Well this is it. It has finally ended after nearly four years, it has all come to an end.
When I started this fanfiction I wanted to make a story that took place within my favorite anime and cartoon shows at the time. And as this all stands, it is, in my opinion, just one of those stories that wind up in the category of average. At least I critique it as such without personal bias.
The story started with grammar and punctuation that wasn't well written, but this was when I wasn't proficient enough to write on a grand scale. But I don't regret it, I'm not changing it, and I am proud of it. Where I see many writers of excellent fanfics delete their entire work and write from scratch I feel disappointed that they hated their old work so much they throw it away.
I only deleted one thing during this journey, A spin-off story where Itsuki would be spending more time in the Avatar universe with legend of korra story-lines. I deleted it for three reasons.
The first was because I was working on one that was relevant to the main plot, second it was my worst chapter of all time and had been the most half-assed one I created, and three seeing how I planned on ending the entire thing altogether after it was done I saw no reason to rewrite and fix it.
This scale is something that I will only do once and never attempt again. I have been writing on a separate site with another writer dragomaster312. I have been working with him for years and our works can be found on his home page. Our works helped improve my writing skills over these years and now I can offically say this story is 100% over!
This story-line is my most proud achievement and I will not let any criticism that bashes it change how much progress and imagination I made as a result of it. Not a writer alive will make me think otherwise. I at least am grateful of all of the fans, followers and nameless admirers of my story who appreciated it, and I am glad I managed to have people enjoy my work even if they never say it. In the end this whole experience was worth it.
I am glad I put this story to rest, at last. Nearly 4 four years, but it was worth the effort now.
