DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN DEGRASSI
Cam's POV
"Saunders. We need to have a little chat."
I turn around and see Miles. Oh, great! He walks up to me in fury. He was clearly mad, since Maya had just broken up with him. I bet he blames me.
"What do you want Miles?", I asked rolling my eyes. Why couldn't he just leave me alone.
"Well, considering you just made Maya break up with me, I wa-", Miles started.
"I didn't make anyone do anything.", I quickly cut him off. He looked at me annoyed.
"We all know you want Maya. You've been all over her since you got here.", He shot at me. I rolled my eyes.
"So what if I do? She was my girlfriend first. It's not even like you care about her.", I shot back. Miles laughed, then smirked.
"Look, Cam. I know your just jealous of me. Just face it. I got the girl and you didn't. Deal with it.", Miles smirked.
That phrase was far too familiar. It was basically what Zig told me last year. Well, guess what? I'm not falling for it this year. I'm not fragile anymore. Miles isn't going to scare me away that easy. I'm not backing down this time.
"Jealous of you? Why would I be jealous of some stuck-up rich kid, who uses people to get what they want? If anything you're jealous of me!", I confidently responded. Miles looked a little taken back.
"Jealous of some depressed kid? No, thanks.", Miles scoffed. I rolled my eyes and let his snide remark slide right off me. Remarks like that didn't bother me anymore.
"Ooh. Green really isn't your color.", I smirked. Miles's face reddened and I swear I could see flames in his eyes.
"Just stay away from Maya!", Miles shouted at me. I laughed.
"You can't tell me what to do.", I laughed.
"I can and I will.", He commanded. I rolled my eyes. Who is he to tell me what to do? He's more controlling than I thought.
"Wow. No wonder Maya broke up with you. You are controlling.", I told him. Miles got even madder. He looked like he was going to punch me. Good thing I'm a hockey player.
"You know what Saunders, just wait. Me and Maya will be back together in no time. And once again, you'll be left all alone.", He shot at me. I gave him a look of annoyance.
"Actually, Hollingsworth, that won't be the case. You see, Maya doesn't like you. You're too controlling. She likes me.", I reassured him. Miles grindded his jaw and his body stiffened up. I'm 90% sure he's going to punch me. I ready myself to duck, just in case.
"I'm going to tell you one last time. Stay away from Maya.", Miles commanded. I shook my head.
"And why should I do that?", I questioned him.
"Because I said so.", Miles told me, confidently. I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"I'm sure you're used to getting whatever you want, since you're a rich-kid, but that's not how real life works. Give me a real reason.", I smirked. Miles huffed out a breath in annoyance.
"Because I love her and you don't.", Miles said. I laughed in disbelief.
"Are you kidding me? I love her more than you ever will.", I told him. He's an idiot for thinking I don't love Maya. If anyone doesn't love Maya it's him. He's just using her.
"She's not going to pick you. She doesn't want someone who's unstable.", Miles shot at me. I laughed. I can't believe he thought these comments still hurt me. I've moved on from all this stuff.
"I'm not unstable. And of corse she'll pick me. I'm not using her.", I said to Miles. He was clearly offended by my comment. He crossed his arms and looked taken back.
"I'm not using her.", Miles scoffed.
"Yes you are. You're going to play with her until you find something better. I've heard about you. People talk. You're the biggest player on campus. It's all just a game to you.", I told him. It really upset Miles, because his face got redder and he uncrossed his arms.
"What about you? You're not so great! You just want Maya to be another one of your puck bunnies!", Miles shot at me. I laughed.
"Maya's not a puck bunny. She's so much more than that. We have a connection that you two will never have.", I scoffed. Miles is so stupid. I can't believe he thinks he knows Maya better than I do.
"Just stay away from her! Our relationship was fine, until you came! Just get out of her life, so we can be happy again! This is all your fault!", Miles yelled at me. He was visibly upset.
I shook my head. The last time someone told me to get out of Maya's life. I almost ended up dead. I'm not going to take it personal. I'm also, not going to get out of Maya's life. She means too much to me. I'm not going to just give up on her. Miles can forget about that, because it's not happening.
"Nothing is my fault. If you guys really had a strong relationship, nothing would have happened. Me coming back to degrassi wouldn't have changed you relationship at all. You guys still would have been happy. Nothing ruins a strong relationship.", I confidently told Miles.
"You don't even know what a strong relationship is.", Miles shot at me. I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, I do. Because I had one. With Maya.", I said. Miles rolled his eyes and huffed out a breath.
"As if. She'd never go out with someone who's unstable. Let alone have a strong relationship with them.", He scoffed. Wow. Unstable was really his only stab at me. It's really sad how he thinks it still bothers me.
"Call me unstable all you want, but you know it's not true.", I smirked at him.
"As if, Saunders.", Miles shot at me.
"But you're the one with the real problem. Maya won't want a guy with and anger management problem.", I smirked. Miles got really mad. He tensed up and clenched his fists. I had a feeling he was going to hit me. He swung his fist at me, but I ducked. Then BOOM! He hit the locker. Actually he hit it so hard it left a dent. I rolled my eyes and walked away.
"See you later, Hollingsworth.", I smirked.
I hope you all liked it! Let me know what you think! What do you think is going to happen next? Next chapter will be up soon! Thanks for reading! :)
