Summer came quickly. Everyone went back to their houses. Severus stayed with his mother and sister at their house until the second week of July. After that he went and stayed with Lucius to Malfoy Manor where Rabastan, Rodolphus, Augustus and Regulus were as well. Hermione stayed with her mother all the summer, Marlene visited them and stayed with them for about three weeks from the start of July.
At the first week of August Hermione had a dream about a small city near London which was destroyed by some men in black. Every man, woman and child was killed by them. One week later Hermione and Eileen learned that a city near London has been destroyed and no one from there was alive. Until the end of August every week the magical world had attacks everywhere. The name of the leader of the team was named Voldemort and his team Death Eaters. That team had strewn panic to every person magical or not.
Hermione and Eileen were very scared. They had tried to contact Severus but every owl was turning back without a reply or a sign that the letter had gone to Severus. The last week of the summer, Severus returned to his house with Lucius, Rabastan, Rodolphus, Augustus and Regulus. Eileen confronted him about his irresponsibility. Lucius chose the moment to enter Eileen's monolog and cover Severus with a story. He told her that because his father was scared about this new enemy he wanted to protect Severus and me. He told us to not contact anyone and we agreed.
Soon the children went back to Hogwarts. Hermione, Marlene and the other Marauders had agreed to meet each other at the platform. Hermione and Marlene arrived first. Suddenly a voice called them both. When they turned around to see who called him they smiled and yelled ''REMUS'' The three hugged each other tight.
Marlene pulled first away from the hug and went and hugged Sirius ''I missed you Sirius.''
Sirius hugged her back and kissed her head ''I missed you too Marlene.'' The two shared a passionate kiss.
James looked at Hermione, who was talking to Remus and Peter. He took a deep breath and went and stood in front of her. Hermione was taking aback by James move and took a step backwards. She came back to her senses seconds later ''James….'' She didn't finish her sentence. James had wrapped his arms around her waist. Hermione didn't waste a moment and wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head at his.
James broke the silence between them. ''I was so worried when I heard about the attacks. I was scared that something could have happened to you. Every day I was waiting to learn about you, to have a letter from you but nothing came. I only relaxed when my father told me that he came in contact with your mother.''
Hermione looked at him and saw tears streaming down his face. She wiped his tear with her hand ''Oh James...Hush I am here now. Nothing happened to me as you can see. Everything is fine. I am sorry but I couldn't contact you. Mother was very afraid and she didn't want me to contact anyone.''
James pulled her again into a tight hug. They pulled away few minutes later and looked at each other.
Marlene pulled them out of their eyes connection when she spoke. '' I think that it is time to leave. If we don't go now we will lose the train''
The others agreed and they boarded the train. Few hours later they arrived at Hogwarts grounds. Everyone went to the Great Hall for the traditional Welcome Feast. The first year students were quickly placed to their houses and the feast began. Everyone was chatting happy to be back to the safest place ever. No one knew though that this year would be very big not only inside the walls of the castle but outside of the walls as well.
