Hanna would lie if she said she did not enjoy being popular again. She could tell everyone what to do, and she had to admit it. She loved it. Because Alison died the school needed a new class president, and Hanna won the title… again. The best part was when she walked down the hall people did not look at her with disgust but with respect and worship – something she really had been missing.
Hanna was on her way to her first cheer practice since getting the top spot back. She ran into Caleb. "Wow Hanna is that you?" he asked surprised. Hanna smiled friendly, and flipped her golden blonde hair. "Off course it is" she answered with a smirk. "I could not recognize you at all. Last week you looked nothing like this!" he answered confused. He looked at her cheerleading uniform. "You rejoined the cheer squad? I thought you hated cheerleading now?" he said. "I'm captain again, and I changed my mind, but I'm going to practice, see you!" she said and left. Caleb looked after her confused.
The squad was getting ready in the gym. Hanna walked in with Aria. "Okay squad! As you all possible know I'm back as captain, let's get started!" Hanna said. CeCe looked bitchy at Hanna. "I have created a completely new routine. CeCe you are in the back" smiled Hanna. A few minutes after was the squad cheering. "I don't know what you've been told. Rosewood high is good as gold. Our team is the best, we cheer loudest than the rest!" yelled the squad. Hanna was thrown up in the air and was catched perfect. Some cheerleaders tumbled in front of the squad, while Aria, Hanna and the rest of the squad danced and shook their pompoms. CeCe danced angry in the back.
Hanna knew that detective Tanner was watching her more than ever. After all Hanna had pretty much taken over Alison's social place at school. But Tanner had not called Hanna in for another questing again. Even though Hanna seemed like the perfect suspect for the murder she wasn't scared at all. Hanna had a lot of eyewitnesses from school conforming she was watching the performance peacefully - so she was off the hook. Thank God. Hanna was actually starting to enjoy her life again, and she loved being best friends with Spencer, Aria and Emily again. The girls was stronger than ever, especially because of their plan about catching the stalker.
Ashley Marin had been really busy at the Rosewood bank the last week, and she had not seen Hanna. Hanna entered the living room. Ashley looked up from the computer and was surprised. "Hanna is that you?" she asked. "You can't recognize your own daughter mom?" asked Hanna with a smile. Ashley just stared at Hanna's blonde long hair, and the blue and white cheerleading uniform. "But mom I'm really busy! I'm working on a routine for the football game, planning my campaign for homecoming queen, working on my speech for the student council, and I'm going shopping with Aria and some of the girls from the squad. See you!" said Hanna fast and left the room. Ashley looked speechless after her.
Hanna and the girls were still waiting for a message from the stalker. Hanna rejoined her title as the most popular girl in school a week ago, and she hadn't heard from the stalker yet. Hanna was shopping at the mall with Aria and some of the other cheerleaders. "Hanna you need to buy that dress, it would look amazing on you when you win homecoming queen!" said Aria. Hanna looked at the dress, it was beautiful. When Hanna was looking after money in her purse she saw it – a note. Welcome back bitch. Hanna smiled while reading the message, "bring it bitch" she whispered confident. This time she wasn't a scared little girl. Then she found her money and bought the dress she wanted.
