So I'm back! I'm not exactly pleased with this chapter but I guess it has enough humor and backstory to make it work. I dunno either way its here.

Chapter 12:Fill In The Blanks

Roxas woke up to find out that he was back in his hotel room and that he slept all the way through Sunday morning, which meant his whole vacation was lost. On top of that, the reason why he was woken up was because Axel kept poking him. Roxas was about to smack the crap out of him but he noticed nervous look on Axel's face. That means nothing good. Fuck. "Axel, what happened?"

Axel handed Roxas his phone. "Um… you should really call Hayner. He seems extremely pissed." Roxas started looking through his phone and noticed several angry texts from Hayner demanding that Roxas call him. while Roxas wasn't sure why Hayner was so upset, he decided to humor him and called him.

After about 2.5 seconds Roxas was greeted with a loud, "took you long enough, Asshole!" Roxas quickly recoiled like he was slapped; Axel snickering a little in the background. Roxas slowly recovered and responded. "Hayner what the hell are you freaking out about?"

"I'm freaking out about my best friend almost dying! In a cemetery, too!" Roxas' body went absolutely rigid in an instant. How the hell did he know?! Axel noticed his change in postured and mouthed are you ok? Roxas just shook his head and answered Hayner. "Hay I have no idea what you're tal-"

"Shut up Roxas. I know what happened from the cemetery to Xemnas. We have a lot to talk about! I booked you an early flight home. You have two hours to get on the flight. Get. There. NOW!" A loud click left Roxas sitting there in shock for a few seconds. After his brain processed the threat in Hayner's words, Roxas moved like a bat out of hell packing his stuff. He was out the door before Axel could process what was happening and ask. "Whoa what happened and why are we leaving like the hotel is on fire?"

"Somehow Hayner knows everything that happened over the last couple days and he's royally pissed. He even booked us both a flight home and everything." It was definitely one of those moments where Roxas didn't argue. As they made their way to the airport, Axel sent Xemnas a quick text. Hey there's a small chance that Roxas' friend could be a seer and he's probably going to tell Roxas. What should I do?

Leave it be. We have Hayner covered. It's his choice if he wants to tell his best friend. Just let it play out.

Needless to say Axel was shocked. Not only did they know about another seer, they knew it was Hayner and they apparently had a plan in place. Axel was lost in a situation like this. he figured he would just along for the ride like he was told. He was thankful that Roxas was too busy to notice the stern look on his face.

The flight was boring at best. Axel slept most of the time while Roxas only slept a couple hours. Axel's tall frame barely fit his seat so his head ended up falling onto Roxas' shoulder. When Roxas woke up and notice it he asked a flight attendant for a pillow. While he waited he got a good look at Axel. The older man had small bags under his eyes and he looked content to sleep the world away. Roxas frowned wondering how much sleep Axel had gotten since Roxas' vacation started. Roxas quickly got a blanket from the flight attendant along with a pillow. He moved the armrest and laid Axel's head down on his lap with the pillow and covered him with the blanket; trying his best to make Axel comfortable. He saw a small smile form on Axel's face and Roxas could fee one of his own appear on his face. As he looked up he saw another passenger giving them a disapproving look. Roxas responded by sending the older gentleman a scathing look. He suddenly found his Skymall magazine very interesting.

After that small hitch the flight was fine, just monotonous. Even though Roxas had managed to calm himself down during it, now that they had landed he became nervous again. Axel was straight faced, tight lipped and silent. It wasn't helping keep Roxas calm. They found Hayner outside in a plain looking grey Prius with a scowl on his face. "Get in." Yeah this is gonna go well, Roxas thought. Hayner almost never drove his Prius. He didn't want to become a tool and "only tools drive Priuses". His parents gave it to him, enough said.

So after dropping off Roxas' stuff off at his place and racing back to Hayner's place, he led the couple inside, closed the door and gave the couple a hard scrutinizing look. After a minute Roxas piped up. "Please stop looking and start yelling."

The damn broke. "With pleasure! What the hell were you thinking?! Just because you and your boy toy have superpowers doesn't mean you can take on the world and get in over your head! You could have died in that cemetery! Lucky Axel was there to save your ass." Axel smirked triumphantly and Roxas rolled his eyes. Hayner quickly got their attention again as he screamed. "HEY! Focus! And what's this about you joining the Organization?! They attract danger like it was their job! Whether the attack was their fault or not it won't be the last time something like that happens! I've done my research. For being around for roughly 20 years they sure do have a bad reputation. Claims of mass murder, destruction of cities and not to mention all the scientists and governments wanting to capture and experiment on them! And the battles they get into are absolutely violent!" A small shudder passed through Hayner's body as he continued." You really want to be a part of all that?! You could get killed or worse become a lab rat!" Hayner looked like he wanted to continue ranting but he suddenly looked drained, the past couple days catching up to him. To Roxas he looked worn out and ragged. "You're my best friend Roxas. I don't want you getting hurt."

Roxas slowly led his best friend over to his couch. They sat next to each other and Roxas gave Hayner a hug. "A hug? Really? I'm not your boyfriend." Hayner said as he hugged back. Roxas chuckled weakly and punched Hayner in his head playfully. "Listen Hay, I know it seems like I'm in over my head but I'm not. The Organization are already backing me up and do you honestly think my stalker is going anywhere I'm not?" Axel perked up at being mentioned and wrapped his arms around Roxas' head and neck. Roxas gave Axel a thankful look and continued. "I won't be alone no matter what. Plus I know you've gotten better at fighting so if I need back up I know who to call." Roxas gave his best friend a bright smile and Hayner seemed to physically relax and laughed, with Roxas slowly joining in.

After the laughter faded, silence took its place. But leave it to Axel who quickly broke it. "Alright, elephant in the room! How the hell did you know about Roxas' vacation and the Organization?"

Hayner chuckled nervously. "So the thing is I'm a seer. I can see the future but it usually comes in jumbled messes I have to sort out later. Usually it's about my friends who are in danger but sometimes they're completely random moments. Also if I research a certain event and focus hard enough I can see it. unfortunately it gives me massive headaches."

"I knew it!"

The two teens snapped their heads towards Axel with twin looks of confusion, which made Axel laugh. "Cute. I'm surprised you're single Hayner." Queue Scowl. "Anyway the Organization actually had a seer in the group several years back. Don't really know much about her, she was gone before I even signed up. Either way there's a policy floating around saying that we have to protect all seers at all costs." He sent Hayner a Cheshire cat grin. "That means that guy protecting you is one of us." Hayner's scowl morphed into a look of shock. That left Roxas in-between the two knee deep in confusion. He quickly spoke up. "Alright start explaining before I kick both of your asses!"

Hayner answered first. "You know the gym teacher Mr. Harkness?" Roxas nodded. Axel filled in the rest with one word. "Xaldin." Roxas' eyes flew open. "Xaldin as in one of the original three?!"

"Yep! I knew he had been on a long term mission but no one had details as to what; or at least no one was sharing them with me. I knew we wouldn't leave a seer unprotected and Xemnas already knew about you when I texted him so I just connected the dots!" Axel looked pretty proud of himself as Roxas whispered to Hayner, "last time he did that was in Pre-K." The two snickered at Axel's expense which caused the red head to pout. "You guys are mean." Roxas gave him a small kiss and said, "Proud of you."

"But yeah Xaldin the gym teacher is the guy watching over me. he's also training me in martial arts. He can't train me to hone my other abilities though because he doesn't know how. Not from a lack of trying though."

"Wait no wonder you beat the crap out of Seifer last time you two fought! Nicely done by the way." Hayner put a smug look on his face and dusted of his shoulders, which made the other two laugh.

"Alright now that you two are back I'm inviting the rest of the gang over! Time to celebrate your return!"

The night was wonderful for everyone involved. Roxas showed of the pictures of all the places they went to. The other three shared their own vacation adventures: Pence had started an actual novel and was two chapters in. Turns out Sci-Fi was his genre. Olette showed off her pictures of the costumes she finished for the play. They came out perfect for the characters she described that they were portraying and she couldn't have been happier. After explaining the whole seer situation, and another round of shocked looks, Hayner showed off some of his new fighting moves and was able to keep Axel on his toes the whole time they sparred. Roxas mentioned to Axel that he wanted to learn how to fight like that and Axel just brushed him off with a simple "yeah, yeah, yeah". All around it was a great night for the tight-knit group and left the door open for an eventful couple months of school.

So there, that's out in the open. I had this planned out for Hayner since a couple chapters ago. Even though he's not the main focus, Hayner has is own story line. I wanted to make sure that every character that has a name has their own back story, no matter how small. So that means lots of details and character building. Which is fine with me i enjoy writing like that. Let me know what you think.
