AN: I am an amazing procrastinator. Okay it was more like writing constipation. (You know the feeling where you have the inspiration, but you simply cannot make your fingers write a single letter.) I meant to update this last Saturday, because it was my birthday, but we all know the problem now eh? Yeah. I wanted to live up to my name and give y'alls a nice present, like any good Hobbit should, but again, I was delayed by a known reason, and a quite Unexpected Party. (Luckily I wasn't whisked off on an Adventure, or you might've not gotten this chapter until over a year later! Nah, the Adventure was before the party! On which we rode horses...) Haha. SO, ENJOY MY BELATED BIRTHDAY PRESENT FROM ME TO YOU!

Disclaimer: What the heck is even the point of FanFiction! Owning everything?!

"Adriana!" a voice calls. I recognize the voice to be either Elladan or Elrohir. I still can't tell them apart by voice. "Adriana! Are you there?" the voice calls again.

Addi breaks the hug and answers, "Yeah! I'm here!"

"May we come in?" asks the voice.

"Okay, sure!"

The door opens to reveal the twins standing there looking excited. They look surprised to see me, but enter nonetheless, one of them closing the door behind him.

Okay, lighter hair, Elladan. Get that straight.

"We thought we might have to ask Adriana where we might find you." says Elladan with a laugh. "Seems like we didn't have to." he adds.

I narrow my eyes but sit casually on the bed. "So, what's up?" I ask.

"My brother and I-" begins Elrohir, gesturing to Elladan.

"-have decided to join your Quest!" finishes Elladan.

I fall off the bed, butt landing on the ground. I look at them with wide eyes while the three just look at me expectantly.

"What the heck do you want me to do? I ain't Thorin!" They all blink. "I mean not that I mind that you come along with us, I'd like it if you came, but I think the ones you have to talk to are your dad, Thorin, and Gandalf." And besides, what would that do to the story? I quickly run through the story in my mind, and stop at the Mirkwood part. Wait... during Mirkwood, the Dwarves and Bilbo are all messed up mentally, but the Elves aren't. Maybe if we have Elves with us, then we won't stray off the path, and we'll be able to get to Lake-town with no problem at all! And we probably won't have to fight giant spiders, or ride in barrels, or get arrested by the 'King of the Bushy Eyebrows' or 'Platinum Hair'. And Kili probably won't take an arrow to the knee. Ha ha, I certainly hope he doesn't - both metaphorically, and literally.

Suddenly I smile at my amazingly awesome logic. Oh yeah! 'My logic is undeniable!' The three look at me weirdly, like I have an arm coming out of my belly-button. Why the heck did I just quote the evil giant Artificial Intelligence brain from 'I, Robot'?

"Actually, you should come with us! You have to come with us!" I say firmly, standing up and grabbing Elrohir's wrist. They both look shocked, and Elrohir feels kind of limp with surprise. That kind of surprise that just kind of leaves you like a rag doll. I ask Addi to open the door for me, and she does, which I thank her for, and I march determinedly out dragging Elrohir behind me. Elladan follows, and Addi closes the door and comes after us. A few Elves that we pass look at us with surprise, parting like Moses and the Red Sea to let us pass.

Once we get closer to the area where the Dwarves are I begin to yell loudly, "MISTER THORIN OAKENSHIELD! WE HAVE AT LEAST TWO NEW RECRUITS! WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU?! WE NEED TO TALK!" Unfortunately, the yelling makes my throat itchy and I cough, making me much less intimidating. Addi looks at me with amusement.

I march into the pavilion where the Dwarves are camping out, finding them to just be hanging out. Danny is looking at Kili's bow admiringly, while the latter tells him about something. I also see Bilbo talking to Bofur, and I just feel a warmth in my chest like some sort of anger or strong emotion like that (except for affection!). I avoid looking awkward while everybody's staring at me, and Bilbo especially looking a bit jealous. Maybe it's me holding Elrohir's hand? Whatever. Not that it matters anyways.

Clearing my throat authoritatively, I demand hoarsely, "WHERE'S THORIN?!" The Company blinks, and looks at me with confusion, amusement, a bit of disgust, surprise, and wonderment. Kili answers,

"That one place where we had breakfast."

I nod in thanks, and begin dragging Elrohir back down the hall towards 'that one place where we had breakfast.'

We arrive there and find Gandalf, Elrond, and Thorin discussing, what? The Quest, duh. Suddenly, I don't feel so tough. Why not? I am standing in front of pretty powerful people. Well, first, we have a kick-ass wizard, and then the Lord of Rivendell who's been around a lot longer than I have. Uh huh, that's at least three hundred years older, wait no, that's three thousand years. And this guy knows magic too! Oh yeah! Be afraid Abi, be very afraid! And then there's the rightful King Under the Mountain who can probably run me through with his metal pointy weapon called a sword, any freakin' time he wants.

I clear my throat, (again!) and they (again!) turn to look at me expectantly.

"I, uh... Elladan and Elrohir wish to say something." I tell them.

The mentioned Elves look at me a bit disapprovingly, like We thought you were gonna tell them! I look at them and gesture towards the aforementioned powerful people. They roll their eyes, and Elrohir begins,

"My Lord Thorin, my brother and I wish to ask your permission to join you on your Quest to reclaim the Mountain."

The three nearly jolt back with surprise looking at each other. Elrond, is the first to recover. He turns to me, with a suspicious expression, although I daresay that he usually looks like that, (except when he's wearing a suit, sunglasses, and with a short hairdo).

"I trust you did not influence my sons to make this decision?"

"I- no! In fact, they asked me first, and I almost said no, but then I said yes! But other than that, I didn't even know about this until around ten to fifteen minutes ago! Well they didn't really ask, they more told me what they decided."

He turns back to the twins.

"She speaks the truth?"

This time Elladan answers,

"Yes Father, we swear by the Valar themselves."

Gandalf doesn't seem too upset. In fact, he seems kind of amused or happy?! And Thorin looks like a lot of different things at the same time. I gulp. Elrond looks satisfied with his sons' answer.

"And what do you say, Lord Thorin?" he asks the Dwarf in concern of the issue at hand.

"I ask why two Elves," he nearly spits, "wish to come only now to aid my people when you could've aided us a long time ago."

Dude, what the heck is wrong with you? I speak up.

"Okay, first of all, that was Thranduil who didn't do what he needed to. Honestly! The nerve of you! One person is messed up, and you just have to be mean to the entire race! Look, Elladan and Elrohir just want to help you, and you treat them like dirt! Really, dude, just chill."

I give him a scathing glare and just stand there with my arms crossed. He just glares right back. Then Addi nervously clears her throat. We all turn to look at her like wolves spotting a meal, and she laughs nervously, holding her hands up in defense.

"I've been thinking and talking with Danny, and we wanna go too."

Thorin sighs. I'm sure he's thinking now, 'What are we, a traveling fair?'

"Abigail, go get Balin and Ori, and tell them we need four more contracts."

Instantly my face splits into a huge grin, from ear to ear.

"Yuss!" goes Addi, doing a happy dance, causing the twins to chuckle. They bow in Thorin's direction, and say,

"We thank you for allowing us to accompany you on your Quest. We will do our best to help your Company reclaim your home."

They turn away, Addi and I following and giggling hysterically, and as soon as we're out of their eyesight, she and I break into a full sprint towards where the Company is hanging out, bursting in there while laughing like mad clowns.

"Danny! Danny!" I pant. He turns, looking at me with a confused expression. Kili just backs off as I run and stand in front of him, grasping the collar of his shirt and squealing hysterically,

"Vas a venir con nosotros! Vas a venir con nosotros!"

Wait, why the heck did my brain just suddenly switch into Spanish? That rarely happens. Key word being rarely. Anyways, Danny just looks at me like I'm crazy. What, is that the fifth time today someone does that? Apparently so.

"Where am I going with you?" he asks, looking terrified. I have that effect on people.

"La Aventura!" I screech. Everybody winces. Then I turn to Balin and Ori standing there looking bewildered.

"We need four more contracts you guys!" I drawl breathlessly.

"On whose authority?" Balin asks pointedly.

"Thorin's! He said, and I quote, 'Abigail, go get Balin and Ori and tell them we need four more contracts.'" I say, making Thorin sound monotone. Everybody glances at everybody else, while Bofur seems to get it, then lets out a bark of laughter. The rest of the Company takes the hint and cheers simultaneously.

Oh snickersnee. What have I done?

AN: Yes, snickersnee is a real word! Definition from Merriam-Webster dictionary online: obsolete snick or snee to engage in cut-and-thrust fighting, alteration of earlier steake or snye, from Dutch steken of snijden to thrust or cut. First Known Use: circa 1775
So you all understand what that is right? To be honest, I was just looking for a really random word...
School starts on Tuesday by the way. (Holiday on Monday.) Maybe I will stop constipating and settle right back into the writing and schooling routine huh?
I also changed the summary. It's a lot simpler, and goes a bit better with the title.

By the way... Is it normal to want to do a huge overhaul of the first chapters when you're only 14 chapters into the story? I just feel that I'm getting better at writing and the first few chapters are embarrassing me. :/
Also, thanks again for all your support! I'm ecstatic to have all the follows and faves and reviews I do! And... drumroll please... *Mines of Moria drums* Not those! *Normal drums* THREE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED NINETY FOUR VIEWS! WOOOOOOAAAAAAHHH! As much as I love that, I feel like I'm not getting really any feedback or advice (drwatsonn, you are exempt from this. Thanks for reviewing all the time!) for all the views I've gotten. So, if we can get to twenty-seven reviews, (27), I will post a deleted scene... Thirty, and I will write a bonus chapter from Bilbo's POV alrighty? But thanks for the support anyways huh? *MINION HUGS*So yeah! Review and stuff, and keep being awesome people!

Love and Starlightses preciousessssss,
