100 years after the Originals were first turned:
Ariana & Rebekah:
Ariana looked around the large bedroom in awe. She couldn't believe that she had actually accompanied Lord Elijah back to his family's manor near the edge of town but something had made her comply. Something about that man made her want to so anything he asked of her and not have to be forced like she was used to. Everything in the extravagant bedroom seemed to be dripping in money as she looked around the room.
"Who the bloody hell are you?" An unfamiliar female with a British accent asked in a demand from the door and Ariana turned around to see a stunning blonde woman in the doorway with her arms crossed over her chest. Ariana's instantly dropped her gaze to her feet when she recognised the beautiful girl as Lady Rebekah, the younger sister that had moved into the village.
"I'm sorry, my lady. Lord Elijah asked me to wait in here." She explained softly while keeping her eyes down case and Rebekah straightened up at the mention of her older brother.
"I see. What is your name?" Rebekah asked her curiously as she stepped forward and wondered why Elijah had brought this commoner into their home.
"My name is Ariana, my lady."
"Hmm. Well, please wait here while I ask Elijah what is going on. Don't touch anything, understand?" Rebekah asked sternly as she looked at the auburn haired girl in front of her and the girl nodded her head up and down hastily. Rebekah looked the young woman over slowly before nodding once and leaving her alone in the room to go and find Elijah.
"Elijah! Why is there a stranger in the upstairs guest bedroom?!" Rebekah shouted at her older brother as she thundered down the stairs and Elijah sighed in exasperation before turning around to face her with a grim smile.
"Ariana is going to be staying with us for a while, Rebekah." He explained calmly as though having a strange in their home was an everyday occurrence.
"Why?" she whined to him with scowl on her lips and Elijah sighed again at her childish behaviour but stepped forward anyway.
"Because I killed her father." he stated matter-of-factly as he fixed his sleeve cuff and Rebekah blinked in surprise at her older brother's words.
"… You killed somebody?"
"He didn't deserve to live." Elijah responded to her question as he looked her straight in the eye and she pursed her lips together in thought. If Elijah had killed someone then it was probably for the best since he was so against killing humans because of his moral compass. Rebekah kept her face blank as she thought back to the meek looking girl she had found in the room upstairs and then finally nodded her head at her older brother in understanding.
