Chapter 13: the news
Yugi stood in the hallway confused and afraid of what happened to him and what he had done, his fox ears twitched on his head and his fox tailed swayed as he slowly wrapped his arms around his stomach protectively.
'I'm pregnant, they would have hurt my baby but...I've never sent someone to the shadow realm before...I'm a hikari n-not a yami,' Yugi thought shakingly.
A mind link that hasn't been used in a while suddenly opened up and Yugi felt love, comfort and concern fill his mind to ease away his pain and suffering.
:A-Atem, Yami: Yugi cried out in shock and happiness.
:Aibou! Are you alright? We are on the way to get you since you took too long to come back: Yami called out in concern through their mind link.
:Everything will be fine habibi: Atem soothed with his deep toned voice to help calm down his light.
:Sorry to interrupt your loving moment but he and I have merged at the moment so come get him quickly. He has had a shocking experience and needs the both of you immediatedly: Kirai Kitsune stated calmly in the mind link between the three lovers.
Yugi curled up on the floor with his tail curled around him protectively and soothingly as he waited patiently for his lovers to pick him up and hold him. He didn't have to wait long as four arms appeared around him and held him close.
"Yugi are you alright aibou?" Yami asked, concern shining in his crimson-amethyst eyes as he and Atem held their lover close.
Yugi took a shaky breath and slowly nodded his head which concerned Atem.
"I sense the power of the Shadow Realm being used in this area...Yugi tell us what happened and don't leave anything out. Please habibi," Atem stated firmly but with concern for his young lover.
Yugi slowly began to tell them what happened from how Anzu and Ushio were gonna hurt him to when he and Kirai Kitsune merged, leaving out the part about him being pregnant due to his fear of them leaving him to know he can carry a child. Atem and Yami listened and noticed a moment of hesitation as if Yugi had something to say but wouldn't say it.
After he finished his story on the Shadow Realm bit, Kirai Kitsune had separated from Yugi's body and looked at him sternly.
"Master Atem and Master Yami, Master Yugi is afraid you'll leave him if he told you this. During this fight or disagreement, I recently found out Yugi was pregnant so he's fearful of what you two may think of him," Kirai Kitsune confessed causing Yugi to curl into a ball out of fear and sadness.
Yami and Atem were shocked to hear their little lover was pregnant with their child and looked at him with admiration, love and awe.
"That's wonderful!" Yami stated, causing Yugi to look up at him in shock.
"R-Really?" Yugi asked in fear.
Yami and Atem smiled gently and nodded their heads. Atem leaned down and slowly pressed his lips against Yugi's, Yugi returning the kiss happily. After a few minutes, Atem pulled away so Yami could kiss Yugi as well. Once he pulled away, he gently picked up Yugi and smiled.
"Let's tell everyone the good news," Yami stated as he smiled down at Yugi who smiled back shyly and nodded his head.
