A/N: here's another story idea for you. This one is with Naruto and Neji being friends. This will be a Naruto/multi though I only know that he'll be paired with Tenten, but for who else that will be joining in I am making a list as we speak. I'll also pair Neji up too, but not sure who it will be right now. I'm working on that part. This one will also have some more humor in it too since I am trying to add more into this than I usually do. Hope you like it.
The Fox and the Hyuga

There was a loud almost shrieking scream that could be heard throughout the entire village. Two boys raced and hid in one of their hideouts. They were laughing and holding their stomachs.
"Oh man, that was pure gold" Naruto Uzumaki said wiping tears from his eyes.
"I know, I wish I could've seen his face when he saw himself" Neji Hyuga said laughing not even bothering wiping away his tears that were falling.
"Oh, but we have a way" Naruto said with a foxy grin.
"How?" Neji asked seeing that grin on his best friend's face.
"I hid a camera there and it should've taken snapshots of his reactions" Naruto said.
"I've got to get the camera, where is it?" Neji asked.
Naruto told him and Neji began making plans on snagging the camera without being caught. The two had just pranked Hiashi Hyuga. They dyed his hair when he was sleeping and when he awoke and went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror the Hyuga clan head saw he had shocking pink hair with vibrant yellow streaks.
Now many of you are probably wondering how Naruto and Neji became friends. Well, Neji was feeling sad and depressed about his father's death. Naruto had seen this and decided to cheer up Neji. Naruto paint bombed the entire Anbu office. This caused Neji to smile and also started a great friendship between the two.
Naruto and Neji were partners in pranking it seemed. Neji planned the pranks from Naruto's ideas. Naruto also was the one to execute them to since he could get away fast, faster than Neji. But Neji was always there to help Naruto if he got into trouble. They created their own sign language to communicate to one another.
They caused much mayhem wherever they went and had great fun too.

A few Years Later
Neji was crying when Naruto found him.
"Neji, man what is it?" Naruto asked as he crouched down by his best friend.
"I was branded" Neji said.
Naruto knew what Neji was talking about since Neji told him all about the make-up of the Hyuga clan. Naruto didn't like how they treated family.
"Don't worry Neji, I promise to find a way to get that seal off you, I swear" Naruto said seriously.
Neji would've snorted at this, but saw the fire in his best friend's eyes and knew Naruto would move heaven and earth to help him. He smiled and was so glad he had such a good friend.

"I did it!" Naruto shouted.
Neji looked up to see Naruto bouncing up and down like he had been given too much sugar. Neji really hoped no one did give Naruto sugar since the blond and sugar was a very volatile cocktail. A sugar high Naruto even scared Neji.
"What did you do Naruto?" Neji asked making sure he had an escape route just in case he needed it.
"I found a way to get rid of your brand" Naruto said.
Neji was so in shocked that he actually fell over.
"Whoa, Neji, you alright?" Naruto asked.
"Uh yeah" Neji said.
"Great, now lets take care of that seal" Naruto said as he pulled out his fuinjutsu materials.
"Are you really sure you know what you're doing Naruto?" Neji asked hesitantly.
"I am totally sure Neji" Naruto said firmly.
"Um okay, how did you figure it out?" Neji asked wanting to delay the procedure as long as possible.
Sure he trusted Naruto with his life, but it didn't mean he was stupid.
"Oh, it was odd really" Naruto said.
The blond then explained how he had snuck in and stolen several fuinjutsu books so he could get started with the basics. But as he was reading them he got a headache. He first thought it was because the material was too advanced for him. So he quit for the night and went to bed. When he awoke he found as he read the book again that he knew the stuff.
"It was so weird. I mean, I never used seals before, but I seem to know them, and very well. Anyway, I looked over the seal on your head since we drew it on paper so I could look at it when I learned fuinjutsu. Well, I looked at it and found ways to stop a lot of the seal's affects" Naruto said.
"Really?" Neji asked amazed by his friend's story.
Naruto nodded.
"Now lie down and let's get to work" he said.
Neji laid down, putting his life in Naruto's hands.

Years Later
Naruto was frustrated. He couldn't do the clone jutsu.
"Come on, why can't I do this" he said in exasperation.
Neji was watching on then activated his Byakugan and looked over Naruto.
"I think I might now your problem Naruto" he said.
"Really, what is it?" Naruto asked.
"You've got too much chakra. I used my Byakugan as you tried to use the clone jutsu and you pump too much chakra into it" Neji said.
"Ah man, what am I going to do? I need to know this jutsu to become a ninja" Naruto whined.
"Go see the Hokage, he'll know what to do" Neji suggested.
"Awesome man, I'll see him now" Naruto said then disappeared in a dist cloud.
Naruto later told Neji that he learned the shadow clone jutsu since he couldn't use the simple clone jutsu. Neji was happy for Naruto.

Years Later
Naruto and Neji were in their class at the academy. Though many of the teachers tried to sabotage Naruto's education Neji was always there to help his best friend out. No matter what the teachers did Naruto always succeeded and Neji was there to help him out. Naruto and Neji kept up their pranking too. They were too young to retire now.
So they caused mayhem whenever they got bored. Naruto targeted villagers who were mean to him and Neji targeted those Hyugas that he felt needed a rod from butt removal. The only Hyuga that Neji never pranked was Hinata since she was the only one Neji liked. Neji also made Naruto promise to never prank Hinata either and Naruto agreed since he agreed with Neji that Hinata was the only Hyuga that was nice.
So while most of the Hyugas were either dealing with itching powder, tie-dyed colored hair or what have you Hinata was the only one never affected by those unusual ailments.
"So Neji, what should we do today?" Naruto asked leaning back in his chair.
"Not sure, but aren't you going to go flirt with Tenten. It's about that time" Neji said as he glanced at his imaginary watch.
"It is. Well, see you in a bit. My maiden with sharp pointy things calls to me" Naruto said leaving his desk.
Neji shook his head at his friend. He found it interesting that Naruto's first girl he was interested in was a tomboy really. That was what Tenten was really. She didn't play with dolls or gush over boys. She trained and wanted to be the best kunoichi. To be just like her idol Tsunade Senju. So he just sat back to watch the mating ritual of Naruto and Tenten. It was interesting to say the least.
"Hello there my Heavenly Heaven" Naruto greeted in a suave and dashing manner.
Tenten felt a tick in her right eye as she sent a slight glare at Naruto. He was always so annoying. Fun to be around and he could make her laugh and all, but he was annoying when he flirted with her. Well, not really. She liked the attention Naruto was giving her, but did he have to give her that nickname.
"Hello Naruto" she said being nice.
"I love your hands. So rough and covered with calluses. They are a real woman's hands" Naruto said as he took Tenten's hands in his and stroked them like a lover would.
Tenten's face turned red.
"Oh fair maiden a reddish hue graces your soft silky skin. How I long to stare into your mocha eyes and get lost in them forever more" Naruto said.
"W-w-where did you come up with that?" Tenten asked.
"By staring at beauty personified in human form, you" Naruto said as he leaned in and gave Tenten a quick peck on the cheek.
Tenten fainted.
"Congrats Naruto. Not even five minutes and you made her pass out. I think that's a new record" Neji said as he stopped a stopwatch that he pulled out from nowhere.
"Really, darn I was hoping for longer" Naruto said snapping his fingers.
Neji chuckled and shook his head.
The teacher came in and began the lesson. Luckily Tenten awoke just in time.

Naruto, Neji and Tenten were sitting around. Tenten was sitting in Naruto's lap. She and Naruto had finally gotten together. Neji was happy for them since watching the mating ritual as much fun as it was could get annoying with Naruto spouting off his own form of poetry that only made Tenten swoon. Naruto still did his own poets corner, but just for Tenten and in private since she pounced on him every time and they made out like two dogs in heat. Neji saw it once and described it just like that.
"So what team do you think we'll be on?" Naruto asked with an arm wrapped around Tenten's waist.
"Not sure. I am a shoe-in for rookie of the year. I know that and Tenten as top kunoichi. You however are somewhere in the middle" Neji said.
Naruto was smart, really smart, but due to the teachers being bias to him his grades never showed it.
"I hope we're on the same team together. I work well with you both" Tenten said.
Tenten had helped and joined in Naruto and Neji's plans for mayhem. She loved it since there was never a dull moment with them. A sudden explosion rocked the academy.
"What was that?" Tenten asked looking at Neji and Naruto.
"Eh, we met the Uchiha. He's a prick so he decided to lighten him up" Naruto said.
"Yeah, he'll be more colorful now" Neji said with a smirk.
There was screams and the three turned to see Sasuke Uchiha. He was covered in bright neon colors. Neon reds, neon blues, neon yellows and so on and so forth. He looked pissed. A colorful pissed.
"I'd say we added some color to his personality" Naruto commented.
"Yes, it was much needed" Neji said then bit into his sandwich.
Tenten giggled into her hand.
Sasuke came storming up to them with his rabid pack of fan girls following.
"You" he hissed.
"Does he mean me 'you' or you 'you'?" Naruto asked as looked at Neji.
"I'm not sure. He needs to articulate better" Neji said.
"We know it was you, you're in big trouble" a pink haired girl shrieked.
"Look, the Uchiha has his own 'screaming' fan section" Naruto commented.
Tenten bit her lip to keep from laughing.
"Yes he does, though wished she'd turn down the volume. We're not that far away. She doesn't have to shout" Neji said as he cleaned out his ear.
"I challenge you to a fight, fight me" Sasuke said glaring at Naruto.
"Hmm, no. We're not allowed to fight unless a teacher is around and it is a sanction spar" Naruto said.
"You know the rules?" Tenten asked a bit stunned that her boyfriend would know such a thing.
"Of course. I've broken so many of them I know them as well as I know my own name" Naruto said with a casual shrug.
"Fight me" Sasuke growled out.
"And I already told you I can't. Now be a good Technicolor and go back to your crayon box" Naruto said shooing Sasuke away.
Sasuke was about to strike back when the bell rang.
"Saved by the bell, see ya Bright and the Colorful" Naruto said as he got up.
He walked away with Tenten on his arm and Neji watching his back.

"Okay class today we'll be sparring with another class" the teacher said.
Naruto groaned. He just knew fate was messing with him now. Neji patted his friend on the shoulder and Tenten hugged Naruto's arm. Soon the three along with the rest of their class was outside. Already there was the other class and it just happen to have Sasuke Uchiha in it. It appeared that he was able to clean himself off and looked back to his moody normal self.
"Great, just great. And knowing my luck. I'll be fighting him" Naruto grumbled.
"Yes, sadly you're fate's bitch" Neji said with a smirk.
"Yeah. So who do you think you'll get Neji?" Naruto asked changing the subject.
"Hmm, most likely the Inuzuka. But I am unsure" Neji said.
"I just hope I don't get a fan girl. If I do then I'll be pissed" Tenten said.
"You can whip any of the girls over there my Heavenly Heaven. You are by far the strongest and hottest one of all" Naruto said.
Tenten swooned a bit, but held herself together. She'd reward Naruto later. She had gotten to like the nickname Naruto had given her since he says it in such a loving manner. No one else was allowed to call her that. If they did then kunai and other sharp pointy things appeared ready to do bodily damage.
Neji rolled his eyes at this.
Soon the matches began and most weren't that exciting. Until…
"Will Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha come here" the teacher said.
"Shit, I hate it when I am right" Naruto said.
"Kick his ass and take names my friend" Neji said patting his friend on the back.
"Better not loss Naruto. I won't kiss you if you do" Tenten said.
Naruto got into the sparring circle and faced Sasuke, who looked extremely pleased by this.
"I will now show you that I, Sasuke Uchiha, am the best. You shall be on your knees in front of me when this all over" Sasuke crowed.
"Um, dude. I don't go that way. I've got a very hot girlfriend" Naruto said.
There were snickers from the crowd hearing this. Tenten was flattered though she had a bright red hue on her cheeks. Neji just chuckled as he shook his head.
This enraged Sasuke.
The match began and Sasuke made the first move. He thought he could beat Naruto easily forgetting that Naruto was a year ahead of him in the academy. He charged in with a punch as his fan girls cheered him on.
Naruto shook his head and waited til Sasuke's fist was close. He then slapped Sasuke's fist away. Used his foot and tripped Sasuke. This made Sasuke stumble, but he regained his balance. He turned around snarling at Naruto, who looked calm. This enraged Sasuke since Naruto was doing a very good impression albeit an accidental one of Sasuke's brother, Itachi.
"I'm going to kill you!" Sasuke shouted.
"No need to shout Uchiha, we're outside and I can hear you just fine" Naruto said.
Sasuke snarled again as he charged at Naruto. He began throwing punches and kicks at Naruto. Naruto though was dodging all them with ease. He could see what was coming since Sasuke's anger was making telegraph his attack patterns.
The sound of Sasuke's cheering section was getting louder and this made the rest of the class very annoyed. Especially the pinked haired girl, who was the loudest of them all.
"If I get that pink haired bitch I'll shut her up for good" Tenten muttered under her breath.
"I wonder if her screeching is some kind of doujutsu?" Neji pondered.
"I don't care what it is. I just want her to shut up" Tenten said through gritted teeth.
Many others agreed with Tenten on this.
Back with the match Sasuke was tiring, but his rage had yet to ebb at all. He looked to see Naruto still standing there and hadn't even broken a sweat yet. Oh yes, Naruto seemed to channeling Itachi Uchiha at the moment even though he didn't know it.
"Are you done yet?" Naruto asked.
This made Sasuke roar with fresh rage. He charged at Naruto. Naruto moved quickly and shifted to the side getting out of the way of Sasuke's fist. He then grabbed Sasuke's wrist and pulled it forcefully behind Sasuke's back. Sasuke gasped in pain from the forced motion. Naruto then slammed Sasuke to the ground on his stomach pinning Sasuke's arm with his knee. With one hand he yanked Sasuke's head up by his hair and the other hand he pulled out a training kunai and held it to Sasuke's neck.
Now training kunai were dull and had no point. They were used most times in the academy to avoid accidents. They only used sharp kunai when it came to target practice and they were handed out by the chunin instructors. Though Tenten always carried around sharp kunai wherever she went. No matter how many times the chunin instructors tried they could never find all of the kunai and other sharp pointy things she had stashed on herself.
"Get off me" Sasuke demanded.
"No can do, not until the teacher calls the match" Naruto said in a conversational tone.
Everyone was shocked at how the match ended. Most were sure Sasuke would win. All of Sasuke's fan girls were shocked that their beloved Sasuke had lost. The teachers thought that Sasuke would beat Naruto and stood there stunned at the sight.
Meanwhile Neji was smirking as he was collecting bets from everyone who bet against Naruto. He made quite a bundle. Tenten just smiled. She was so going to reward Naruto later.
Finally the teacher came to his senses and called the match announcing Naruto was the winner. Naruto got up and walked away. This though didn't please Sasuke and as he got up and began forming hand signs.
"NARUTO LOOK OUT!" Tenten shouted.
Naruto stopped and turned back to see as Sasuke finished and a burst of fire erupted from Sasuke's lips. Naruto needed to think fast, his mind raced then he figured out what to do. He shushined away. He saw the technique done many times since he saw the Anbu who guarded him used it. So he got out of the way of the burst of fire.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Attacking a student after a match and in the back. I know that we're being trained as shinobi and shinobi use many underhanded tactics, but an attack in the back. I don't think many would do that" Naruto said now from his new spot by Tenten.
Tenten jumped hearing Naruto's voice since she thought he was fried. She turned to find Naruto standing right beside her. She leapt into Naruto's arms hugging him tightly. Tears leaked from her eyes from relief that Naruto was alive.
"I'm alright Tenten" Naruto said gently in Tenten's ear.
Sasuke was breathing hard since he used a lot of chakra on that jutsu.
Neji was glaring at Sasuke. He so wanted to charge in there and beat the living shit out of the Uchiha for trying to burn his best friend to a crisp. But Naruto had a hand on his arm to keep him from doing so.
"Though I am wondering what the teachers will do since they saw Sasuke's attempt on my life since we're not allowed any jutsu at all especially ones that could be deadly. This of course was supposed to be friendly sparring matches" Naruto said.
"But you used a jutsu!" the pink haired girl shouted.
"Yes, I used a jutsu, but only after the Uchiha here used one and I only used it to save my life. What was I supposed to do let it hit me?" Naruto asked.
"I saw the match and what happened after it and Naruto is correct. Sasuke Uchiha has broken the rules of combat" an Anbu said.
"Hey pervy dog" Naruto greeted.
The Anbu wearing a dog mask face-faulted.
"Naruto, how many times have I told you not to call me that?" he asked.
"Hey, I can call you that after I've seen you reading all those perverted books when you were watching me. Your name fits with what you read" Naruto said.
"Oh Naruto darling, you didn't happen to read those books too, did you?" Tenten asked sweetly as she fingered a couple freshly sharpened kunai.
Neji prayed that his friend wouldn't have a blond moment right now since it might cost him his life if he did.
"Of course not my Heavenly Heaven. I would never read such filth when I have you in my arms" Naruto said as he pulled Tenten into a warm embrace.
Tenten smiled as she cuddled into Naruto. She had such a good boyfriend.
Saved by the insane kind of luck you have again my friend Neji thought.
"Right, I shall report this to the Hokage and let him know. Please continue" Dog said.
So the matches went on. Neji was faced off against Kiba Inuzuka. Neji easily won since Kiba charged in wildly. Neji blocked Kiba's chakra points and then knocked him out. As for Tenten she got the pink haired shouter. Tenten easily took her out without even break a sweat. She ranted on how she'd win and show her 'precious Sasuke' how strong she was. Tenten just gave the girl a knuckle sandwich and that was it. The girl folded like an accordion.
After that the rest of the matches were finished. Naruto, Tenten and Neji walked off since class was over.
"So what should we do now?" Neji asked.

It was the graduation exam and Naruto was bored out of his mind. He had finished his test and so had Neji. So the two were playing tic-tac-toe. Tenten was twirling a kunai around. All three waiting for the written portion of the test to be done with. When it was they and the rest of the their class headed outside for the physical portion.
"What's the point of that test. I mean, it's not like we're going to get beat an enemy nin by getting 100% on a written test" Naruto asked aloud.
"It's to appease the civilian side of the council. I heard that the civilian council thought the standards to become genin was too tough for children of civilian families to pass" Neji said.
"Hmph, they're just weakening our numbers by letting Konoha allow weaker shinobi and kunoichi" Naruto said.
"I have to agree with this. I mean look how many kunoichi there are now than what there were back then. I went through the records and found that the numbers have dropped every year" Tenten said.
The three chatted as they waited their individual turns. Tenten was first and she scored 10/10 on kunai throwing and shuriken throwing. This came to no surprise to any one in the class. Tenten always scored perfect in throwing kunai and shuriken, even when she is sick. Neji was next and he got a 9/10 on kunai and 8/10 on shuriken. Naruto's score was 7/10 kunai and 8/10 shuriken.
After that it was taijutsu. Tenten frowned since taijutsu wasn't her forte at all. Though she did much training with Naruto and Neji she would never be up to their level. The class had to spar with a chunin for five minutes.
When that was over the class headed back to the classroom and did the three jutsu required to graduate. Naruto handed the chunin instructor a note explaining his condition and it was signed by the Hokage so the chunin couldn't do anything about it.
Neji of course pulled all three off and was given the title of best shinobi in the class. Tenten did her and was given best kunoichi title. Naruto squeaked through and he was just happy with that. The three headed out after class to celebrate their making it to be genin.
/Scene Break/
Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage was looking up from his desk. In front of him was a group of jounin awaiting for their teams.
"We're here once again. A new fresh batch of genin have made it through their schooling and are ready to begin their lives as shinobi of Konoha. We shall start with any requests" the old leader said.
"I ask for Naruto Uzumaki, Neji Hyuga and Tenten Kisaragi" Kakashi said stepping forward.
Many of the jounin looked at Kakashi, surprised that Kakashi was taking a team. Kakashi had retired from Anbu since he wanted to teach Naruto since he knew Naruto would be graduating. The jounin then mumbled and talked amongst themselves about Kakashi selection of a team. The demon, a Hyuga and a clan-less girl. Just what was Kakashi thinking?
Hiruzen was curious too, but he decided that Kakashi had his reasons and he'd leave it as that.
"Very well Kakashi, you'll get your team" Hiruzen said.
Kakashi nodded and took the three files from the pile.

Naruto, Neji and Tenten sat awaiting their team assignments. All three were hoping to on the same team though they knew their chances were slim. The chunin teacher came in and first congratulated them all for becoming shinobi and hoped them all well in their future shinobi careers. Then the team assignments.
"Team 12 is Neji Hyuga, Tenten Kisaragi and Naruto Uzumaki."
The three grinned as they looked at each other. They were happy that they'd be on the same team. Tenten kissed Naruto in her happiness.
"Your jounin sensei is Kakashi Hatake."
After all the teams were called soon the jounin senseis came by picking up their teams til Naruto, Neji and Tenten were left.
"Where is he?" Tenten asked with a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"I knew we were fated for a tardy sensei" Neji said in an old croaky prophet voice.
"Dude, you're getting better with that voice. All you need his get some of those flowing robes and a crystal ball" Naruto said.
"Hm, I guess you're right" Neji said as he thought of that as a new prank idea.
"Alright, well I guess since this guy is going to be late we best make the most of it. Neji lets show him how we keep busy" Naruto said.
Neji nodded as he pulled out a huge sealing scroll. He released the contents and he and Naruto got to work. Tenten sat back grinning. She just loved watching her man work.
/Scene Break/
Kakashi was standing outside the door. He was readying himself for the fury he knew his new students would have. He took a deep breath and put on a bored face. He opened the door and got a surprise instead. First when he stepped into the room he stepped on a trip line. That released several pie launchers. They hit him dead center. One hit him in the face and two on the torso. But that wasn't the end of it. He was then hit by several stink bombs specially made by Neji. After that the jounin was knocked back falling on his butt. This released thumb tacks and they made contact on his behind. Kakashi yelped and jumped from the pain. This started the final part. Kakashi was covered with many colorful dyes. Kakashi now looked as colorful as a certain Uchiha had been.
Kakashi looked at his three students looking at him with patented faux shocked faces. The jounin knew that Naruto and Neji had done this since he had seen their pranks in action. He glared at them.
"I hate you all" he grounded out.
"He says the cutest things, doesn't he" Naruto commented.
"Yes, he does" Neji said with a nod.
"Meet me on the roof" Kakashi said then left so he could get cleaned up.
Naruto, Tenten and Neji all fell over laughing hard. They headed to the roof holding onto each other still laughing. They got to the roof and sat down, with Tenten in the middle of the two boys, awaiting their sensei. Kakashi appeared clean though he did smell of stink bombs.
"Do you two know how to get the stink off me?" he asked.
"Yeah, just soak in prune juice with nutmeg and cayenne peppers" Neji said.
Kakashi raised an eyebrow at this. He wasn't sure if Neji was telling the truth or yanking his chain.
"Alright, lets get to know one another" he said.
"What do you want to know?" Tenten asked.
"Stuff like your likes, dislikes, dreams and goals, that kind of thing" Kakashi said.
"Why don't you start" Tenten suggested.
"Alright. My name is Kakashi. I have some likes and some dislikes. My dreams and goals are none of your business" Kakashi said.
"That's it?!" Tenten asked.
Kakashi just nodded while Tenten grumbled about mysterious senseis.
"I guess I'll go next then" Neji said, "my name is Neji Hyuga. My likes is playing pranks with my best bud Naruto, thinking up new prank ideas, messing with my clan. My dislikes is the structure of my clan and pranks that fail to go off. As for my dreams and goals, well, I don't have any right now."
Kakashi just nodded and turned to his two remaining students.
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki. My likes is playing pranks, playing new pranks with my best friend Neji, reciting my own poetry to my lovely, amazingly beautiful Heavenly Heaven" Naruto said, but was stopped by Kakashi.
"Your own poetry?" the jounin asked.
"Yeah, for example. Oh my dear goddess, your luscious brown eyes are like deep pools of chocolate that I yearn to stare into forever. Those lovely lips how I long to touch with my own and savor your divine taste-"
Naruto wasn't able to finish as Tenten launched herself onto him and began to seriously kiss the life out of him.
Kakashi blinked at this. He was very surprised by this.
"Don't worry, they are always like this" Neji said nonchalantly.
"Um, okay" Kakashi said as he wondered if he should get a hose out.
Tenten broke the kiss smiling big as she got up and sat down again in her spot. Naruto got back up with a goofy smile on his face.
"Anyway, my dislikes are how long it takes ramen to cook, people who judges others before knowing them and those who are just plain asses. My dreams and goals is to be married to my lovely Heavenly Heaven" Tenten blushed brightly at this, "and be to the best shinobi I can be."
Kakashi just nodded and turned to Tenten.
"My name is Tenten Kisaragi. My likes are my amazing boyfriend Naruto, learning how to use new weapons and weapons in general" Tenten said.
"It gets her hot, I love seeing her hot" Naruto commented.
Tenten blushed brightly at this, but smiled at Naruto lovingly.
Neji rolled his eyes as Kakashi was now really unsure what he was getting into.
"My dislikes are fan girls and weak women as well as losing. I hate to lose. My goals and dreams, well, I want to be married to Naruto" Tenten blushed at this with a smile, "and I want to be as great as my hero Tsunade Senju."
Kakashi just nodded. He sure had an interesting bunch to say the least.
"Okay, now that we're done I can tell you that you're not genin yet" he said.
"What do you mean?" Tenten asked.
Kakashi then explained how they needed to pass one more test to prove they are ready to be genin. He then suggested to not eat breakfast and then told where to meet and at what time then finally leaving.
"Hm, interesting. You catch what he was saying Neji" Naruto said.
"I did, he just recommended for us not to eat breakfast, but we could never do that. We need the strength for whatever test he has planned" Neji said.
"Precisely. So lets go and train for a bit then head home to get a good rest for the test" Naruto said.
They all agreed and headed off.

At eight the three were awaiting for Kakashi to show up.
"This is going to be an on-going thing isn't" Neji said with a sigh.
"Not if we nip it in the bud" Naruto said with a foxy smile.
"What do you have in mind?" Neji asked.
"Oh, I got some ideas" Naruto said.
Tenten was resting her head against Naruto's shoulder. She was holding Naruto's hands. She wasn't tired or anything. She just liked being close to Naruto.
Soon Kakashi showed up.
"Yo" he greeted.
He got three stares at him.
"Alright, lets begin" the jounin said.
He then explained the test. They had to get two bells that were on him. They had a time limit on this. The losers would be tied to the posts while the others ate. Kakashi then pulled out an egg timer.
"Oh, and one last thing. I advise you to go at me with everything you got. Attack me to kill" he said.
As soon as the timer began Naruto, Neji and Tenten dashed off.

The three met up in the woods with a clear view of Kakashi.
"He's up to something" Naruto said.
"He is, he wants us to split up when we are supposed to stick together" Neji said.
"Yeah, Konoha shinobi always work in teams of three never less really" Tenten said.
"So what should we do?" Neji asked.
Naruto got a foxy smile on his face.

Kakashi had whipped a book from his pouch. The book was highly inappropriate to be reading in public, but Kakashi never cared about that. He giggled at certain parts as he read.
Rustling of bushes got Kakashi's attention though he acted like he didn't notice. Out of the bushes Naruto, Neji and Tenten appeared.
Hmm, looks like they understand the test, but how good are they? That I want to see Kakashi thought.
"Alright, we all know the plan. Let's go" Naruto said.
Tenten stayed still as she began unleashing barrage after barrage of kunai and shuriken. Kakashi was at first shocked, but dodged and evaded each one. He had to put his book away. When the barrages stopped Neji moved forward and began to using Jyuuken on Kakashi. Kakashi though was familiar with the Hyuga taijutsu style and was able to stop the attacks. Naruto then joined in and Kakashi had to deal with that.
Naruto and Neji were a formidable team together and Kakashi was having a hard time to evade their combine attacks. It didn't help that they had coordinated with Tenten so she could hurl kunais and shuriken whenever Naruto and Neji gave her openings. The jounin was impressed with their teamwork and their skills.
"That's enough" he said.
Naruto, Neji and Tenten stopped, but were ready to start again if necessary.
"Good job, you three showed great teamwork. Though you didn't get the bells I am impressed" Kakashi said.
"What makes you think we didn't get the bells" Naruto said with a foxy grin.
Kakashi checked his hip and found the bells gone. He then turned and saw Tenten holding them.
"How?" he asked.
"Simple, Tenten cut the bells from your hip and then while you were distracted I came in and attacked you. I kicked the bells away to Tenten. I maintained my attack on you so you wouldn't get suspicious" Naruto said.
Kakashi was impressed.
"Who gets the bells?" he asked.
"We all do, we're a team" Tenten said.
Neji nodded as did Naruto.
"You pass, congratulations" Kakashi said with an eye smile.
/Scene Break/
"Man, this totally sucks" Naruto grumbled as he and his team were doing another D-rank mission.
"It does suck, but remember Naruto. We're new genin and aren't strong enough for higher missions" Neji said.
"Yeah, I know, but weeding gardens and painting fences" Naruto grumbled.
"Naruto does have a point. What ninja carries groceries. That's not a shinobi's job" Tenten said.
"I knew I loved you for a reason" Naruto said as he slung an arm around Tenten's waist.
Tenten beamed as Neji rolled his eyes.
Kakashi was walking behind them reading his book.
"MY ETERNAL RIVAL!"
Kakashi froze. His whole body was stiff as his blood ran cold. Oh god, no, please let it not be him. Please, please, please on everything that is perverted let it not be him he thought.
Appearing out a big dust cloud was a man a bit bigger than Kakashi. He was wearing green spandex, his black hair was cut in a bowl cut and he had the biggest bushiest eyebrows ever.
"Yosh, Kakashi my eternal rival. I heard you had a team and I wanted to see for myself" the man said.
"Hmm, you say something Guy?" Kakashi asked.
"Ahh, curse you and your hip attitude Kakashi" Guy said.
"Uh, Kakashi sensei, who is this?" Tenten asked.
"Students this is Might Guy" Kakashi said.
"Yosh, my name is Might Guy, Konoha's Green Beast" Guy proclaimed as he did a good guy pose with a big grin and tooth ping.
What a weirdo Naruto and Neji thought.
"You know Kakashi, I was going to take a team this year, but I had to go on a mission and wasn't able to get back til after the fact" Guy said.
Oh god, he could've been our sensei Naruto, Neji and Tenten thought with horror written all over their faces.
"That's nice Guy, but my team and I need to report in" Kakashi said in a bored tone.
"Yes, understand. I must go myself" Guy said then sped off kicking up a big dust cloud.
