Levy blinked in shock as she looked at the three of them. She still couldn't recognize the boys because the masks but in a weird way it made sense. To be fair Levy never paid much mind to other people's sex lives. Honestly, she was always embarrassed to talk about it with other people so she would change the subject whenever it came up. Her brain was still fuzzy from the last drink and her eyebrows creased together in confusion. She really didn't want to think about Mira's sex life but she just didn't understand how it worked. Did they all have sex together? Did they take turns? How the hell did Mira multitask even in the bedroom? Handling one dragon slayer in the bedroom was hard enough, but Mira had one and another powerful mage at her beckon.
Subtly she saw the smaller one, she assumed Freed, lightly tug at Mira's boot. She focused on the mage, kneeling down to him, cooing soft words in his ear. Mira unzipped the sub's mouth so that he could speak with her. The mask looked so tight on him, she couldn't imagine it was very comfortable. Levy was thankful Gajeel wasn't not masks, she was pretty sure if she ever got into one she would have an immediate panic attack. Softly Freed whispered something into Mira's ear.
"I think that would be a good idea, puppy" she said softly "but make sure to ask Gajeel permission before you do. He is Levy's Dom"
"Yes mistress" he said with a smile
Mira quickly unzipped the tight leather mask from the zipper on the back. Levy noticed now that Freed's hair French braided and und tucked under to that it could all fit under the mask. His face with flushed, his hair dripping with sweat, but her smiled at Mira sweetly when she was done. He nodded to the small blue hair mage. They didn't know each very well, but there was mutual respect there because they used similar magic.
"Gajeel, may I please speak with Levy in private" he said with a slight bow "I would like to explain a few things to her, and I believe a sub explaining it might make it a little easier for to understand"
She felt Gajeel tense next to her. He let out a deep rumbling growl, instinctively she grabbed his hand squeezing it to try to grab his attention. Gajeel's eyes flickered over to hers. He let out a grumble but gave a curt nod to Freed. Levy smiled softly to her Dom, kissing his cheek softly. She knew he saw how much she wanted to speak to Freed.
"I promise I will just be over there, you could probably even hear the entire conversation with your hearing"
He grumbled softly but nodded at her to go with him. She turned to Freed, as he motioned towards an empty table farther to the right. He walked quickly to the table sitting at the high stool. Freed joined her as he sat across from her.
"I apologize for the sudden shock" Freed said softly "but Mira has always had a flare for the dramatics"
"I-it's alright" Levy said "I guess I just don't understand what is going on, but that has been happening a lot lately"
"That's pretty typical for a new Sub to be completely honest" the green haired mage said "but Gajeel looks like he has been spending a lot of time with you and explaining things."
"He has" the tiny mage said "it has…been interesting"
"Especially with such dominating dragon slayer, it must be fun" Freed grinned but cleared his throat and his face turned serious "so I suppose I need to explain a bit my relationship with Mira and Laxus"
"Ah…" Levy blushed while looking down "I don't want to push you to explain anything if you don't want too"
"While I appreciate your respect of our privacy" the green haired mage said "the only one who wants to keep this under wraps is Laxus. Mira and I do not really care what the rest of the guild thinks, but Laxus is very conscious about his public image"
"Ah… I see" Levy looked down "I don't understand the dynamics"
"The three of us practice polyamory" Freed said "we are all in a relationship with each other, and we all like to do puppy play. That is when the subs put on masks, listening to their master. Laxus and Mira take turn being the master or mistress"
"Oh… ok" Levy said blushing "but not you? You're not the Dom at all?"
"No, no" Freed said with a chuckle "not my style. I personally enjoy being told what to do"
"A-are you happy?"
"Very" He said with a nod "I must admit it feels good to tell someone. Sometimes it feels like we have to hide our relationship with one another because we don't want to be judged"
"You know fairytail isn't like that"
"Yes" Freed looked down "but not all guilds are as understanding. I suspect that's one of the reason's Gajeel is not open with guild about his dominating tendencies"
"I guess so" Levy mumbled "I don't know what to say"
"I know" he said "but that's why I wanted to talk to you. I also wanted to take the time to say if you need another submissive to talk to or ask question, I am always available"
"are all BDSM relationship so…open?"
"I think it's more accepted in this community" Freed said with a shrug "but to be honest, we are all three in exclusive relationship. It's just with three people instead of two. So I wouldn't call it open necessarily"
"Does that complicate things?"
"To be honest, I don't know" Freed looked down "All I know is that I love them both, and couldn't see myself in another type of relationship"
"Can't that be exhausting for you? Wouldn't it feel like you're constantly going? Do you guys get breaks from each other?"
"Typically, that's why we go out on jobs. To get breaks from one another. Besides we don't all live together quite yet. But I imagine that will be the next step" Freed said with a smile "and it is amazing what you can do for the people you love"
Levy felt herself look at Gajeel. Freed was right. She was much more capable with Gajeel. She felt more empowered with him, more as an equal, rather than someone always lagging behind. He made her feel that way. Which was a bit ironic because half the time she underneath him.
Levy quickly shook her head, trying to get the lewd thoughts away from her. She glanced over to her dragon slayer to see him and Mira chatting. While Mira had her usual smile on, Gajeel's frown and hard eyes told her they were talking about something serious. Guilt stirred in her stomach. They looked like they did in the cellar. She let out a small sigh.
"Thank you Freed for the explanation" she said softly "I know it doesn't mean much, but I appreciate you taking the time to explain it to me"
"Thank you for listening and trying to understand" He said with a smile
Levy nodded to the green haired mage, then quickly walked to her dragon slayer. She lightly grabbed ahold of his hand and kissed his muscular shoulder, letting him know she was back. He looked at her with a serious face but his eyes softened when their gaze met. Levy squeezed his hand lightly. It was all starting to get too much for her. With the alcohol still in her system, the serious talk with freed. She just wanted tonight to be about getting the job done. To help find Tracy, but she felt like her personal lives just kept getting in the way. The gilt tugged at her stomach.
Gajeel's pierced eyebrows scrunched together in concern. He nodded toward Mira, as he led Levy by the hand away from the group. Levy appreciated the fact that freed had taken the time to talk to her. But seeing Gajeel and Mira talk like they had when the job first came to Gajeel's attention reminded her of the whole reason they started this. There were girls missing. Sub's getting hurt. Yet here they were drinking and talking to each other as if none of it happened.
"Should we have never token this Job?" she asked out loud
Hey everybody! So it didn't take a crazy ass long time for me to get back to you, yaay! I hope that the whole poly relationship came across genuine. While I am not personally in a Poly relationship, I do have some friends that are. I hope I did them justice, and didn't make it overtly sexualized like some pieces of fiction can. Anyways, tell me what you think in the comments, I promise in the next chapter it will have a bit more Gajeel and Levy in it. While this chapter seems a little out of left field I can promise that it will make sense in the end. I also may have been a little selfish here to take the time to explain everything because i want more of Bdsm lifestyle to become normalized.
