Chapter 16

''Alright people, I planned for at least one dance in the ballroom. We need to put it to use somehow, so were doing this!'' Issac words seem to stun almost everyone they all were petrified with fear.

Sven walked in from the back balcony walking into the state of the thick awkwardness. He sighed in disappointment and started to drag the guys to the girls paring up Luana and Crawford, Issac and Rhythmi and Elaine at the table with devouring herself with food.

He started to make the ball move as he danced with Wendy, to much to everyone's surprise Wendy seem to have a gift in that department. He gave a slyly smirked leaving Kate and Keith purposely to take a glance at each other.

''So.. I guess we should join in right?'' Keith said to break the ice.

''Yeah.. I guess.'' Leaving a huge smile on each other's faces.

It was kind of a problem dealing with the huge height difference between the two, but knowing Kate, she found out a loop hole to the whole situation and a plan that helped everyone out. Keith become flustered when Kate started to carry him in her arms, she gave him a hug as she started to slowly sway, leaving the light peaceful atmosphere.

He should have been uncomfortable of the thing but he would do anything to be this close to her and feel her soft skin. He gave a quite sigh as he hugged her tightly afraid to let go of her, ever. This has to be one of his memories yet, even after graduating school this tops it all after living in a living hell.

Everyone was so glad, so glad that of this was working out. Crawford gave him his little smirk as he have a thumbs up on the situation with Luana giving him a s small smile as she continued to dance with Crawford.

Just like them everyone else couldn't help but smile.

When the dance was over she glanced at everyone but frowned when she saw Sven. She looked back at Keith and said, ''I got to talk to Sven for a sec, ok? I'll be right back, ok Keith?''

''Alright, I'll meet you in the balcony after you're done there's something I want to show you.''

He saw Kate motion Sven to go over the next room, he didn't want to be a bother but he just couldn't shake this feeling.

''Why did you call me here? Shouldn't you be with Keith-''

''Sven I can't do this anymore!'' She bursted out not able to keep in the sentence anymore.

Sven and Keith were both shocked on what she said, she couldn't do what anymore? Keith gripped the curtains his heart pounding, he was afraid that everyone could hear it beating so hard and fast, it was scaring the crap out of him.

''W-what do you mean? Pl-please just ca-lm down Ka-''

''The game with Keith! It's not right for me or him, I shouldn't be doing this just to go home!''

Keith felt his heart being torned out, he go up from behind the door and walked away not wanting to hear more of their conversation. He felt the time running out anyway, with her feeling this the dark empty void seem to reopen but two times bigger.

''Kate I thought you cared for him!'' Sven was mad hearing that she didn't even care about Keith.

Kate started to tear up as she heard the words coming from his mouth,'' No that's not true! I just want him to be happy I don't want my feelings for him to false! You said that I have to make him fall in love with me then I can go but I don't want to!''

''What.. what do you mean?'' Sven asked not knowing what she is saying.

''I'm trying to say that I want out, because I really love him and I promise myself and on my family's grave to never fall in love again.''

Kate wiped off the running make up then met up with Keith in the balcony.

He over looked the whole entire castle and the forest while it snowed lightly but covering every corner with the colorless color, he was able to see the small village that always seems to have all those festivals it was faint but he was able to see it, it probably were Kate came from he thought still thinking about the brunet.

''Sorry I took so long, I had some business to clear up.'' Kate said as she stood right beside him lying against the railing that was made of stone.

''Ah, just look at the stars I remember watching them with my family and Kellyn.. it was funniest thing to do...''

''Do you miss him?'' He interrupted not taking a glance at her.

She looked at him surprise with the new question but she gave a soft smile, ''Of course I do, oh what I would give to see him one last time..''

''I know a way.'' He told still looking down on the forest, ''Follow me.''

Kate followed him to the North Winged where all her troubles began and he taking her to this very place... why? He took her to the room that had the wall mirror, he explain to her what to do but while so he avoided all eye contact.

''Just tell the mirror what you want to see and it will show you.''

She bite her lip, as she whispered, ''Let me see him please.''

The mirror shinned as there appeared Kellyn... laying unconsciousness on the new blanket of snow.

''No Kellyn!'' She cried looking at him with all the cuts and bruises.

He gave her the bracelet he was planning to give her later in the night it was made up of the red jewels and the light rosy pedal's from the Sakura tree then gave a picture of everyone in the castle. ''To remind you of us.'' Kate took the presents but not knowing what he meant.

''Keith..'' She started, ''What are you trying to..'' She trailed off, not wanting to finish the sentence.

He looked at Kate knowing what must be done, ''Go to him... you are free my princess.''

Kate left. She left running with all her sprit. She left everyone behind.

Everyone rushed to the North Wing they stared at him with wide eyes and tears in their eyes.

''Sorry for my mistake. I really screwed up big time didn't I?'' He laughed, without any life inside him anymore.
