These past few weeks with Edward have been the best of my life. Being alone on the island with him was absolute bliss but just like every good thing in my life, it had to end. It all started with a phone call …

Edward quickly grabbed his phone and answered while I tried and failed to hold in my laughter.

He kissed me and then said "Hello?"

"Edward? Edward you have to come home. You and Rockell need to pack your things and be on the next flight back to Seattle and I'll meet you at the airport." came Alice's frantic voice.

"Alice what's going on ? Is everything okay?" he asked.

"It's Bella,"she seethed causing me to growl. "she's been turned and has teamed up with Victoria. She's been feeding in Forks. She's looking for you." and then for the first time since the day I first met him, Edward's eyes turned black with anger. He let out a loud roar and I snatched the phone from his hand.

"We'll be there as soon as possible Alice." I said before hanging up. By then Edward had jumped from the bed and run from the house. I followed his sent out into the forest and found him surrounded by fallen trees. He was currently reducing one to sawdust. "Edward." I called out to him. He didn't answer. I slowly walked up to him and laid a gentle hand on his back, he relaxed a little and turned to look at me. Eyes still a burning onyx.

"Come back to me darling." I said as I reached up to stroke his cheek. His eyes slowly changed back to their golden color and he leaned his forehead against mine. "It's gonna be okay Edward," I gave him a short peck on his lips "I promise." …

Now Edward and I were leaving the airport with Alice and Jasper and speeding back to Forks. It was a quiet ride, everyone silently agreeing to discuss the situation with the whole family present. We reached Forks in about an hour after we left the airport, and made it home five minutes after that. We rushed in to find Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, and Rosalie already seated at the dining room table waiting for us. We each took our seats and turned our attention to Carlisle.

"Edward, Rockell welcome home. We are sorry to have interrupted your honeymoon but it was imperative that you both be here. I'm sure Alice has filled you in on the situation?" to that we both nodded. "Good now what we need to do is figure out the best way to get rid of this problem without involving the Volturi." he said and Rosalie snorted.

"Oh now you worry about the Volturi? Where was this worry when jackass here first got involved with the bitch? When I specifically said that it wouldn't end well and no one listened to me. "You worry too much Rose." "Nothings going to happen Rose." bullshit! This is Edwards fault that the family is in danger. He should have broken up with her months ago and we all should've left her to live her normal human life!"

"DON'T YOU DARE BLAME THIS ON MY MATE!" I roared. "You dare to talk about him like that to his face, like you're so much better than him. How was he to know she'd turn out to be such a vindictive bitch? Especially if her thoughts were mute to him. And would you please shut your fucking mouth about her living a "normal human life." like her life could ever be normal again after you all stepped into it? She would've done anything to be turned and find you. And the bitch Victoria wouldn't even be after you if you all would've just let James have her! Yes Edward loved her but he wasn't the only one who fought for her. Alice, Jasper, Carlisle, Esme, your mate Emmett, and you. Even you fought for her. So if you are too proud to place blame on everyone involved then you have no right to put any blame on Edward."

"You know nothing –" she started.

"I know enough!" I growled. "Now would you please shut your mouth and let Carlisle talk." she sat back down and glared at me, I sat down and turned my attention to Edward. He smiled softly and I gave him a quick kiss, holding his hand tightly in mine.

"Now back to the matter at hand. Alice, have you seen anything?" Carlisle asked.

"Victoria is creating an army of newborns. Bella is her second in command. They both think they are getting around my visions so we will have the element of surprise. When they find us waiting for them. Her numbers are currently at one hundred but it keeps changing due to the newborns fighting each other and her having to make more. They aren't being trained so we have the advantage of skill, but we'll need help. We can't ask the dogs due to the fact that they are a blind spot for me and I have the feeling Bella's already been there. We'll call the Denali's which now includes Garrett, but Tanya will not fight with us do to her envy and angry towards Rockell. Jasper has already made the call to Peter and Charlotte, they'll be here by noon tomorrow. The outcome of the battle is blurry but Jasper suggested that we make then come to us in the clearing where we play baseball. It will give us an even greater advantage." Jasper squeezed her hand and she smiled at him.

"Good to know. Now Jasper considering that newborn vampires are the Major's area of expertise I am assuming you will allow him to train us?" he asked.

"Yes Carlisle, the Major will arrive with Peter tomorrow." Jasper nodded. I was confused by this, no one mentioned this Major before. Who is he?

"Alright then everyone enjoy some time with your mates because this will be the last time for a while. Maybe even the last time ever." Carlisle said and everybody went their separate ways. Edward took me up to his, well ours now, room.

"Rose is right you know," he said once we were settled in his bed. "this is my fault."

"Edward -" I started.

"No it's true. I was foolish to ever think that Bella was my mate, I should've never gotten involved with a human and now my family and you, my precious mate, are in danger because of my mistake." he said as he stared up at the ceiling. I turned his face to mine so that he had to look at me.

"You're right you were a fool to do that but even vampires make mistakes Edward. It was a mistake. And I won't allow you to wallow in guilt and self-pity. You're better than that. We will get through this alive and we will come out on top and stronger than before." I said.

"I hope you're right." he sighed.

"Oh Edward darling, I'm always right." I smiled and kissed him. As the kiss started heating up a thought suddenly occurred to me and I pulled away.

"What's wrong baby?" he asked.

"Edward, has Isabella ever been in this bed?" I asked.

"Um yeah actually, it was bought for her to sleep in when she, came, over." he said.

"Right..." I hopped off the bed pulling Edward up with me. "We're going to take this across the hall and into the shower," I told him as I stroked his hard length through his jeans. "and then you're going to carry me to the bed and have your way with me." his hands went to my ass and squeezed. "and finally lover, after the nuisance of Isabella Swan is gone from us forever you and I are going to take this bed outside and burn it." he smirked at me.

"As you wish darling." he growled playfully and threw me over his shoulder as he darted into the room across the hall.
