After a long time, I finally add another chapter. Couldn't really get back to this story-School, video games, that kind of thing.

Now, this is going to be a marginal addition-not too much. Just...well...something.

...

Moving on...

CHAPTER 1-14: Clashes and Wrecks

The tall red being stood firmly on his spot in the deep, dark cavern, waiting for word on his plan. He has stood in the shadows long enough; it was time that he struck.

He heard footsteps coming from behind him, followed by a light slowly fading in, brightening the darkness. He turned to see his associate, the human 'Lambda', with a lantern in one hand and a Keystone Magnifier in his other hand. He walked up to the red being, slightly shaking while doing so. Lambda has always been intimidated by this mighty being.

"Flamel...sir..." he stammered, "I have...spotted the 'betrayers' with this...thing. They were heading over to the Arabian Sea from the Thailand coast."

Famel's orange eyes stayed eerily still as his mask of possession spoke. "Very good, mister Lambda. I expect that you have a plan to intercept them, do you not? You promised me results, and I intend to hear them."

"Of course Flamel...sir..." Lambda stammered again, "I have established a contact form the Scaro that could help us in completing our objective. He's the Chief of the coastal Scaro shipping dock Scaliona. He says he...knows...someone of yours. Some Scaro by the name of Lyarch, I think."

Flamel's eyes had hints of amusement, and he lifted his hand up to his face. "Of course, Lyarch. It just had to be that insane pile of scraps...what's the Chief's name?"

"He stated his name to be Coro, sir. He sounded reluctant though-he probably isn't telling the truth, or at least a majority of it."

"Well...I guess we can expect them with open arms and even wider grins," Flamel said, getting back into his previous position, "now, we shall discuss current affairs. Specifically, the one involving Captain Stein."

The Scaro cargo ship was sailing softly across the body of water known as the Arabian sea. It's built-in navigator and compass was leading it to the large desert continent Africa. However, there were no Scaro on board; only two bio-mechanical beings with immense power. These Toa warriors were about to pull off an amazing feat: destroy a monster known as the Raptor, a creature that Eliza learned of from a mutagen trader.

Calico stood upon the deck of the ship, wishing that the vast desert landscape would appear on the horizon soon. It's been six days since the start of their voyage back at Thailand, so he was hoping that they could get this over with and have no Scaro interfere with their plans. Calico stood on deck, keeping watch during the day; Eliza was below deck. He still had bad memories of his seasickness aboard the large Borog vessel and didn't want to take any chances.

He wanted to take a nap after the craziness of escaping the radars of three passing Scaro vessels in the past fifteen minutes, so he decided to take a nap in one of the wooden beds. As he fiddled around the uncomfortable wood, wondering if there was any blankets to cover himself with, he heard Calico come below deck as well. He sat up, trying to forget his uncomfortable state.

"Okay, PLEASE tell me there isn't another Scaro ship we need to bypass...I've had enough of our terrible luck." Eliza said irritably. Calico, amused at the sight of Eliza annoyed, but only for a second, responded, "No Brother, there isn't anything we need to worry about. Be calm...I thought you Plasma types were carefree and peaceful..."

"Oh, don't go playing the personality game..." Eliza said, "you know that is only a general description of Plasma Toa."

Calico chuckled and sat down next to his brother. "I know, I know. I just want you to lighten up at least a little bit, you know? We can't be all worried all the time. I'ts very counter-productive on an operation like this."

They sat in silence, just listening to the soft waves batter against the side of the boat. Then, Eliza said, "What do you think this thing we're after...is...exactly? It can't just be...the Raptor. I has to be something that is so massive, that it can change the outcome of a WAR."

Calico frowned, then shook his head. "I would have no clue. The only thing I could guess is that it's something like Makuta, but I'm not quite sure. I have no experience with mutagens or just mutation in general," he sighed after he said that, "sometimes I wish we weren't the only Toa on this planet...If only we-"

Suddenly, a large crash sound roared, and they were knocked over as the force of another boat hit them. They landed on more wood beds, which they disliked dearly. They groaned and got up, rubbing their masks as they stood up.

"Agh...Mata..." Eliza muttered. Then, his eyes widened. "Wait, we've been spotted!"

"Darn it!" Calico yelled, "why do I always subject myself to distractions!"

Eliza slapped Calico, which reeled slightly and began rubbing the part that Eliza slapped. "Snap out of it! We've got to get to Africa, and these guys aren't going to let us until we beat them away!"

"Ow..." Calico muttered, "if you would've just said that..." then, he stopped and remembered what Eliza just said.

"Wait, 'beat them away'? Why do you, of all Toa, think of that?" Calico said loudly, "you never resort to violence-"

"just, COME ON!" Eliza said, "the more time we waste, the less time we have to get away!"

Calico was silent, but then he screamed as another clash from the foreign object nearly knocked him over. He turned to Eliza and said, "Alright...we'll take care of them...but I'm having a talk with you afterward."

"Fine, let's GO!" Eliza said, as he took his Exato and ran up on deck.

"You crazy rahi-Toa..." Calico muttered as he grabbed the Smiter and ran up after him.

Captain Stein was sitting quietly in the Grass, meditating. He realized that he hadn't meditated since his first encounter with the Toa, so he decided to take a break from his work and have peace.

His single eye was not glowing, signifying that it was 'closed'. He breathed in, breathed out. Breathed in, breathed out.

He simply sat there, clearing up all his worries, stresses, and fatigue. For the first time in a long while after he started this incredible and tiring journey, he felt at peace.

...

Then, he heard the grass shifting.

...

He 'opened' his eye, giving him access to his surroundings. He looked up, down, side to side, as well as behind him. Nothing.

He 'closed his eye again.

...

He 'opened' it again as he heard more shifting. Then, at that moment, he heard something above him.

He looked up.

Then, everything was white.

Stein jumped from his spot, rail gun in hand, in a battle ready pose.

He had been asleep while meditating underneath the deteriorating Eiffel Tower. He steadily holstered his pistol back and sat back down, trying to calm himself from the strange dream he had.

Sir! Captain Stein sir!

He turned his box-head to see a female Borog Solider run up to him. Sir, the boss wanted to tell me that he needs to meet up with you at London. Will you travel with us?

Stein was quiet for a moment. What did the 'boss' want to know?

"Tell your crew that I'll be their in a moment," he replied, "I just need to prepare for a little bit before I go."

Hmm...very well sir. I'll tell them you're coming with us. good day Captain, sir. She then scurried off into the distance, over to one of the old canals that lined the place.

Captain stein sat there again, thinking about what happened.

He was unsure of his well-being for a while before this.

Calico and Eliza found themselves caught in the middle of several Scaro machetes as they fought off their attackers. Eliza, strangely enough, seemed to be smiling at points when his Exato staff hit a solider just hard enough to make the aforementioned get knocked unconscious. He worried about Eliza at those moments.

Then, it would get interrupted when he reached over to block several strong machete strikes with his Smiter.

It turns out that one Scaro boat can carry much more than it lets on. A grand total of 42 Scaro tried to board the ship that held the two Toa, and only about a third were unconscious or thrown overboard by Calico at that point.

As Eliza fought the waves of Scaro, Calico observed the other ship's deck. It was littered with boxes labeled 'cargo', 'fragile', and 'toxic'. He wondered why these men would need such things.

At that moment, a Scaro snuck up to Calico and managed to strike a portion of his back, making him scream in pain. He turned and tried to block, but his shoulder seemed to be made of rubber, as he quickly noticed the laceration was deep in his shoulder.

Another strike with the flat side of the blade hit just above his eye, making him hurt more. His vision started to get blurry-in desperation, he tried to activate his Kanohi Ruru. Luckily, it allowed him to see just as the Scaro was about to strike downwards onto his mask.

He quickly jumped and tackled his adversary, knocking the Scaro's head on the wood walls of the ship, knocking him out. He got up, his back still stinging immensely, as he struggled to see what Eliza was doing.

Unfortunately, Eliza was getting crowded by Scaro. He managed to strike many of them off, as evidenced by the pile of Scaro beneath him, but he was slowly being overrun. Calico ran over to his brother, ignoring the pain in his head, and tried to fend off the other attackers.

He managed to get to Eliza's position, and they both defeated the rest of the Scaro. Those not unconscious carried off the knocked-out soldiers and got on their boats, fleeing the scene.

"Yeah, that's right!" Eliza yelled as the tail of the boat just left the sight of the two, "Run from our might!"

Calico just stared out into the ocean. Something inside Eliza was changing, and it was gaining steam very fast.

"Now, Eliza, can we talk?" He said, "I really need to know what's going on."

Eliza turned to him, his green eyes looking into Calico's. "There is nothing to talk about, brother." He then walked off, going beneath the deck of the ship.

Calico was wondering what he did to set his brother off like this. He knew his brother inside out. He never gets this vile, not even in the toughest situations.

A thought then entered his head. His brother...this all started with the mentioning of this 'Flamel' makuta. He remembered when Eliza told him about the torture he was put through.

As the boat continued to move in its intended direction, Calico wonders if his brother snapped that day. Maybe...

NO. Calico tried to move the thought out of his head, but he couldn't get it out. He was sure his brother wouldn't...couldn't...

He tried to calm himself. The thought wouldn't leave though; he couldn't fathom it, but it put the pieces of the puzzle together so well he couldn't deny it.

He just needed to stay away from Eliza for a while. He needed to get something important.

He got one of the smaller boats on deck, used for emergencies. He took it, and threw it overboard, with himself getting inside it. He pushed away from the larger boat with his arm, knowing full well he was abandoning his brother again.

He couldn't think about it. He pushed harder on the side of the boat.

Eliza fell asleep in the crew quarters of the boat, unaware of what was going on. His dreams were the same...cold, dying, unable to feel...an un-breaking stare from a tall, red figure with glowing red eyes.

He woke up. He couldn't see Calico anywhere inside, so he thought he must be on the deck. He steadily got up, but quickly realized he couldn't. He was exhausted by a very large margin. He tried to grab onto one of the support beams, but something stopped him.

On his arm, just below his shoulder, was an area without color. He looked at his other arm-it was entirely colorless. Just a dark grey shade.

He started panicking. He got up and yelled for Calico.

"Calico! CALICO!" He got up frantically and tried to look for him.

He passed by a nearby mirror and noticed a strange color reflected on it. He turned.

His green eyes turned into a dull, tainted red.

AND scene!

I still need to think about what to do next. But, before that, one thing:

If you read this, and are interested in it, then good. At least someone likes it :)
