled, he thrust both hands forward, shooting a thick, concentrated beam from them. The same beam he had used to disintegrate Giovanni.
The attack met Kamerion's body. Ash made sure to make the attack only as powerful as it needed to be, in an effort to save energy for his battle with Kamerion's next life. When the attack finished, Kamerion's body was charred and burnt.
"Well..." said Ash, breathing heavily. "Only two lives left."
Kamerion's body began to glow red yet again as it underwent another transformation. Black fur began to cover his whole body, and his hands turned into paws. His face morphed into that of a panther's. All that remained of his Aura Warlord clothing was a tattered piece of red cloth that hung from his neck, and his metal gauntlets. His body grew to the size of a car. He was barely human anymore.
Once the transformation ended, Kamerion's eyes opened, to reveal that there were no longer had irises. Both of his eyeballs were completely red, except for the thin black slits that were his pupils. Negative Aura radiated from his body in a steam-like fashion. His power had doubled yet again.
Ash blinked his eye. Before he blinked, Kamerion was across the room. After he blinked, Kamerion was right in front of him. Ash was caught off guard, and Kamerion used this as an opportunity to deliver a powerful slash to Ash's side.
"Aggghhhh!" yelled Ash, clutching the deep wound in pain. He was bleeding profusely.
Ash fell to his knees, dealing with the immense pain the attack had brought. Kamerion laughed and approached Ash, a large smile on his feline face.
"It looks like our fabulous battle is over." said Kamerion in a deep, husky voice.
Ash, tried to stand, but fell to his knees again.
"It's been a fabulous time. Do you have any last words?"
"Do you use any other adjectives besides 'fabulous'?" muttered Ash bitterly.
"No." said Felix as he lifted a claw, ready to deal the final blow to Ash.
But just then, someone was seen entering the room. Both Kamerion and Ash turned their heads to see a guard.
"Lord Kamerion, I've found something that I want to show you." said the guard.
"What do you want to show me?" asked Kamerion, lowering his claw.
"I was just walking around the castle, when I stumbled upon these two causin' trouble." said the man as he turned around and grabbed to objects.
The guard then carelessly tossed the two objects on the ground in front of him. Ash's eyes widened in horror. It was May and Max. Max was conscious, and had a terrified expression on his face. May was unconscious, bloody, and bruised.
Chapter 14 complete! The writer's block I had for this chapter was immense. But luckily I overcame it. I already have most of the next chapter planned out, so the next chapter won't take as long as this one did. Thanks for reading.
