I am Ash
Hey there, guys and gals. Anyways I will tend to this story a little more. I am sorry if I forget past facts or anything, it has been awhile. Feel free to correct me. I'll try to pick up the pace of the tournament now, as it isn't really going to be the main conflict.
Third POV
Most of the matches were already gone through now at this point. Next was the quarter-finals. Ash and Cynthia were laying in bed, still asleep and completely tired after watching as many of the other battles as they could. Cynthia thought it was greatly important to learn of your opponents' moves, even though she was extremely versatile and powerful already. Ash, however, tagged along just because he wanted to be with Cynthia. He, of course, had Pikachu learn everything while he dozed off with his eyes open. Cynthia didn't need to know about that little detail though.
Right now, Pikachu was outside with all of the other Pokemon. He was still trying to explain his Primal form to the others. Some of the older ones understood it, but otherwise none of Ash's main Pokemon could grasp the concept of unlocking such a form. After that, Pikachu tried to recreate his transformation, but he couldn't. Sighing, Pikachu gave up. He figured that a large dragon appearing in the middle of town wouldn't be such a good idea anyways.
Tired, Pikachu walked back inside and leaped onto the couch. He cuddled up into himself and closed his eyes.
Before he could fall completely asleep, Pikachu felt an icy presence enter the room. His cautious nature kicked in, even though he guessed who it was. His ears twitched just slightly when the other presence leaped onto the couch with him.
Despite the cold presence that he felt, the fur of the other Pokemon was actually quite warm. He didn't know she did it, but he was fine with not freezing his butt off.
"Pikachu...", Glaceon whispered under her breath, staring at the cute little mouse that she had never noticed before. Over the time that her master and the Aura man had spent together, she began to notice the Pikachu a little more. His devotion to his master...no, his friend...was extremely intriguing.
"Are you going to just stand there, or do you need something?", Pikachu spoke out with his eyes still closed.
Glaceon was a little surprised. Surely, he was asleep? "There is no need to be so rude. And I can stand here if I want.", Glaceon responded, her more defiant and strong personality subconsciously coming out.
"Yeah, whatever. I apologize for being so blunt.", Pikachu said, rubbing his eyes and sitting up to look at the frost queen in front of him.
Not fully accepting his apology, but knowing better than continuing an unnecessary argument, Glaceon nodded. "No worries. I was being a bitch myself."
Pikachu smiled, "I was being a bitch?"
Glaceon smirked. "Maybe", she innocently and cutely responded.
Pikachu sighed, but inwardly smiled. He could get used to this Glaceon. She was much more compatible with him. More than the other Glaceon ever was. That thought struck a string in his heart, so he decided to drop the topic.
Smiling again at the Glaceon, "How about we go wake our trainers up?"
As the two Pokemon entered the room and looked at their trainers, they had to stifle their giggles as they saw their oh so powerful trainers. Ash had his arm wrapped around Cynthia, his face buried in her hair. She had her face on his chest and was slightly drooling. Their legs were tangled together. What was most funny was the hair of each. Ash scattered Cynthia's hair as he moved during the night. Likewise, Cynthia caused Ash's hair to be disheveled. Apparently, Cynthia was grabby in the night.
Pikachu and Glaceon silently hopped onto the bed. They pressed against each other to avoid touching their trainers. The Pokemon pair looked at each other with a grin before preparing to jump on Ash's chest.
Before they could, Ash rolled over and crushed the poor pair. Feeling a sudden lump in his side, Ash jerked awake and pushed himself onto Cynthia. His face landed in an...unfavorable position on Cynthia. She woke up and slapped him, "Pervert!" Ash nervously put his hands up to block himself, "No, its not like that!" Cynthia clenched her fist again, but stopped. It was just Ash, after all. But that didn't mean he could do it again, accident or not!
Ash felt two new presences in his room, and looked over to this new lump.
Pikachu and Glaceon quickly pretended to be asleep. Ash lifted the covers to find the two pokemon in a cute and cuddled position. Ash and Cynthia sat next to each other and watched the pair sleep.
Cynthia cooed, "Awwww, they're soooo cute!"
Ash chuckled at his best friend, "Wow Pikachu, I didn't know you were so good with the ladies."
Pikachu pretended to stretch and wake up, rubbing his eyes. Glaceon followed suit, trying to mimic her new friend. Ash got up and left for the restroom, with Cynthia going with him.
The pair looked at each other and giggled once more before walking out for breakfast.
After finishing up with their morning routine, Ash and Cynthia left for the stadium. There weren't any battles today as the quarter-finals started the next day. The couple walked towards the Pokemon center so Cynthia could get more of her Pokemon. Like Ash, she could hold much more than 6 Pokemon on her. Recently, she had only held a few of them so now was the time to grab more.
Of course, Ash threw on his hood before they left the house. It was either that or alter his appearance using aura. But that took too much effort. Ash discovered a lot of Aura's abilities during his time with Arceus.
As they entered the Pokemon center, a small crowd gathered as they saw the legendary Cynthia enter with her companion. People were in awe of the emanating power of the couple. Wanting to be left alone, Cynthia inwardly gave a mischievous grin and announced, "Whoaaaaa! It's the rising new trainer Reflect! And it looks like he's answering questions!"
The crowd's attention quickly shifted to the mysterious new entry who seemed to be sweeping the competition. He blew away many of the favorites, some of which were top coordinators and Kanto Gym Leaders.
Cynthia then quickly took off towards the Pokemon transfer center, where she could get more Pokemon from Old Man Rowan, as Ash now called him. She giggled at his clearly audible groans as he was bombarded with questions. Some questions he answered to placate the crowd, but many other questions he had to refrain from answering.
"Mr. Reflect! How did you get so powerful?"
"Uh. You train! And believe in the bonds you have between you and your Pokemon!"
"Reflect, sir! What region did you start?"
"I started on a rather small faraway region, but I moved over here and started in Kanto. I've traveled all over, though."
"What are your relations with ?" Many people "Ooo"-ed at this question. It seems as if a bunch of people wondered about the lives of others. Oh yeah, it's called gossip. Ash sighed, knowing that he couldn't answer this question without either upsetting someone or forsaking too much personal information. He decided to just ignore it.
After not receiving a response from that question, the audience amazing decided not to pry...for now. "Hey, what was that thing that Pikachu transformed into? I don't think the world has seen that type of transformation before. Is it a secret evolution?", someone asked.
"Well, I honestly don't know all of the details myself. So there ya go."
Before any others could ask more questions, a rare sight was indeed revealed. An angry Nurse Joy stomped over to the crowd. "Now listen up! This is a place for people and Pokemon to relax! Leave now unless you wanna pummeled by me! And you there! Reflect! Meet me at the help desk." That last part was spoken rather sweetly, too much so for Cynthia's taste, who was listening to the commotion.
The crowd dispersed, leaving just a single Reflect, who made his way to the desk, following the now-calm nurse. Once arriving at the desk, Nurse Joy walked behind the desk to her computer and picked up a package. She smiled and handed it to Reflect.
"Here you go, Ash", she whispered that last part before winking at him. Before the Nurse could go any farther with the flirting, Cynthia stepped in.
"Thank you very much, Nurse! We'll just be off now.",Cynthia quickly spoke as she waved goodbye. The Nurse gave a scowl to the blonde beauty, but of course the couple already turned around.
"So what's that, Reflect?", Cynthia asked, reverting back to his proper public name. Ash wasn't too sure either, so he opened it up rather carelessly. Cynthia wanted to scold him for doing so, but really couldn't resist her own curiosity either.
The opening revealed a package that was labeled, "For Ash Ketchum".
The inside of the packaging was nothing special. It was actually quite simple. Inside, however, was a short little note.
Dear Ash,
Take care of them. Unlike the others they will always physically with you.
Sincerely, A
Ash found a piece of paper that told him to put some aura into it. He followed the instructions and placed his hand on it. After pulsing in aura, the scroll slowly rose into the air before falling apart, leaving only three pokemon eggs in its place.
The eggs hadn't developed enough yet to have a noticeable pattern yet. Both Ash and Cynthia harbored curiosity for the inhabitants of these eggs. Ash seemed to know who A was, but she had absolutely no clue.
"Interesting", Ash muttered. Cynthia wanted to ask, but decided against it.
Before any further questions could be asked, Ash promptly put the three eggs into a special ball. The ball was an incubator that could hold as many eggs as Ash would ever need. The couple then walked out of the Pokemon center.
Ash tensed up when they stepped out into the open. He hoped that Cynthia didn't notice, but of course she did.
"Hey, go ahead and head to the restaurant before me. I've...got something to do.", Ash said as calm as possible.
Cynthia debated whether to confront Ash or not. She couldn't find it in her heart to bring it up. She knew that Ash would not just tense up like that without a good reason. He was strong, calm, and always kept his cool when around strangers.
Sighing, she replied, "Okay fine. But if you're late, I won't be happy. And when I'm not happy, you won't be happy, right?" She purred while finishing that statement, knowing she had basically trapped him. Ash may like to keep his cool, but she could feel how he felt on the inside.
Ash gulped and nodded before whistling for Pidgeot. Before the Pidgeot could land, Cynthia pulled Ash into a quick but passionate kiss, knocking his hood off.
Cynthia waved goodbye and walked off to the restaurant, not bothering to see Ash leave.
As Ash pondered the quick snapping sound he heard, Cynthia rounded a corner and ran into quite the motley crew.
End :) Next chapter will have a pretty good amount of stuff happening. This one kid of establishes more background for the plot. Also for the three unidentified eggs, give me some feedback. Which three pokes would you like to see Ash have? They don't have to be legendary because with Ash, any pokemon can be strong. Thanks for reading! I'll try to get the next chapter up as soon as I can.
