CHAPTER XIV
Mitchie's POV
I touch my cheek, the skin hot because of the smack he just gave me.
—Son of a ...—.
—Mitchie I...—.
—Move—. I walk past him pushing him away but he grabs my arm pulling me back
—Mitche,are you okay?—.
—LET GO YOU ASSHOLE!—. At that he finally let go and I walk away, spotting Cat walking outside the restroom. I smile up at her and wrap my arm around her waist,in case she couldn't walk
—My god! What happened to your cheek?—. My jaw clenches as I look back at Shane who has already walked back to everyone. That jerk seriously have a problem
—Nothing important, let's go,Cat—. She looks at me suspiciously before nodding and start walking beside me towards her car. Of course I drive, she might be better now but I didn't want to expose us to something tragic so I just offered.
Night arrived and I find myself sitting on my lather couch, just gripping the strings of my guitar, not really paying attention on my movements. But thinking about today. I didn't see Marie and really miss her. There was something about today that told me things were just starting. I know our relationship hasn't been easy since it started but ... today,I feel like it's the beginning of something bad. And it would scare me,normally it would make me feel horrified. But I know that beside Marie,I can go against everything, everybody.
Mary's POV
With a last twist of my wrist,my work is done. It had been a lot since I didn't put that much of effort in a paint, but then again, there's nothing I wouldn't do for her.
Her birthday is in a week, and I almost have the full twenty dollars for the snapback, plus this,I guess it will be alright. I wish I had more money though, that way I would buy her flowers,or even a necklace,I don't know, something beautiful. But my work doesn't give in for more.
At that thought I remember my shift is about to start,so,keeping my paints and stuff,I start to walk down to the cafe. Maybe if I get a job on a bigger restaurant? Or an office? Ja! Good joke,I prefer shooting myself before getting to be closed up inside four walls. I'm a free soul and I don't care how much I suffer economically,I will not work for something that makes me unhappy.
I kick my skateboard up and walk past the doors, being greeted by a wave from Logan. I walk inside the kitchen and put on my apron. After knotting it at the back,I start to wash my hands and serve the two coffees written down on the small papers that can't have any more grease right now.
I walk outside with the two cups or coffee and towards the table I've been assigned
—Good afternoon, sir,ma'am. My name is Mary and I'll be your waitress this noon—. I say as a tape record and leave both the cups beside each of their arms
—Thank you,Mary. We still don't know what to order,we will call you when we are ready—.
—Alright—. I smile down at them and walk back to the bar, taking the dishes to deliver.
Four hours later I find myself leaning against the cash, this place is dead. Then I notice from the corner of my eye another costumer walking through the door and walking to the most unoccupied area.
With a sigh,I walk towards the bar noticing there's no order to deliver so I walk towards the new costumer instead.
I take out my notepad and repeat the same quote
—Good afternoon. My name is Mary and I'll be your costumer this noon. What do you wish to order?—. I take out my pen without looking up and attempt to start writing
—How about you serve me the hot waitress—. My eyes grow wide as I look up with a smirk on my face. I'd recognize that voice anywhere
—Mitchie! What are you doing here?—. I ask with a happy smile on my face, which she immediately returns
—What? Can't I get a coffee?—. I quirk my eyebrow up at her not believing a word she said since this is a really poor coffee and she doesn't like coffee besides.
—Okay,I just wanted to see my girlfriend—. At that I feel my chest crunching my heart. I love when she calls me her girlfriend,it's just so sweet and amazing.
—How did you know I work here?—.
—I have my contacts—. She says with a low serious voice that make my knees bend slightly
—Mitche...—.
—Oookay! Jade told me—. She says with a proud smile on her beautiful and kissable lips.
—Well I'm glad you're here—. I smile and she smiles back. We stay like that for a few moments before reality hits me and I shake my head.
—So,what do you wish to order,my lady?—.
—Your number, please. In a napkin and with a kiss of your lips, please—. I can't help but laugh at the cliche she is being and she follows soon.
—You're so silly—.
—I know—. She winks and leans her arm across the back of the chair
—No,but really. Do you want to order something?—.
—Actually I already ate,so could you please just bring me a tea to wait an hour so I can take my girlfriend to have dinner with me?—. I feel my cheeks getting hot and my heart start to melt at her words. She's taking me to dinner?
—Mitch...you don't have t-—.
—Shut up,I'm the costumer and "el cliente siempre tiene la razón"—. She grins teasingly which I answer with a little scoff and a small smile. I can never say no to her. Less when she speaks in Spanish,it's so sexy
—I'll bring your tea, lady—. We share a last smile before I walk away and enter the kitchen. I serve her tea in a big cup, being sure to warm it a little but not enough for it to burn her lips. And if any case,I will cool them or something *wink*
I walk back to her table and notice her writing down on something
—Here's your order,ma'am—. She glares up at me due to the way I called her;I laugh lowly.
I place the cup beside her and watch as her glare turns into a mischievous glance
—Here you have, your tip—. She grins pushing a napkin across the table. It unfolds and I read a number written down on it. I can't help but laugh
I take it with a shake of my head and keep it in my pocket
—No,seriously,it's my new number. That way you can call me without my dad interrupting us—.
—Thank god—. I breath out. Her dad is seriously the most intimidating person I've ever known,it's so scary.
—Do you have tables to attend?—. She asks propping her head over her hand
—It's dead in here,I was so bored until you arrived—. She smiles and looks around us
—What about you make me company?—. I look around as well noticing there is only a couple sitting at the other side of the place. I shake my head with a smile but start walking backwards
—Let me ask my boss—. She nods and I walk to Logan, who is at the cash. His eyes flutter closing and his head falling every two seconds as sleep starts to take the best of him
—Tired?—. His head shoots up in shock,I guess he thought it was costumer because as soon as he fixes his eyes on me,he shrugs and leans back over the cash
—This days are horrible—. I nod and walk closer
—Logan...since the place is like this, can I take the hour to sit down with my girlfriend?—. He shoots up again, this time an exciting gaze covers his eyes
—Your girlfriend is here?—. He asks. I nod and point with my eyes to the table where my beautiful girl is playing with the spoon inside of her tea
—Yeah of course you can. Are you guys taking dinner in here?—. I am about to say no until I realize I can't really let Mitchie pay for a date;it just feels wrong. And us eating here can bring up a little of joy to Logan so I nod my head
—How about you go ask us and we'll see what she wants—. He nods his head and I take my apron off, placing it on the handstand inside the kitchen. I walk back towards Mitchie and find her taking a selfie with her new phone. Wow an iPhone 5 ,I've always wanted one of those
—Hello beautiful—. I smile down at her surprised eyes since I just caught her
—OMG this is so embarrassing—. I chuckle and lean down, sitting beside her I wrap my arm around her shoulders giving her a peck on the cheek
—You look beautiful—. I whisper pulling her body closer to mine due to a cold chill that just ran inside of me
—Can we take a picture?—. She asks with a girly voice which sounded too cute that I couldn't say no
I leaned my face closer to hers and the first shoot goes off.
Now guys, understand that when a girl tells you to take a picture, she really means to take a hundred.
It was fun though, the first ones were too simple, but that was until we start to make weird faces and then she placed her lips over my cheek softly before an other flash went off,I thought that was all but then another flash went off making me shoot my eyes roughly;that kind of hurt. I watch her smile as she looks down at the screen
—You are so cute—. She whispers showing me the last picture. Her giving me a kiss on the cheek and me making a funny yet weird face. That flash wasn't fair with me
—Delete that OMG—. I say gripping the phone in my hands but she takes it back shaking her head
—No way,it's cute—. I roll my eyes with a small smile. I look around to see Logan talking with the only costumers at the other side of the place.
—Come here—. I hear Mitchie whisper on my ear but before I can fix my eyes on her,the palm of her hand is gripping my cheek, turning me to face her. And soon her soft lips are over mine. I moan at the unexpected of it mixed with the flavour of her flesh. Another flash goes off but I really can't care less about it,her lips have me flying across the clouds and that's all I care about. Another flash goes off and that's when I know she didn't mean to do that because I perfectly can feel all of her senses focused on the kiss.
I hear a quiet noise on the table making me open my eyes enough to see her phone forgotten over the table;I can't help but smile at that. I feel the tip of her tongue brush against my bottom lip making me part my lips letting her in. She's driving me crazy and she knows it.
I moan again and my hips jerk towards her automatically. I grip the side of her jacket while her palm goes to my collarbone and her I the hand grips the back of my head softly.
I lean my head to the side increasing the intensity of the kiss. Only making myself get in more trouble since I know I will not be able to stop.
I hear her moan as I rub my tongue against hers softly, making me shift closer,if that was even possible.
Everything is getting pretty heated when I hear a throat clear behind me. My eyes grow wide and we pull away immediately.
I look up,embarrassment on my eyes while I feel my cheeks getting hotter with each second.
—Well Hello there—.
Sorry for any grammar/spelling mistakes.
