And their form of punishment is much worse than the one you gave Shippo. She bravely supports a few bruises now. But seriously, don't focus on that.
Look, here's what you need to do.
We've just reached the Kumo Market, and we found Jinenji. He's been fairly helpful. But give it a few days. Just a few more days, that's all. Give them a false sense of security that you don't care about us, that'll give us more time before they try anything on us. Jinenji's agreed to send this letter, as well as shelter us should we manage to get away.
Don't worry about Kagome. I'll try my damn hardest to keep her safe. She's been through enough already.
And tell Sango to keep counting the days. I'll see her when she hits zero.
