The Unspeakables hadn't seemed surprised to see any of them, and when Harry told, at Hermione's urging, about the parts of soul, they had nodded knowingly. The head of the department, Croaker, promised he would personally start researching and would be in touch soon. He also allowed them to look through the various wands that had been left in or to the department, so that James, Lily, Sirius and Cedric would all have one. Sirius was surprised to see his old wand there, but figured it had probably been given to the Unspeakables after his pass through the veil, when it was no longer needed as evidence.

During the earlier Wizengamot meeting, Harry, with help from his friends, had pushed through a measure to clear Sirius' name. He'd used his memory of what happened, along with Hermione's, as well as oaths to their veracity. This is something that Hermione quietly filled Sirius in on, while refusing to let go of his hand, though few people noticed.

Once back at Hogwarts, Dumbledore had not even bothered to see who had come back with Harry. Minerva had nearly burst into tears when she saw the four new faces with them, her white-knuckled hands hugging both James and Lily before doing the same to Sirius and Cedric. Her patronus flickered, bringing Severus into the hall where the sight of Lily's auburn head nearly had him falling to his knees. Her forgiving smile, as well as both James and Sirius holding out their hands with apologies, made him smile as well. They might never be friends, but they could certainly put the past behind them to deal with the real enemies.

Pomona Sprout was stunned to see her lost Badger among the Lions and Snakes. It took no time for the motherly woman to hug Cedric and then to suggest they all move into the Hospital Wing, where Poppy Pomphrey could contact those who needed contacted and they could control who came in. Neville asked if they could please ask his grandmother, along with Amelia Bones, Remus Lupin, and the Diggorys to come, and Minerva quickly arranged it while Poppy, with tears in her own eyes, had the elves bring dinner up for the group. Hermione asked if they could get Pansy, Blaise, Nerissa, Vince, and Greg, along with Sue Bones, to come in as well and Lily asked for Professor Flitwick.

As the group got situated, with some of the beds turned into tables and chairs, the professors slipped back into the Great Hall for dinner, promising to return with their friends after the meal.

After the meal, Poppy had taken no time in running diagnostics over each of the four who'd come back. Each were in perfect health, which would only be surprising if Lily hadn't explained that Death himself had made sure of it because he wanted to give Harry every bit of help he could. He'd literally bent every rule he could to do as he had. She then showed them to a room full of comfortable chairs, just off the Wing, suggesting that they might not want the entire Slytherin Common Room to know everything just yet.

As the group of requested guests filed in, the last ones to come in were Remus, with Tonks, and the Diggorys. Amos clutched his chest, staring at his son while Remus looked beyond confused.

"It's me, Dad," Cedric said quietly. "Harry figured out a way," was as far as he got before his mother was squeezing the air from his lungs. The small family were soon parked on a couch, Cedric between his parents, neither of which wanted to let go.

Remus stared, unsure of what to believe. He could see Sirius, sitting beside Hermione, who had yet to let go of him. Memories of walking into Grimmauld Place and seeing the two of them sitting side by side, flooded him. That whole summer, when it got too much, Hermione had escaped to wherever the two Marauders had hidden and she'd often been right at Sirius' side. They pretended not to get along, to keep Molly from grumbling about things, but he knew the two had grown close.

But it was seeing James and Lily, sitting with Harry and Ginny, that threw him completely for a loop. "Prongs," he murmured, as James laughed and beckoned him over, the two men sharing a tight hug before Hermione pushed Sirius toward them and the three Marauders were soon fighting back tears. Tonks was next, launching herself at her cousin with a muffled cry.

After a few moments, they settled back into place, Hermione reclaiming Sirius' arm as Tonks sat on his other side, Remus sitting at her feet. The group at large began by laying out what they had puzzled out, sharing what information they had. And by the end of it, there was a firm plan in place for dealing with the political end of it. When Harry revealed that the Unspeakable Croaker had promised to help with the whole divided soul thing, Augusta had nodded. "Algernon will not let you down, Lord Potter," she promised.

"Croaker is Great-Uncle Algie?" Neville asked, looking stunned. He blushed when James and Sirius both started to laugh.

"Looks just like Frank when he does that, sounded like him too," James said with a grin.

Harry was distracted. "Is their return going to change things as far as those seats? All of our plans revolved around me holding both Potter and Black," he said quietly.

"No, once they're declared and their wills are read, that's that. However, if you wish, you can send letters to Gringotts, giving them access to the vaults again, and we can have them declared proxies for the seats. In fact, it would be helpful for you to have more adults you can trust anyway," Amelia said.

Draco nodded. "It would be helpful to have more options for proxies anyway, since we'd agreed that if we tried to split them between Lady Augusta and Mum, it would end up causing trouble. By splitting them five ways, it might give them some safety from the Death Eaters."

Gin looked over at him. "You're slipping, Dray. There is no safety from the bastards. Not for any of us. Not until Tom's dead, and the rest of them are either dead or Kissed."

"Tom?" Amelia asked, looking at Gin curiously.

"Tom Riddle," Hermione explained. "Tom Marvolo Riddle, to be specific." Her wand flicked and the flaming letters appeared, rearranging themselves into the familiar phrase. "Only child of Merope Gaunt and the local Muggle squire, Tom Riddle. She gave him a love potion and they ran off while her father and brother were in Azkaban. At some point, Merope stopped giving him the potion, thinking he would stay with her and their baby and he ran off. Merope died in childbirth, living just long enough to name her son, who grew up in an orphanage."

"How do you know this?" Augusta asked, curious as to how such information hadn't been public knowledge.

"Dumbledore told me. He had me taking private lessons with him, but instead of training, he's been showing me memories. I naturally told Hermione everything we learned. I don't know if the lessons will continue now or not, considering he tried to stun me in the middle of the Ministry," Harry explained.

"They certainly will not be continuing," Lily Potter growled. "Amelia, I want that man to keep his distance from my son. You will make this happen, yes?"

Amelia nodded and the group started to break up. Minerva knew that they weren't all going to leave though and she wasn't about to ask them too. "For now, those of you who wish to stay, we'll open up the visitor's wing. I can do that easily without notifying Dumbledore. Those students who wish to stay with their family members, or those who are adults, shall have the option of staying as well," she said, shooting a look at Hermione, who smiled back gratefully. "I'll have the elves move your things from your dormitories, and the other Heads and I shall explain your absences."
