Love-in-idleness
(linebreakplaceholder)
I hate it when authors do these things when readers are expecting an update, but anyhow, Love-in-idleness is currently on-going revisions. I know I said that revisions and the update will be up by January or at any month prior to now, but I haven't. I thought of just a big batch upload of the revised chapters and the update, but my laptop was uncooperative.
And to make matters worse, the program I'm using to write doesn't save recovery files, so I lost about 60 pages of work.
If some of you have noticed, chapter 1 has been revised and a lot of things have changed.
For one, Tenkou is introduced early and it is what you think it is.
What? Two friends fighting over some guy??
Well. This is tagged as a parody for a reason, but as the very premise of the title, Love-in-idleness, it's more of an exploration of love and its misconceptions than it is a love story.
Right now, I'm exploring the idea of whether or not Shikai should continue such as affair with him, or if she has her eye on something/someone else. (Hey, Genma seems to be a decent enough candidate? Unimportant enough to the actual story of Naruto, yet intriguing enough to garner some really good character interactions. Or should I pursue the idea of Shikai and Tenzou as is in my unfinished story, Cacophony... Or should I forgo the idea of Shikai with another man entirely and focus on her lost love?)
Thanks all for reading. I hope you're in it for the long haul as much as I am.
