Chapter 13 – The Magical Ball
Normal POV
"So, to commemorate the relationship between our worlds, you want to held a dance party for us…" concluded Jou-sama when she was talking with Koko-sama, the King of the Wizard World in Majokai, at her castle, "and both witches and wizards can go to the party."
"That's right," the brunette King nodded, "but as my castle isn't as big as yours, I think it will be better if we held it here, in your castle."
"I see…" Jou-sama thought for a few minutes before she asked, "Then, when will we held it?
"Well, that's why I come here to tell you about my plan. I think it's better if we think about the time together, because honestly, I don't have idea about when we should held it."
"Then, how if we held it tomorrow?" Jou-sama suggested, "There will be the smilling moon tomorrow."
"Do you have a plan to invite them? Those witch apprentices?" asked the King, "Well, I think they deserve it, as they were the one who helped us to rebuild our relationship, right?"
"Yes," admitted Jou-sama, "As now they become the Majo Senshi, I think the dance party will be a good event for them to be relax."
"They become so busy because of those demons, right?"
"You're right, and I just don't want to see them worry to much, just because of those demons who want to steal their Rose Crystals," she stated, "I hope you and your son don't mind if I invite them, along with…"
"Ah, I know about that boy," the King smiled, "Don't worry, Jou-sama. To be honest, I and Akatsuki think that he's a kind boy. Moreover, he's the reincarnation of Anthony, a special person for the wizard world."
"I know you'll understand. I just don't want to see a war between two lovers in our ball."
"You won't ever see it, Jou-sama. I promise, it won't ever happen," persuaded the King, "Akatsuki knows that it's better if Celine always be with Anthony."
"Well then, as we've already decide it, I'll send the invitations to them – Anthony and the Majo Senshi," said Jou-sama who then made six invitations appeared in her hands and threw all of those away, out from the witch world.
Doremi's POV
This morning, as usual, I woke up after got another nightmare about me becoming the Dark Celine, but this time, I found something on my desk.
'An envelope? Is it a letter?' I thought, then I took and opened it, 'Eh? An invitation?'
I read the invitation. It was Jou-sama and Koko-sama who invited me and the others to a ball in Majokai.
"Eh? So they want to held a ball to commemorate the relationship between their worlds…" I said to myself, "It should be great. I'm so sure that it will be a great ball, as both witches and wizards will be there to celebrate their relationship."
I put the invitation back into its envelope and placed it into my school bag, "However, I think I should prepare myself right now, or else I'll be late to school."
I walked out from my room to brush my teeth, then walked back there to change my clothes and to take my school bag. At last, I walked into the dining room and ate my breakfast with my family.
When I heard that the others called my name from my house's gate, I immediately walked out from my house and went to school with them. On the way to school, we talked about the ball which would held in Majokai tonight.
"I think it's a rare time that all wizards can go to the witch world to participate in the ball," I commented, "Interesting."
"Don't say that you say it just because there will be Akatsuki-kun in the ball…" said Aiko while she gazed at me.
"Hey! Of course not, Ai-chan. It's not because of him," I shook of my head, "However, you know that I won't ever try to get his attention anymore. I just assume him as my friend."
"Whatever…" she sighed.
"By the way, I can't believe that he's the prince of the wizard world," stated Kotake, "Firstly, I thought that he was a son of yakuza or something like that."
"Well, that's him, Kotake," I replied, "He's their prince, and soon, he'll be their King."
"Fortunately, I can go to the ball with you. It's just like 'dreams come true' for me," commented him, remembered that he'd ever had a dream about the ball in Silver Kingdom, when he was Anthony and I was Celine, "To be honest, I want to know how it feels when I dance with you."
"Me too. That will be wonderful."
"But then, how about me and the others? I mean, you know that I, Ai-chan and Momo-chan still don't have a couple, so… who's the one that will dance with us three?" asked Onpu.
"Don't you want to dance with Tooru-kun?" I asked her back, "You also know that he's a good dancer, don't you?"
"Well, yeah… but I just… I just appreciate him, and not more. I don't have any interest towards him."
"Anou…" Momoko spoke out, "About the ball tonight, actually… I wanted to come there, but I can't go there tonight."
"Eh? But why?" I asked.
"Well, Beth and Sachiko want to visit my house tonight, so I can't go to the ball with you all."
"Hey, so they'll come here from America just to visit you here? Well, it doesn't help. You must be missing them so much, right?"
"Yes," she smiled, "and I'm so happy that finally, they can visit me here."
"Then, how about Mary? Doesn't she want to come here with them?"
"Uh, Beth said to me that Mary was so busy at her school, as that school would held a big event soon, so she couldn't come here with them."
"I see," I nodded, "Then, how about you both, Ai-chan, Onpu-chan? Do you have another plan for tonight which prevents you to go to the ball? I mean, it's useless for us to talk about the ball while in fact it was just me and Kotake who can come there tonight."
"Don't worry, Doremi-chan. I don't have any job for tonight, so I can come to the ball," Onpu smiled, "Moreover, I want to see you both dance."
"Well, I also don't have another plan for tonight, so… maybe I can come to the ball, but…" Aiko looked at her own school uniform which she wore today and added, "I don't think that I have a luxurious gown that I can wear in the ball…"
"Ah! Oh yeah, the gown…" I shouted and sighed, "We should wear a gown in a ball, while in fact I don't have any gown."
"What should we do now?" asked me and Aiko at the same time.
"Hmm…" Onpu thought, "I can lend you some gowns, though, it must be tough for us to walk in those gowns from our house to Maho-dou – we just can go to the witch world through Maho-dou."
"Mou, what a tough problem…"
"Don't worry, your Senshi Tap can solve your problem," replied a familiar voice from behind. We then turned around and realized that Usagi and her friends were there, along with Luna and Artemis, and the one who replied my complain was Luna, the black cat from the moon.
"Ah, you all," I greeted them, "Do you all get the invitation for a ball in the witch world tonight? You know, as you all now become part of us, I think it doesn't wrong for Jou-sama to invite you all there."
"We get it, but we can't go there tonight, because all of our family want to come here," replied Usagi.
"Moreover, Usagi-chan doesn't want to go to a ball if she can't dance with her 'Mamo-chan' there," teased Rei.
"R-Rei-chan!" Usagi blushed, "That's not my main reason!"
"Okay, I trust you, Usagi-chan," I giggled, "and actually, it's okay if all of you can't come there tonight. Both Momo-chan and Hazuki-chan also can't come there."
"Wait. Hazuki-chan?" Aiko was confused, "Doremi-chan, when did you ask Hazuki-chan about this ball? We just found the invitation this morning and…"
"I called her before I ate my breakfast this morning," I explained, "and she said that she couldn't come because there would be an important private meeting between her family and Yada-kun's family."
"Doremi-chan, you mean they…" Onpu said in amazement, "Does it mean that they want to be engaged?"
"Maybe," I guessed, "Hazuki-chan didn't explain about the meeting more details, but I think, they want to talk about something important and serious about their relationship."
I then turned my attention back to Luna, "Then, Luna, how can you say that our Senshi Tap can help us solve our problem with the gowns? How can it help us?"
"Well, if you hold your Magic Crystal at your Senshi Tap while you close your eyes and imagine yourself wear a gown, that gown will appear for real," explained the black cat, "In the other words, you'll wear the gown in your imagination for real."
"Oh…"
"Even, you can wear the same gown which Celine usually wore long time ago."
"Uh, I…" I suddenly remembered about my last nightmare, "I think I just need a regular gown. You know, it doesn't matter if I wear Celine's gown or not. I think I just need to be myself."
"Oh, okay," Luna thought for a few minutes before she asked, "Then, how about the Rose Crystal Catcher? Does Rophelia still chase after you and your friends?"
"No, she doesn't attack us anymore. This time, it was Charmillion who attacked me and Kotake last Saturday," I answered.
"Charmillion?" Aiko tilted her head, "Sounds like 'Chameleon' for me."
"Even so, we should beware of him, as he's the leader of the Rose Crystal Catcher," I warned, "He can do anything to get what he wants."
"I think it's just you who needs to be careful with him the most," Kotake added, "It's so obvious that he's obsessed with you."
"Okay, I know it," I sighed, "By the way, Luna, do you know anything about Charmillion? It seems like, his obsession with Celine is so deep… even he kissed my right hand in our first meeting…"
"Our first battle with him," corrected Kotake.
"Whatever."
"Well, many people said that Charmillion often tried to get Celine's attention, even though it was pretty obvious that Celine didn't have any interest with any boys before she met Anthony at the first time," Luna explained, "Unfortunately, for Celine, because of that, some people in the Silver Kingdom often blamed her for the trouble that Charmillion created there, and that's why, she always assumed that she didn't deserve to become the princess like Serenity, her adoptive sister."
"Poor Celine. I can't believe that her life wasn't too happy because of Charmillion…" I commented, "She must be very sad."
"Not really, because the other Legendary Majo Senshi were always beside her," Luna shook of her head, "Just like Serenity and all of the Inner Planets' princesses."
"I see," I smiled, "Sometimes, it happened with me too, when something happened and makes me down, all of my best friends always be here, by my side, to give me a support, and it's enough to bring back my happiness."
"Actually, it happened with all of us, so often," added Aiko, "We support each other, and that's what friends are for."
"Then, Luna, what else that you know about Charmillion beside that?"
"Hmm, I think I recalled that Celine and Serenity have ever talked about him who often tried to sneak into Celine's room at night."
"Wh-What did you say? He often did it?!" I said in disbelief, "Well, don't say that he wanted to do something bad there…"
"Of course, it's obviously obvious that he had obsession towards Celine, and he should be targeting her because he wants to do something to her… He wants to rape her, and…" Kotake immediately replied while he looked at me with a serious face, "As you're her present life, he…"
"Ah! I don't want to be raped by him!" I shouted, imagined that maybe Charmillion wanted to do that to me, "What a perverted demon he is!"
"Hey, don't worry, Doremi. I promise, I'll prevent it to be happened," said Kotake while he patted my shoulders to make me calm, "If he wants to do it with you, he should kill me first."
"Oh, okay," I unsurely said, as in my last nightmare which I got last night, I, as the Dark Celine, let Charmillion kissed my lips passionately before he did something further to me that I couldn't imagine because of how bad that thing was, "I hope you can prevent him to do that thing to me."
"You can trust me," replied Kotake confidently, "He won't ever touch you."
He noticed that I still thought about that bad things, so he whispered, "Did you have another nightmare last night?"
"Uh-huh," I replied, "and this time, I dreamed that Charmillion kissed me passionately while I became Dark Celine."
"I see. That's why, you're afraid if he really wants to do that."
"Of course, I am."
"What are you whispering about?" asked Onpu while she noticed that I and Kotake whispered at each other, "It looks like, you both are talking about something serious."
"No, it's not an important thing, Onpu-chan," I assured her, "We just talk about that Charmillion, and not more than it. Right, Kotake?"
"Oh yeah, I just want to persuade Doremi that she doesn't need to be afraid just because of that dark prince," added Kotake, "because I'll always protect her from him."
"Ah, of course both of you talk about it," Onpu smiled, "I shouldn't ask you both about it. It's so obvious that you both talk about him."
Just then, we arrived at school.
Normal POV
"So, they'll come to a ball in that witch world tonight…" stated Charmillion while he watched all of the Majo Senshi's activities from his Dark Royal Pearl, "Well, I guess I should grab an 'invitation' to go there."
He then casted a spell to the Dark Royal Pearl in front of him, "Oh, my great Dark Royal Pearl, let me take the control of the smiling moon tonight… Allow me to use the shine of the smiling moon, and give me access to the witch world… to that ball, and let my power enter the castle, so that I can get those Rose Crystals and bring all of them here."
He sighed, "Wow, I can't believe that I can be so tired like this after cast that spell."
"What spell, young master?" Piceshia asked while she walked into Charmillion's room, "Ah, before you complain about my presence here, I just want to say that you forget to close the door, so I hear what you say when I walk outside and then feel curious about what you mean and…"
"You come into here without my permission."
"I'm sorry, young master, but I just want to remind you that our target isn't only Celine, but also Anthony and the other Majo Senshi," reminded Piceshia, "We should take over all of their Rose Crystals."
"Of course I remember it, Piceshia. I'm the boss here," replied the Dark Prince, "and I'm so sure that I can get all of those Rose Crystals in that ball."
Charmillion then looked at his Dark Royal Pearl once again before he added, "That's why I cast a spell which will allow me to do anything in the witch world, and once I use my power there, they won't ever notice that slowly, but sure, those Rose Crystals will be mine."
"I'm happy to hear that," said Piceshia, "Although I also feel sad that I never have chance to steal it from them…"
"Oh, come on, Piceshia. It couldn't help. I really miss Celine so much and…"
"In that case, maybe I should make an agreement with you," cut Piceshia, "Young master, I'll let you do anything you want. It's okay if you don't want to give me any chance to fight with them, but it's just if you don't forget to try to get all of the Rose Crystals, not just Celine's"
"Agree," he immediately replied, "I'm so sure that I won't ever forget about it."
"Deal," ended Piceshia with her signature smirk. She thought, 'Just do what you want, Charmillion, because I know that at the end, you'll just follow your obsession with her and destroy your own promise, as usual, and it will bring me to that chance… when I can take them under my control and take over their Rose Crystals, I'll show you the best demon in the Rose Crystal Catcher, and it's not the leader… not you, Charmillion, because that member is myself.'
Aiko's POV
"Okay, now we wear these gowns and come here just to find out that most of the witches here wear their usual clothes…"
That was what Doremi said when we arrived at the castle to attend the ball there. Almost all of the witches there didn't wear gowns.
"Well, it couldn't help. They're the witches after all, and… they must be thinking that only the Queen of the Witch World who can wear a gown," I commented, "Moreover, I think this ball is the first ball that held here."
"By the way, these tiara which we wear now reminds me with the crown which Rophelia used to steal my Rose Crystal in the audition several days ago," stated Onpu while she looked at a tiara on her head, which there was her Magic Crystal as its ornament – I and Doremi used the identical tiara as well, "Well, even though it's my Magic Crystal which becomes the ornament, it's a crystal after all."
"Doremi, Aiko, Onpu, Kotake-kun!" greeted Hana-chan who then walked to us, "I'm glad that you can come here."
"We're also glad to meet you here, Hana-chan," replied Doremi, "By the way, you looks so pretty with that gown."
We looked at her, who wore a beautiful white gown and a small tiara on her head. She smiled, "It's Jou-sama who gives this gown to me for tonight."
"I see. She really has a great taste for this."
"No wonder, because she's the Queen of the Witch World," I sighed, "As she's the only one witch who wear gown in her daily performance, she has experience."
Just a few minutes after I said it, we heard a romantic music started to play.
"Well, I guess it's time for us to dance," Kotake immediately said, then looked at Doremi's face, "Let's we dance."
"Oh… okay," replied Doremi. She then held Kotake's left hand with her right hand while her left hand held his right shoulder. Kotake placed his right hand on Doremi's hips. They started to dance.
"And there they go," I stated, "Even though we just recently arrive here…"
"It's okay, Ai-chan," commented Onpu, "Moreover, the song is just too fit for them. We couldn't help."
"I'm glad to see them dance here," stated Hana-chan while she widened her grin, "They just like a princess and her prince in a fairy tale."
"Well, maybe Celine and Anthony were like this too long time ago…" I guessed.
"Of course, as they were them in the past," replied Onpu. She paused before added, "but speaking of them, it makes me wonder, why does Doremi-chan let her hair down instead of tie it like Usagi's – or Celine's?"
I looked at Doremi's long hair before spoke out my opinion, "Maybe she just wants to be different, as she always ties her hair before."
"But doesn't she want to be like Celine?"
"I don't know," I shrugged, "Nobody can guess someone's thought."
"Even so, Doremi looks so beautiful tonight," commented Hana-chan, "Her gown and her tiara are so perfect on her."
She then asked, "By the way, Aiko, Onpu, do you have plan to dance with someone here?"
"Eh? Me? Dance?" I pointed at myself, "Well, I'm not sure that I can dance here…"
"Ah, long time no see, Ai-chan," greeted someone who came to us with three other familiar people. We looked at them and revealed that they were the FLAT 4, and the one who greeted me was Leon.
"Leon-kun," I replied, "It's been a long time since our last meeting when the cursed of the witch frog was erased…"
I looked at him from top-to-toe and added, "and it's the first time for me too see you in a formal clothes."
Onpu and Hana-chan also looked at the FLAT 4's clothes. All of them wore white formal shirt in a coat and a pair of trousers. They used the same style for the clothes, and the noticeable difference between their clothes was the color of the coat and the pair of trousers. Leon used green while Fujio used purple, Akatsuki used black and Tooru used red.
"Well, I think it's also the first time I see you wear a gown, Ai-chan," commented him back, "but to be honest, you look more beautiful in that gown."
"Uh, thanks," I blushed. I didn't know why, but after I heard his comment, I felt so happy.
"By the way, I wanna dance right now, but I don't know who's the one whom should I ask to dance with me, so… um, do you wanna dance with me?" asked Leon.
"Oh, well…" I thought for a few minutes before answered, "I just want to warn you that I can't dance well."
"It's okay, Ai-chan. I don't mind to dance with you," Leon held out his right hand to me. We then started moving, followed the rhythm of the song.
As we were dancing, Leon asked, "Why don't Hazuki-chan and Momo-chan come here with you four? They should be receiving the invitations as well, right?"
"Yeah, but they have their own bustle, so they can't come here tonight," I said.
I then saw that Onpu started to dance with Tooru, so did with Hana-chan and Akatsuki – it seemed like Hana-chan asked Akatsuki to teach her dance. I also saw that Fujio joined with Jou-sama and Koko-sama to talk about something.
Minutes later, I and Leon stopped to dance. Leon said to me that he wanted to go to the toilet, so I let him go.
Just about five minutes after he left the hall where the ball was held, he walked back into the hall. Strangely, I felt something different from him after he came back from the toilet.
"Leon-kun, what's up? Is there something wrong?" I asked.
"Well, I want to talk with you about something, but I think we should talk about it outside. Can we walk out from here?"
"Sure, we can," I started to walk, "Let's we talk outside."
After we walked out from the hall, I asked Leon about the things that he wanted to talk with me, but then I realized that the one who wanted to talk with me outside the hall wasn't Leon. He was Charmillion.
It turned out that Charmillion attacked Leon when he wanted to walk back into the hall, then he disguised as Leon to trap me, but when I realized all of it, it was too late…
He got my Rose Crystal.
Normal POV
"Okay, I get one Rose Crystal," said Charmillion after he successfully attacked Aiko and took out her Rose Crystal from her chest, "Then I'll take those three remaining Rose Crystals inside this hall."
"I know it! You aren't Leon-kun!" shouted Tooru who apparently saw what Charmillion did to Aiko just a few minutes ago, "You must be one of those demons, right?"
Apparently, Onpu and Tooru also felt something wrong with Leon after he went to the toilet, so when Aiko and Leon walked out from the hall, Onpu commanded Tooru to follow them out from the hall.
"Oh, then now you know about my plan," teased Charmillion, "but I think it's a wrong move for you to follow me here, because it will make my plan become smoother. As you know about my plan…"
"Huh?"
Charmillion didn't continue his words. He quickly walked to Tooru and hit his scruff, "It's time for me to change my disguise."
He then disguised as Tooru and walked into the hall. This time, he successfully took over Onpu's Rose Crystal with the same way that he did with Aiko.
"Now, for sure," said him, still disguised as Tooru, "I'll get Celine's Rose Crystal."
He came over Doremi and Kotake, which now were talking about something. He said, "Doremi-chan, can you walk out from here with me? Ai-chan and Onpu-chan ask me to call you and bring you to them outside, because there's something that they want to talk with you, so…"
"Are you sure that they don't call me with her?" cut Kotake, "Because you seem so strange right now, Tooru."
"Tooru-kun, do you know what's the thing that they want to talk with me?" asked Doremi, "and why don't they call Kotake?"
"Well, I think they want to talk with you about some girly things."
"Hmm…" Doremi thought for a minute before she finally said, "Okay, I'll talk with them."
She started to walk, but before she could reach the hall's main door, Kotake interrupted, "I don't think that you should walk out from here too, Tooru. Don't follow Doremi!"
"Are you kidding? Kotake, it's Onpu-chan who ask me to call Doremi-chan. I should go there with her."
"I don't think so," Kotake shook of his head, "If they really want to talk about some girly things, then you don't need to walk out from here."
"But…"
"Are you a sissy?" asked Kotake, sarcastically, "Or… do you have a plan to do something bad?"
"Kotake…" Doremi couldn't believe with what her boyfriend said, "What do you mean? Tooru-kun is our friend."
"I know it, but I can feel that he isn't Tooru," said Kotake while he looked at the boy in front of him sharply, "because I noticed something wrong here."
He paused for a few minutes before added, "Well, firstly I felt it from Leon, who walked into this hall and walked out from here again with Senoo, and then you did the same thing with what Leon did – and you did it with Segawa."
Doremi then realized something, "Tooru-kun, if Ai-chan and Onpu-chan really want to talk with me, then why don't they call me by themselves? Just what happened with them so that they can't walk back into here? And where's Leon-kun?"
"Uh, they…"
"You aren't Tooru," concluded Kotake, "and you just need to admit it, Charmillion."
"Eh? Kotake, from where do you…"
"I see that you used Senoo and Segawa's Rose Crystals as the pins on your coat," Kotake pointed at a blue Rose pin and a purple Rose pin on the red coat in front of him, cut what Doremi said, "and I remember that Tooru didn't use those pins."
"Ah, you're right!"
"It's too bad that you can find out my plan, Anthony," Charmillion revealed himself, "Just right before I can get Celine's Rose Crystal."
"I told you her present name isn't Celine!" shouted Kotake who immediately changed into White Tuxedo Mask, "and I won't ever let you go with those Rose Crystals."
He then fought Charmillion with Doremi, who had transformed into the Moon Majo Senshi. The couple fought Charmillion while tried to take Aiko and Onpu's Rose Crystals from him.
Without they knew, Hana ran out from the castle. She then rode her broom to the door which connected Majokai and Ningenkai at Maho-dou. Meanwhile, Hazuki and Momoko were there, as their own meeting at their own house were finished.
Both of them were there to find out what happened in the ball, as they were so curious about it, but when they saw Hana came from the door in Maho-dou, they were surprised.
"Hana-chan, what happened?" asked Hazuki, "Why do you ride your broom when you wear a gown? Is there something serious that happen in the ball?"
"Charmillion sneaks into the ball and gets Aiko and Onpu's Rose Crystals!" reported Hana, "and now, Doremi and Kotake-kun fight him to get those Rose Crystals back from him."
"Charmillion?"
"He's the leader of the Rose Crystal Catcher," explained Momoko, as she'd already heard about the dark prince from Doremi, "I think we should help the others to fight him."
Hazuki nodded, then they transformed and went to the castle with Hana.
Hazuki's transformation sequence: She hold her Senshi Tap with both of her hands and put it on her chest while she closed her eyes. She then opened her eyes and made her Senshi Tap change to be orange lights which covered both of her arms. She then swung both of her hands around to the opposite direction to cover her body with a long piece of orange bright ribbon. Hazuki then moved both of her hands to the both side of her body and made her gloves appeared, and when the bright ribbon was gone, her costume appeared, which was a leotards with orange skirt with a piece of short pale orange ribbon behind it and orange collar with pale orange bow ties, along with her high heels, a necklace with orange ribbon and yellow heart shaped pendant, a pair of yellow heart shaped earrings and a tiara. Her crystal was on her golden tiara.
Momoko's transformation sequence: She hold her Senshi Tap with her right hand and raised it to the sky, made it change to be a yellow bright light which covered all parts of her body, and when the bright light disappeared, it revealed her gloves, her costume which was a leotards with yellow skirt with a piece of short bright green ribbon behind it and yellow collar with bright green bow ties, along with her boots, a necklace with yellow ribbon and yellow star shaped pendant, a pair of yellow star shaped earrings and a tiara. Her crystal was on her golden tiara.
"Witchi Senshi Hazukichii!"
"Witchi Senshi Momokochii!"
Hazuki's POV
When I, Momoko and Hana-chan arrived at the castle, we noticed that both Doremi and Kotake fell onto the floor, and Charmillion was walking to Doremi, trying to get her Rose Crystal, but before he even could touch her, I attacked him, "Magical Lovely Ring!"
Charmillion turned around to face me and Momoko, "Oh, so you both also want me to take your Rose Crystals out from you, huh?"
"No, Charmillion. We just want to take back the Rose Crystals that you've already get," I said.
"Yeah, and you just need to give up with us," added Momoko who then launched her attacks to Charmillion, "Supreme Lightning Bullet!"
