Thank you for reading the next chapter of The Klaine Archives! Send in prompts to keep the story going! I will do them all!

This one is from MarinaAnderson: 'Kurt and Blaine are living in the end of the 19th century and of course it is totally unacceptable for them to be gay or to love each other, but they do in secret. Blaine is a son of a rich family and they force him to marry some woman from another rich family and it turns out that Kurt is her personal servant.
It's up to you what happens exactly from there.'

Unfortunately I do not own Glee.

Kurt looked at him every day.

The dashing boy from the Anderson family spent every afternoon going for a walk through the streets and to the nearby river. Kurt always watched him from his masters' window as he cleaned the house day after day. Occasionally Blaine would spot Kurt in the window and smile at his quickly as he walked by. Every time he did Kurt's heart skipped a beat.

He knew it was frowned upon to feel loving feelings towards another man, but Kurt had to accept that that's who he was, but no one could ever know. No one could ever know that he was in love with another man, Blaine Anderson. No one could ever know that Blaine felt the same. No one could ever know the two of them had been having an affair in secret for the past few months.

Kurt knew it could never work; they could never be together and be happy. However, in those precious moments when they were alone together Kurt felt like he was born again every single time. The way Blaine's lips tasted, how his bare chest felt to rest his head on when they snuck off together in the empty barn, how it felt when he wrapped his fingers around his own. It was perfect, yet it could never be. Being with another man was wrong in everyone else's eyes. Kurt knew it, Blaine knew it, everyone knew it.

So why does it have to feel so good?

That night the two boys met in the barn again and their lips immediately found each other's. They gently removed their clothes and made love in the straw as the moonlight beamed down upon them. After, they just lay there in each other's arms with a blanket wrapped around them.

"...I have to tell you something." Blaine whispered in Kurt's ear and kissed it.

"What is it?" Kurt asked, moving his head to look the other boy in the eye.

"...My parents have arranged for me to marry a local girl." Blaine said. The words hit Kurt like poison hit veins. Blaine explained how he had tried to get out of it but it was of no use. Kurt listened to Blaine's story and felt tears form in his eyes.

"Why can we never just be happy?" Kurt asked genuinely. Blaine guided Kurt's head to face his and kissed him passionately.

"We have here. Now. But once I'm married, this cannot continue. I wish it could, but it goes against everything my family stands for. Being with another man is sin enough, but someone who is...who is..." Blaine explained.

"...Poor?" Kurt finished. Blaine turned away.

"I am sorry, Kurt." Blaine said and stood up, starting to put his underwear and trousers on.

"...Who is the girl?" Kurt asked.

"She's from the other rich household, the Berry's. Rachel is her name." Blaine said. Kurt's heart stopped.

"...Kurt? What is it?" Blaine asked, leaning down next to his lover and taking his hand.

"I work for Rachel Berry. She is of my master's house." Kurt said. Blaine's whole expression changed into one of shock and sadness.

"That would mean you would then work for me." Blaine said.

"I could not do it. I could not bring myself to clean your house knowing that you were always with her, making children with her...I would rather die than see every day what I could have had." Kurt said as tears fell down his cheeks. Blaine wiped them away but Kurt pushed him out of the way and proceeded to get dressed. Blaine put on his shirt and tried to embrace Kurt, but he stepped back.

"Kurt, you know I have no choice." Blaine said.

"I know, but you should not marry someone you do not love." Kurt said.

"I know; if I were to marry the person I loved I would marry you." Blaine said. Kurt stared at him.

"I love you, Kurt." Blaine said and kissed Kurt with all the passion in his body. Their lips parted for a brief moment.

"I love you, Blaine." Kurt said.

Their lips met again. After a few minutes, their embrace ended.

"It's late, we must get back." Kurt said. The two boys rushed out of the barn but stopped at the sight of a girl standing outside the barn door. Rachel Berry.

"...Rachel, it is not what it seems, Kurt and I-" Blaine began.

"-I heard everything. I followed Kurt here when I found he was not in his quarters." Rachel said.

"Blaine, you and I are due to be wed and you are getting passionate with...another man?" Rachel said.

"...Yes, but you cannot tell my family. We will be wed, but you must know that I can never love you. My heart belongs to Kurt." Blaine said.

"...Kurt?" Rachel asked.

"My heart is Blaine's." Kurt added. Rachel looked at the two boys and ran off in the direction of the Berry estate.

"RACHEL! NO!" Blaine shouted and the two boys gave chase. They lost her after a few minutes and Blaine began to panic.

"She will tell them the truth; we will be slaughtered!" Blaine cried. Kurt held him close.

"But then we will have an eternity together." Kurt whispered. Blaine kissed him before they continued to run to the Berry house. The clock struck midnight as they reached the main door, but Rachel appeared from out of the shadows with a large bag.

"Mistress, you cannot run away! Please tell me you have not told your family?" Kurt said.

"...I have not. And this is for you. It contains food, water and other supplied you will need on your journey until you settle." Rachel said, handing the bag to Blaine.

"...I do not understand."

"You must leave this place, both of you. Leave now and never look back. You must go." Rachel said.

"...But-"

"-Love is love. I would not wish to keep love apart when it is as strong as it is between you two. I cannot understand how you can both love another man, but I can accept it. I will find another suitable husband one day. Kurt, you have served me and my family well, but you are released. I hope you will both be happy in your endeavours." Rachel said. The two boys looked at each other and smiled. Kurt hugged Rachel.

"Thank you, miss." Kurt whispered. Blaine also hugged Rachel.

"Now...go. Just run. I hope you will be happy in the end." Rachel said and ran back into the house. The two boys could hear people stirring and getting out of bed all around them. Blaine grabbed Kurt's hand and rushed off to a large field, the bag wrapped around his chest.

The moon lit up the grass as the lovers ran across it.

"Where will we go?" Kurt asked. Blaine stopped him.

"Anywhere. We will be together, my love, and one day we can be happy. We will go wherever fate intends us to go."

"My parents are dead, but what about your family?" Kurt asked.

"They would never accept me for who I truly am. That is not family." Blaine said. Kurt kissed Blaine passionately again, his arms wrapped around his neck. They broke apart at the sound of voices and, hand in hand, ran across the rest of the field.

They ran to fulfil their dreams.

They ran to live their lives.

They ran to be together forever.

They ran to be in love.

They ran because it was meant to be.

They ran for their happy ending.

They ran.
