"You guys went on a what?!" Parker said through the phone.
"Yes, it wasn't a big deal, we just went to see a movie. That's it, nothing else happened." Cameron said
"What do you mean it isn't a big deal? Cam, That was your first date. With the most popular guy at school at that."
Cameron blushed. She was lucky to have gone on a date with Mark, then again Parker was right, he was the most popular guy at school. Why did he want to go on a date with her?
"Parker, your a guy, why do you think he wanted to go on a date with me in the first place? Do you think he's trying to just sleep with me or something?" she asked.
"I don't think so. Cam, when are you going to get that your hot! Any guy would want you to be their girlfriend." he said
Cameron rolled her eyes
"Yeah, yeah." she said
"By the way, you still haven't told me about this guy your seeing." Cameron said
Parker sighed
"Girl, it's complicated." he said
"Complicated?" she asked
"Well, he doesn't exactly want me to say to much about him because, well, he isn't out yet." he said
"He's still in the closet." she asked very intrigued
"You can say that. He actually didn't know he was gay at first. But any guy associated with me is bound to question their sexuality." Parker said cockily
Cameron laughed. "Oh sure, Parker, your to hot to handle." she said
"Damn right." he said
There was a knock on Cameron's door.
"Can we come in, honey." said the female voice from the other side of the door.
"Parker, I'll talk to you later, my parents want to talk to me." She said
"Okay girl, talk to you later." He said and hung up
"Come on in." Cameron said
Cameron's parents walked into her room.
"So Cameron, who was that boy who picked you up yesterday?" her mother asked
"That was my friend, Mark. I have been tutoring him for the past month." Cameron said.
"Oh, Okay." Her mom said nodding her head.
"Are you guys, um, together?" she asked
"No, mom. We're just friends. Cameron said
"Well, the reason we are asking, Cameron is because there is a lovely young man we would like you to meet." Her father said
"You remember Mr. Kingsbury, right? His son is your age and said he would be delighted to meet you." her mother said
Is her parents trying to hook her up with somebody? She remembered when her parents through a business party and introduced her to Mr. and Mrs. Kingsbury. They where the owners of some company, not that she really cared anyway. All those people at the party where just some stuck up rich folks.
"I don't know, I'm not really interested." Cameron said
"Come on, Cameron." Her mother said sitting down next to her on the bed.
"Trust me, he's a charming, handsome man. We already invited him and his parents over for dinner next Tuesday. Just give him a chance, darling. You haven't even met him yet." Her mother said
Cameron sighed. She just have to meet him. Who knows maybe he wont be that bad.
"Okay. I'll meet him." Cameron said
Her mother hugged her tightly.
"Thank you, Dear." She said and stood up.
"Remember, Tuesday. Make sure you're here." her Father said as him and his wife left the room.
