Chapter 14
The Blood-curdling Scream
Albus pulled away quickly. "That sounded like Lily..." he said and I looked over his shoulder. "I think it was...here comes Rose right now..." He turned around to see Rose running towards the quidditch locker rooms. We both started sprinting but as we reached the doors I held up my hand and Albus stopped. "What?" he asked and I shook my head. "You stupid, arrogant boy. This is the girls lockers. You, have to stay out here." I entered and Albus stayed outside...for barely a minute then yelled, "okay, alright, I'm coming in" and barged through the door. I rolled my eyes and Rose kept shaking the door, yelling at Lily to open up the stall door. Albus told Rose to move, then charged at the door and I laughed at his failed attempt. Lily slowly opened the door and Rose and I gasped.
She was a cat.
Albus stood up and stared at his sister up and down. "Bloody hell!" he exclaimed and I held back a snicker. "You sound like Uncle Ron," I said and Lily and Rose nodded in agreement. "Lil, what happened?" Rose asked and the three of us awaited her answer. Eventually she stuttered out, "It was S-S-Scorpius's friends. They put a p-p-polyjuice p-potion in my pumpkin juice and turned me into this." She gestured to her body and Rose cringed. "I'll go make an antidote." she said and ran off to the potions room to collect the stuff she needed. Albus ran to the girls dorm room and grabbed her a cloak, shoes, a mask and a pair of jeans. Lily changed into them quickly and Albus escorted her to the Room of Requirement where as I marched towards the Slytherin common room to talk to my brother and his pesky friends.
I banged on the Slytherin wall next to the picture, not wanting to break their only door way. "Scorpius Malfoy you open the door this instant!" I yelled and all noise from inside the common room was quieted down. Scorpius opened the common room door slightly and peeked his head out. "Yes?" he asked and I rolled my eyes. "I need to speak with your...friends." I sneered the last word in an effort to show that I didn't care for them. Scorpius rolled his eyes. "And why would you want to do that?" he asked ad I stomped my foot. "You know bloody well why I want to speak with them." I said and he shook his head. I rolled my eyes and pulled the door open even more and pushed past him, causing him to fall. I walked right over him and stomped into the common room. All eyes were on me as i entered in my Gryffindor robes and suddenly, a yell of cries to leave sounded through the common room. I rolled my eyes and shut them all up. "I've got important business, so all of you shut up." They all quieted down and looked at me. "I'm looking for Brainless and Bone head, or as I like to call them, tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber." Fingers pointed to two boys on the couch, laughing. This ticked me off. Nobody messes with my family and gets away with it. I picked them up by the front of their shirts and let me say one thing. They weigh a lot.
I dropped them quickly. "What the bloody hell did you two do to Lily Potter?!" I exclaimed and the Slytherin house gasped.
Everybody knew not to mess with the Potter kids. Everybody knew that no matter what I would have their backs. And same went for Rose and Hugo.
The two boys shared a terrified look then both smirked at me. "Oh, did you like our makeover? We thought it made her look... very cat like." I growled.
"Why the hell would you do that?!"
"She ditched us at the ball."
" 'Cuz she's a smart girl and knows you two are goddamned idiots."
They grimaced and looked at me. "Well, isn't Rose Weasley some sort of Potions genius? Tell her to go ake an antidote." Tweedle dumb said.
I socked his face and kicked the other. "I could do much worse, but right now, I have to get back to my friends." I stormed out of the Slytherin common room and went back to the room of requirement. Abus let me in and I noticed that Lily was looking slightly better.
I hugged her tightly. "Did you beat them up?" she asked timidly. "Are they mad at me?"
"No and no. I'm not that violent, Lil. You should know that by now." She nodded.
Albus pulled me into a hug and smelled my hair. That boy was just plain crazy. And suddenly, James walked in and saw us. He looked hurt. I mean, I told him Al and I were dating, but why did he give me such a hurt expression? Why did he have to do this to me?
